I particularly didn’t like the duck but this place is a hiding gem! Amazing experience!

The Scallop dinner is ok but you get 3 Scallops for dinner. That is $13 per Scallop. Lol

This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Sarasota. We just went for a second time this week and it was incredible once again. Chef Antonio provides a dining experience that must be experienced and at a very fair price. The flat bread short rib appetizer, mushroom soup, and the pork ossobuco will be the best comfort food combination you will have in Sarasota.

First time since Chef Antonio took over in May. Was always a pleasant time, but tonight was a whole new and really wonderful experience. Compares very well with Indigenous. Our recent dining experience at The Reserve by Chef Antonio was nothing short of grand. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for what we all agreed was an unforgettable evening.v
The restaurant's interior is tastefully decorated, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm. Soft lighting and comfortable seating created an intimate setting. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about the dishes. The timing of each course was perfectly paced.
The highlight of the evening was, of course, the food. Every dish was a masterpiece, both in presentation and flavor. Our dinners were cooked to perfection, with flavors that were rich and complex yet perfectly balanced. The portions were generous, and each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. Our deserts were the perfect ending to the meal, a sweet and indulgent treat. The Reserve by Chef Antonio exceeded all our expectations. We had a lovely meal at this restaurant while staying at the Reserve Retreat. The service was excellent, the ambience was spot on and the food was delicious. We were only sorry that we were not staying in the area longer to be able to return for another wonderful meal. This is a real asset to the area and would recommend everyone to try it.

We absolutely loved our dinners. I had Chicken Marsala and my spouse had Tomahawk Veal with mushroom sauce. It was FABULOUS. Thank you to Chef Antonio and his awesome attentive staff. ❤️

First time at the reserve. The food was excellent. I got the fettuccine and lobster. The flavors were unbelievable. Everything was excellent, lovely atmosphere. You can actually hear each other talk. Highly recommend.

Chef Antonio is amazing ! Directly from Italy, what a treat !! The food the service and the after dinner limoncello and chef Antonio & Elena’s attention to our table was second to non ! Party of 4 went for Birthday dinners. Absolutely no complaints from any of us. Highlights were the Caesar salad, Filet Mignon Carpaccio and the service. Will definitely return. Lovely atmosphere.

Delicious food great service… one of the best restaurants in Sarasota

A superb dinner at The Reserve! The Parmesan eggplant roll and marinara meatball appetizers were a great start to the meal and joined with warm bread with a delicious cheese, honey and black olive jam. The shrimp and gnocchi entree and the spinach ravioli with ricotta were phenomenal! The tiramisu dessert was the best we had ever had! The presentation, the ambiance, the service was outstanding!! A perfect 5 Star rating!

What to say? I’ve already written rave reviews — and then I went again last night, and every moment was pure delight. The food, the service, the ambience: everyday words, but here they’re delivered with beauty and dignity. Seamless. Delicious. A little bit magical. And the space itself is wondrous — the former home of Charles Ringling. If you’re looking for something genuinely different, elevated and unforgettable, this is the place.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and We loved it... The location is like being in Europe and service is amazing. The Chef Antonio always come and greet the customers and even suggest few things. They are very open to change the plates and make you feel incredible. My husband ordered the lamb chops and they are a MUST, very tender and tasty. I ordered the clam fettucini very flavorful. Eventhough that they were closing at the end they gave us time to drink our wine. We recomend this place 100% and We are looking forward to come back pretty soon.

So glad we finally got to try this local gem nestled in the heart of Sarasota for some home run hitting dishes. Short Rib Flat Bread, Eggplant, Lobster Bisque, Fresh Pasta with Key West Shrimp. Service was exceptional & always checking in, love the vibe of this historic home turned into an Italian culinary tour. Looking forward to our next visit.

We are fortunate to have this unique chef-centric restaurant in Sarasota. Every meal here has been amazing, and my daughter always begs to return for her favorite lobster bisque. We came to this restaurant on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! It is good, authentic food that doesn’t leave you feeling overstuffed like American food.

Went for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was exceptional! The service, the romantic atmosphere, the music playing, and the food! We loved the entire night, and they went out of their way to make my husband feel special on his birthday! Thank you, we will be back!

New Year's Eve dinner was excellent! Just arrived from Pennsylvania and had to immediately have dinner at one of our favorite restaurants here in Sarasota!

What an amazing dining experience. Such a quaint and cozy setting hides a fabulous restaurant. We went for the Savor Sarasota experience, and we will definitely return to try the full menu. Our service was impeccable, the food delicious and the timing between courses was perfect. The owner came out to greet each guest, which was a lovely touch.

Elena's service was beyond exceptional. The calamari, grouper and penne pasta was amazing, with flavors that would not stop. I was in the business and I cannot compliment this entire experience enough. You must try this incredible restaurant. They have the best selection of wines,a staff that cannot be beat and chef/owners that are culinary experts.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. We had the Parmigiana Tower and a Cesar salad to start and they were both very good. My wife had the Deep Diver Sea Scallop Risotto and I had the Lobster Risotto and they were excellently prepared and presented. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive and we also spoke to Chef Antonio. Highly recommend you give this new restaurant your support.

Italian cuisine lovingly prepared. Our order taker was the chef's wife and the service was excellent. Beer and wine only, no cocktails. Cozy atmosphere in a restored home.

The food was subpar at best for the prices. My Salmon was raw in the middle, the veggies were gross, and it really needed more seasoning. Kinda tasteless. My girlfriend's lobster risotto was pretty much tasteless too! The wine was amazing though! I wouldn't go back.

The food takes a long time to arrive. It's crowded and noisy. The prices are reasonable. The food is average.

We went here to celebrate an anniversary and left kind of disappointed. We rarely splurge for nicer restaurants and were excited to try it after reading all the positive reviews. From the front window you could see some of the food being cooked in the microwave by the chef and the bread came out in a brown paper bag after most likely being microwaved. The staff were super friendly but we don't think it was worth what we paid for it and probably won't be back.

We got our last dinner of 2025 here. We expected to get a high standard Italian cuisine. However, it was not the case. The "parmigiana" rolls, "Risotto", pork ossobuco were just ok, nothing more. The "pappardelle" was uncook, not " al dente " and the meetballs came with small pieces of bones. The Tiramisu came with heavy cream on the top. That is not Italian. I think that they can do it better.
