Nice little mom and pop taco shop. Friendly. Clean. Fast. Interesting decor. Great service. And pretty good tasting food at good prices. If you got friends from out of town and need something quick, take them here. It's a little slice of Mexico in San Marcos.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Hands down one of the best mexican restaurants in North County, with amazing service and incredible quality. I ordered quite a big meal and was instantly orgasmed in the mouth when I dug in. Authentic taste and authentic quality, very satisfied with the server and overall atmosphere. 5/5 experience

Great little family Mexican place. They will customize your order if requested. Tamales ala carte. I’m in heaven. Tacos were good as well. My wife enjoyed her non-spicy chicken macOS. It had tons of meat. This place is worth discovering.

Great food especially tamales. Service with a smile. Love nachos huge amount. Burritos are good but very messy. Pico de gilo is delicious. Prices are incredible. You can take 👨👩👦 and bring them happily feed with money left in you pockets.

The staff here is very nice. The food is great and the salsa is very tasty. We had the kids carne asada burrito and a tostada taco and beans. Would recommend these to eat.

I'm not crazy about their taquitos because they use ground beef and rice. I gave four stars cause they have the best salsa and I love their breakfast burritos and they have the best beans. They also have some of the best customer service.

I have been coming here since I was 3 or 4 years old. My father and mother would takes us here to eat. I now have a family of own and bring them to eat at Nachos. I recommend everyone to try this place it's flavor hasn't change in the many years I have been visiting. I usually have the Carne Asada Torta , with a vuelve a la vida cocktail. Or maybe the 7 mares soup. Their sopes are amazing seriously go now it's as good as im saying!! Get there or be square definitely dirty doper approved!!

Staying at the Lakehouse Resort and had a craving for Mexican food. We searched for local Mexican food in San Marcos and found this gem in a local strip mall. We Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to indulge in delicious, flavorful, authentic, homemade Mexican food. The food especially the homemade salsa (behind the counter), flan, horchata, and street tacos were so good. But what really made his experience so nice was the friendly face behind the counter tonight that closed the shop on March 21 2016. we never got your name but thank you for making us feel welcome in your restaurant.

My girlfriend and I tried the Machaca burrito, Fluatas, Chicken Sopas, and Horchata. Food was so fresh, warm, and colorful in homage to the Mexican flag! Complementary hospitality with chips and salsa upon dine-in. I would give the whole menu a try!

I ordered Garlic Shrimp plate that came with a salad, rice, refried beans and guacamole besides a pan fried jalapeno and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. You also get pico de Gallo, green or red salsa on the side. The food was phenomenal and the personel was friendly and courteous. I had the cinnamon sugar cookies as well as the chocolate ones and they are also some of the best I have ever had. I am so pleased! Why go to a sub par place when you can get the real deal with no waiting in line!!!!

It exceeded our expectations! Recently ordered catering for a special event. My guests expressed positive feedback and wanted to know more about the restaurant. Everything was delicious, the meat (grilled Carne Assada and Carnitas) was very good and juicy. They made sure our meal was warm and very well organized with exceptional service! I believe Nacho's Taco Shop is a restaurant that should be encouraged by the community, they deserve our support.

Amazing customer service family friendly and family operated business with amazing food and extra special service for every customer. They give our great salsas and chips if you dine in and they know how to make every customer feel at home!!! Food was pretty good, though the portions were a bit small and the carnitas had too much fat for my taste (personal preference). Salsa was good.

Good food overall! Very good 7 mares soup & chicken fajita! However, they need some improvement on the chicken & beef stews, too watered down! The fried rice is just boiled down with water, no tomato sauce! Very courteous personnel, except for one noisy employee!

Bland tasteless food. Too expensive, not worth my limited income. Chicken was Way OLD. Like, how dare they serve something that should be thrown away?

Was so disappointed in food. Ordered #2 combo plate, rellano and enchilada. Both were awful; meat in enchilada tasted sour and possibly spoiled. Rellano was a hard glob with slab of unmelted cheese on top. Both were served just barely warm with white rice and a bit of salad with green sauce that resembled guacamole. Sure wish I had gone to the restaurant others are raving about!

Extreme Black MOLD!!! My throat closed up when I was ordering and when I walked over and looked at the ventilation it was covered in black mold and water damage on the ceiling. The whole upper ceiling is most likely covered in black Mold meaning your food is getting covered in mold spores. One of the worst reactions to mold I’ve ever had and it was within 30 seconds of going in. I did eat my breakfast burrito and it was not good especially for $10. The lady was nice.
