The food here is great! There is no lack of flavor and the customer service is equally as awesome! I ordered the surf and turf fries. It was a hefty portion that had plenty of carne asada and grilled shrimp. The restaurant was clean and organized and the lady at the counter was very helpful. I will come back to try some other dishes!

Traditional restaurant and only local people. You get a lot of food for your money, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, service was quick, bathrooms were clean. Variety of options, good for the whole family. I tried few items you can see in the pics. My favourites are Barrio taco and elote, they are the best in this city. Ample of parkings

What a fun entrance to this most delicious Mexican Food establishment. Google maps didn't lead us wrong. We enjoyed every bite we took. We ended up getting the bad hombres burrito wrapped in a cheese quesadilla. Fantastic!!! We also got the 2 red taco plate and potato rolled tacos. We took about half home as portions were large. The personnel here were quite friendly. We will be back to try the street corn and the machacca tacos soon. Oh, I'm sure we will try more than that. Go check this place out!!!

Needs to be cleaned. It could use and update. I love their sign but the sign doesn't match the onsid aesthetic. Food is actually good though. Good service.

“The food was really good — it honestly tasted like a healthier version of Mexican food, which I appreciated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was nice overall. The only thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn’t a salsa bar, which I thought was a little unusual for a Mexican restaurant. Other than that, everything was great and I’d definitely come back!”

I think the building is an old Taco Bell. This place has the very best rolled tacos. I have eaten rolled tacos from all over SD and this is way ahead of everyone else. The staff enjoys them self. Atmosphere is light. Not to serious. I like that.

Bad Hombres is a solid Mexican place located in Santee, CA. We were pleased with the meal - service was stellar and they are quick! Great salsa (both green and red) for our carne asada burrito!

I judge a mexican food place mainly by just the simple carne asada burrito.And there's was nothing special, just average the same chewy carne asada that everybody else seems to be selling nowadays.So that's about all and I got a bean and cheese burrito.But how can you screw one of those up?But either way, they had great service, the people were friendly again.The food wasn't bad by any means it was just your average carne asada burrito.So that's my review on this place.And yes, I would eat there again. And just when you think they can't screw up a bean cheese burrito I ordered rice on my bean and cheese burrito and there is no rice on my burrito.So they can't screw up a bean and cheese burrito with rice by not putting the rice on

Im not the guy who complains so please hear this out. We usually order from Bad Hombres every Week. This Sunday we did breakfast burritos and they were delicious but...not what we ordered. Ordered no ham but extra bacon, Habanero salsa on the side. We took them home and.. no bacon in 1 burrito, but left in ham. No Habanero, no napkins. Called to speak to the manager, didn't want new burritos just to let him know the burritos were not what we paid for. After a hold was told the manager wasn't available. Ive had a few other time food was wrong . Will I order here again yes because the food is great, but please get it right.

I eat at this restaurant at least once a week consistently. Usually their food is great. Ordered the Pollo asada burrito last night, to my surprise, the chicken inside the burrito was hard, and burnt. Ended up calling them today and told them about it, and they said sorry about that. When I asked them if I could get a new one next time I came in, they said there's nothing hey could do. I explained to them that I eat there all the time, but they didn't seem to care much. Super disappointed. Gonna take my business elsewhere from now on.

Cashier with green hair took our order which she messed up twice while ordering, she told me I needed to be specific, 2 tacos, rice and beans x2 and a burrito, if that order confuses you then cashier probably isn't your thing, we sit down with 3 drinks, our order comes out, only 2 of us get food, we go order again, a burrito, when it comes out its a plate of meat, receipt on the bag says burrito with no tortilla, they take the food away and come back to tell us we never paid for the burrito, how did you process the order if it didn't get paid? at this point I asked for a refund, we had already waited for the food a second time so our food was cold, we couldn't start eating while one person waits.

I went to this taco shop and ordered three different items. I drove all the way home to find an item was missing from my order. In my bag was someone’s half eaten corn with a spoon inside. (See picture attached). They were not willing to compensate us in any way. They wanted me to come all the way back to the taco shop to remake my order, but were unwilling to refund me. I hardly ever write reviews, but this one was disappointing!
