Un must si visitas Mazunte! Mi favorito por siempre! El omelette popeye es el mejor! Súper recomendado, buen sabor, ambiente agradable, excelente servicio.

We loved this place so much we came back 3 times for breakfast. The eggs, the acai bowls and the cacao bowls in particular were absolutely delicious. Best breakfast we had in Mexico.
The seitan bowl is phenomenal - probably the best value for the money that we had on our short trip. Delicious and nutritious, what more can you ask for?
yummy yummy yummy - plus i just felt good eating this food. he got a variety of delicious tacos & i ate toast with creamy avocado & a fried egg - add sesame seeds! plus of course, fresh juices - cappuccino - detox shot (whew) absolutely loved it. Service was right on. Waited just a few minutes for table - always a great sign a restaurant is full! Totally worth it. We’ll be back.
I had the most delicious lunch at Umami. This vegetarian cafe that offers healthy, home-made food made with love also has many vegetarian and vegan options. I had the water of the day, the falafel with salad, and the banana cake and all of it was DIVINE. 🔥What's special: They offer a smoothie cacao bowl that you don't find in many other places, cold pressed-juices, as well as a vegan quiche with tofu and leek, and they cook with Ghee upon request. 🥗Menu: They offer a variety of healthy dishes such as smoothie bowls incl. Acai Bowl (100-110 MXN), avocado-toast or the sweet version, such as with peanut butter and banana (40-65 MXN), lunch bowls (140-180 MXN), falafel plate (70 MXN), cold-pressed juices (60-75 MXN), smoothies (60-75 MXN), deserts (banana cake, chocolate tart, cookies) 🥑Vegan/Gluten-free options include bowls, deserts, vegan quiche and toasts. They don’t have fruit salad ⏰Opening Hours: Friday - Tuesday, 8 am - 8 pm 🙋♀️customer service: Very attentive and friendly. 💳Payment: Cash, card payment 5% fee 🌎Free wifi available and sockets to charge your device. 🌳Sustainability: Fresh and seasonal ingredients locally sourced. Favourite food spot in San Agustinillo! They have delicious coffee, smoothies, juices and health shots. It's the perfect spot for a healthy breakfast. You must try the smoothie bowls, and the savoury toasts - especially the one with oaxacan cheese, pesto & tomato. Really great vibe and friendly staff :)
We LOVED coming to eat here, breakfast and lunch most days that we were in San Agustinillo. I especially loved the crispy fish tacos 🌮 which was sooo good and fresh with avocado spread cabbage and carrot and some of their pickled purple onion and vegan chipotle aioli 👏🏻👏🏻 crispy bowl was second favourite with tons of veggies and nice touches from the place Like pickled onion and cherry tomato, avocado, lettuce, cucumber, zucchini , a seasoned mushroom, quinoa, honestly packed with a lot of fresh and healthy ingredients and the dill dip for the breaded fish was really yummmy as well. This place also has other staff like açai bowl etc. toasts, local breakfast, falafel and more. Feeling a bit homesick we took the falafel once for entrée, and it was really good and coming from Israel 🇮🇱 that says something 😉
Top place in Mazunte/San Agustinillo. We came here 4 times with my husband. Slow food concept. Friendly service. Owner Xavier created a great place. We tried it all. Cold pressed juice, coffes, smoothie bowls, toasties, bowls, vegan deserts and all was delicious, high quality great food. We are coffee snobs and their espresso was top notch. In a bowl every ingredient has a suscitan flavour. The hight light bowl was seitan. Bombastic flavour. Easy chill vibes. Sometimes you need to wait a bit because the lace is quite small and very popular (for the food is delicious). Don't rush and do wait, its worth it ☀️
Amazing place! We are here 4 times, and each time was perfect. Lovely friendly service, great music and most importantly great food. Every element of their bowls is very special. Super fresh ingredients and fantastic flavours The breakfast bowls are healthy, filling and beautifully prepared. The coffee is also the best we’ve had in Mexico. Really good espresso, served in beautiful cups Lovely view across to the ocean. Nothing bad to say. It’s small, so maybe expect to wait a little on busy days but it is worth it :)
The ingredients at this place are so so fresh and the menu is amazing. My partner had the falafel bowl and I had the catch of the day. Both had incredible flavour! The service was lovely and the sauces they deliver to the table were great too. Top 3 best restos in San Augustinillo/Mazunte area in my opinion! I also recco Casa Corazón and breakfast at Maralto <3
I am not vegetarian, but this place is geared for veggie-centric people. Their only protein other than vegan substitutes is fish, but the fish is very good, very fresh. Their Buddha bowls are ver…
What a cracking place to eat. Imaginative food and plenty of vegetarian options. Lovely dessert too and a range of beers and other adult beverages.
We got breaded fish tacos to go along with a delicious fresh juice. The tacos were beautiful and full of healthy ingredients. We’re going back for dinner!
One of the best breakfast spots in San Agustino. The Popeye Omelet is fantastic and was almost too much for me to finish. Their fresh juices and smoothies are top notch with locally sourced ingredients made to order. The coffee was ok. Cortado was decent but nothing to write home about. The service is good enough but it’s a beach town so might be hit or miss. The main attraction here is you overlook the street and get to observe the comings and goings of town life. Kid friendly, dog friendly, just get there early or you might wait all morning for a seat, especially in high season.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The service was extremely bad. The waitress (a Spanish girl with curly hair) was rude from the start, and the owner didn’t offer any apology or acknowledgment of the situation. When I asked to see the menu, he himself was not very friendly either. Overall, the vibe felt very uncomfortable, as if customers were an inconvenience. We waited 50 minutes for breakfast, and every time we had a question, it felt like we were bothering the staff. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and rushed, but that doesn’t justify the lack of basic courtesy! there wasn’t a single smile or any sense of hospitality. What made me leave truly upset was the following: I politely asked if there was anywhere I could charge my phone. She never came back with an answer. I asked again 30 minutes later, and she responded in an extremely rude and aggressive way, saying she wasn’t going to deal with that because she was not gonna interrupt every thing she had to deal with for that. Her tone and facial expressions were hostile, even though I was simply asking whether a cable was available. Very strange atmosphere for a restaurant, and unfortunately not an experience I would recommend.
Shocked and disappointed! I’ve always loved this restaurant for its fresh, healthy vegan food and have supported it many times. Unfortunately, my last visit was very upsetting. While I was eating, the owners’ young child (around four years old) was screaming and throwing silverware, and one piece actually hit me. I was startled and moved to another table to stay out of the way — and get away from the screaming while trying to eat . Only after I turned around and waited did the mother and co-owner finally offer a brief apology. Then, instead of addressing the situation appropriately, they became upset that I had moved tables and asked me to leave. I truly understand that children have difficult moments — this little one clearly needed a nap — but parents who own a restaurant also have a responsibility to manage those situations respectfully. It’s such a shame, because I really loved this place and its food. But being hit with silverware and then treated like I was the problem was incredibly disappointing.
