Foods are great, no wonder customers are willing to wait to have the best dining experience. There wasn't any chance that we were seated right away, there is always a long line no matter what time of the day. Once you get seated, foods are served right away especially with the help of the robot setver. The foods are always served hot. The staff are amazing and attentive as welll. Im gald that they also have options of yellow noodles. You can order by scanning the QR code assigned per table which allows thr customers to customize their orders.

I ordered takeout from this place, and they work really quickly even though they have a line out the door. It took ~20 minutes. I think the pho broth is really good. I don’t feel thirsty after eating it and it feels very comforting. The shaken beef (bò lúc lắc) is very soft and delicious, but could use more tomato chunks. I do think the rice is a little heavy (on the garlic and seasoning) but that is my preference for white rice over red rice. Pho with rare meat (tái) 5/5 Shaken beef with rice (bò lúc lắc) 4/5

Food was quite good with large portions. Service was quick. The robots were an interesting twist. The noise level was moderate. We tried to order via the QR code and failed (old age issue!) and had to ask for traditional menu.

Pho 21 First time here, we had a party of 8 so we had to wait, probably about 10 minutes. This place was packed and busy, the cat robots came by with water and sides of bean spouts. I ordered #32 Seafood Rice Noodle Soup, portion was huge and lots of scallops, shrimp and squid. They also have chili sauces on the side. I would come back again if I was in San Jose.

Pho 21 is always packed.The food here is consistently delicious, especially late at night when you're craving something warm and satisfying. If you plan to stop by during lunch, make sure to arrive early because it gets busy fast. Great flavors, friendly service, and a perfect spot for pho lovers any time of day!

This place blew up on Instagram and decided to visit few months later. This is actually my first time to go to a restaurant where they use self-serving robots, where they hold drinks and food for customers to get. The place looks nice and elegant. They pretty much have pho, rice plates, coffee, boba, etc. Also, it opens until 2AM, which is very unusual considering that most restaurants close around 9PM. Really great for those who want to dine at midnight. I decided to go light today and have chicken pho. It’s good that it contains only white chicken breast meat, which is very healthy. And of course the rice noodles are just sinking at the bottom of the bowl. Really good though! Probably should get appetizers the next time I come back. Overall, it’s a good experience and looking forward to returning to this place.

There could have been way more seafood in my soup bowl. Tasted great, black tea milk with boba was delivered by a kitty bot on wheels. Music and outside seating with heaters. Gets busy.

At Pho 21, you get your money’s worth. The flavors are typical of Vietnamese cuisine, but the portions are big. My wife and I came for a late lunch. I had the beef short rib, while my wife had the seafood pho. We also got the spring rolls for an appetizer. It’s a hefty portion of beef short rib you get. The meat slips off the bone, and is tender to the bite. The broth itself is that refreshing, herbaceous goodness you’d expect from pho. There’s a lot of noodles too, fresh and perfect texture. The seafood pho was equally delicious, lots of shrimp, squid, and scallops in it. They seem to get busy during peak hours. They have tablet where you can join a waitlist, but no staff was attending to it when we came. Nevertheless, we were seated immediately. They have call buttons for service, so you don’t have to be constantly turning your head to get someone’s attention. Service is prompt, and they also have a service robots that bring items to your table. Maybe next time we will be served by one of the robots. Parking is available but it might get crowded during peak hours. Overall, Pho 21 is a good option if you want a pho fix.

I love this place, its so delicious and i like how they have robots to help serve with the food, and the food comes fairly quick and this place is just pretty. I LOVE the pho and their boba is so good! I recommend going here anytime you feel hungry.

I came around 9 on a Monday.(Not to busy) first time not having to wait for a table. Weekend nights Very busy I ordered a coconut milk tea, Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls and the number beef pho. Very polite and quick service. It's my third time here. It's been a great experience every time. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in the area. Thanks Pho 21✌🏻

Had a great meal at Pho 21! I ordered the Chicken Pho and did a half egg noodle, half white noodle mix. It’s the perfect way to eat it—the egg noodles add a nice bite while the white rice noodles keep it classic and soak up all that flavorful chicken broth. ​The broth was clear and savory, and the chicken was fresh. I also love the atmosphere here; the food-delivery robots are a cool touch and make the service really efficient. It’s also one of the best spots in town for a late-night craving. Definitely recommend!"

We visited Pho 21 on Saturday around 11 AM. There was a bit of a wait, but it moved quickly, and the three of us were seated without much delay. I ordered the short rib pho, and it was excellent—the short rib had plenty of meat, very tender, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The noodles were perfect as well. I also tried the seafood fried rice, which was moist, tasty, and cooked really well. The iced coffee was strong and delicious. They have robots that deliver food and drinks, which is a great novelty if you have children. But on this day, maybe because they were so busy, the robots just seemed to be in the way, and I had to get my own drinks off of a robot, which was a little annoying, but okay. Otherwise, the service was very good, and overall, everything about the meal was great. I highly recommend.

Pho 21 never disappoints. The server provided exceptional service with genuine kindness and attention to detail. It made our dining experience extra special. Highly recommend!

Only complaint is that our table was next to the window where all the sun hit, so unfortunately we were blinded by the light/reflection most of our meal since there was no shade or curtain. Decent food and restaurant does open late. Stopped here within the week (11/15/2022) again after my late massage appointment. I was here after 9:30 pm and hoping for a light evening as it's a week night. Most tables are taken and about 10 minutes wait. Check out the robotic waitress for fun 😀. Otherwise, average neighborhood restaurant that accommodate late dinners and have a few vegetarian entrees for those days that I'm on a vegetarian diet.

I wouldn’t come back here. Unless it’s literally the only place open because of its late hours which is the only bonus of this restaurant. The service is horrrriiibbllle! We had to call over the waiter multiple times. They never refilled our water or checked in. The steak pho was nothing special. The steak would be something I would feed to my dog. Not particularly meet I would want to eat. The spring rolls are so expensive at $9.00 for 2 rolls. The prices here are really high. The Pho Ap Chao is the only thing I’d recommend.

I'm from out of town where good pho places are plentiful. Reviews for this place was good so we went. Waited about 25-minutes for a table. You order from your phone, I dig it! Food was okay, service was okay (maybe different good?). There was a wait for the bathroom, and parking was not great. I said what I said. Might be San Jose good, but a 3/5 from me. Clean and people are nice.
