After a long day at work i craved for a pho. Found this place and even when i get off at 8:00pm i hurried to get there. I was able to find a table outside and was not sure if it was open because blossom and friends cafe is not blossom vietnamese food. But google map pointed me there. I called in and ask if they were open and lady said immidiately last order is 830. I was calling 825. I read on google they close at 930 so i was like ok. Then i said 1 pho. She was like which one. I told her i havent looked into their menu. She was like call back when you have seen it. Then i called again 826 answered 827 i think got my order then just took my name. She didnt ask anything else. I realized when i looked into the map again that the pho place is besides the one i was waiting at. Went to the place. Lady greeted me and i told her i ordered by phone and just wanted to pay. Then a couple came in and asked to be sitted. So i asked the lady can i eat here? She said yes and was very accomodating. I didnt want to make a fuss and just want to eat there but the chef came out and said he can put my order in a bowl cause it is much better. They already packed it for to go that is why. The place is cozy. People were welcoming (except for the lady who answered my call. It seemed she was like ready to go home). Free water. Ambiance was perfect. I left $20 tip because they deserve it. Even when i felt bad at first, but they made up for it big time. Definitely recommend this place.
I got “22. Bun Tom, Bo Nuong - Shrimp & Grilled Lemongrass Steak”. It was exactly what I wanted and had the flavors you’d expect (lemongrass etc.). I liked that the sauce was on the side and that payment was easy and fast (it’s through an app at the end, and 18% gratuity is included). The ambience was warming for dinner. The long community table inside was a bit odd to eat at since there’s a lot of stuff in the middle of it but overall I am satisfied and would return.
Ive been to Blossom several times now, and every time the food was delicious. The spring rolls are my favorite in the city, and the Chicken Pho (Pho Ga) is very yummy. Inside seating is comunal, and there are tables outside with heat lamplight. The last time I went in, the service was surprisingly not great. They were clearly very busy, but the waitress staff made no attempt to acknowledge us, and we had to flag them down for everything. This had never happened in the 3-4 times Id been there previously, but worth noting: service might be a bit slow at busy times. (We ate at about 8 on a Saturday night).
I’m a total pho snob and this place exceeds expectations. Excellent Pho Tai. Also, the Shaken Beef is delicious — tender, well marinated, perfectly cooked. Hip atmosphere with folks inside sitting on a large community table. Well done.
Delicious broth, slightly too salty for me, but very, very flavorful. Didn't need any additional sauces Just a dash of lemon. Portions are very healthy. I got the oxtail and it was delicious! The rolls are all excellent, super crunchy outside Ave moist inside, the salads are fresh and delicious and the pork chop was perfectly seasoned. Service is quick, friendly and with a smile. The decor is very open, light and inviting. Definitely will be coming back to try more of the menu. If you liked my review please give me a thumbs up 👍🏾 to let me know! Follow me for more fun reviews. 🙏🏾
Delicious broth on their pho. It was rich in flavor and had a nice fatty profile to it. Their bowls are moderately sized portions with high quality meats and other toppings. The interior had a nice family style atmosphere with a great selection of drinks.
Our second time already in less than 2 months, we really love the food. Place vibe music but the food is amazing!!!
Officially one of my favorite spots in LA! Everything about this place is PERFECTION. Stumbled upon this and am so glad we went in! Photos of almost everything we ordered. Definitely great portions to share and enjoy for appetizers. It was my first time having a Vietnamese crepe and I’m so happy I had it here! Spring rolls always slap so you knowwww that had to happen! The pho. I can’t even begin to explain and let you understand the flavorsssss. Wow. Please go and enjoy.
Delicious pho, I tried the beef flavor. Enjoyed the ginger lemon beverage as well. Great service and atmosphere would highly recommend!
Hands down, best Vietnamese restaurant I found in LA! The vibe is super trendy and fun. The Pho is DELICIOUS. Kevin is awesome as well and super helpful with his recommendations on dishes and generous with portions. Highly recommend!
Blossom is the best Pho and Vietnamese food in this area! So flavorful and a wide variety of dishes. Vegetarian options, as well. Amazing pho, egg rolls, and salads. I love to sit outside on a nice day at the picnic tables. And the staff are so nice.
So, I was in the area and needed to kill time. I’m glad I found the place. It’s super cute too. Whether solo, date night, with friends, etc. Anyway, if you follow me on here you know I’m a sucker for flavorful and CLEAN broth! I ordered the Oxtail pho, first time having it. And no regrets here. Came out piping HOT!!. The oxtails were meaty, tender, and falling off the bones! Lord. I ordered the #4, shrimp and chicken egg rolls. They were cool, but not my jam. All in all, 10 times outta 10, recommend.
Excellent Pho spot! Fresh spring rolls were delicious, vey good beer, wine and sake options and the pho absolutely hit the spot. Love the family style seating at the gorgeous red wood table. They are open for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend! I’ll be back for sure next time I’m in town.
This is my Go-to for Pho and Imperial rolls. I believe Blossom has several other locations. But it's good legit Vietnamese pho. It's a bit pricier, but the quality is worth it. I love the gigantic common table that spans the length of the dining room. Expect to share the table with others. Make a friend! Or if you need privacy, they have 7 or 8 outdoor picnic benches that can sit 4. On cold nights, the outdoor heat lamps and hot pho are a perfect combo. And make sure to share an order of imperial rolls to start. You must have the combo Pho rice noodle soup. The Bun noodle salad is perfect for hot summer days & nights. The rice dishes, especially the shaken beef and pork chop dishes are excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't fully enjoy the pork belly Mi (egg noodles) that much, but the pork belly was soft and flavorful. Like the crepe, maybe its great compared to other VN restaurants but the star is the Pho rice noodle soup. They also have a nice selection of wine, sake and beer, which gives Blossom a higher-end vibe.

Had such a lovely meal and a great first experience here this evening! The owner himself came out to serve our first dish of crepes and told us its history as it was a childhood comfort food staple for him. We tried so many unique dishes and he walked us through each dish! The food was wonderful, and the community feel was noticed and appreciated! Our only regret was not visiting sooner!

4.5 Star. Overall. Impressed. First word that came to mind. Walked in expecting a 3-Star encounter with MSG coma, pleasantly surprised that waiter says no MSG is added to broth. Authentic flavor, comparable to ones in the SGV, in fact — even much better than many of them! Would return if in the area. Adding it to my Would Return places. Decent price. Everyone’s speaking Vietnamese in the open kitchen. Adds a touch to the authenticity. 5 Star. Atmosphere. Not rundown and tackily maintained like most authentic Pho places. Edy comfortable, modern, classy, and relaxing. So glad someone up the experience. 4.5 Star. Service. Only one other party before me, service is a little slow compared to ones in the SGV (serviced minutes after ordering). But it’s okay. I’m not in a rush today. Bill was $21.16 after tips and 18% tax pre-added to the receipt. Good thing I don’t have to calculate how much to tip, but bad if I feel like tipping less if I happen to experience below par service. 4.5 Star. Food. Fresh, quality, authentic. Not horrible like normal pho places that down a bunch of MSG to cover up the poor taste. Decent portion, but about 1/4th smaller to what I’m used to. An appetizer and bowl of noodle still fed myself and my 6 year old well, with a little left to spare. #1 $5 spring rolls- with shrimp & pork. Very fresh and authentic. #31 $11.50 Rice Noodle Soup - Combination Waiter says no MSG added in broth.
Chicken pho was flavorful and fresh. Spring rolls were ok, but peanut sauce was excellent. I came on Monday evening and sat outside to eat with my partner. The restaurant is fairly casual but trendy. Service was quick and friendly. New groups of locals arriving every 10-15 mins had me feeling grateful we got there early (5:30) and with a small group. I don't eat pho very often, but I would definitely eat here again for a casual weekday lunch or dinner.
This neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant offers the kind of comforting food and charming décor that make you wish it were just around the corner from home. The service is genuinely friendly—our server was attentive and accommodating, even helping us change seats without hesitation. The menu includes noodle salads, a less common offering compared with the usual pho-focused lineups, and theirs is especially refreshing: bright with mint and lifted by a sweet-and-sour dressing. The pho selection is extensive, extending beyond the basics to include rarer options like oxtail and wagyu. While most dishes are satisfying and thoughtfully prepared, the pricing does sit noticeably on the higher side. Even so, the combination of hospitality, atmosphere, and well-executed dishes makes this a welcome neighborhood spot.
The pho and spring rolls were delicious but it’s on the pricier side, and when they’re super busy they seat people at this long table so you might end up sitting next to random people if you’re unlucky. Service is more on the slower end too when it’s busy, but the food is good so I do recommend checking out blossom at least once.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the west side. They actually serve the best pho! I like their noodle and broth. The combination of those are exquisite. This has been always my first choice when I want pho! Spring rolls are also really good!
Shrimp and pork spring roll had a good ratio of lots of greens and not too much vermicelli rice noodles inside. Pho noodles were the perfect al dente texture without feeling gummy. Broth had great aroma but the flavor of the broth is more of a light, refreshing taste On the pricier side but not bad at all, considering there aren’t many options for Vietnamese food in West LA. They have beautiful indoor seating and several outdoor tables. Curious to try the other dishes in the future.
Solid Pho on the west side, with shared tables. All of the staples are there, with some specialty items like crab noodles and fried rice. Pho Ga was pretty good, as were the spring rolls

Generally speaking, as a Vietnamese, l'd say this restaurant is just okay. The food and service are acceptable but the place is so small that everyone needs to sit on the street, even under the hot weather. Also, the price is overpriced I must say. Our family got a glass of iced tea for $4.25 which is the same price as coffee with condensed milk and lemonade. Then we asked for a refill, they never mentioned it's not allowed but charged us for the second glass, so it's $8.50. The last thing is the food price, can you imagine that you have to pay the meat and vegetable with the same price? It'd definitely be great if they sell products like that in market! Honestly, I think it's kind of unreasonable to pay the same price for pork & shrimp banh xeo and vegan banh xeo which only has tofu and mushroom. We are 4 people but have to pay almost $100 for a breakfast.
Service was spotty. They needed one more server. There is better pho out there, but maybe not in this area. First mover advantage. Good for them.
I did a little bit of research on where to go for Pho in Los Angeles, and this place had a decent amount of reviews and the location was pretty close to where we stayed. When we came in to this restaurant, there were plenty of tables. We then ordered the Pho Dac Biet and Pho Tai, Bo Vien for lunch. After I tasted the rice noodle soup, I’d say the broth was a bit salty and very oily on the surface, and the rest was okay. And the overall customer service was not very good because we just got someone helped us with the order and pay the bill.

We didn’t realize the set up of the restaurant before hand so that was our bad. But from the photos we couldn’t tell that it is just one big table and you sit very close to other people. You can hear their entire conversation. The whole vibe is weird and super loud. Couldn’t hear each other sitting just across the table. Very average food, bland vegetarian soup and broth. Also only came with like 2 mushrooms and 2 carrots. Mostly just a ton of noddles and bland soup. Not worth the price. We also expected the bo bun to have meat or veggies but it was just 2 spring rolls with noddles. Very bland as well. Service was below average. Overall not a pleasant dining experience.
This place has gone off a cliff, I loved it when it opened years ago. I got the shrimp pho, which had literally three shrimp in it. They didn't taste great...The broth was quite salty but lacked actual depth of flavor. Portion size overall was shockingly small, I left the restaurant 30 dollars out and still hungry. Service was abysmal, I was not checked on once and had to get up and track the waitress down to pay. It was lunch hour, so maybe they just don't care about lunch. Will not return, go anywhere else for your pho cravings.
When we first walked in, the hostess just stared at us. No “hi,” no “how many,” nothing. It was super awkward until I finally said, “Uh hi, 3 and a highchair please.” She just said “ok” and kept staring… we weren’t sure if it was seat yourself or what. Another lady came to take our order. I asked if they had a kids menu (not a big deal if they didn’t), she said no. I asked if we could get a smaller portion for my 2-year-old and she flatly said no again, but with this attitude like I was wasting her time. Honestly made the whole table uncomfortable. I ordered the combination pho and asked if I could swap the tendon for shrimp. She first said no substitutions, then said it would be $7 extra. Didn’t make sense since I wasn’t adding anything, just swapping — and the shrimp pho on the menu was cheaper than the combo anyway. I let it go, but when it came out there were only four shrimp in the whole bowl. On top of that, they weren’t deveined, and the first one tasted almost plastic/chemical. The second one had an earthy taste but not in a good way. We also ordered Thai iced teas, but they didn’t bring them until after we were completely done eating. Then the bill came, and this part really bothered us. My husband and I both ordered the combination pho, but our friend ordered just brisket pho. The receipt literally said “Combination pho – no tendon, no tripe, no rare steak”… so basically they rang her up for the most expensive pho, removed all the other meats, left just brisket, and still charged her the full combo price. The broth itself was good, but the whole experience was stressful and not worth it. LA has hundreds of pho places with way better service and atmosphere. What sucks is we’ve ordered takeout from here before and it was always great — but actually dining in? Definitely not the same.
The Pho was very mediocre made for middle American tastebuds,it also came out cold. Many better options, for Pho in the area.Although the atmosphere was very nice and the plates were cute .Unfortunately the food did not rival the plateware or atmosphere. A good place to take a date, who is taste challenged and is from the Midwest or Deep South.Truly the kind of place i would take a relative from out of town (Who i could not stand).
Blossom Vietnamese is just not good. The location and atmosphere are great but everything else falls short. Service was slow, inattentive easily confused and seemed to get orders wrong. The food is bland, boring and doesn't have the right flavors. I wasn't expecting authentic Vietnamese food in West LA but it just completely misses the mark. Not even worth it for take out. Oddly the wine selection was better than you'd expect. Prices are high for what you get. Overall not worth trying even if desperate for Vietnamese food.

Unauthenticated, overpriced Vietnamese food. The grilled beef rolls were passable but the vegetarian pho was tasteless and only had a tiny bit of tofu and vegetables. They also automatically added the 18% tips in the bill. Never again.

Super disappointed. Started with weak hot tea, no flavor. First dish ordered was the bahn xeo, absolutely flavorless, with the meat being extremely dried out and unflavored, this is my favorite dish so know its potential. Next was the pho gai, or chicken Pho soup. When I say it was so salty, I could barely swallow the broth. Nasty. Had to choke down the dry meat and undercooked noodles to get the full picture, and it was just a full waste of time and money. Super disappointing... two classic dishes for 20 a piece.. go somewhere else if you enjoy this cuisine. Service below par, not once did they ask how my meal was, had to ask for the check twice to get away from the broken outdoor heater and uncomfortable pic-nick table and off to find better food.
I ended up with a metal wire bristle through the roof of my mouth and nerve pain that lasted for weeks. This could have been a life changing event if I had swallowed it. I didn’t make any fuss and simply showed the staff what happened, they comped the meal and we got up and left before we even got started on the dinner. They acted as expected and I could see the poor kitchen staff was anxious. I had stopped thinking about it until I met a couple out in town who mentioned the same thing happened to their daughter months before. I tried to get a hold of the owner multiple times for the last few months but the staff says he is in Australia and they just keep passing along my phone number.
Never go here at the end of the day. Staff is more focused on leaving than on taking care of the customers. They didn’t let us know the kitchen and bar were closing and then quickly took away the plates and bowls. The server put her thumb in the bowl making it an uncomfortable end to the meal. Food is good but the service at closing really put me off.
Unfortunately this was a terrible experience. The oxtail soup noodles came with large amounts of tendon and tough muscle meat that were extremely chewy and basically impossible to eat. We also had to remind the staff three times to bring our other order after we had already started eating. When the pork belly egg noodles finally arrived, the egg was fully cooked (hard-boiled) and the pork belly was overcooked and very tough — again, not edible. I don’t know what was going on in the kitchen that day, but between the food quality and the service, the experience was really disappointing. We won’t be coming back.

Cute place, but the food was disappointing. My friend ordered pho and I ordered noodles. The soup tasted oddly sweet, and the noodles had a strange, plastic-like texture. I was also uncomfortable seeing the server’s long nail dip into my soup. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
