Great happy hour! Also the best all you can eat sushi in town, it’s amazing any way you get it. Fish is fresh, service is excellent, and it’s got a great atmosphere. I enjoy coming here every time, always worth it!
(Daughter) mother day. Happen to stumble across this sushi restaurant. A little skeptical that it was all you can eat for such a reasonable price. A diamond in the rough most definitely will be visiting often. Staff was sweet, amazing, clean and comfortable environment.
The food here is always fresh and hefty. I had the dinner all you can eat special. I was full. I wish I had more room in my tummy to fit more food during the time I was there. The service was good except for that other tables who ordered after us got their meals before we got ours. They have a restroom for the customers and metered parking is available when it is not during peak hours for the area. Thank you.
Life changing. Rarely do you find a place where you can taste the pride put into the dish in every bite. Every piece of sushi tasted of joy and raw fish. The quail egg shooters changed me on a fundamental level, never have i eaten something that made the world around me disappear. All i was focused on was each delightful gulp of egg, not even my friends could get my attention. The prices for all-you-can-eat are very reasonable for the size of sushi rolls given, the chefs are not stingy. And if you have a designated friend to be the black hole thay eats all the leftovers at the end, its all worth it. Definitely recommend. Try. The. Quail. Egg. Shooters.
The atmosphere was nothing special. But the waitress that we had was amazing and the food was great. We paid thirty seven A person And we shared six rolls we both had two pieces of nagiri.
It’s been a long time since I have been here and I am so happy to have reconciled. The restaurant was clean and while still having some traffic it stayed peaceful. For the first time today we had the Salmon skin hand roll, which was so cute and delicious! Lion king is a must get, and the Ceviche roll was delicious although I do recommend a serrano on each slice because when included on the inside it’s unevenly distributed and the spice is extremely important when it comes to ceviche, pairing it all together. Thank you for the delicious meal 💕
Would I say they are the best Sushi Restaurant? I wouldn't say that. But they deserve the 5 stars because they are a very good choice for a Sushi Outing and the food product is quite good! You can't beat the deal though. All You Can Eat Sushi made to order for under $30 is a ridiculous steal for this restaurant. It is not conveyor belt sushi and it is not pick-n-pull buffet style sushi. The grade of their fish is very good quality and my first outing to this restaurant I wasn't sure about the freshness. Then I see them butchering a fresh caught Tuna and Salmon right in the restaurant. If you love sushi and don't want to break your bank, come to Paradise. And if you need a taxi, call Redwood Taxi ;)
We accidentally ordered from here instead of San Rafael. They were so helpful and called the San Rafael location to transfer the order. Thank you very, very much!
So good, wowzah. Friendly folks and great atmosphere. The Aguachile was phenomenal.
Always a great time for all you can eat Sushi with the family. Little under 40 bucks a person and the rolls are good size and fresh. My favorite was their lime shrimp roll. Soooo good!
The wonderful woman who took my order over the phone last night was so sweet and thoughtful. This was just for pickup so I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I ordered less than an hour before they closed and they were still enthusiastic! The hand rolls are HUGE for an excellent price and delicious. My friend loved the California roll. Thank you for a marvelous experience.
Really, all the sushi is pretty decent, but what puts this place above and beyond all others (that ive been to) is their quail egg shooters. Ugh I feel embarrassed I can have like 30 of those! Id pay the whole AYCE dinner price just for those shooters theyre amazing!
Paradise Sushi & Grill in Santa Rosa offers a truly memorable dining experience that perfectly blends traditional Japanese cuisine with a unique Spanish twist. Their extensive menu features something for everyone, from sushi aficionados to those exploring Japanese cuisine for the first time. The menu stands out with its variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri options, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Some crowd favorites include the Dragon Roll, with its delicate balance of eel, avocado, and sweet sauce, and the Rainbow Roll, showcasing vibrant layers of fresh fish. For those who prefer something warm and hearty, the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box is a fantastic option, combining tender chicken with perfectly steamed rice and crisp vegetables. One of the highlights of the menu is their inventive sushi rolls with a subtle Spanish influence. The fusion rolls add a delightful twist, bringing unique flavors that you won’t find at a typical sushi restaurant. A must-try is the Paradise Special Roll, which combines savory and spicy elements in a way that’s both bold and comforting. The appetizers are equally impressive, with options like Gyoza and Tempura Shrimp setting the stage for a satisfying meal. For those looking for lighter fare, the Seaweed Salad and Miso Soup are classic staples done exceptionally well. Beyond the food, the experience is elevated by the warm and personable service. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the owner, Juan, often greets guests personally, sharing stories about how he and his four brothers started the restaurant. Their dedication to family values is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Juan’s enthusiasm and genuine hospitality make every visit feel special, and it’s no surprise that the restaurant now has four thriving locations. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a casual meal, Paradise Sushi & Grill delivers on all fronts. The combination of fresh, flavorful dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and a heartfelt story behind the restaurant’s origins makes it a standout in Santa Rosa. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their incredible offerings, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sushi experience with a unique and personal touch. Reviews by Siare Keating
This might be the second best sushi restaurant in Santa Rosa. We come here often and are more than impressed with how good the sushi was. The waiters are really good here with good service! I’ll be coming back often
Great service, everyone working seems to be happy and enjoying their day🤙 The rolls were and nigiri were delicious, and priced similar to most other sushi in the area. We loved our experience, I look forward to coming back and doing all you can eat when I have a few hours to hangout 😆 Fun sake flavors, decent pricing(less than other sushi places I’ve seen) Keep up the good work Paradise!!
Definitely our favorite sushi spot in Santa Rosa, we often get dinner here! Service is wonderful, sushi is great and right in the down town. Servers are so nice and so are the chefs! Highly recommend!
This sushi spot has been the favorite/go-to date for myself and my girlfriend for a couple years now. I give it a five stars because the sushi is great. I have always loved the rolls (which are not filled with rice in the middle like some of these 1 star reviews say) and the nigiri is my favorite. The head chef Juan is always a lovely face to see, the serving staff have always gone out of their way to make us feel welcomed, and honestly its always worth it. We go often enough to see new servers starting out and even when the night gets long, I never have a bad time here. Nobody is perfect, and mistakes happen, but when I ask my girlfriend if she wants to have a sushi date, we know it's going to be a good night. Tonight we waited maybe 10 minutes and we sat at like 545. Not bad for great food. Try this place, of course be a nice person, and the people here will show kindness in return. Thank you Paradise for being our fav restaurant in town. See you again next Friday ;)
We were there celebrating a birthday and the service was amazing. The food is always delicious. We had the margarita flight appetizer sampler which was so good ! All of the rolls we ordered were great- they forgot cream cheese on one but remade it right away.
Fresh seafood, perfect sushi rice, and great chefs made it a memorable sushi and sashimi dinner. Friendly guest relations attendants and a nice casual atmosphere. Price wise, it is to be expected but worth it. There were 3 of us, two large sakes and one beer plus dinner was less than $100.
Absolutely the best sushi I've ever had I personally been all over the world and tried Vegas rolls everywhere and this one takes the Cake and it's in little Santa Rosa how crazy I think that they have a five-star restaurant that's in Santa Rosa like this it is absolutely delicious! They were so kind even let us eat here inside even though they were closing and we ordered on the phone to go but they still let us join them to have our food here
Good food and very accommodating Staff. All of them are nice actually. Shout out to our server Emma, Thank You very much ❤️

I've lived in Santa Rosa for 2 years & I'm barely on this side of town. One day, my friend & I decided to grab some all you can eat sushi. She suggested this place & I was really surprised that little restaurants like this existed on this side of the highway. I honestly prefer it. Downtown is always busy with mall shoppers, beer bar hoppers & book lovers. It is almost impossible to find parking on that side. When I drove on this side, I was able to find parking quickly. Bring some change because there are meters here. & if you don't, they'll also take your credit card. This place gets packed easily so call ahead of time or enjoy a couple seats at the bar. My friend & I shared about 7 sushi rolls & we were stuffed. We didn't even eat prior to this. But it was totally worth it. For $20-something per person for all you can eat, do it. You will not regret it.
I love their portions and am always satisfied with service and quality of sushi. This is one of my favorite places to go alone to just revel in freshness. Highly recommend. I wish they would lower the volume of the music but that's a small price to pay for excellent food.

For an "All You Can Eat" Sushi Bar, it's really pretty good! I'm only giving 4 ⭐️ because the Shiro Maguro is seared, even for the Nigiri; that was super disappointing. They do, however, my favorite sake, "Sayuri," which I've found to be the best Nigori Sake! (Unfiltered) Service was wonderful, and they have the funnest 80's music playlist on the speakers! 10/10 will return!
This all you can eat buffet wasn't crowded when we first arrived and I was somewhat skeptical of our dining experience. The staff was friendly and after afew minutes we felt more comfortable. The staff gave us a menu which displays what is "all you can eat," which is alot of choices. There was three chef's preparing meals. After we arrived the place started to get busy. In looking at our pictures, we had more than our fill of sushi which was pretty good and for the "buffet" price, worth it!
Update. Just had dinner there august twenty eighth. It was awesome. The food was delicious. Check out the pictures. Is they explained at all. The food is good. I'd like to sit at the sushi bar.
$60 for two people all you can eat lunch from 11:00 till 3:00 p.m. Everything in white is on the lunch menu Everything in yellow is charged at the dinner price Overall it's pretty good! Nothing super crazy but I think for $30 it's definitely worth it if you can eat a lot of sushi

Went in to try a few happy hour apps and had a great time. The food was good and our server was awesome! He even did a few magic tricks for us at the table. The only reason it's getting 4 stars is because the restaurant itself needs a bit of maintenance. Overall a good experience.
Good sushi and seaweed salad. Large portions. Important to know veg tempura has been cooked in same oil as fishes!
Paradise Sushi and Grill is a well liked mid priced sushi restaurant that offers a broad menu of fresh sushi, specialty rolls, and hot grill items, making it easy to satisfy different tastes in one visit, and the fish tastes fresh, the rolls are well balanced, and portions are generous enough to feel worth the price, while the service is usually friendly and efficient and the dining room has a comfortable casual feel, even though it can get crowded during busy hours and the overall experience stays more familiar than unique.

Expensive, taste is ok and ingredients are not fresh. The Salad they served as appetizers were really sour, It's pretty hard to mess up the salad. So I already had an idea. We had three people and tried the sushi buffet, it's $40 each person, which is more expensive than Korean BBQ buffets. The rolls were pretty good but they have a lot of rice, thus filling you up faster. The sashimis were not very fresh and tasty. Overall the value of the buffet is not great. I guess this is the few sushi places Santa Rosa have, doesn't compare to sushi places elsewhere.
I got the Vegas roll and the ceviche roll for a late lunch. They were just fine. The price was very steep for the quality (2 rolls 1 ice tea, modest tip =50$). Admittedly, they were large and made quickly. They were playing loud spooky show tunes for Halloween. Can't see myself having an overpriced date or friend gathering there. Subpar food and terrible atmosphere.

Hands down the worst udon I've ever had. Everything was over boiled and soggy, it was mixed together like it was all cooked together. The vegetables were carrots, three slices of mushroom, and then a lot of zucchini and squash??? I've never in my life had squash in udon. They prepared it like a stew, even the broth just tasted like sauce.
Nope… not a Paradise for sushi lovers! Edamame was most likely microwaved (very hot and very mushy) - the sashimi was way too overpowered by the peppers and shiracha - both rolls very loose, sloppy done and not very interesting. The waiter at the door didn’t seemed very interested in introducing us to the menu and the location wasn’t cozy. Reading their own introduction to the place online is unfortunately so far from the actual experience - maybe the owner should either change the introduction on the website or train the staff as he claims to have been trained.

I stopped here for takeout lunch while at a conference nearby. The service was slow but the biggest concern is that they accidentally charged me for the dinner bento price instead of the lunch takeout price, then were unable to correct it, and did not seem particularly bothered or apologetic! I was told that the man who would correct it was too busy in the kitchen right now, so they would call or text me later to correct it. The ordeal took 15 minutes, and the whole take out experience was over a 40 min which was not speedy takeout lunch service! I never got a call or text, so still carry a $32 charge for lunch. Also I asked for spoons and soy sauce, and they said it was in the bags, and it wasn’t. Disappointing service all around. Do not recommend this if you’re in a rush, or if you prefer not to overpay.
Came here twice, once for lunch the other for dinner. The lunch was ok nothing special, the rolls available for the lunch menu are subpar, my biggest complaint and the reason for the 1 star is they served us water in a cracked glass that ended up hurting my husband’s mouth. The crack was from the top of the glass webbed down to the bottom. With the ice he didn’t notice at first, but the server should have seen it before serving. My husband is kind and didn’t want to make a big deal about it but I wish I could sue them for cutting his mouth.
Apparently the people reviewing positively haven’t had good sushi—absolute horrible sushi—someone is gaslighting here because it’s simply bad. And the aftermarket ginger is terrible…seriously, is it just me, or has the world gone mad? Stop accepting mediocrity!!
The sushi/rolls were terrible. The chefs clearly don't know how to handle fish; they were soggy and tasted stale. We regret coming to this all-you-can-eat place. I don't understand how it gets an average Google review score over 4. We were deceived by the Google review score! Regarding the service, the servers repeatedly brought us the wrong food that we didn't order. Due to the bad experience, I didn't tip well. However, upon checking my credit card bill, I noticed we were charged as if we had tipped generously. I don't usually leave reviews, but the experience was so bad that I felt compelled to say something.
I used to love this place. It seems like it was sold off at some point, or some other major change occurred. The sushi was stale and the fish was low quality. We ordered saki bombs and were given glasses with 5 oz of warm heiniken, and were told they only had hot saki (what?). They put pepper flakes on multiple rolls that did not say they came with that. Haku sushi is down the road and offers a cash discount. Night and day difference, go there instead.
The sushi at Oliver’s market and Safeway, is far superior to this. A roll consist of sparse at best, tiny paper thin half inch by quarter inch fish. Imitation crab, ( no real crab ). All the roll’s content, rice, imitation crab. Meaning, all you can eat, of this content, with marginal flavor. The individuals who work there and own it, perhaps, 3rd world. They have rules for when and how you can eat the ( so called ) sushi ( imitation crab and rice ). Spent a 100.00$, for this. Wasn’t sure what to expect. I and another thought we’d give it a go. MISTAKE !! Definitely not Japanese at all. It’s a make shift Hispanic establishment. The whole time there, I thought I would also be given tortilla chips and salsa. Thought about a burrito. That would have been better, less expensive too. This establishment is a dichotomy. It’s a waste of time and money….., Eat at a real sushi establishment, should you feel the need to go out. Should you not understand this. Then go experience it. Then go to Oliver’s or another food store and compare. Should you have any type of exposure to sushi and can discern. Avoid paradise. Buy yourself a pair of shoes instead. At least when you walk in them, you know your money was well spent.
I get there with my girlfriend and we try the all you can eat for our diner for 40$ each. With that price I was expecting to have very delicious food and happy dinner, but it was so disappointing. They bring rolls with no fish at all, they cut off most of the material, and add as most rice as they can, and it make the sushi not sushi any more. I took couple peaces then just left the place, they just destroy our weaken dinner. I would never come back here ever.
Extremely disappointing experience at Paradise Sushi. We came here because of the many positive Google reviews, but the reality was nothing like what we expected. This is advertised as an all-you-can-eat place for about $40 per person, yet the AYCE menu is incredibly limited — it only includes nigiri and rolls. No sashimi, no appetizers, nothing else. For that price, that’s already pretty underwhelming. On top of that, the sushi is packed with an absurd amount of rice. I have a small appetite, so for a couple of the pieces I ate the fish and left some of the rice. A tall staff member who appeared to be the manager repeatedly came over to point this out and warned us that we had to eat the rice. He kept emphasizing it multiple times in a very rude way, and then continued watching our table while we were eating, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and awkward. “If you don’t eat the rice, it will be charged separately”. He said. Two of the three rolls we ordered also tasted bad — especially the ceviche roll. So we did not finish them. Unimpressed with those two rolls, we asked the waitress for the menu to order a couple other items, the same staff member suddenly told us the kitchen would not make anything else until we finished everything we had already ordered. “You must finish eating everything before you can order more”. We asked where that rule was written. The waitress brought the menu, and the only thing it says is: “All items must be finished, including rice.” It does NOT say you must finish each round before ordering more, and it definitely doesn’t explain what happens if you don’t. The rule itself is already ridiculous — are you seriously policing customers over a few grains of rice? For $40 per person, the food quality, the extremely limited menu, and the hostile, uncomfortable service made this one of the worst sushi dining experiences we’ve had. There are plenty of better sushi places around — save your money and avoid this one.
