It’s under new management and much cleaner than before. The boba tastes amazing and the drinks are packed with flavor!
Visiting the area after being away for 25 years. It used to be the best I've cream shop in town. Not its an amazing tea shop. Missed the old shop, but still loved the tea.
I had an amazing experience at T4! I ordered the taro milk tea, and Khanh and Jada were so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
T4s always one of my top boba stores. The employees were nice, and the drinks were sweet as always.
I’m rating this 5 stars because I think it deserves at least 4.3, maybe 4.4. I like the Okinawa and Earl grey with boba
I love to try boba teas through out the bay area & so far this has to be the best one yet. Loved the Oolong milk tea with boba.
Great tea! Employees are all students so the service time has room for improvement. Try the popcorn chicken, too!
Love this place!!! Great service. Great ambiance. Great place to chill, do homework, rest after martial arts, play board games, hang with family and friends.
Good food options, sometimes long lines, good drinks.
I visited this place last week. Both drink and food were brilliant! Especially their popcorn chicken was amazing. As a popcorn chicken/fried chicken lover, I've been to many places and their popcorn chicken is definately my number 1! Chicken meat was very fresh and juicy and from the color of the batter, I bet they're using fresh/clean deep frying oil. Also the portion was generous and it was good enough for a meal, not just a snack! Store was extremely clean with friendly staffs. Absolutely loved it and I am definately re-visiting.
A young man greets you with a friendly smile as you wander into this beautiful and elegant establishment. My heart flutters as he gazes into my eyes and uses his soft and charming voice, saying “Welcome in!” He listens to our every request and makes our food with extreme caution and consideration. The milk tea I ordered was so delectable that I couldn’t help but give him a 90% tip and a warm handshake. I recommend this place to anyone that loves friendliness, love, and care for people and their food. 10/10 I do not regret going here!

Come here often, it's one of the few great boba place around the area. I love their popcorn chicken too!
I have never had better popcorn chicken before in my life. I came here recently with my friend after a long day doing AP course work, and nothing makes my day better than the refreshing, delicious, and perfect drinks and that basil popcorn chicken as a snack. Honestly, I am very interested in working at this humble establishment over the summer!
First time after new ownership. First they do not keep the points so we lost them. Overall it's as good as before, the tables are now much cleaner as are the floors. There really is no other place around here to get tea and snacks, compared to other places the tea is not as good but it is decent. The calamari and popcorn chicken were excellent, crispy and tasty. Service was fine, one tea came out much slower than the others.
It is so delicious at T4! The cheezling popcorn chicken is so delicious! They put the cheese powder is the kick! And the drinks are perfectly made!! I recommend it.
Came with my family here to try their tea since it's really close to our home. Great price for their teas and boba. I definitely recommend coming here.
Clean place with quick service. Drinks and food were good too. I'll be coming back.
I stopped at T4 for a boba and Basil Chicken today and was very pleasantly surprised. The place was spotlessly clean and well run! There were 2 kids doing all the work but there was also an adult supervising everything. It was such a good experience! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!!
This place is perfect for beverages and snacks. I love the brown sugar milk, and the basil chicken is the best on the menu. It was my first visit, but I think it's going to become my go-to spot.
One of the best tea place in San Jose, many variety of drinks in the store and popcorn chicken tastes really good I hope you all try this menu. One more thing that good in this place is clean inside and the employees are nice.

Good selection of boba. We had a jasmine milk boba with pearls. They allowed is to customize with less sugar. Service was good. Taste was good. They have some food as well. The tables in the place were dirty which lost them a star.
Really good - far better than anything else in this area. Had black milk tea with boba - not the best I've ever had, but absolutely good, and very welcome on a hot summer day. Definitely recommended!
Patronized T4 numerous times. Boba tea is ok, as expected. Finger foods like fries and pop corn chicken were ok too. Fairly no frills. Good to have a boba tea place to go to over this end of San Jose.
Pretty awesome place to go for the drinks. The food is also pretty good according to what I've heard, haven't tried the food tho.
This place has great food and drinks. I just wish there were more food options, but anyway good restraunt
Bit pricy, but I'm glad to have them in the area. Try the Okinawa Pearl milk tea if you're a fan of plain old regular.
Good place with good quality honey boba. Extensive menu, super convenient for those who live in Almaden.
Pros: Clean, nice staff, good selection of drinks and snacks Cons: no added-sugar-free options, no spoon/forks for snacks

Do not place an order online. I ordered and paid for my order through the website and they had no idea how to process it at the store. No one answered to cancel the order, so I now have to call my credit card to deal with the issue. I tried to order ahead because the wait is very long in person. The bubble tea is good though.
Workers are very slow right now, so it takes too long to get your drink. The good news is that the final product is quite good and definitely worthy of an "upper tier" boba drink. I hope over time this improves. They should also have online ordering.
The recently opened T4 on Almaden and Via Valiente is a cool addition. Be sure to try the Basil Popcorn Chicken! They have a diverse range of other food, dessert, and beverage items. The wait will be long as the new location goes through some growing pains and a surge of customers. This also means sticky/messy tables when the staff is unable to clean them as customers come in and out of the shop.
Thought service would be better and faster under new management. Nope. Super slow and they have to check the paper on how to make each drink.
This is consistently the boba shop with the slowest service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been here at least 5 times, hoping for a quick boba run every time. Most boba shops are good or excellent at taking your order quickly and churning out drinks in under a few minutes. Every experience I’ve had at T4, I’ve had to wait a very long time (20+ minutes), in line to order and waiting for my drink. And that’s usually with only a few other customers in the shop, if any (I’ve never seen it busy). The staff always seems to move a bit slowly, perhaps they’re undertrained or not paid enough to want to hustle. I’m hoping that they get enough feedback like this to speed up the process, I feel like I keep giving them chances and it’s always the same story.
I ordered their Brown Sugar Iced Milk with Pearl, and unfortunately, the drink failed to make a lasting impression. The flavor was rather lackluster, with a noticeable blandness that didn't live up to the anticipated sweetness of brown sugar. Adding to my disappointment was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Upon entering, I observed food scraps and debris on multiple tables, leaving me uncertain about where to sit. This lack of tidiness detracted from the overall ambiance and gave a negative impression of the establishment.

I've been a customer here for years and have never particularly been wow'd by anything from this T4. This trend continues even under new management. While I appreciate what they've done with the place (as compared to before it was terribly dirty), service remains to be slow, and I'm always left disappointed with my drink. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but a recent turn that this T4 has taken is serving large boba that, compared to the previous size, is more like medium boba. I hope that they could return to preparing the previous size, as not only is it more enjoyable but I'd also feel like I'm not wasting my money over a topping I could buy for the same price, for larger some-store else—and this includes the other T4 on Story road. And so why is it that I just don't get my boba some-store else? It's because this T4 is the closest to where I live, and I feel as though its convenience of its location is one of the only things this T4 has going for itself (This includes its close proximity to schools). Overall, this isn't meant to shame the store; however, I will say that I haven't enjoyed most of my experiences with this T4. And I hope that under new management, the store will improve over time, but this is my feedback for now.

Very bad service during a Sunday afternoon visit. For 3 drinks and a order of popcorn chicken had to wait for 45 min and was not even busy. People there did not want to work and were just sitting around. When questioned them about why did it take so long with no other customers and responded with a bad attitude. Don’t come here..
I would have given a 0 star if possible. for a $8+ popcorn chicken in a small box, not only was it dry, I think they might have forgotten to add any spice.
Horrible customer service. Waited in practically no line for 10 minutes no one acknowledged my existence or entrance to the building. I really dislike leaving bad reviews, but this was absolutely laughable. Employees making drinks looked at me, it wasn’t a secret I was there. Not coming back
This place is bad and the servers are disrespectful. The line is always long and I see the workers with drugs on the table. They play music with profanity extremely loud. When they messed up my order instead of giving me a new one they took off my lid and dumped lechee and have it back to me without a lid.
When I tried adding a custom tip the girl in the front was being pushy and I accidentally put 5$ tip instead. Their custom tip selection is so confusing 💀
The kitchen closes 45 mins before closing time 💀💀🙄🙄🙄🙄 Couldnt even get my fried calamari i was craving for. Worst t4, closes way before all the other t4
Terrible service. The place was empty when we went there, we were looking for food and drinks and they have gyoza. When we asked about the filling, the cashier/server got annoyed and said “I don’t know”. My husband politely asked “could you find out?” (I’m pregnant so we have to know what was in it). The server rolled his eyes at us, and got even more annoyed and went to check about it. Eventually came back without any info, another lady came and told us it was beef and veggies. But the server still saw us as annoyance to him. So we left and didn’t buy anything. No wonder why the place was empty. I would recommend to change the server/cashier.
I’ve been a regular T4 customer for as long as I can remember, especially at this specific location. However, when I saw that this location was under a new management, I was shocked. It surprised me, but I never could’ve imagined that something that was once so enjoyable could become so inefficient. I ordered at 2:19, and received my order at 2:42. My order took forever and it wasn’t even the correct one. I also attempted to order a flour dessert with condensed milk, but I was told that it wasn’t being sold. If it’s not being sold, then why is it on the menu in the first place?! I was given a ridiculously small amount of boba in my tea. I might as well have just not even ordered I trust you will improve. ❤️
Have been going to this location with my kids since last year. They recently changed management and this was my first time under them. My kids got the same drinks they normally get. The employee making the drinks was reading what looked like recipes off of papers on the counter. My son asked for half sweet and the drink was full sweet. I asked her why it was so sweet and she said "that's what the recipe on the paper said to do". My daughter's mango smoothie had unblended chunks of ice in it, got honeydew popping boba when she asked for mango. Looks like they brought in new employees who do not know how to make the drinks and adjustments and have to read how to make it for each order. Very inconsistent and slow service.
T4's product price is rapidly increasing. Back in 2017, it was around $3.75 for a panda milk tea. Now it's almost $6 for some "sugar, water, tea, milk, and toppings." They even stupidly charge 60 cents for no ice! Also, they don't even let the customers use the restroom (its really weird why they don't let customers use it). They only want to earn money and don't care about their customers. Lastly, it takes forever to get our drinks. There were 2-3 staff in there and basically they were pretty much lazy on their phones. VERY unreasonable charges and service. I'll never step my foot in this store ever again.
I want to like this place, but they were so disorganized I had to wait over 30 minutes for a bubble tea. It was also frustrating because they didn’t do drinks in order at all. So people who came into the store after me left with similar orders to mine well before I got my drink. There is zero social distancing. They have a sign saying limit 7 people in the store. When I went in there were 3-4 people. It seemed to all be kids saving spots for large numbers of other kids. So it was very crowded when they all came back in at once. It’s great for them that they are so busy, but until they can get more organized it’s definitely not worth the trip and wait.
I’m a T4 addict. I go twice a day 5 days a week, and once on the weekends. This place has been wonderful until yesterday 7/20/2020. Went in and order my regular drink which is a strawberry milk shake. As soon as I seen the drink I knew it wasn’t done correctly. It was too dark and tasted bitter/sour. So I asked if the could please re make the drink and the response I got was “well that’s how the drink is always made”. I replied back and said no it’s not I come here everyday and never had this problem. She replied with “I work here everyday”. Which is not true or at least not every evening since that’s when I go get my drink after my hike. Two ladies were working and both were very rude and even giggling while i was explaining what was wrong with my drink. I finally had enough and asked for a refund. It’s upsetting when you’ve gotten exceptional service from other employees from this location to encounter two employees with poor customer service.
I got a drink and basil popcorn chicken. I was exited to have popcorn chicken cuz I didn’t have them for a long time. And It costed me $18 for a “drink” and “popcorn chicken”. I will get so much more even in Mcdonard’s. I waited 35min to get my food. The store wasn’t busy at all. After I waited for like 25min and I asked the worker when can I get my food and the worker said she simply forgot. I only asked for two things. Sorry for my poor English but it won’t be poorer than how the food price and service aren’t reasonable here. The dink was $8.15 and I added lychee jelly and pearl. Even if I added some toppings the price for a drink was already expensive. And Popcorn chicken here is $9.95 and popcorn chicken from other T4 is $8.75. THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION IS EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER LOCATION. Why the hell is that? Will I get $15 popcorn in 2024? Maybe you will but I’m not cuz I’ll stop going here lol. 90% of customers are students. And they are charging students $9.95 popcorn chicken. How reasonable price is that? I might doing this too much but I have to say that boba price has been insane these days. In my country, restaurants and cafes that is near universities can’t increase the price so easily if it’s not for a reasonable reason. Because the government acknowledges that uni students don’t have much money. And the only boba place that is near elementary, middle school and high school is expensive than other locations? We have to think about it. To the owner of the T4 San Jose do better.
