Vermicelli with grilled shrimp and pork combo, great deal, combo comes with choice of any tea, ordered passion fruit with mango bits, it was refreshing, tasty and fast service!
I visited here several times and especially whoever was the cook on 02/10/2026 at 9:00am i really want to give him extra extra tips and applause The soup tasted perfect balance of salt and super clean visual, barely saw oil floating in the soup I know it's really hard to keep a large portion Of soup to serve with consistency, but I am really hoping that they can keep the taste that I experienced today morning for Everyone else Thank you so much for wonderful breakfast
Me and my homeboy went to this place after the gym. The place was really good. The atmosphere was chill, the service was decent and the staff was nice. The food here is delicious and the drink, it was amazing.
When we arrived at pho on El Camino, we were probably greeted by the server and seated as well. We ordered our food and within five minutes or less all of our food was served. The person taking care of us was very attentive for our needs coming back many times to see if everything was OK I highly recommend
This is the best and only pho spot I’ll ever go to we are regulars and love coming here not just because of how amazing the food and the boba is but because of how attentive and caring the servers are. I’ve always had a positive experience here which is why we always come back and it’s close to us too. I just want to say thank you to every single worker here for your hard work and your amazing service it always makes me feel comfortable coming back here every single time I’ll always come here ☺️
If you are looking for beef pho soup that is not too greasy or saulty, this is perfect choice in that region. My favourite options are traditional steak and the summer roll. It is my must visit restaurant every time when I travel to silicon valley. Plus, it operates till 10:00pm which is good when you are looking for desert meal at night.
Thee absolute best chicken banh mi & black pepper wings in the bay! The wings are only at those locations the banh mi comes with pho broth on the side for dipping & also a fried egg on top. Omg just so much flavor & the sandwiches are huge! I had to eat it in 2 sittings. I will make the drive just for this specific spot!
Great Experience at Pho Hoa + Jazen Tea! I recently visited Pho Hoa + Jazen Tea and tried both the Chicken Pho and the Veg Pho, along with their Avocado Rolls. The Chicken Pho was incredibly flavorful with tender pieces of chicken and a rich, aromatic broth. The balance of spices and herbs really brought out the authenticity of the dish. The Veg Pho, on the other hand, was equally satisfying. The broth was light yet flavorful, packed with fresh vegetables, making it a great option for vegetarians. I appreciated how they didn’t compromise on flavor even without meat. The Avocado Rolls were a pleasant surprise. Fresh, creamy avocado paired with crisp veggies made for a refreshing starter. The portion size was perfect for sharing, and they came with a delicious dipping sauce that complemented the rolls beautifully. Overall, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy. Definitely recommend this place for pho lovers!
Pho Hoa stands out as a commendable establishment for Vietnamese cuisine in Santa Clara. Their pho is particularly notable due to its richly flavored broth, which is crafted with a careful balance of spices and fresh herbs, complemented by high-quality ingredients. The spring rolls and summer rolls also shine, demonstrating a deft touch in preparation with crisp textures and harmonious flavor profiles. Additionally, the menu features an extensive selection of rice dishes that showcase expertly grilled meats, enhancing the overall dining experience. This restaurant consistently offers a reliable and satisfying culinary option for enthusiasts of Vietnamese fare.
We came at 11:30 PM on a Saturday night and loved that it was open! The only places open along that stretch of El Camino that's open at that hour are Jack In the Box and Carls Jr Drive Thru. So kudos there. But! My usual favorite hot and sour noodle soup was extra blank and flavorless. I'll chalk it up the the kate hour and won't count it against them this time. I am just appreciative there was some place open ro grab a bite to eat.
Do you ever experience those sudden pho cravings? Whenever I'm in the mood for something savory, my mind immediately goes to pho, and I can't shake the thought. Recently, I noticed Pho Hoa had a promotion on Doordash, so I decided to give it a try. I was genuinely surprised to see the low ratings for this place, but I took a chance and ordered their Brisket and Beef Rib Pho. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it turned out. The price seemed quite reasonable considering the generous portions of meat, including a giant rib with tender, falling-off-the-bone goodness. While it may not be the absolute best pho I've ever had, I genuinely enjoyed the meal. I can't comment on the service since I had it delivered, but I'd recommend this as a reliable take-out option. They also took great care in packaging everything, which was a nice touch. Note: The pictures were taken during my first visit to the restaurant.
I ordered 2 shrimp summer rolls, one avocado roll and a fried egg roll. All was very good, my only dislike is the thicker rice wrapper but I still enjoyed it. The peanut sauce is perfect. Also I ordered a pineapple smoothie, it was absolutely delicious my only dislike is some of the pulp made my throat itchy but it was still amazing. Overall pretty good spot for summer rolls. The rolls didn't have some of the traditional herbs but thats ok. Definitely a go to spot.
I’m so glad that they open till 12AM. There’s no other pho place in town that opens till midnight. They also have tea shop so you can order fruit tea or boba. We ordered one pho from a kid menu and one from combo. It was delicious! Avocado spring roll was also so fresh and yummy. A cute pack of drink comes with kid meal. We will come back when we feel like to have pho at night. Thank you so much for opening up late!
This place is clean, service good, soup piping hot. That’s it. Come if that’s what you care about. If you want good pho. No. This is not it. Avoid. Or don’t listen at your own peril. No taste in soup. About the taste of hot water. Noodles def not freshly made noodles. Usually I leave nothing in the bowl. This one. I’ve had enough. This is the most kind review I could write. When they are pushing chicken wings, boba tea and a pan Asian menu, you know it’s trouble. Friends wanted to eat here for nostalgia. Well this is not yo mamas pho hoa. Sorry
I used to come here often, but the cleanliness & service has seemed to decline, causing me to avoid this location. It feels very unsanitary, spoons are dirty & damaged, etc. If they don’t make the initiative to clean/replace obvious things like the spoons, I hate to think about other precautions they don’t take. Service often feels rushed.
We ate lunch here at a table outsid. The woman said we had to order at the counter first before sitting down. I thought this was a little strange since the tables inside were full service. We ordered two vermicelli bowls a Grilled Shrimp (sans pork) and a Grilled Pork and Fried Roll plus 2 Original Thai Milk Teas. Neither of the vermicelli bowls were good. Both the pork and shrimp were very dry like they were cooked several days beforehand and the shrimp was cold. The Thai tea was good. I would go back for the tea only.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Pho Hoa for over 10 years, eating here 3-4 times a week, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant in my life. This started on my previous visit when the server Cuong was extremely rude after I politely asked for extra bean sprouts. She gave me dirty looks while I asked, while handing over the food, and continued giving me looks every time she walked past our table. I brushed it off, thinking maybe it was a bad day. Unfortunately, this visit was even worse. The moment my lady and I walked in, Cuong was already giving us dirty looks. After we sat down, she stood at the front desk clearly talking about us to her coworker—both of them staring at us the entire time. When she took our order, she was rude again. I asked for extra bean sprouts (something I’ve done for over a decade here), and she looked at me like I was crazy, didn’t say a word, and just walked off. We were already fed up with the attitude, so when we needed extra lemon (we were only given two tiny pieces), we asked another server, Toa. She had the audacity to say “no.” I was honestly shocked. We’re paying customers—if there’s an extra charge, just say that. Don’t flat-out refuse basic condiments. When I responded, “What? Why no?” a male server quickly jumped in and tried to save the situation by saying she “didn’t know English.” Funny how they suddenly know English when it’s time to say “no.” Now let’s talk about the food. I’ve ordered #2—and ONLY #2—for over 10 years, and I have never seen pho like this. The broth was murky, unappetizing, and completely flavorless. The noodles were cut down to almost the size of rice, while every other bowl in the restaurant—including my lady’s—had long, normal noodles. This has never happened to me here before. I always finish my pho, no matter what. This time, I couldn’t even get five bites in without feeling disgusted. To make things worse, we were still trying to order drinks, and the servers were actively ignoring and avoiding us. When I finally addressed everything at the front desk while paying for this horrible food and service, all I got were excuses and repeated claims of “not knowing English.” Clearly, they know enough when it’s convenient. I’m beyond disappointed and upset. This restaurant has zero customer service, and I truly hope more people speak up when they’re treated this way. Pho Hoa has officially lost a 10+ year loyal customer who spent money here 3–4 days a week. I honestly can’t believe how bad this experience was.
Unbelievable disgusting food and service 🤮 ordered seared garlic steak pho, garlic was burned, asked waiter why garlic burned, she said that's a pepper. She lied straight face. I don't recommend pho hoa jazen tea . Disgusting and dirty.
I just got a couple of dishes to go here and they came out terrible. I ordered a veggie pho with egg noodles and the noodles came very very mushy, like they had been cooked for hours. Every piece of broccoli had a lot of hard black bits that looked really gross. I also ordered a veggie vermicelli bowl with tofu. The tofu was barely cooked, there weren't really any veggies, and instead of a nice soy sauce, I only got a peanut sauce that you would normally dip a spring roll in. I have ordered these dishes at the other Pho Hoa location in Santa Clara, in the Mercado, and they were many many times better than this place. The other place has very nice and crispy tofu, and they have veggie egg rolls for the vermicelli bowl, which they serve with soy sauce. I can't imagine eating this dish with a peanut sauce. When I called to tell them about the food, they just said i was wrong and the food is fine. They didn't try anything to make it right. I hate to waste food, but both of these dishes are inedible. These dishes were both like $17 and the portions aren't even enough to make up for the low quality. I will never order from here again, which is a bummer because it is so much closer than the Mercado location.
The cashier was so rude. this place says its open till 12 am but they dont take dine in orders after 11.30. So i placed a to go order for chicken pho. This person clearly gace me beef pho with chicken pieces. How do these ppl not know , if a person is placing an order for chicken pho, it also means chicken soup.. not just pieces of chicken in beef soup. such a waste of my money and time. Never going back to this place.
They forced us to move tables to sit down their own friends. Rudely asked us to "Just move!". I do not recommend this place. They also tried to pressure us to leave a 5 star review. Don't come here unless you like to be treated like trash.
