Staff and management are friendly. Been coming hire for 13 years. They always try to make every order perfect and are always overly polite even if some customers are not. Oh ha the coffee is great too.:)

Love their dark roast. So much richer than Starbucks. Pretty standard scones, muffins, and coffee drinks. Not s lot of seating but they do have a few outside seats to enjoy on a nice day

Generally a good Peet's location. I've only been here a few times, I usually go to the one over on Bollinger, but next time I want to get work done from a coffee shop I think I'll give this one a go. The one on Bollinger has better outdoor seating though, it's not on the walkway. It seems to have a more relaxed atmosphere with a slightly less polite clientele. Not sure why the people who go here seem so different from one exit over to this one, but that's the feeling I get. That said the people behind the counter are nice, and I think that has a lot to do with the general vibe of the place. Like most Peet's they do a good, sometimes fairly good, cappuccino and a very good cup of drip coffee. They do better than some locations at getting things out to the customers in good time. Much better than the local SB when it comes to coffee quality, though not as many sweet drinks of which my son prefers.

MY 1 COMPLAINT IS THE STRAWS!!!! GET RID OF THE PAPER STRAWS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! THEY DON'T WORK, THEY'RE A TOTAL PAIN AND I MIGHT STOP GOING TO PETE'S BECAUSE OF THE STRAWS! BRING THE PLASTIC STRAWS BACK!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!

This place serves incredibly wonderful traditional Cappuccino , which I adore! But when I went today and asked for TC, they literally handed me half a cup or even less -roughly four sips. The woman behind the counter saw it and said, "That's how much they give." Since I visit there often, I know how much they give. She instructed the barista to make another cup of coffee, but I refused since I didn't like her response and didn't want to feel like I was getting it for free. Instead, she would have graciously accepted the mistake and i may have even said that’s ok and carried on.

Coffee is great and staff is friendly. However, ever since they started mobile ordering, in person patrons end up waiting for a long time while mobile orders are stationed for retrieval by people who haven’t even arrived yet. There should be a system in place to provide preferential service to customers who are actually on site.

It was coffee latte,with a dirty paper cup and mixed water with milk which you can see in picture. Starbucks is for a reason 👍

Waited 20 minutes for two Havana lattes while sat there and watched one person make coffee while the manager was taking inventory. Meanwhile the lobby is packed with people waiting for coffee.

My wife went into this San Ramon coffee shop about two o'clock today to buy a pound of coffee to be freshly ground. There was only one person ahead of her in line. The young woman at the counter took my wife’s order then asked her to wait. The employee said she would bring my wife the coffee when it was ready. Three or four more customers ordered after my wife. Finally the employee pulled the beans out of the drawer, but immediately stopped because she recognized another customer coming in the door. She began to chat with that man. Soon he pulled out his phone and began showing the employee pictures. After they finished looking at pictures, she took his order. At that moment, another employee came off break and finished my wife’s order. Basically, it took almost 15 minutes after my wife ordered to get her coffee because four customers were bumped ahead of her. Peet’s - you can do better.
