Solid Panera, competent staff, kiosk ordering available and as always with Panera, good, heathy (depending on what you order) and fresh food options. I never leave unsatisfied. Yum! Big fan of the frozen caramel + greek salad + broccoli cheddar/tomato soup for a solid lunch & desert.
Pretty good every time we go. Occasionally behind on scheduled pick up order times if they're low on staff or just slammed with orders, but that's expected. They still manage to get the orders correct like 99% of the time.
I have been going to Panera bread for quite awhile. The new management is great and doing a amazing job. There is a very noticeable difference in the quality of performance. The new management is very friendly and keep the atmosphere enjoyable wanting me to come back often.
I love Panera, so it's tough for me to give anything other than a five star review. The food is slightly overpriced in my opinion, but I like their menu so much that I'm willing to pay the few bucks extra. This location has a speedy drive through and a fair amount of outdoor seating. Busy location near the college. Good atmosphere for a chain restaurant.
Food is excellent. I adore the French onion soup!! Some day's it's all I need And then the tuna fish sandwich is unbelievable. I know it sounds weird in this day when all sort-of combos are popular but the tuna is real 👍.
Was there to pick up food during the lunch rush today and all I can say is these workers deserve more credit. Manager apologized for the delay to everyone waiting, personally handed everyone their order. My order was correct and delicious even though there was a lot going on. Good team going there.
Panera Bread (Vestal) is a great place to eat! Indoor and outdoor seating and drive-thru and pick up and delivery options. Healthy fast food with a great environment, friendly staff and conveniently located. If there's ever a mistake, they're quick to make it right. Awesome menu with lots of pictures and great food, mostly sandwiches, soups, salads, bread and baked goods. If you eat here much as I do ,their reward system is definitely worth signing up for as they give you a dollar or 2 off or free item every couple purchases it seems. They closed for a week once cuz someone tested positive for corona so I feel good knowing they're following guidelines and doing what they need to do to keep people safe and healthy. (Some places like Walmart and McDonald's never seem to report cases or close and have the most traffic.) Usually my order is correct and fast .Prices are reasonable for healthy food and it's convenient to order to go or a nice place to dine alone or with friends inside or outside is a nice environment and conveniently located. Often busy but orders move right along and it's always been clean when I've been inside. They used to have a few more drink options and a couple I really liked that haven't been available lately that I hope they'll get back soon but they have a couple non dairy smoothie options that I like and are great too. My most frequented food stop for the past year or so. I highly recommend if you want a more healthy fast food option.
The early morning crew does a great job and has people they serve everyday. Maybe some of these reviewers should treat restaurant workers as people and not their servants. If the food is too expensive there are plenty of fast food alternatives on the Vestal Pkwy. Stop whining.
The people that work there always greet you coming g the door. The staff is always very friendly. The Saint Louis bread company has come a long way. Many college students and older adults enjoy going there
Waitress came outside to state my order was ready because I never came to the counter, and she helped me carry it out. Thank you! Food was amazing.
Panera is one of my favorite lunch stops, but sadly I don't go there enough! I love the pasta bowls, they have some of the best broccoli cheddar soup, and the atmosphere inside is nice, although sometimes can be a bit loud. Prices are a little high, but this isn't your ordinary fast food joint.
Stopped in today at lunch hour with a college soccer team. Was able to put the order in an hour ahead and everything was ready right when we arrived. Very smooth process, extremely friendly staff that were helpful from start to finish. Highly recommend this Panera!!
Went to the new JC location recently. Won't be back no one was friendly atmosphere is no good compared to vestal. I went to Vestal after an appointment on thursday 12/7 at 715 in the morning. When I arrived one young lady waited for me to get to the door and held it open for me. When I went inside and ordered the other young lady told me to go ahead and sit down she would bring me everything because I have a cane currently. I watched these two girls take care of so many people and still found time to go out and spread salt on the walk to boot. These 2 girls were the most caring friendliest girls I have come across in a restaurant setting in a long time. Thank you for restoring my belief in mankind in our area. The coffee and food was excellent too. I will travel to go back here again...
We had a quick lunch between appointments. They offered electronic, no-contact ordering, which was awesome as it meant no having to wait in line or wait to pay prior to getting your food. In addition, our order was ready in less than 7 minutes which enabled us to enjoy our meal and our time together without feeling rushed. The staff was very friendly and attentive to making sure that tables were sanitized for everyone’s safety and connivence for seating. It was a perfect place for lunch when you have little time.
Delicious, as always! It was pricey for lunch though!! We did order full size sandwiches, drinks and added a pastry each for $0.99. Sandwiches came out fast and temperature hot! Very tasty. I got the roast beef and white cheddar - very cheesy!! My husband got the chicken avocado sandwich. There was lots of pulled chicken and plenty of avocado. There was an employee dedicated to cleaning and sanitizing. He wiped tables and chairs and spent time cleaning the drink station. I really appreciated his efforts. We will be back.
Amazing¡ Soups, Sandwiches stuff prepared in their bakery everything is so delicious and full of taste. It's clean very well managed. You can eat in or take out. Parking is available. What more do you want:)
Food was amazing! My soup 🍲 tasted so yummy broccoli cheddar 🧀. And my sandwich tasted so good steak and cheese. Yummy 😋 today when I went my soup bowl was not very full for a bowl of soup that was almost 10.00
Visiting here and this meal has been one of the best we've experienced in a Panera bread. Coffee was excellent much better than many cafe house coffee. Salad was like a picture as was the sandwich. Unlike Florida the staff brought our order to the table. The place was packed ! Yet had our order very quickly. To the staff...great job thank!
We had a little hiccup with our order but the District Manager was there and what a wonderful business woman!!! She made sure it was corrected and sent us on our way very satisfied.Great experience!
We were eating outside. Our buzzer wasn't alerting us that our food was ready so after waiting a long time we went in to see what's up. Turns out the battery was dead so our soup/pizza was cold from sitting so long in the pickup area. We were given a whole new order plus they boxed up the cold pizza to take home. And we were given a container of 4 chocolate chip cookies and apples. That was above and beyond nice!
At 1st glance it seems to be a fairly average representation of a Panera Bread. Food was good, employees were polite. I will warn that especially on weekends it gets pretty busy and it shares a parking lot with Moe's so parking may be at a premium as well. When we got our order my parents noticed they didn't get their deserts (my wife and I didn't order any) after they finished eating my wife took the receipt to the counter and not only did they immediately produce my parents deserts but they gave us 2 free cookies to apologize for missing them the 1st time. Of course a couple chocolate chip cookies isn't anything grand but in this case it really is the thought that counts and pushed them up to 5 stars. It doesn't have to be grand or expensive, recognizing a mistake and offering more than words is something worth noting.
Excellent salad! Great menu, but we were in the mood for just salad. It was filling, fresh, loaded with healthy choices, (I got Chicken), and came with a roll. Service from the young woman who took our order was also excellent.
I love our Vestal Panera, especially during the summer when students are gone and you can sit on the patio... but the management has to bring a few things back -- Lemon Drop Cookie, Cranberry Orange Muffin, Bear Claw - I cannot believe these were discontinued! These pastries are the essence of American identity, you cannot discontinue it.
Haven't been to Panera in awhile but it was fantastic, The service n the food amazing. They actually seemed like they cared. Went back again for another dinner with my Son and was greeted by Clay and he was extremely helpful with our order. Just a great Person. We will be back.
I’m not sure if their leadership looks at these but I just went through the drive thru at the vestal parkway location and received the absolute best service! I work in the food industry and when I left the drive thru box I thought “wow, how do we get our drive thru experience to be this good?” I pulled up to the window and the same gentlemen, Callum, greeted me there. He was just so pleasant and helpful and genuinely interacting with me. Kudos and thank you to Callum for making my night!
Most times they get my order right. Fortunately, 1 time when they made a mistake with the wrong sandwich I tried it out anyways and it was more delicious than the one I originally ordered, lol! Another time, an ingredient was missing and another time there was an added ingredient that I didn't want. When I called to complain they apologized and offered a coupon. I didn't want my complaint to be brushed off as someone looking for a freebie so I declined their offer and explained that I enjoy their restaurant and just want them to be mindful each time. Since the order was placed online, they already had my information and voluntarily sent out a coupon for a free pick any 2 deal. That was nice of them but more importantly, they haven't made any mistakes since then.
I really enjoy the service and environment here. Both myself and my boyfriend enjoy coming here to work while ordering something to drink and eat. The people here are friendly in service. There are always people around and we easily stay here for several hours without feeling lonely. We do enjoy this restaurant.
This Panera is home to the best bacon turkey bravo I have ever had. I asked for extra sauce and boy did they deliver. Incredible, life altering sandwich
The food was excellent! I have allergies and they were very careful with my food, packaging all my food in separate containers
Sometimes a wait but the food is always hot and tasty. Never a messy sandwich and soups are always hot.
Stopped in for breakfast at 8am for breakfast on a weekday. Was dead so my order was ready pretty quick. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. The dining area is about mid sized with plenty of seating but very few private areas if you want to be secluded compared to other Panera Bread's.
The Mac was good as always, but my flatbread pizza was undercooked slightly, and my wife's soup was honestly not the best. Not usually a complainer, but for thirty-six bucks, dang!
Panera always has pretty good food. Love the bagels, soup, mac, and flatbreads. The prices are incredible though. A simple lunch can cost you almost $30! A Bummer, considering that some things (many things?) Like the macaroni and cheese are just prepackaged and microwaved
It's a Panera, over-priced, under portioned. One of the kids said why is the (soup) bowl so empty now when we got it? The whole picking up food near a soda fountain/station thing doesn't flow well either. Overall, not a fan, 4 stars was generous.
This was my first time ordering from here. Wanted something different. And i was suprised at how good it actually was. The steak sandwich was very tasty and the broccoli mac n cheese was great. Tasted like a solid cheddar and broccoli soup. But so good. Just wish i got more of it. But the sandwich are almost double the size of what you would consider normal. So well worth the cost. Never thought healthy food could be good. My only complaint is serving size of the mac n cheese. Should be bigger for a large. Now if only i could get door dash to deliver faster!
I ordered on the app to dine in and everything was ready very fast. The only thing was they gave me chips instead of the apple I ordered and the women working was rude when I kindly asked if I could switch them out. She stared at me annoyed for a few seconds and then slammed the apple on my plate and raised her voice at me saying that she can’t take the chips back. Everything else about this location including other employees is great. Just had a bit of a problem with this one worker
Love the establishment. Vestal remains one of my favorites due to staff. Usually friendly especially cashiers. They make a returning customer feel welcomed! Speed of service is not consistent but I still like it there. What I notice the most is that the self serve stations at other Panera Restaurants are usually well kept. This one does not meet that "standard". The food quality I say is great, of course every now and then it does seem as if the food preppers do not always fully read what was sent to their screens accurately but do not let that sway you from enjoying your meal. It is good regardless... Just not what you "exactly" wanted.
I love panera but last times the portions were small. I think they were running out of bread and cut it all smaller. Just not right.
Quick lunch today. Had a cup of turkey chili with a baguette, and a bread bowl with broccoli cheddar. Both were served quick and were good. No complaints. Restaurant was very crowded and service was good considering the worker shortages everywhere.
Always enjoyed coming here since it opened. But prices go up there, we go less. The foods are still good but $28 for a large and small mac and cheese, 2 little baguettes, and 2 coffees- ouch. Sadly, we agreed. This was probably our last time eating there.
Very nice and clean store. There seemed to be a lot of folks milling about behind the counter but only 1 person servicing walk-in customers. A very nice person (clearly working hard) and efficient once she got to me (I just wanted a cup of coffee) but was a bit of a head scratcher for me as I was waiting. All and all, it was good.
They were out if almond milk for coffee for at least 2 days and only had milk or low fat milk as substitute and cant do that if lactose intolerant
Ordered takeout using Panera Bread app. Soup and sandwich via pick two selection. Broccoli cheese soup and half Mediterranean veggie sandwich. At pickup asked for Tabasco sauce and mustard packs. Order was ready timely in about 15 minutes afterwards. Not busy no wait in drive thru Saturday late afternoon 2:56 pm..sandwich was done good asked for no feta cheese on app but I guess it didn’t work or preparer didn’t read order , anyway took one star off . Since didn’t go inside dinning room today I just gave one less star based on my last sit down visit experience for lunch with an associate .. Enough parking during off office lunchtime as they share parking with Moe’s Mexican food store . Easy on and off vestal parkway going east/ west
Review: Panera Bread Oatmeal and Bagel Breakfast I recently had the pleasure of trying Panera Bread's oatmeal and bagel breakfast, and I must say it was a delightful morning treat. Here's my review of these two menu items: Oatmeal: Panera Bread's oatmeal exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and quality. Served piping hot, the oatmeal had a creamy and comforting texture that was just right. It was not overly thick or watery, striking the perfect balance. The oats were cooked to perfection, maintaining a slight chewiness without being mushy. What I particularly appreciated about Panera's oatmeal was the customizable toppings. They offered an array of choices such as fresh fruit, nuts, and granola, allowing me to personalize my bowl according to my preferences. I opted for a combination of sliced bananas, dried cranberries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, which elevated the flavors and added a delightful sweetness. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied and energized for the day ahead. Bagel: Panera Bread is renowned for its bagels, and the one I tried for breakfast was a testament to their reputation. The bagel had a perfectly crisp and golden exterior, giving way to a soft and chewy interior. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the savory nature of the bagel. Panera offers a variety of bagel flavors, and I opted for the classic plain option. It was a versatile choice, allowing me to pair it with a variety of spreads, from cream cheese to avocado. The bagel was substantial and filling, making it a great choice for a satisfying breakfast. Overall, Panera Bread's oatmeal and bagel breakfast is a winning combination. The oatmeal was deliciously creamy and customizable, while the bagel provided a satisfying and authentic experience. Whether you're looking for a warm and comforting breakfast or a quick and convenient meal on the go, Panera Bread delivers quality and flavor. I highly recommend giving their oatmeal and bagel breakfast a try.
A great panera experience. Its no fancy artisan place, but the sandwiches, soups, salad, and bread are all good. Service is great and any errors have always been fixed. Once I didn't realize my cookie nag was on one end and dropped it. It was tragic, but they immediately offered me another cookie. Great place
It’d be nice if the workers put a little more effort into working and making sure all orders are to par. But it seems to be a childish work environment from the employees as they seem to care more about laughing and joking with their colleagues. a number of times I came in had items missing or an incorrect order. Great place but needs to be a bit more seriousness and attention to detail
Honestly kind of ridiculous. I ordered my food at 5:30 for 6:15 and I come in and it took 25mins for me to get my online order. I even got an email saying my order was ready when it wasn't even brought out yet. I said something about it to the the staff and it's still taking FOREVER. Staff is nice and everything but wait time is insane. This has happened the past few times coming here. I guess if you want food plan on waiting 25mins or longer for your food.
Food was just okay and too expensive. Bread was a little tough and too thick for my taste. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.
I've been to Panera a few times but not this location. Best thing at this location is outdoor seating and being able to order at kiosk. Every table was dirty when i arrived and bathroom was not very clean. Service is friendly though. Food is better than some fast food but still feels not very fresh.
Panera has excellent food and would get 5 stars from me if it wasn't so expensive. For two of us and a baby it cost over $60 for dinner. It's insane how expensive soup and sandwiches are here. Love the rapid online pick up option.
A group of four met for dinner on a Tuesday around 6:30pm. The location was clean. The cold drink area had multiple glasses of some liquid setting on the counter along with two pitchers of some liquid. Only one cold beverage available besides the soda machine. It took a bit longer than normal to receive 3 of our orders that placed on the kiosk at the same time. The soup and salads measured up to the normal expectations. BUT... The chicken salad sandwich....OH NO! What we received was not chicken salad! A few pieces of chicken with our bread, lettuce and tomato. I've unfortunately never received a satisfying amount of a main filling in my Panera sandwiches, but this was really bad. So Sad😥
I have been to this location numerous times and I would say overall the food is pretty good although a little pricey. The issues with this place are tied to attention to detail and inaccurate app times. For the attention to detail, they have messed up our order several times including wrong or missing items. For the pick up times, it indicates around 10-15 minutes but has taken over 30 minutes on several occasions. Seems excessive for the type of food they serve. In addition, if they run out of an item you ordered, they set your order aside and have no idea there is an issue with it.
Very friendly crew even though they were extremely busy. The only negative ordered the French onion soup didn't get my croutons and they baguette was just thrown in the bag. I feel it should be In its own baggie because it is touching the outside of containers that everyone has been touching so your bread now isn't edible.
I tried the new vegetable soup and was pleasantly surprised. Rich in flavor with a generous variety of veggies. I'm not sure if the stock used to make it is vegetarian or not. Might be beef based. I paired it with a half sandwich which wasn't as good as I remember. It wasn't note worthy. Apple turkey something. Really that forgettable. The bread wasn't fresh for the sandwich but the roll for the soup was deliciously soft and fresh. I regret not just getting a large bowl of the veggie soup. Great on a cold day...just skip the overpriced half sandwich next time. Quick service at the drive through on a busy weekday at noon.
I have enjoyed Panera for years, but this visit was disappointing. There were three of us. One person got two sandwiches instead of soup and sandwich, and the other two were not impressed with our food. I got a Greek salad with almost no feta cheese. The atmosphere was pleasant because it was after the lunch rush. The outdoor seating was good. But I don't know if I will return.
I usually come here for dinner when I want to be lazy. But I came here for breakfast and by 10am they had very limited bagels. But I got a bacon egg and cheese, EXTRA bacon…. Four half cut pieces that are actually two is extra bacon? I went to the Panera near front st and their extra bacon was actually extra. When all you want is a nice breakfast when you’re lazy and spend money and in the end…. You’re just reminded why you don’t want to spend money on food that should be better at home since you’re paying money for a service.
This Panera is just OK. I hadn't been to one in some years and really had a taste for the Asian salad. Unfortunately, they don't carry it anymore. They also also don't have just a simple garden salad (which my husband wanted). He opted for just decaf coffee, which was definitely NOT hot. The cream container was out of cream. So I had to request some. I ended up ordering a Ceasar salad with chicken and soup. Nothing to write home about. Half way through my salad I noticed I had no chicken. Lol! The chicken soup I could have gotten from a can. It just didn't wow me. I remember the shelves being filled with fresh breads. But, not here. The experience was just OK. Don't think I'll have any craving to return though.
The food has been good. But I've had two disappointing experiences in a row at this Panera Bread location. I ordered a full-size sandwich but only received half—despite paying for the full portion. On a previous order, they completely left out the cookie I paid for. Mistakes happen, but when it's back-to-back errors without any follow-up or correction, it becomes frustrating. I expect better quality control and attention to detail from a chain restaurant like Panera.
Is every Panera this slow? I highly recommend ordering, then go next door to Moe's and get something to eat while you wait for your order of you are really hungry. Be prepared to wait after you return from your meal at Moe's Update: Still slow as ever, At least staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good.
We stopped here on the way home from vacation. We've stopped at this location before and had an amazing visit. This time unfortunately, was not as great. My wife ordered the Frontega Chicken Panini, but they were almost out of every bread entirely to make it on. She was given a choice of having it on a baguette or tomato basil bread. We ordered for my 7 yr old the white cheddar Mac and cheese which was our entire reason for going there. Happy kids seem to make a trip go better. The whole ordering process took a little over 5 minutes because every time my wife ordered something, they had to go and see if they had it. Most times the answer was no. The food took a while, but honestly, that was completely understandable. The fact that employees are hard to come by is happening everywhere and businesses are suffering for it. When the food was ready I picked it up at the counter and brought it to my wife and son. Immediately she saw that my son did not get his white cheddar mac and cheese, but rather a grilled cheese. Went back inside, waited a few more minutes, and got him exactly what he wanted. I can not complain about my own meal because I got exactly what I had ordered, the Upick2 with Bacon Turkey Bravo and Summer corn chowder. It was very good. Afterwards I went it to order some bagels to take home. The cinnamon crunch is awesome for anyone who has not tried it. Unfortunately, there were about 5 couples in front of me. I stood in line for a little over 5 minutes without the line budging an inch. At which point I decided I'd rather just get back on the road and left. I do want to make it known that the employees they had working were very polite and working extremely hard to try and make everyone happy.
I can’t believe I just paid 15 bucks for a sandwich with one piece of meat and a piece of bread. The bread that I paid over a dollar for was smaller than my hand . They used to be my favorite place but they raised the prices and the quality of food went way down
I have always been a HUGE Panera fan. However, I was eating there the Tuesday evening before Thanksgiving when the fire alarm went off. Now it's understandable this wasn't the restaurants fault. However, we had just received our food and had to evacuate the building for 20 minutes and stand in the cold. Upon re-entering the restaurant not one employee came around and asked if they could warm up any of our food or offered us any sort of apology. At the very least....a complimentary baked good or some dessert would have gone over well. Very disappointed in the management that evening, and am not likely to return.
My wife and I just decided to stop frequenting this Panera due to their complete inability to consistently and properly assemble orders. Over the past 6 months, the quality control has gone completely out the window as far as order fulfillment at the drive-thru goes. From missing bread, to wrong items, to missing sandwiches altogether - we've had enough. The food itself tastes great, but be sure to check your entire order before using the drive-thru - they are definitely not about thorough quality control. With spending the kind of money that Panera charges, there should be absolutely no mistake in an order. Very disappointed.
Ordered on kiosk and waited 20 minutes for 3 sandwiches and 2 soups to go. We were wondering if an employee fell asleep or maybe they just took their sweet time . The food was ok but just a step above Oscar Mayer cold cuts. The only good things here are bakery items and drinks and soup. Not staff fault but supplies used are just not quality food.
I used to go there three times a week for my son. Yes...about 85% of the orders were wrong but it was convenient for curbside pickup. The lines are horrendous both inside and the drive thru, not to mention the employees are pretty rude...so is management by the way. Now that they stopped curbside pickup at this location, which is the only one in our area, I will not be returning. It just isn't worth it with wrong orders and a rude staff. I would rather go to Wegman's where they still do food orders for curbside pickup and their staff is always pleasant and your order is never wrong. Bravo Panera for helping me make this decision.
Just waited 7 minutes for the wrong bagel sandwich that cost 8 dollars and 4 cents .. I ordered bacon got ham and their ham sucks
This place always manages to get your order wrong or is missing something. For the amount of money you pay to dine or order from Panera, you’d expect better. I guess double checking a bag is just too much to ask for. It’s both a management issue for not holding their staff to a standard, but also staff accountability issue.
We ordered n they forgot my husband’s sandwich after ordering for a specific time, had to wait 15 more mins when we arrived and they forgot the sandwhich !!! How lazy. We drove 15 mins to our hotel had to go back and she made the sandwich Which took another 15 mins. No sorry no nothing . Poor slow service. And no this was during down time for them !!!!
Ordered a Berry Yogurt Parfait and spicy steak asiago bagel and two drinks. Both drinks the smoothie and Refresher tasted sour and unconcentrated my parfait had three little strawberries in it was half full with yogurt and tasted sour as well, the sandwich was good just cold and not fresh so the side of baguette was just thrown into the bag and when I received it it was hard as a rock. This is my first time ordering from Panera and I was severely let down tonight
Food was pretty good, not much on the sandwich but what was there tasted good. Overall experience was just confusing, seemed like none of the workers knew what was going on and the food took a good bit longer than expected
They have hiked the prices on things over and over to the point where it's not worth it to eat here any more. And I will not. Considering I've been a customer since the location opened, obviously it's not about the food. I can afford the food easily but can not reason why I would ever pay this much. There is no way prices hiked like this simply due to inflation or demand....
Now they ask for a tip in the drive through. And the people working think they deserve a tip and get offended if you dont leave one. When did fast food workers start deserving tips? Especially for drivethrough. No one tips me at my job and I provide you with heat and electricity. Wont be going back to any place that asks for a tip that isnt a waiter at a sit down restaurant!
Panera BREAD. Well, not for us. The bread for my son's sandwich? Nope, we don't have it. The chips for his side? Nope, all gone. The baguette for my side? No sir, that's bread, we don't stock bread here. I think 80% of the time I order here, which isn't very often because I can't get my ordered. Whoops, at the window just now, and they ran out of Bacon too. Un-freaking real...
My husband & I went through the drive through. We ordered two flatbread pizzas, a chicken cobb salad & a teriyaki chicken broccoli bowl. Food was not good at all & the price for the teriyaki chicken broccoli bowl was very high for a small amount ( approx 1& 1/2 cups) of food in which the chicken tasted rubbery & mushy & was too salty. I asked why so high in price for so little food & the worker I spoke to said it was" all portioned out ". When I asked if it was frozen she answered with a yes . I said ,"so it isn't fresh?" & she said ," no we get it frozen" The pizza crust was tough to eat & just not good .I called the manager & reported this to him & was told the chicken in the teriyaki bowl was frozen but the other ingredients were fresh. I can tell you it wasn't just the chicken that was frozen & we could taste the difference . The manager offered to provide us with a free meal on our next visit , I declined . Why would we ,at those high prices , return for a free meal of any kind not to mention the poor quality of the food. We had been to the same drive through in the past as well as eating in & food was good. But unfortunately this panera bread has gone down hill but their prices remain the same for poor quality food. Not worth the trip nor the price . Our date & time of visit was 3/29/2021 @ 4:35 pm. Our order # was 1386629. Will not go there again .
Not as advertised! This place has really slipped down in staff quality and cleanliness. Wife and I waited 30 minutes for our 40 dollar order until I went to counter to inquire about our food. First, no one knew where it was. Then a bearded young man who had been wrestling with a female employee told me to "chill out man" I explained I'm diabetic and needed to eat. But that was all fun and games to him. He proceeded to get ruder with each comment, basically blaming me for me food being late. We asked for a manager while young man ran off to the kitchen to hide with his girlfriend. Also observed an employee taking multiple breaks wearing his food service gloves and go back in the kitchen wo changing them. Yum! The floor around the tables was filthy with long term food debris. Meanwhile the staff stood around laughin and doing nothing. Won't be going back
We picked up a chicken noodle soup Saturday evening around 8:40 pm. When we reached home, to our surprise the soup contained no noodles and not a single piece of chicken. Just clear broth. We tried to call the manager before closing time, no one bothered to pick up the call. While in the store we witnessed one customer checking her phone/app order and complaining about missing items.
The way I watched josh marks (manager) speak to a doordasher yesterday was absolutely uncalled for. The gentleman was simply asking about the order he was waiting for. Josh had his hands in the guys face telling to get back and just stand there and wait. I understand the store was busy but using that tone just for asking a question. It’s our job to noifty customers of wait times when it comes to there orders. His work ethic and leadership of his staff was exceptional, but customer interaction was a hard zero!
Went in yesterday to get lunch and my food sat in the window forever because the girls were complaining on who need to make my lattee right in front of me. By the time I got my lattee it was ice cold. Service was horrible when trying to resolve the issue. Gave them a description of my order and the problems I faced. I contacted Panera customer service after spending 30 something dollars there they offer to give me a free soda. Lol what a joke. Never going back. Waste of money and service sucks
Paid $15 for a chicken sandwich. The size of a dollar menu chicken sandwich item from BK. Came with chips and no drink. Was the same quality you would get at a fast food restaurant. Inflation hit this place hard!
Was not happy when I opened up my order. My sandwich was squished and scrunched up. Not only that for only getting half of a sandwich I figured I'd get a decent portion at least since it's like 10 dollars? No my sandwich was the same thickness of a grilled cheese. Barley anything in it at all. It was bread and like a spread layer at most of chicken. And then the peice of baguette they gave me was stale. The only thing I liked in my order was a smoothly. This is my first time getting panara and I don't think I will again.
Terrible experience, ordered the macaroni and cheese bread bowl. Mac and cheese came out of a can and the bread bowl was hard as a plastic bowl. The order came separately. Mac and cheese in a container and the bread bowl in a bag. Nothing like advertised. I'll never go back. Friends and family also, will never go back.
They have all those young kids working in there and they don’t care about how their handle your food. Prices are too high to leave unsatisfied
I did drive thru because I needed to get somewhere in timely manner. Took me 20 minutes tk get through the order. Who ever was taking orders was horribly rude to the guy in front of me. I felt so bad for that customer. I got some chick to take my order. They didn't tell me my total before I got to window. Food was bland and burnt my tongue. I probably won't be back...
Ordered for pickup at 6:30pm, it said the food would be ready at 7:05pm. Arrived and waited until 7:50pm for my order. Extremely unacceptable to tell you at that moment when you arrive that they are backed up. I know it happens but the app should’ve reflected this and gave me an accurate pick up time, if they did I wouldn’t have ordered.
Just paid about 6.50 for a large hot Carmel latte. I usually get it at Dunkin but It was not on my way. Imagine sipping on a mixture of hot water, Carmel and milk. Very weak and no coffee taste at all. That’s what I got. Awful. I am a senior on a limited income and this was supposed to be a treat while I waited for my car inspection. Never again. Yuk
I asked to a bagel with cream cheese spread on it. And what do u get??...just a bagel with barely any cream cheese. Spread is only in the middle and nothing on the corners. I mean I can barely taste cream cheese. If I just wanted a bagel with no spread I would have asked for that.
We took family for dinner at Panera. Seven people, two ordered from the children's menu. The bill was $110+. They were out of stock on so many items. No baguettes. No pizza. No green tea. Many sandwiches were unavailable. We each found some small item to order as by the time we sorted out all the unavailable options it was too late for us to go anywhere else. Will never go again.
I don’t know what’s going on but every time I order at the vestal location my food is incorrect. They can never seem to get it right and i’m just annoyed. I used to work in food service myself so I have a certain level of empathy for the workers but it comes to a point where yall just aren’t paying attention to the orders coming in. Like please yall are literally getting paid to make my food the least you could do is make sure it’s correct not to mention how expensive one entree is 😭🙏🏻
No bread Panera, pitiful customer service. I’ve been to location number of times and a few weeks ago I went and they said they couldn’t give any bread with the soup because they were out. I asked if they could substitute the bread from the sandwiches for the soup side, but they said they couldn’t. They also had bread visible on racks, and when I asked about that they said that bread was for tomorrow not for today. I’m not sure what kind of Panera bread doesn’t have bread to serve with soup, but I don’t wanna go here anymore.
I ate here one time after pooping and did'nt wash my hands. I didnt know that I would get sick from not washing my hands. They should of told me to wash my hands . I Blame Greg for not explaining the importance of washing ones hands. Also throwing ice balls at the side of the building is not a good idea when big brother Justin is watching. Jake how's the farm?
1st time at this location . 2nd time ever trying to eat at a Panera Bread. It's been years so I figured I'd try again. My mistake. I ordered a chicken Greek salad . The full portion . It was $13 with a drink i spent $18. 🙄 what i got was a very hard piece of bread . . Very hard .. and a tiny salad with no chicken. I could barely find any feta cheese . Just alot of greens and tomatoes . Tried to call and they never answer their phone. There won't be a 3rd to any Panera Bread ever.
The Cobb Salad looked great in the photo on the website, so I decided to order it. Below is a comparison photo of what I ordered and what I got. They don’t even resemble each other. The last 6 times I ordered here, they didn’t get my order correct. It’s astonishing really. It’s not that hard to get a simple order correctly. They really don’t care. Forget to include one thing, forget to include the other, it’s literally something every time. I did call the store to speak with a manager, no return call. I then wrote to Panera website. While at first they seemed interested, they ended up sending a cut and past email to me that didn’t have anything to do with my particular problem. I surrender, six tries is enough. I’m done. I’m looking at these two photos (comparison of what I ordered and what I got) and the difference is shocking. No mention of this in their email to me. I own my own businesses. When a customer tells me they had a bad experience, I am grateful they took the time to let me know. If I don’t know something is wrong, I can’t fix it. So I appreciate it when they do. I let other businesses know when something is wrong. I never want anything free, and turn down any offers for that. My intentions of a complaint are not then confused with someone looking for something for free. I’m not Update.. it’s ten months later. I have chosen to continue to eat there.. usually take out and eat at home. Fifteen times in these ten months since I write the review, and not a single order has been correct. It’s astonishing really. Today, they left one sandwich out of our package. We are driving the five miles there and five miles back… not and “I’m sorry”… not a “Apologies for the inconvenience”.. not a refund for the sandwich (which I don’t ask for).. not a nothin.. they simply do not care.. they gave up long ago.
Waited for 25 mins for the order. Your management wouldn’t otherwise know because staff declared order completed within 20. Walked-in order placed at 5pm - the new flatbread and a pressed sandwich. Name lined up on the screen as the 3rd. Got food at 5:25pm. Around 5:20, our name moved from preparing to ready. It wasn’t ready. When we asked about the order, the two ladies at the counter said it was being repackaged for some ambiguous reasons. 5 mins after the name vanished from the board, our order was finally ready. During the wait, many dine-in and mobile orders appeared behind us got picked up. Food came with no single-packet silverware or napkins, we had to run back and ask for them. Nearly 30 mins of my life that will never get back. I would anticipate service be consistent across all order methods. No, a service-recovery bakery item won’t fix your process issues. It needs to be treated more systematically.
I am a member of Panera Bread and subscribed to their unlimited coffee plan. We were around Binghamton area and would like to pick up my daily coffee redemption at this location. The instruction on the app for curbside pickup is pressing “I am here” button and the staff would bring orders to the pick up point. However, after pressing the button and waiting for about 15 minutes, no one showed up so we went in to check what’s going on. The staff told us we need to fill in our cup to do the daily coffee redemption so it’s not available for curbside pickup. I think it’s totally fine to help myself to finish my order but there should be a more clear instruction on the app or someone should show up when we wait outside. The information on their app was totally misleading from the actual situation. It showed only curbside pickup available but it also opened for dine-in. I love their coffee and food due to the reasonable price and great portion. However, this location should definitely improve their customer service and updating the information on the app.
