Superb mom and pop resturant in San Marcos thriving with loyal customers. The food remains delicious over the years and service always friendly. Prices have gone up a tad, but the portions are huge and enough for two. Portions remain generous and the food. Menu has been updated serving Ramon 😋 You get what you pay for- yummy!

All around 5-stars! The atmosphere was great! This place is the spot that locals frequent and the sushi chefs seems to know everyone! Or maybe they are just that welcoming. We got the dinner plate with 2 options-we got the beef and salmon, came with a miso soup and a salad. We also ordered the popcorn lobster roll and the yellow tale roll both rolls were tasty. The popcorn lobster roll was topped with a hushpuppies-type balls that were very different but still tasty. My partner also got the blood orange tap beer and he loved it. A very welcoming place with delicious food! Highly recommend.

After seeing some good reviews I had an opportunity check this place out. It was buzzing on a Friday night, but we scored a table right away. Service was attentive, menu was packed with special rolls, price was good and everything we ordered was delicious. The sushi nigiri was fresh and the portions were generous. I’m looking forward to returning soon.

This is my favorite Sushi place in all of San Diego county! They have great roles, great service, and great rice*. (For those true sushi connoisseurs, you will know what Im talking about). I live in by SDSU and drive all the way up, just to eat here. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyed our visit here! We were greeted at the door, and brought to our table, with no waiting. Our server was very attentive, as were the other servers if they saw a plate needed clearing, or a drink needed refilling. Our meal was served with very little wait time. Everything-from the appetizer to the main meal- was absolutely delicious! There is a lot of food with each roll. The Sashimi combo was very fresh. The atmosphere was very friendly. I would definitely come here again. I would also recommend it if you’ve never been! Great little sushi restaurant!

Restaurant looks cozy and inviting, surprisingly busy for 2 PM, kind of loud. Stuff super fast and friendly, not pushy, just the way we like it. We didn't like the lunch special sashimi, but baked scallops were so gooood that we're definitely looking forward our next visit.

I was craving sushi and stumbled upon this place with a few friends. We were not disappointed! Great service, delicious rolls, price was fair. The server recommended a few rolls, 2 which I picked and they were super good. One friend ordered the salmon and was exquisite, while another ordered the ramen and was also delighted. Will be back!

The food was really yummy and looked and tasted fresh. All the servers were so kind . Totally recommend this place!!!

Service was 5-stars. The staff was amazing. Atmosphere was very upbeat and pleasant. Good vibes all around. Unfortunately, the sushi was tainted. It was going well until I bit down and got a fishbone. I was weary of eating anymore after that happened. The server was quick to resolve the issue. I chose to have another dish made. We weren't charged for the tainted and replacement dishes. The sushi overall was OK. I did enjoy the cucumber roll and nude roll. Honestly, not sure if hubby and I would come back.

Great sushi and a nice atmosphere but staffing was horrible. We had an entire meal without an actual service. The hostess took our order, someone random dropped off the food and we had to chase someone down for our check. I hope it improves as it’s a really popular spot.

Its is with much disappointment im writing this review. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT. It was the worst thing ever. Ordered a bento box luch special to go. When i got home it was disgusting. The salad looked like it was days old and the rice was super hard. My dog got the salmon and rice. Super bummed cause the place is actually really good if you eat there.
