While out running errands, the hubby said he wanted a cheesesteak. Googled this place because the first thing I saw was they had garlic fries! The price is reasonable they have seating inside and outside. It is a small location, menu selection was amazing! The young man taking our orders was knowledgeable about what they offered and what went well together. The gentleman on the grill was friendly cooked everything to perfection! We will be visiting again!

Customer service is friendly & kind! The staff is fantastic! Been patronizing weekly since Theo opened this location. I always order the super mushroom cheesesteak with provolone cheese & add jalapenos. Consistent flavors, extremely tasty & filling. Don't forget to order the onion rings!

However, this place is very clean and the building has a fresh and clean look. There is not much seating inside, but there are a couple of nice tables outside. I ordered a super size cheese steak sandwich with provolone cheese, onions, and hot peppers. The bread was so fresh and delicious. I'm glad I gave this place a chance, and will definitely be back for more! This is gonna be my main spot for sure!

Great cheese steaks. Fries are tasty. Chicken Teryaki rice bowl (not pictured) was good but the broccoli was raw instead of sauteed with the other veggies. Seemed like it was an afterthought. Still very good. The large cheese steaks with a side of fries (regular and curly) was perfect when cut in half and shared for two. Nice cook. Small accommodations inside the restaurant. Very cozy. Will definitely come again!

The place is pretty small so be ready to wait outside for your order to maintain social distancing. To no fault of their own, I wish parking was a little easier, maybe I'd stop in more often if it was easy to dash inside. Everything was cooked to perfection. Coming from the north east to California, I know a good cheesesteak and this one was pretty yummy!

Finally I ordered a mushroom cheese steak with provolone tonight on door dash, and boy it was very, very good. The bread was soft and tight but not mushy. The cheese was distributed nicely. The steak and mushrooms were hot and with the right texture. I'll be eating here again.

Great shop! Sandwiches were delicious! Only downside is the shop is very small. If you can, order for take out. Staff were very polite.

The service was very friendly and the food delicious. There are many options to choose from and I had a hard time deciding. I am here visiting the area so will definitely go back to try something different.

Great example of comfort food. Peices were reasonable and the staff friendly. Definitely a go to spot for classic philly cheese steak as well as innovative takes on a classic dish. Definitely not a great dine in option as the restuarant is extremely small.

I was craving a Philly cheesesteak I got exactly a Philly cheesesteak very delicious definitely will try again will go again , I got recommended by a hotel receptionist in Alameda. I loved it , try the hangover ✨ definitely a cool place to grab to go. Don’t Uber eat go pick it up .

The sandwiches taste good but they dont fill you up. There pricey but it mostly bread not enough meat. The customer service is blow average too. The workers seem unhappy with life.

I'm a fan of cheesesteaks so I thought I would try this out. The cheesesteaks aren't bad per se, but I would have hoped for more meat than what was on my sandwich (especially for the price). Also, if you order here be ready to wait for a while. I would recommend the spicy chicken - that was probably the best one that we ordered.

I've had alot of cheese steaks , and this place just didn't do it for me. The spices weren't quite right and the type of bred they use just isn't the right kind for a cheesesteak. And most cheesesteak places serve steak fries and not shoe string fries.

Came in here on a Sunday evening after swimming at the recommendation of my cousin. I was really craving a cheese steak. The shop itself was really small but there's plenty of street parking out front. There was only one person working but it was a little loud inside. I ordered Theo's cheesesteak, curly fries, and 10 piece wings. After a 10 minute wait my food was ready. The guy gave me regular fries instead of curly. I told him and he showed me my receipt and it was marked as regular fries. I guess he didn't hear me well but somehow got everything else right? I let it go. I get home and open up my food. The cheesesteak was 8 inches. It barely had any meat inside, very little cheese. The meat itself was cooked really well and seasoned properly but it was the most disappointing cheesesteak I've ever had. There was more bread than meat to give you an idea. The fries were decent and were very close to McDonald's fries. Lastly the chicken wings okay but were definitely overcooked, and possibly in old oil. They were not seasoned either. A Chinese food place would make better wings frankly. For almost $30 I was not impressed at all. Overall, would not recommend Theo's for a cheesesteak. Go to The Cheesesteak Shop or Jersey Mike's; better quality and quantity.

Good taste, seriously skimpy portions. We ordered this for delivery from Uber Eats, and we paid for double meat on both sandwiches because I planned on not eating the bread. Well I guess it's a good thing we did because I think otherwise think I would have had an empty sandwich. I mean there was barely anything in there. Seriously disappointed in what I got for what I paid.

My order was missing the onion rings, and my cheesesteak was supposed to be a double, but was only a single and we were charged $53.00 for 2 cheesesteaks 2 onion rings and 1 drink. Very disappointing. My cheesesteak was dry and it had no cheese on it! I won't be going back. The cashier did give me the other order of onion rings when I brought it to her attention.

I came here looking for steak fries where they usually come with cream,white cheese,tomato etc but they only gave me a bowl of regular fries with cheese and a really chopped steak and salty you should read other reviews about their food begin too salty was expecting something better for 13$

Gross ! Place was filthy and floor was oily. Workers wernt helpful at explaining menu at all. Way overpriced for the quantity and quality received. Sandwich was lacking meat and flavor. Save your money and go to the Cheesesteak shop in Castro Valley instead.

Very good food, I come here 2-3 times a week on average but the customer service is atrociously horrible, I’ve let it beyond me because the food was great, but recently I tried to call to place an order and they forgot about me and leaving the line on for 8 minutes. On other occasions I place orders and some of the people on the line aren’t even familiar with their shop’s menu 😐. Won’t be coming here no more.

I received the 30$ meal witch is totally insane price, just to open it up and see it’s soggy and wet , everything that I had asked for wasn’t there, I payed extra for items and never received it. I got a regular Chees steak sandwich today, and it was disappointing. The onions were missing, there was no mayo, and the whole thing tasted flat and dry. Overpriced for 12 dollars. I didn't try any other sandwiches, but after this experience I won't come back. The one good thing to mention is that the service is friendly and fast.

Nobody here at 5:30PM on a Wednesday. Would be nice if they updated their store hours letting people know they are closed.

It was weird They weren’t as friendly after I paid and received my food. I was praying it was great just wasn’t close and for the value? I was robbed. Good luck brothers just can’t do it.

Went during hours posted, and the place was closed with no notice and no answer on the phone. I see this place does this pretty often according to other reviews. The place claims to provide the best cheesesteak in the bay, but they seem to not provide any at all. Shame.
