Nice experience. There was a really attentive Black guy who wasn't our waiter, but waited on our table as if he was. He was prompt and polite. He even had great conversation although it was brief. He made this a pleasant trip out to eat. It was a lunch date with my son for his 19th birthday. This was a much better location than the Chili's in Stockton, that was a horrible experience.

Took my BFF here for her 68th birthday for one of our favorites Chicken Enchilada Soup. The only place I'll go for this soup. Our server was quick, friendly and when I told her it was my besties birthday, she brought to our table a Molten Chocolate Cake after we finished our soup !!! That jester was very nice and our server offered to sing happy birthday. Gotta love that. We'll be back.

Service was fast and friendly and the food was delivered quickly and made just how we requested. My steak was cooked perfectly well done with extra garlic butter soooooo delicious. My youngest son just loves corn so much I had to get him some and he was satisfied. My other son eats like me so he had a steak as well with broccoli and it was perfect as well. We always have a great time when we come here and the staff is always upbeat and courteous.

I never knew there was a Chili's Grill & Bar here in San Leandro...I had taken a Cap Trasher and a Laggers Brindle to my pal Jjeenko Khan for the upcoming Rigjt Pplassing Festival there at the Kaibab Auditorium in July, and Jjeenko promised me lunch. He wanted to take me to his favorite Afghani Restaurant so I could experience the national dish of Afganistan, but I didn't think I could get all those pig and goat organs down. So...I recommended Chili's Grill, because it's always Great! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I was 9 mins away and they beat with my order. I got all this for $32 with tip. Steak, mac and cheese, texas fries, chips with cheese dip, sauce, meat sauce. Desert and a drink.

They have the best service i have seen around. the server was nice and polite at all times. The food was really good and quick getting it to our table it was no more than 15 minutes, compared to other places wen you have to wait 30 to 45 minutes. Good job!! Keep it up 👍👍👍🙏

It can be a hit or miss depending on your server. I think her name is Jennifer(she has different color hair like every month). She's the best server I've ever had. I always get the 3 for me because it's the only convenient thing for me. Food is usually always hot and feels fresh. I get the dip trio and the skillet queso is our absolute favorite. Get full with just the trio it self and take the main meal to go lol. I get endless refills, again based on your server and how busy they are.

I have been to this location many times and have always had a great experience with the food service and atmosphere. The staff is really friendly and I have never had a negative experience with taking my order. My food has always come out the way I like and have never had to wait to long even on a busy night. They have a nice rap around bar and the building is decorated with HD TV's. It's obviously not a high end restaurant. But the chefs cook with love, the energy is always positive and the service is great. I love that I can check out and pay at the table as well. I recommend this location.

When we read the other reviews we hesitated to come but our kids insisted on coming so we did, we did not regret it. I guess the other negative reviews were people being too harsh judging this restaurant. In comparison to other Chillis restaurants, this had great food, service and atmosphere. To the guy at To-Go with the afro, you are a gem. Thank you for holding your composure despite the other patrons yelling in your face. You handled a Saturday night by yourself phenomenally. I hope your team recognizes your hardwork. On the other hand - we waited 1.5 hours for our food and the burger was extremely lackluster - less than a handful of fries, sloppily made and the egg rolls weren’t even cut for the order. The expo mentioned they had a new cook but I know from my experience, there should be at least 1 more experienced person scheduled so that they are OVERstaffed and can handle situations like this. especially since the inside dining was not packed at all. I hope the managers will adjust their schedule to accommodate this and make it better for customers & the workers.

Food is always decent when we come, and they pour pretty hefty drinks for a good price, I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta which was surprisingly tasty and filling, garlic bread was OK , wait time was also not bad at all, got seated quickly and served quickly. My friends and I came in a group of 9. It was Saturday night and pretty crowded. We asked for separate checks right away and ordered. When food came out plates were just handed out and I was given a cut of steak I didn’t order. My friend was given mine and had already started eating. In hindsight I should have asked our waitress to just adjust bill accordingly and kept it pushing. Instead I asked for what I had ordered because that steak was cooked a different way than I had ordered my steak and after all their job is to get the order right and our job is to enjoy and pay for the meal. They charged us twice for my steak and side of mushrooms. When we spoke to manager about it he kept saying I comped your bill and that it would take a day or two to show on the card statement. My son explained we are from the Ceres area which is an hour or more away. We just wanted things to be right. Again no one was rude on either end. I highly enjoyed the music that was playing. We were all singing and having a good time. Staff was shouting out birthdays and everyone was clapping and cheering. I gave 3 stars for food because my boys enjoyed their food and cookie dessert was tasty. Now we went over receipt on the way home again because things just didn’t feel right. Sure enough we were also charged for an extra drink we didn’t order. My son tipped our waitress $20 before all this happened. Mostly because we both have worked in customer service and know it can be rough. Mistakes are to be made but the steak.. the extra charge of a whole meal including side and the extra charge of a drink. Yeah it’s exhausting to think about how much we would have been charged if we didn’t notice and how much we still were overcharged because we were just trying to get out of there n get home. Gotta do better Chili’s. **Update** refund posted 8 days later.. not 2 to 3..and only after I posted this and went to the site in response.

We ordered for delivery, they always seem to miss items in our order…. They missed rice and beans for fajita’s I ordered, and they also missed French fries for my daughter’s order. Whoever is making sure items are being sent out correctly to customers needs to do a better job and pay attention, this happens any time of the day, since I’ve ordered lunch/dinner for delivery. It's a Chili's, I ordered pickup to go and normally I don't check my order. I'm glad I did. If you order extra sauces for $1.00 per selection, it's not supposed to come in a souffle cup! The expediter fix the issues.

Food was average and it doesn't feel like it was made fresh. The Fajitas your choice of 3 meat was meh. All the other finger food during happy hour was even worse than Costco frozen food pop in the air fryer. The best one was the side salad to be honest. The margarita is pretty strong though. Our server was great. She was by herself assisting everyone in the bar side. Their Presto pay system sucks. We have two gift cards and it can't process the payment at the table. The manager had to process it and was able to take one of the two cards. I called in to check the balance and it was full still. I didn't want to deal with it so eventually pay the balance with my cc. It takes two diff machine to process it. I guess the 1st machine is a lemon and hope they take it out of service. Just want to go out and support local BS. Will give it another chance with my other gift card. :)

I ordered my food online for curbside. Got there finished the instructions for my food to be brought out and waited almost twenty minutes. Called the restaurant and they said "oh we don't do curbside anymore". No signage or communication saying that. My food was cold as a result.

This was a pretty bad location. First, the hostess made us wait while he seated others who came in after us. He laughed when the seat I was in tipped, seemingly the cushion wasn't on tight..? He also tried seating us in the bar with two kids... we asked to sit elsewhere. He was on his phone a lot too. The bathroom (womens) was yucky and the floor sticky! The waitresses didn't seem to care, put the order in wrong, and didn't refill waters timely or at all for the second fill. The nice part was that the guy who brought out the food, seems to have cared and mostly fixed things. The taste of the mashed potatoes was not the best and the steak was.. underwhelming. Probably one of the worst I've had. I was starving though as we were just passing through on a road trip.. I hate wasting and ate my food. To top it off, the machine to check out wasn't working. I do not recommend this location. I've been to others and loved it.

All the dishes are salt bombs!!! Several dishes are over 4000 mg of sodium. I believe there was one item that was around 1700 mg of sodium but it wasn't even an entree. Way too much salt everywhere. I suggest you look at the nutritional information before you go or at least before you order. Virtually EVERYTHING on the menu was way over the recommended daily value for salt for anyone. If you don't have a health problem when you get there, you might have one after you leave if you eat there. Our server was great. She was very helpful and she sympathized with our dilemma. We didn't order anything because everything was just so loaded with salt. My wife and I left her a ten dollar tip anyway as it wasn't her fault the food will kill you.

I literally come to this location about 4/5 times a month and I decided to give my little sister a dinner at this same location yesterday which was 03/07/2026 . We was all sat and the server did great but in the mean time my headphones ( not earbuds but the ones that go over your ear ) hanging over my purse one of there employees seen my phones I’m guessing on the floor didn’t try to turn them in and they stole my headphones. I didn’t notice that I didn’t have them till the next morning I called them to see if someone turned them in they lied and said no I went up there myself and started pinging them they WERE IN A EMPLOYEES BAG BY THE KITCHEN ! The manager went into their bag and gave them to me SO WATCH OUT THEY STEAL !!!!

But nope, instead she's over there showing off her ring to some other similar skin tone patrons sitting at the bar. Hopefully she shows her fiancee better attention than what she gave me. I guess it's because I'm not a "brotha". Anyway, I left. No money from me for this borderline racist person.

From the beginning horrible experience, i’m not one to be a karen but first we got seated at a small table for 8 ppl, had to ask to combine tables, took 30 min to take our order because waiter didn’t know we had been seated…. messed up our whole food order, ended up waiting 2 more hours for our food and had to replace order because it wasn’t correct again. 0/10 stars sorry… but it’s the truth.

Didnt appear very clean sat at the bar there were a lot of fruit flies around the garnishes and over the bar. Ranch dressing on the floor i watched 3 employees look at it and walk right past never cleaning it up i was there at least half hr. Ot Never got cleaned up. The food was terrible appetizers were over cooked pasta dish was watery garlic toast was not toasted. Worst chilis i have ever been to would NOT recommend this location

The service wasn’t the best. The food was okay. But if I could I would give it 0 stars because I got a really dirty water cup. It was all hazy and with a coat of grime that was noticiable only at the end. They need to put more attention to those details.

I ordered for pickup and while there, I decided to order a margarita to go. I paid for it and waited. A few minutes later, the manager, Thien, comes out and says they do not have the drink I ordered and offered me a $5 gift card. First of all, the drink after tax was $7.08. Secondly, this was my first time coming to Chili's in years so I said I'd rather just have a refund. She immediately stopped smiling and was trying to convince me to just take the gift card. I asked if I could just have another drink - she said well I'd have to pay the difference. Good customer service sense would allow you to think hey, this woman paid for something that we cannot give - because this is an error on our behalf, we can discount a drink by literally a couple of dollars and rectify this situation. But I can't be totally upset about that because no one is required to discount anything for me. What truly upset me beyond everything that's already happened is that she claimed she put in a request to refund me. This was on July 1st and I never received it! I don't care that it was only $7 - it's the principle. So I didn't get the drink I paid for, nor did I receive my money back. This is very shady behavior and I'm so disappointed in Chili's if this is how they've trained their leadership to handle in-house mistakes. I have a picture of her "request" so I don't understand why I never received my refund.

I would give them a 0 if I could. We always order the same thing never have had an issue until tonight. My son got sick within 20 to 30 mins of eating here and we called to ask for a refund. We were told no can't do that. They asked everything that was eaten, and said oh well it was the mac n cheese then that made him sick but won't give a refund. I am sorry this is poor customer service and they need to go back and learn how to provide good customer service. Especially when they said it was an issue with the mac n cheese. we made a report to the health department. we won't ever be returning here. Shame on their manager!

This place sells the worst lava cake I ever had. It was just a regular cake with seriously sweet chocolate syrup. The chocolate syrup is unbelievably sweet and will numb your tongue. Such a waste of money

Horrible service. Food was substandard. Will not visit this establishment again. We were here from 3:30 until 5:30pm on Monday, December 26th. Watched the bartender server everyone twice and look right past me. We were told by hostess we could be seated in 20 minutes then forgot we were there. We ordered shrimp/chicken fajitas. Too much salt to taste anything. Don't waste your hard earned dollars to be treated without any concerns for steps of service. Taco bell is better service and food IMHO.

The food was extremely greasy everything was dripping in grease and was very unappetizing. Utensils and cups were dirty aswell at the table only thing half decent was the nachos. As soon as we finished eating our stomachs started twisting and turning. YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO GO BACK!!!!!!!!

My experience was a awful experience The bartender and management were streotyping me was bad attitude I wouldn't recommend that any customer eat here

The food is okay the only thing is the wait for the food to even pick up without a call or go inside and ask for the wait is even go in to pick up instead of waiting calling out the order outside with the speaker My first time trying it out and sadly last since the food was very heavy

My experience was very very bad. The food hygiene standards are zero. I found insects in the food

QP was very dry, they forgot part of order, it was late coming out and cold. The blue cheese dressing was watery.

If I could give it a 0 I would. I'm handicapped, and went in and sat down near the door and an occupied table. A waitress went by 3x without a glance. I finally flagged her down to bring me a menu. And waited, and waited and more waiting. 20 minutes go by and a different waitress comes close but not a glance at my table. I tried to flag her down and she ignored me completely. 5 more minutes and I grabbed my cane and exited and yet still not a single glance. I drove to another restaurant to eat. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Sat us down at a table in a section that seemingly had no server for a birthday dinner. We waited for 25 minutes but didn’t even get silverware or napkins, much less our food or drink order lol. Not even a single person to check in or let us know what was happening. Left because it was a waste of time. Happy Birthday to me! 😒

We had called for a wait time for a party of 9 on a Friday night and we were told it was about a 5-10 minute wait. Ended up waiting longer than 30 minutes. We were told it was another 10 minutes after checking in. Turns out they had sat 2 people at the 10 person table when there was clearly 2-3 free booths next to them. We can understand restaurants get busy during dinner time but poor service and management like that made us leave and probably affected other parties as well.
