Our waitress Lily was super friendly & attentive, great family dinner!

Christina was such an excellent server! She was warm and friendly and took great care of us. She checked in with us the perfect amount and explained any questions we had about the menu throughly. She made our dining experience great!

We came to Red Lobster on Easter Sunday with our family and a group of church families—about 15 of us total. While the food was a bit greasy and somewhat unflavorful, the service more than made up for it. Cindy was our server and she was incredible. Not only was she kind and attentive, but she also memorized every single order—15 people!—without writing a single thing down, including names. And she got it all right! Her memory, professionalism, and warm attitude made our experience memorable. Cindy truly went above and beyond. Give that woman a raise! 👏

9/18/25: Following an eight month break from this place, I decided to dine here when returning to L.A. from the Bay Area. The server, Roslynd, was great. She was very well mannered and always paid attention to everything in her section. I was very nervous about dining here again following the eperience last January. I noticed a completely different atmosphere at this location from the prior time. It's great to know this place has improved. 01/03/25: I really hate having to compile an update to a good review. I was here again last Friday at approximately 2:00 pm. I was returning to Los Angeles from San Francisco. When I arrived, the restaurant was not busy. There were three occupied tables in the section I was seated with one table leaving as I was being seated. It took nearly ten minutes for the server to get to my table. At that time, the second table left, leaving one other table. Throughout the dining, the service was terribly slow considering there were only two occupied tables in the entire restaurant (including my table). Following some very slow service and being the only customer for the last ten minutes, it took forever for the server to bring me the check. The server was standing approximately ten feet away talking with another employee; I believe the host. They were complaining about their issues with work, etc. What gets to me is they were standing in front of my table a few feet away and the server failed to stop talking and bring me the check. I finally had enough of listening to them talking after ten minutes and bluntly/loudly told her to bring me the check. It is so disgusting how horrible service is today. PRIOR REVIEW I don't recall my server's name. She provided excellent service. I was here late in the evening a few weeks ago when returning to L.A. from S.F. I had a long day dealing with two cases in the Bay Area and driving back to L.A. The food was good and service was excellent. I had the two grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and a side of asparagus. I guess this will be the Red Lobster I go to when I'm craving it.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, I will definitely be back to try the other dishes! The Crab and the Prawn with the coconut sauce were very tasty, I recommend it 100% 😁👌🤤

Julie was an excellent server. She took care of all our requests promptly with a can do attitude. There was a problem with my wife’s meal being undercooked and they took care of it promptly. Christina was very friendly, lovely and professional. We loved her service and will be coming back soon. She knew we had a wild little boy and she provided him with some extra stickers which he loved and helped keep him entertained. Allowed us to catch up after a really long time and enjoy our food.

Came in on Mother's Day and the restaurant was super busy. My server Christina was the only reason we didn't leave. A lot of people were upset because food was taking along time to come out as were we. I truly was so delighted she was our server. She entertained and treated my kid special. We stopped in on a whim. We were sat in Mackenzie’s section. Our experience was phenomenal. She was so attentive and helpful. We walked away extremely full from the fresh food and still had leftovers. We definitely will return. Don’t hesitate to stop in for the food and great customer service.

Great! BUT Make sure you give your waitor the tips at hand. Dont leave it at the table. My honnie and I got the special dinner for 2 and it was very filling. The mac n cheese with pretty good.

10/10 ! We came in to try to new Seafood Boil and it did NOT disappoint! Atmosphere was great, the food was very tasty and the best part of all was the Service. Our Waitress CHRISTINA was so friendly and attentive! Most of all was her positive attitude the whole time from when we sat down to eat, to the time we left. I most definitely recommend stopping into this location in Santa Maria not only for great service but the new SEAFOOD boil was amazing! We had 1/2 Cajun seasoning and 1/2 Garlic butter ! Food: I ordered fish and chips, my husband ordered the lobster & shrimp pasta. I enjoyed the fish & chips, nicely fried but not greasy. My husband couldn't finish his pasta and I couldn't my plate, so they do give you a large portion. Plus they give you cheesey biscuits, yum! Service: Excellent, the server was fantastic, friendly and warm. Vibe: Traditional older restaurant. Clean. Noteworthy: We were on a road trip & stopped in Santa Maria to see friends that had recently moved there, because it was December 25th, we were limited on choosing a restaurant and had not been to Red Lobster in many many years but happy to find it on Opentable to make reservations. I was surprised at the high prices, because I understood it was a family value restaurant, (lower priced) but understandably EVERYTHING, especially seafood is much more expensive. Regardless, we enjoyed dinner with our friends and our meal. They do have a great happy hour. If we need a place to go during a Holiday, when most restaurants are closed, I'll remember Red Lobster!

We had stopped by a nearby sea food restaurant at 7PM last night that recently opened up, they informed that they were not taking anymore reservations that night. We went to Red Lobster (less than a block away) and had just a 10 minute wait. Great service Great food Great atmosphere. We could still carry on a conversation without a struggle hearing the conversation. The waitresses had a great attitude and was always checking to see if we had everything.

LILY WAS AWESOME. We joined a party of 20 for a birthday party. It took a while to get seated but when we did, Lily took over as our server. She was the best. We all placed separate checks which is unheard of these days. She took our drink orders and had the for us quickly and then took our orders. The manager was bitchy but Lily was great. Pretty standard chain experience, but food was good and service was attentive.

The young woman at the front desk was very impersonal and distant however the waitress Christina was incredible, funny, fast, and made the experience so much better. Thank you so much for serving our family for my mother’s birthday.

We came in really late about 15 min before they close (yes, we were THOSE people). There was a short mexican server who rolled her eyes at us when we came in and basically ignored us while we waited for 5 minutes. Then a sweet, friendly blonde hostess came and she double-checked if they were still seating since it was so close to closing time. She came back a few min later and sat us, and Robert was our server. He was great! Very kind, good personality, and pretty good service. The food was great and he took good care of us, we just wished we asked for a second round of cheddar biscuits. Overall i was quite impressed other than we wished we had more biscuits and the server being annoyed at us for coming in late. Which i understand, but i wish she saved her eye roll for the back where we were oblivious to her annoyance. (She didn’t even serve us so i’m not sure why she was such a bitter b*tch). The manager stopped by and told us to take our time and Robert also reminded us to enjoy our food and drinks which helped a lot. We appreciate them for taking us in so late and at the end we left very happy and content. I got the Feast with Snow Crab Legs, Maine Lobster, Shrimp Skewer, and Shrimp Scampi with a side of mashed potatoes and rice. We spent about $240 including tip, for 3 people, 3 cocktails, 1 beer, and 1 glass of 9 oz wine.

Lily was amazing! In my opinion the best server here! I come here often and am always excited to have her as my waitress. From the friendly ness to the laughs that we share, I will for sure come back hoping she’s my waitress again. She even offered salads on the house and made accommodations to the meals for us. Definitely recommend her as your server!

First time trying it out. I gotta say it was good. I tried clam chowder ones before, and i did not like it. I've heard her the clam chowder. Hear is good, so I gave it a try, and man, was it good me and my wife order the endless shrimp tried different styles cooked they were all good but the crispy dragon shrimp was just something els delicious. The only complaint was that they forgot my wife's side salad. The waiter noticed at the end and made up for it by giving us a free desert. Overall, I'm definitely going back.

Love the staff here! Everyone is so friendly! I only gave it this rating because this isn’t my favorite type of food to eat. My mom loves seafood and I am dragged here ever so often. She loves her food always. I love the biscuits and the drinks. I’m sure I’ll be back with my mom

The food was really good tonight. I’ve been to this chain many times, just not this location. Two of the four meals that came out were not very warm while the other two were both good and hot. Wait staff not very attentive even on a slow night. So, service could use some improvements but other than that everything was good.

Family night, we all had a variation of dishes, all food was good, no complaints from anyone. Side note was always waiting on refills. Attached some pictures. I would recommend the coconut shrimp 🍤. Service was horrible. It took 30 minutes juste to get drinks out when yhe resturant was almost completely empty. We ordered an appetizer and it came out 10 before the drinks.

Mediocre!!! I tried the rainbow trout since that's what I always get at cracker barrel. But it was way overcooked and bland. The baked potato was okay, I wish they added more toppings since it's a $1 extra change. The salad was also okay. Chicken tenders were fine. We requested the check and bought it right away I asked her a refill of limonada before asking the check and had to ask 3 times, her response was she had another table asking for the check. Unfortunately this bad experience for our family of 6 is not cheap! Bathrooms were dirty. 👎🏼 We are NOT going back there ever! Rather going to Costco that was a block away!!!!

Red lobster is literally my favorite restaurant. I was shocked at the portion size and the consistency of the clam chowder we got today! For $6.99 a bowl, I would expect a decent size bowl! If that wasn't bad enough the consistency was like water!! To top it off, they gave us two tiny little biscuits. I guess they figure the 6 packages of saltines is better than the biscuits.

I took my husband for his bday. The waiter messed up our order, we ordered 2 filet mignon and lobster dinners. Only received 1, waiter assumed my husband only wanted the Alicante why idk when waiter repeated our order to us. Approx 20 min later 2nd plate arrives not filet mignon but t bone instead. (I waited for his plate to come before I began to eat.) My steak was raw, rice pilaf over cooked and dry and crunchy. Waiter took my plate to cook meat longer. (20 min for my plate to come back) the bisquets were dark brown and fall hard. Those came after we got a classic margaritas that were not blended, on the rocks instead. Waiter assumed that's what we wanted. Being there 2hours , we did not eat together everything was not the red lobster standard. I complained to mgr(s) one said she would replace our meals. Then after speaking and being tossed to the other mgrs the general Mgr Eileen Le Ue I think is correct spelling yelled over the phone at me and cussing. I went to restaurant 4 different times then Eileen says that she was told that I given the host a bad time and said to leave or she will call the cops on me and my friend who witnessed the past 7 days of having every Mgr day they will make it right. General manager at Santa maria location needs to learn correct communication skills. She was extremely rude. Never in my 59 years been treated this way. I to used to work in the restaurant business it had blown me away on how she treated a customer that went to that location numerous times. She needs NOT to be in that field. Unbelievable I'm still at awe of how the restraunt treated a customer after especially paying over $165 for two uncooked plates not served same time. And the lobster was so chewy and fishy TASTES TERRIBLE

The place was extremely slow only 2 other customers in the place and we were there for almost 2 hours. It took forever to order and then to get our food was a very long wait on top of that. The food was pretty good but expensive. The waiter was super friendly she didnt really check on us at all. We didn't get refills on our drinks, It was a bad experience.

Today I went with my family, we ordered some drinks and ordered a dish The service was a bit arrogant, there was a party going on and there was some uproar. But because of this we waited more than an hour for our dishes which never arrived. We canceled the order and another person came to tell us that they were about to leave and that we could have them for free.When I asked my family if they accepted, the waiter took it as an answer for him, turned away and we couldn't answer. We didn't go for that; we wanted a family meal. A table arrived after us and received their food first. It was unpleasant to feel the rejection and the arrogance. I wouldn't go back to this place. Food quality...we didn't know.

Their food has small portions but there prices are too much 😑

I can see why the place was so dead. Young Guy in the front was very friendly and I had gone in for a pickup order on a full chocolate cake. When I walked in, I was instructed to wait as the manager wanted to take care of this order personally and he sat me in a booth? Super strange and off putting from the beginning. From there the “manager” Trey comes over and just places the receipt down with a total. No service, no greet, and rude for no reason. I asked why he had me sit at this booth and just didn’t ring me up in front but stated the register was in the back. Once he came back just gave me my change and again nothing. Not sure why he’s managing but definitely needs to do a better job at customer service and being presentable if that’s who represents the company.

I ordered red lobster through door dash and they don't allow special requests. I personally called to request, extra butter, crispy fish and I checked the on the side box for the baked potato toppings. We received no potato toppings, only one butter and the fish was floppy. When I called to express my concern the phone line mysteriously went dead. We will not eat at the red lobster again.
