Food is good. Hummus was fresh and tasty. The (platter) portion size was large with tons of salad. New restaurant, so interior is fresh and clean. Has some limited outdoor seats as well. We had kabab items, tasted good and properly seasoned. You pay at counter and buss your own table.
Iraklis was excellent. We loved everything we tried, especially the original chicken shawarma, zaatar with labaneh, and the falafel. The flavors were spot on, fresh, and really satisfying. One of those places where you can confidently order multiple things and know it’ll all be good. Will definitely be back.
I recently ordered catering from Iraklis for an event, and the experience was absolutely incredible. The owner, Diaa, went above and beyond in every possible way. He was extraordinarily generous and kind — he gave me more food than I ordered at no extra charge. That level of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. The food itself was outstanding. The falafel were perfectly crunchy on the outside and deliciously flavorful inside. The hummus was incredibly smooth, and creamy. On top of that, the presentation was beautiful and professional, which made the entire spread even more impressive. I cannot recommend Iraklis enough. Exceptional food, exceptional generosity, and exceptional service. I will absolutely be ordering again!
I was greeted from the owner just as I was getting out of my car in front of the restaurant. I already felt a pride in his establishment that I knew would be showcased with the food. Let me tell you: They did not disappoint! This is on level with Damascus Style Shawarma I’ve had in LA.
My husband and I ate here last week. Everything was halal. I had an original beef shawarma wrap, and my husband tried the Damascus-Style beef shawarma wrap. We both enjoyed our food. Portions were large, and the food was really good.
Picked up lunch from Irakllis after finishing up some business at the FedEx a few doors down. The lamb wrap was incredible. Absolute flavor bomb. Tender lamb, beautiful seasoning, and a sizable portion. Fries and turnip pickles were also well done. I could eat a whole plate of their pickles. Looking forward to returning to try more of their dishes.
How have I never been here before! Such tasty food! Easily my favorite falafel spot in the area now! Falafel wrap - Perfect tasting falafel with fillings! LOVED the tahini OMG! Tangy and addictive! Elevates the taste of the falafel tremendously! Good size too. Ful/foul Jordanian style - Great taste and wonderful presentation! Can’t go wrong with the thin pita and pickles on the side with it. They have 2 other styles to try as well! Za’atar Cheese Manakeesh - Wow! One half with copious amount of za’atar with the right salt level on soft bread! Other half with thick layer of tasty melted cheese! Turkish coffee - Nice, strong, and flavorful. Chocolate hazelnut Turkish delight - Is not hard, and feels fresh! Amazing taste! Will definitely try other flavors next time! Regular finger baklava - Only item I did not enjoy. Felt too dry, and didn’t particularly like the taste. Friendly staff, good interiors, and arabic music playing at the right volume. Ample parking in the parking lot too. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and will be back to taste the other options very soon. Overall, this is the best Mediterranean spot around in terms of taste, quality and options!
The place nice and cozy, not too fancy. The food is the highlight. It tastes good for the price. The chicken shwarma wrap and falafel were amazing. A must try!
First time here but planning to come back often. I really enjoyed their Damascus style lamb shawarma. The toasted bread really makes the difference. Plus the lamb has really good flavor, especially coupled with the hot sauce. I wasn’t a big fan of the driving radish, or whatever the crunchy, purple vegetable was in there but I admit it does add a different taste kick. And the fries were perfectly crispy! Sounds weird, but I really liked those. I couldn’t resist and got a chocolate, hazelnut Turkish delight for dessert. So. Good. Really friendly restaurant manager.
One of the best Arabic foods in the Bay Area. I don’t say Middle Eastern, because this was an authentic Arabic spices and recipes. They have Lebanese, Syrian and Jordanian flavors. Service is at the Hospitality level. All in all, I’m glad I came here. Samantha is the best. Such a Sweat heart, polite and attentive.
Delightful Mediterranean restaurant, serving delicious shawarma, falafel, and baklava. They offer different regional styles, such as Syrian, Jordanian, and Lebanese. Everything tasted homemade with fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service. Large free parking lot with plenty of parking spots.
We stumbled upon this little eatery by chance. Despite its plain exterior, this unassuming Syrian and Lebanese restaurant serves some of the most unique, authentic Middle Eastern food I’ve had in the Bat Area. The lamb wraps and lamb plates are packed with flavor, and the falafels are perfectly crispy, but the true standout was the baba ganoush, which might just be the best I’ve ever tasted. The personal touch from the owner, who greeted every customer and ensured we were all satisfied, really elevated the experience. As a bonus, we were even treated to complimentary falafels. Everything is made in house and you can the freshness and quality in each bite. While the food and service are exceptional, the furniture could use an upgrade. With a few tweaks to the ambiance and serving plates and utensils, this place has the potential to be a real hotspot. Regardless, the incredible food and friendly service are more than worth the visit, and we will certainly return to try more foods on the menu and their coffee cooked on hot sands right in front of you, alongside some delicious Turkish delights and baklava.
It has been hard finding good lebanese, or even middle eastern, food in the bay area. The staff was very friendly, and the optional buffet style service was very cute. The spices and seasoning really made the food enjoyable and I plan on going back soon.

Vegetarian reviewer: This restaurant is a little Mediterranean gem conveniently located in the same complex as Indian grocery store, Patel Brothers, which makes it perfect for a quick stop after shopping. The staff is very welcoming and the ambience is tastefully created with simple yet elegant decor. Here are some of the things I have tried so far- 1. falafel wrap - it was delicious! Flavorful and juicy and filling. You don't need no hot sauce or tahini on the side. 2. Fries, and it was fresh and a little oily for my liking(no problem, they have napkins :)). I would recommend letting them know to make it well done if you like, how I like it :) 3. Zaatar bread - omg! This one was so tasty! I would 100% recommend it. It wasn't too salty - so I added some salt and pepper to make it to my liking and it was awesome. Well if you like it crispy or maybe a little more done than done a soft bread, let them know coz I am gonna ask for it next time :) I am coming back definitely to try their falafel plate, desserts and Mango lassi next time when I am in the area! Service is quick and the restaurant is neat and clean. Restroom is spacious and well maintained too. Loads of parking available in the lot and it shouldn't be too difficult to find parking during busy hours as well.

2/11-We really enjoyed our meal tonight. We ordered off the menu on top of the Yelp event offering. Everything was fabulous and so fresh. The flavors are abundant and everything compliments the other when combined. My latest first time is the Fatteh! Delicious pita chips, garbanzo beans, yogurt dressing, chopped almonds, parsley and spices. I don't really know how to explain what it tastes like, other than yummy! The shish tawook was nice and juicy, the grilled shrimp had a great charred flavor similar to the shish tawook. The lentil soup never disappoints! Especially on a rainy night! ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend just trying things and expanding your horizon if there are items you aren't familiar with. The kibbeh is one of my friends favorite- if you're a meat eater, give it a try! We love Iraklis, we love Achilles, we love Diaa, and we love Elias! They are wonderful people who deserve all the success in the world. Everything is fresh and from scratch. You won't be disappointed! 9/22 - I'm very surprised to see less than stellar reviews for Iraklis. The food is fabulous, fresh, flavorful, reasonable, and made in-house. You know you aren't getting mass produced, chemical laden, sub-par ingredients. They are beyond friendly and will always make your experience right if you don't like something. Try everything on the menu! You have to taste it to know how amazing everything is! The Vegan Kofta is hands down my favorite and is a delicious tangy spread that goes amazing with Taboulleh, flat bread, onions, etc. It's soooo good! ❤️❤️❤️ -----------‐----------------------------------------- It's always a pleasure. I recommend trying the new Chicken Shish Tawook. It has a fabulous charcoal grill taste. It's super moist and beyond tender. I always love getting the vegan kofta and eating it with the taboulleh, hummus, and babaghanoush (not on the menu yet, but it's available). It's super tangy and is like nothing I can describe. It's delicious in the panini sandwich also! Grace is an absolute doll and is the beautiful face of Iraklis! They've been a victim of crime recently, so please support them and help recover their losses. 💔❤️
I absolutely love this spot! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a homely vibe. The staff always goes above and beyond to be super friendly. But the real star is the food: it is VERY authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. It's impossible to pick a single best dish because I have quite a few favorites across the menu! They offer a generous selection of options for both vegans and vegetarians, and for meat-eaters, all the meat is halal. Though I only discovered this place less than a year ago, it has quickly become one of my essential "go-to" restaurants. I also frequently use their online ordering for "to-go" meals, and the process is always seamless—my order is always ready without any issues. Highly recommended!
Casual eatery, order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The gentleman behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and talked us through the menu. Really loved their hummus b/c the texture was super smooth and the flavors were well balanced. I had the beef kabob plate and unfortunately the meat was a little spicy for me, but I’m not a fan of spicy food in the first place, so it’s probably just right for everyone else! The pita with zaatar was delish! My husband had a chicken wrap which he really liked.

I ordered the Kofta Kabab. The taste was good. The hummus was good as well. I think the portion size of both the meat and the rice was too low. They should give a bit more food. Other than that, I have no complaints with the food. It would have been better if they served it with some hot or chili dipping sauce. The restaurant is quite small, however there is outdoor seating if the weather is good.
I tried the chicken shawarma Damascus style here and it was quite good, with an authentic flavor that really stood out. The fries were fine, not bad but not particularly memorable. The sujuk sandwich with cheese was an interesting twist, served on a torta-like bread that was okay, though I was hoping for a more traditional presentation. Overall, solid food, especially the shawarma, but some elements could be a bit better.
The server was very good. The shawarma was delicious and the hot tea was wonderful. The baklava was a bit stale. And over honeyed. But on all for a place in a little strip mall it was good. The server was very nice and accommodating. I'd go back.

I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting food experiences, and Iraklis recently led me to a real winner: lamb tacos and Turkish delights. The lamb tacos were a revelation - tender, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. They transported me straight to a bustling street food market. The Turkish delights were the perfect ending, a sweet and delicate treat that left me wanting more. It was a truly delightful culinary adventure, and I can't wait to try more.
Nice atmosphere, but most dishes were not authentic. The sucuk is just ground beef with spices, not the sausage. The lamb shwarma didn’t taste good. Turkish coffee took 15 minutes to make and wasn’t Turkish coffee (more like Yemeni style with cardamom). Baklava tasted old. Hummus was good.
08.15.25 2:35pm Lebanese/Syrian restaurant with some Jordan & Armenian dishes. We never ate this exact type of cuisine and didn't know what to expect. We're only used to Dish Dash, which we find to be excellent. Restaurant location is in a easy to find, open, corner location in a strip mall with plenty of parking, great bright blue signage. The restaurant is quite small but very clean, cashier/hostess lady is beautiful, welcoming, friendly and very informative when you ask her about the menu. Unfortunately the food tasted interestingly both heavily/overly spiced yet quite bland at the same time, sort of a mushy mess while being very fresh. We ordered the 1.Lamb Shawarma Plate, 2.Sampler Plate of Falafel, Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Labaneh & Pickled Turnip w.Olives, 3.Armenian Sujuk without Cheese (soft fried bread filled with seasoned minced meat & vegetables served w.fries). The Armenian Sujuk was the best dish out of the 3 and was tasty though it was heavily seasoned, didn't mind it being so seasoned. The Sampler plate didn't taste good at all, each sample tasted almost exactly of the same bland mushy mess. The lamb shawarma was just ok, we wouldn't order nor recommend that dish to friends. Some of the desserts looked and sounded interesting but due to the fact that the meals were so mediocre at best (our daughter tried her best to eat most of the healthier food option of the 3 plates so she didn't have to eat dinner later on) we didn't buy any dessert to bring home to try. We really wanted to love this restaurant due to the reviews but it doesn't compare even a little bit to Dish Dash. Do Middle Easterners really prefer this food over Dish Dash??? That's really unbelievable.
4.6/10 Chicken Shwarma wrap I went in right at opening and the food tasted like it was recycled from the night before. Chicken was so dry it was almost uneatable. Nothing was fresh at all. It was only meat and a tiny bit of sauce on the inside The wrap was equally as dry and the ratio of meat to wrap was pretty bad. The sauce they put on it couldn't save it The fries also tasted like they were frozen and warmed up This place was pretty bad. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend to others and I wont be trying again

I don’t recommend this place at all. The sizes are very small for the prices, and the taste is below average. It’s Syrian food, not Lebanese at all !! so the flavors are not what they advertise. • Shawarma: 3/10 — very peppery and salty. • Mankouche: Very small and not fresh. They used ready-made bread instead of real mankouche dough, so the texture and taste were completely wrong. • Sojok: It was okay, but nothing special. Overall, I don’t recommend it.
