If you are walking from Santa Margherita Ligure to the Abbey or Portofino, you will pass Buongustio Doc on the seaside of the road. We had lunch with friends. You can't beat having lunch as the sea. The service was fine. The meal was too expensive for what you got and the place could use some love.

Caprese pizza was perfect with the addition of pesto. Good value dinner compared to Portofino. Our bill for for two wines and a pizza came to €33, although the wine was not on a menu and we asked for pesto believe it’s worth double checking the bill before payment as we believe we were charged few euros extras.

Rip off. They charge cover for aperitif and also for a 2 year old child. Drinks change from €10 to €15 during happy hour to cover for the food. My 3rd drink was still €15. It makes no sense. Better off with no food and €10 drinks. Happy hour is meant to be cheaper not more expensive. Beware of the €15 drink charge in small on the menu. Management have no brain. I came here in 2019 was a much better experience.

It’s a five star view, everything else a 2.5 food was not that good. Ordered their specialty dishes. 🫤they were not that special and we got the pizza dishes and a bowl of pesto pasta. It was mushy, one glass of wine and water. Our bill came out to 103€ I feel like they overcharged us.

This looks like a cute place on the path from Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino. We stopped in around 1:30 for gelato. The gelato was ok, not great. There were many open tables outside, so I sat down at one of them to enjoy my gelato while waiting for my husband to pay. I was seated maybe a couple of minutes when a waiter told me the tables were for lunch only, and that I had to sit at the bar instead. I can understand if they were busy, but they weren’t. I will never give them my business again.

If you're looking for decent food and service - this isn't the place. Let me start on a positive...The view is amazing. But the staff are not helpful and fairly rude. The food when we were finally able to order...was really basic for price you're asked to pay. Poorly executed local dishes....but not to worry, if you don't like your food, the constant pecking and badgering from the flock of pigeons will will eat directly from your plate. If you want a nice meal, go to Santa Margarita or portofino. This place is just looking for influencers and people who love getting ripped off.

Average food, too expensive price, zero service. We came for an appetizer on a Sunday at 5 pm. We waited around 30 min to the waiter finally take note of our order and even when it finally was made, it was wrong. I have asked 3 times to different people to clean the table from the previous clients and nobody did. My husband had to do it and looks like nobody even noticed. We asked for extra dishes to share a pizza and a woman who looks the manager, brought them dirty and even didn’t disposed them in the table. She placed them at the middle in the style DO IT YOURSELF! Definitely not recommended.

The waitress was absolutely rude already when we came in and ended up charging 30€ more than we consumed which my poor mother didn't notice in time. Additionally to the already high prices and the 30 euros the waitress just added, they charged us (4people) 15€ only for sitting there ("cuperto"). All of us had something to eat and drink so we would have paid enough as is. Absolutely ridiculous and I am convinced that it was not an accident that the waitress added more to our bill. I don't usually like leaving bad reviews but this treatment was really not okay and someone should be held accountable.
