The service was spot-on: attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly without being intrusive. The atmosphere was ideal for a company celebration—elegant, comfortable, and well-paced for both dining and conversation. A special acknowledgment goes to our event planner, Kristin, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was organized, responsive, and ensured every detail was executed seamlessly. From planning through the evening itself, the experience exceeded expectations. We would absolutely host future events here again.

Had dinner with my wife at Morton’s Steakhouse on Sunflower Ave. the restaurant was packed but Morton’s was able to order, serve and service quickly. The food was phenomenal and worth every penny. From the server, David, to the manager, the hostess and the assistant servers, and atmosphere were just remarkable. The Morton’s location is our favorite and we highly recommend this location. Kristin was so helpful when planning this special Birthday event. She responded quickly to my questions, was highly professional, and recommended great suppliers for cake and decorations. We had such a great time at for my son's surprise 18th birthday dinner! Kristin was amazing from the start, she guided with every detail and saw it through seamlessly....and most of all my son was over the moon with his surprise and his (Tomahawk) HAHA! A great deal of personalization went in to this for our event and it was greatly appreciated. Down to our personalized menu, a special treat of Blue cheese olives (my favorite). Our group felt well taken care of with our servers and the food was delicious. It can be challenging to get 16 fed at once but Morton’s delivered. Having done a group party prior at a different restaurant, this was by far a better experience. Thank you to the Morton’s Team for all your work! Job well done.

We went to Morton Steakhouse when they have the Orange County restaurant week. The price for these meals were very decent. They offered very good selection choices on the OC restaurant week menu. I was surprised that their pork chop so juicy and flavorful. It’s not easy with pork chop but the chef mastered it. Love love

First time visiting. The food was fantastic and the staff was top notch. We were celebrating an anniversary and the table decor and complimentary photo was a nice touch. Ordered cocktails, the onion bread was amazing. We each had a Morton’s specialty and a side and shared dessert. The restaurant is pricey but every dish was delicious. The staff was very attentive and it was a lovely meal for a special occasion. Well worth the splurge. Lots of leftovers packed to enjoy at home and they even sent us home with a fresh loaf of their delicious onion bread and butter.

Morton’s is always our choice for celebrations!! Dinner last night was delicious and decadent and really made it a special night! They had a special birthday menu for us and even came over to take our picture and gave us a beautiful printed picture keepsake! The team here is the absolute best and the food is always perfect! I love their extensive wine list and always find some hidden gems there. I tried the wine flight which was great - always love getting to try new things from the menu! I’d never had the crab mashed potatoes before but I think I need to add them to the regular order from now on! Delicious!!

Yes, the atmosphere was warm. Yes, the staff friendly & efficient. And yes, the food was incredible…not a surprise for Morton’s so I would like to focus on the level service we received & how it made us feel; Fabio was our server & I can not begin to tell you how it took our dining experience to another level. Patient, polite & knowledgeable he walked us through some of the favorites & his suggestions for great pairings. Before & after our food came I couldn’t help but notice no matter how busy he got, his personal attention to his customers didn’t change, it remained unwavering. Like I said; the food & the atmosphere were both great, & thanks to Fabio, the evening was one of the best dining experience I’ve ever had.

The food was incredible, but I was slightly disappointed in the steak, the prime rib was not what I expected at this price. Yes it was good but it wasn’t delicious. I’ve had tastier steaks at outback than the one I had here. But overall, everything was tasty, service was great. Spent $800+ on 3 people, Del Friscos is much tastier at the same price.

I celebrated Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend at Morton’s. I made a reservation on OpenTable about a month in advance. As a steakhouse, the ambiance was naturally upscale. Plenty of couples were here, dressed in red dresses and handsome button downs. Given the holiday, they were quite busy. Upon check in, we were told that there might be a delay, but we were seated at 8pm on the dot. Our server, however, did not take our order until 20 minutes after we had sat down. There was also a Prix Fixe menu available for Valentine’s day, but we found it odd how our server didn’t bring it up. We had to ask for it ourselves. The Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe menu will set each couple back $179. It comes with your choice of appetizer, a 28 oz bone in “Empire Cut,” twin lobster tails, two butters/sauces, and your choice of dessert. We also opted for three accompaniments, which cost around $10-20 each. I also had a cocktail from the bar - the “Cherry Blossom Martini.” Sweet, floral, and delightful. Our appetizer of choice was the lobster bisque, served in two mini cups. It was delicious. Rich, creamy, with robust lobster flavor. Our server advised us to dip our bread into the soup, and it was amazing. The bread itself was flavored - I believe it was some sort of onion loaf - which went very well with the soup. Somewhere between our second loaf of bread, I had to stop myself because we had a humongous meal still on the way. In hindsight, I wish I kept eating the soup and bread because that was probably the best thing we had all night. The steak was pretty good. I liked the black truffle butter, but the garlic butter was just ok. The sides were bland. I think the entire meal could have benefited from a good, hearty pinch of salt all around. For accompaniments, we opted for the jumbo grilled asparagus, lobster macaroni shells & cheese, and black truffle & lobster mashed potatoes. The asparagus was fine. I was especially disappointed by the lobster mac & cheese. I found it ironic that shells were the pasta of choice for this dish. Shells are a popular choice for mac and cheese as their grooves are able to catch and hold the cheese sauce, creating little pockets of bursting cheesy goodness. In the case of the lobster mac, there was not much cheese to catch. The saucy was thin and runny, barely coating the pasta at all. The black truffle & lobster mashed potatoes were underwhelming as the black truffle flavor was faint. For dessert, we chose “Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake,” which, surprise surprise, was just a molten lava cake. Pretty good, honestly. Fun fact, when I was 8 years old or so, I watched an episode of Arthur where Arthur’s dad attempts to bake a souffle. After watching the episode, I really wanted to try a souffle for myself, so my dad looked up where he could get me one. We settled on Morton’s. So he took me, t-shirt and all, to the Morton’s in Anaheim so that I could try a souffle. I really liked it. For a grade-schooler, it was such a fancy experience. I learned the word “sabayon” that night. “Would you like some more sabayon on your souffle?” the waiter asked the 8 year old me. Fast forward to about a year ago, I took my dad to the Santa Ana Mortons for Father’s Day. I was saddened to hear that the souffle was no longer on the menu, but it would have been so nice if it was still available for dessert. Overall, Morton’s is ok. My past couple of visits have been lukewarm… nothing compared to the magic I felt that one day after watching Arthur. I don’t think I would come back unless I heard the souffle made a surprise reappearance.

This is my first ( and last) experience at Morton’s Costa Mesa. First of all, we were sat at a table right at the entrance with lots of foot traffic, and the cold air every time anyone open the door. It took our waiter at least 15 minutes to even come and greet us after Being seated. My steak arrived barely warm. The sides were fine. We ordered the Keylime pie for dessert, and there was barely any lime taste to it, our waiter rarely came back to check on us. Overall, a big disappointment, especially for the price. I would go back to Ruth’s Chris over Morton’s in a heartbeat.

I went yesterday 12/8/24 by myself at 415p to enjoy a power hour palm beach drink and the burger. I was the only patron in the entire bar though the restaurant had guests! . I asked for it to be as least cooked as possible since I know temperature is hard on smashed burgers. They came out at the edges burnt and with onions that were not cooked and pickles on the burgers which were not even in description. My fries were not served with it but I was advised they were coming and they did arrives within a few minutes. I didn’t even have a napkin or cutlery when the meal was served. The server was spending a lot of the time I was waiting talking with her co worker in the corner and they should realize their private conversations out loud can be listened to especially by guests sitting at the bar. The manager did come and apologize and offered a fair discount for my experience however I didn’t enjoy my time here or my burger. The no salt fries I requested were good and I could watch football highlights which I enjoyed. I would be afriad to honestly sit for dinner if this is my experience just trying to enjoy some nice food after a visit to the mall.

Our server did well! There was a moment when my wife was eating her garden salad and she bit into a piece of an oyster shell and all management did was apologize instead of taking off the salad from the bill. I wasn't looking for a handout but my wife didn't want the rest of her salad after biting it not that piece of oyster shell... So I'm not scoring two stars on service because of our server... She did great. It was management that was at fault for not taking the salad off our bill...

When going to a high end restaurant, there a few things that are expected. Even the little things impact the experience and makes me question was it worth the cost ($600 for party of 4)? We showed up a few minutes early for our reservation. We can't help notice some parties of 4 who showed up after us were seated first. First con: Although we showed up early, we were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. 2nd con: The host does not provide the menu. We sat there for several minutes before the waiter gave us the menu. We could have read through the menu and made a decision that whole time we were waiting for the menu. One of the menus had no prices so we had to keep telling the prices when deciding what to order. The biggest con: we ordered filet mignon with lobster. The lobster was overcooked so it was tough and rubbery. The mash potatoes were not the best. My family said- it says a lot about the restaurant when the only best tasting side is French fries. Our waiter was very good. I felt bad that he had a big party and other tables to tend to. He was running around all night. The place is loud because they cram a lot of people next to each other. We had to talk loudly, including the waiter, so we can hear each other. Some of us had headaches from the loudness that echoed through the restaurant. The restroom needs attention!!! My son said one restroom stall was very dirty. My daughter said one restroom stall was wet (don't know if it's toilet splatter or someone was messy), she used the next stall but only to find out there was no toilet paper!

The food is okay, too salty for A5 Wagyu. . . But the guy - a waitress named : SANTANA needs more training how to serve the guest. He literally putting his feet on top of the chair while taking order, cut over someone’s conversation, and when asked to bring a check, he pretend standing in the computer but suddenly gone forever. Such a terrible attitude kind of a waitress for high end class restaurant like that.
