Used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant but something changed, I believe it's new owners and we have been disappointed both times we have eaten it recently.. Always forget to give you something, food tastes worse, everything is different, we will not eat here anymore, so sad, miss the old owners

I wouldn't even give them a star but I have too. Very over priced, stingy af with sauces, rices is very gummy and has no flavor, and egg rolls are disgusting. Won't eat here again!

Was a great place for 7 years. I did give them a 5 star review but felt the need to change it. It was the only place I would ever eat Chinese. The man and women that worked there day and night disappeared. I figured maybe they finally took some time off . I ordered food bit the Food was nasty. Went back again they still weren't there. Tried it again. Just gross. Went back a 3rd time. This time I asked where the other 2 people were. They said they aren't here anymore and said what you want to order. I said sorry nothing today and haven't went back.

Person attending counter was rude and complaining that it was busy. As she was ringing up my food she got a phone call. I was not paying attention since she was on the phone. She began to beat on the counter demanding that I pay but she hadn't given me a total. I gave her my card and told her that she was being rude. She questioned my order then asked me if I wanted my food or not. I said the order is fine but you are being rude. She then began to complain about how she was busy and if I needed my food or not. At that point I told her that I could go somewhere else since she was so busy. Came to China Wok across the street and the same order was cheaper $2 less and the people are nice.

UPDATE: WHAT HAPPENED???...We had such a good experience our 1st time that we ordered again tonight thinking we'd get the same good food.....UMM NO...it was like day and night..food was DISGUSTING. The white rice was mushy and very undercooked, my Szechuan shrimp was exploding in sauce all over the bag and just gross, boneless spare ribs were slimey, and the pork fried rice had what tasted like HAM in it..huge pieces of chopped onion, it looked like someone who cant cook, cooked our food this time. Total different experience from our previous...will not be ordering from here again. First review: This was our first time ordering from here. The gentleman who took the order was very polite and helped us take care of a price confusion. The food arrived around 45 minutes after we order. It LOOKED and TASTED amazing. Hands down the best Chinese food in Sanford right now and we have had them all. The pork fried rice was the best we've ever had, tasty and full of egg and veggies. Portions were huge. Egg rolls were perfect. This will be where we order from now on. Don't change anything!

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. We ordered delivery, they said 20 minutes and it actually took almost an hour. The food was cold. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The crab ragoons were tasteless and overcooked. We will not be eating from here again.

We spent almost $40 on two servings of General tso chicken. Apon pick up, the guy at the counter looked sick, and didn’t greet me. A man from the back rushed up and charged me my bill. I got the food home, one of the rice orders was wrong, they charged us for the wrong sized lo main, and both orders of chicken were dry and over cooked. Lo main was nothing but grease, and the entire restaurant smelled like they didn’t have their ventilation system running. We will NEVER order from this place again, and would recommend spending the extra money to just go to the buffet across the way..

Worst place for Chinese takeout. Ordered Crab Rangoon and got some fried dumplings with purple filling with carrots. Also watch what you are charged. They added $6 to the credit card charge that was not on my receipt I signed. I saw when my statement came in. I was warned about this place and didn't listen. Now I learned my lesson.

Not like it use to be.. ordered orange chicken and it had no orange flavor, it just tasted like greasy salty chicken nuggets. When I broke open the egg rolls it was mushy and black. We did not eat the food.. we just tossed 20 dollars of food in the garbage and ordered Olive Garden instead

The owner is DISGUSTINGLY rude! My mother and I ordered 3 eggrolls and boneless spare ribs. We were given 2 eggrolls and teriyaki chicken. When I tried to explain to the lady at the front counter of the error THEY MADE I was cut off and was not given the opportunity to to speak! She just assumed I wanted another eggroll and started speaking to the "cook" I was yelled at and told that I placed the wrong order and accused of touching the food (which looked like vomit) when I hadn't! She became even more belligerent when I started recording her b/c she was being so RUDE and took her time refunding the order and telling me she never wanted to see my face again. As if I was ever going to return there! LOL I dont recommend this place to anyone! 🤢

The grumpy lady who can barely speak English said 5 minutes I said you said 10 minutes 20 minutes ago and she was extremely rude like if I owed her something them it took 20 minutes more wow to top it off the food was horrible I order mixed vegetables and it was onions with dirty water peppers and like 2 mushrooms it tasted horrible I also ordered friend rice and it was light yellow to keep it simple save your money and go across the street to the other place China wok I usually go there anyways. I wont make the same mistake twice this place sucks oh did I mention that this place sucks

Go to China Wok! Literally anywhere is better than here! Omg firstly it took me 10mins talking on the phone to order an orange beef and 2 egg rolls. The employee on phone duty didn’t even understand the words I extracted from their own menu. “H4 Orange Beef, please?” Anyways, already by now my guard is up n I’m frustrated. 30mins later I arrive to pickup my order and they had not even started cooking! It has now been 45mins I am sitting here in their lobby waiting for my food I ordered 75mins ago, the place is empty! This dive of a Chinese takeout has a weird odor too. If I hadn’t paid already I would’ve left by now, first and last time without question, should’ve listened to reviews!

We ordered the phone they saidnit would take 45 to and hour like all other places. I called back once is passed an hour to have them tell me the food was on its way. They then called back in 40 mins to tell us our food was done and that it was on its way. Over 2 hours and we went to our normal Chinese spot. Yeah we had to pick it up but the food is fast fresh good and they are always frindly and never get an order wrong. This ppl are a joke. Dont order delivery because youlk be waiting and will never get your food.

Place sucks went two times wrong food. Cant understand her poor customer service. Sweet n sour chicken is overcooked. Beef was gross. Will not go again bad experience

After waiting 25 minutes for my food it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen or tasted. I threw it away and I’m now driving through Taco Bell. Not to mention the cockroaches crawling on the floor never will go there again

Do not go here. Is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ordered a mushroom beef, salty strong taste of galactic and super greasy. Also ordered a orange chicken, no orange flavor. Only one dried up peel of orange. Never again.

I can make better Burbon chicken than this it’s ridiculous it really is this is the worst Chinese food I have ever taste. I’m sooo upset I wasted 35 dollars on this. The boneless spare are horrible, you know that sweet savory taste you should get well it’s missing completely. The egg rolls are piss poor grease injected monsters.

Just got delivery. Horrible. The chicken is gummy, the rice is mush. I asked for mushrooms in rice- I found one. Was charged $23 for a disgusting meal. Who puts cucumbers in chicken and broccoli?? These guys do! Don't waste your money.

I ordered shrimp fried rice, in addition to waiting 15 minutes for the simple dish, the shrimp was cold and almost raw when I got it. I'll never eat here again, and will spend the extra 5 dollars to go across the plaza to the Asian buffet for fully cooked, hot food.
