The Ocean Club Restaurant

We spent the afternoon beach house shopping and wanted to finish our evening with dinner in Seaside Heights. Strangely, this restaurant did not come up when we were doing seafood restaurant near me. But we just kept walking on the boardwalk around the boardwalk until we stumbled onto this beautiful building and we saw that had massive outdoor seating and also an extension that was right in front of the beach so you can sit there in the sand and just watch the sunset. Love everything about it we decided to just have tapas: we had these clams, drunken clams, with Faso bread, glaze with garlic and herbs, really delicious shrimp cocktail and we had the grandma pizza without the sausage. The pizza was OMG so delicious the seafood was fresh and very tasty. We had assortment of drinks and we just enjoyed the air the outside decor , roaring of the ocean and people laughing and talking. Loved it loved it better than long branch restaurants. The staff was very upbeat useful and very friendly. They had a nice band playing down 5five star.

We got married here on Friday 3/14/25 Well I do agree that the service was slow the place was packed eould have preferred a variety of music playing as opposed to just country but that's neither here or there. I wasn't a fan of the high chairs but the view is the reason I chose this place. The food was fair, but I didn't feel like the server wasn't very attentive considering I was spending a lot of money here I felt the service could have been more available i had to hunt my server down a few times. The manager Casey was very good she kept constant communication and was very helpful. While the server did help with some things I ended up cutting my own cake and boxing it because I didn't feel like waiting around and some of my guests wanted to leave we drove over an hour and a half to be here. We all agreed it was the perfect venue and they did work with my budget we enjoyed ourselves and anticipate coming back in the spring to watch the sunset and enjoy the beach.

The BEST calamari around, hands down!! We visited on a Monday, lunch time and sat outside. It wasn’t crowded and we had great service. The house wine was great, their pizza and salads were great but the calamari were the best ever- so crispy and with delicious breading.

This was the perfect way to spend our beach day! It ended up being cloudy so we decided to get some lunch! Best decision! Kaitlyn our server was so fun! Not to mention the food and drinks were delish!

First and foremost, Jesse our server was attentive and so pleasant. He made our night. While my wife and I line danced, he kept our drinks full and food coming. And Rachael Snyder of Fancy Feet line dancing kept the music and dances going all night. We will be back. Thank you for a fun, fun Tuesday night.

Perfect spot for a bite to eat ! This restaurant is huge, seating everywhere & not a bad seat anywhere ! I absolutely recommend if weather permits to choose outside seating. The decor is perfect along with a full on view of the beach, totally relaxing. Inside there is a big bar area & a band that plays as well with huge space for dancing. The food was delicious as well ! Guess we found a new place to eat when we make our way to the shore !

This is such a fun spot if you want some good views. The service all around was phenomenal. The food was good, and great portions, not anything life changing. I would skip the Pimento Dip but everything else was good. Will definitely go again when back in town. They also had mice music which was nice.

We went to Ocean View for their Tuesday night burger special at the bar (from 4 to 6). The burgers and fries were delicious and there's a Happy Hour price on some of the drinks. Also, nice view and good bartender.

Won a raffle from a nice DJ! Good atmosphere and nice views. Server was professional and patient. We had burgers. They give you a big bottle of water to pour which is nice. New and very clean establishment. Gentrification at its finest hehe.

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and very attentive, offering answers to all of my questions. I came in because it was a Saturday and they had plenty of TVs to watch college football. Once I was here I decided to get a Lobster Roll and man was it goood!! I usually never eat my fries but these had a perfect amount of crispy and seasoning. I definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing from our appetizer, drinks, meal and our server Kaitlyn was excellent no complaints! Would totally recommend and come back!

It was hot inside, but to be expected with the open area. Food was great and so was our server, she was on it 👌 Had chicken bacon ranch pizza, awesome and fresh. Drinks were good too, a little lackingbin alcohol though.

Had a great experience here! The food was amazing and Colleen O. was a great server. Greg and Maria were quick to serve drinks and did a fantastic job! Having the live band was great and made the restaurant a great place to hang out at night.

7/25 celebrating our cousins birthday….Danielle our server was outstanding! Give this girl a raise! She went above and beyond. Very attentive and was the boss as a server! Danielle made this event the absolute best time ever! Thank you.

We love OV and frequent on our trips to Seaside Park. The food and service are excellent. Tom at the bar is a prime example of this exemplary service. He is an absolute beast! He never stops and continues to serve at an extraordinarily high level. He is one of the reasons we keep coming back!

I love this place. Hidden Gem towards the end of the boardwalk! The food is always amazing and never disappoints. We had Steak Bites. Well seasoned food and the dipping sauces was spectacular! Tom at the bar is awesome with the customer service. The whole bar tending staff was attentive and took care of each customer like they were truly special. The energy in this place is upbeat and refreshing. This is our SEASIDE get away spot. Well done!

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Nate, and he was truly fantastic! From the moment we sat down, he was warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, made excellent recommendations, and ensured every part of our meal went smoothly. Nate’s positive energy and genuine care for his guests really stood out—he made us feel like VIPs. If you’re lucky enough to have Nate as your server, you’re in for an amazing dining experience.

Just had to shout out Tommy for being the BEST bartender. We were definitely a bit more complicated with our drink orders and food requests and he handled it all with ease and truly happily for us!! The icing on the cake was when the restaurant ran out of ranch, he ran across the boardwalk to get us some making our entire meal!!! Service was impeccable and Tommy had us not wanting to switch bars all night long! THANK YOU TOMMY!

Loved it here! Spent a long weekend in Seaside Park with two girlfriends and we ended up here every night. One of the biggest reasons we kept coming back was because of the bartenders. We had Greg, Thomas, Jody and Pamela. They were fantastic and so fun to chat with while we were enjoying the drinks and music. I couldn’t believe how attentive they were to every customer - definitely kept the drinks flowing. The outdoor space is awesome & appreciated the way they decorated the inside. Super cute. Highly recommend coming here!

Tracey was our bartender and she was fantastic! I am a bartender so I have a high-bar (ha!) and she definitely exceeded expectations. We all had different drinks and each were perfect. The Bloody Mary is one of the best I’ve had and me and my picky aunt lived the espresso martini. The food was exceptionally good. The pizza was unexpectedly delicious. I had the Mac and cheese which was really good. My family had the drunken clams and seared tuna and they loved it. All around this place is top notch! Thanks Tracey for a great experience. We will be back

I have to say the vibe here is nice, but what made it really great was our server emily, we've also seen her working at the pool. In the age of so many people rushing you not caring about you, it was easy to see that our waitress really cared about our experience was very nice and very attentive to us. She really made our time at this place ocean view amazing. I have to say sometimes people that sit you here don't seem to care like their heads in the clouds but Emily took care of us and change their mind about this business. I really hope that one day they promote her to manage it because if everybody acted like her this would be one of the best places in seaside.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Ocean View Restaurant , and while the food was delicious and the ambiance inviting, what truly elevated the entire experience was our server, Jesse. From the moment we were seated, Jesse was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. Jesse had an exceptional knowledge of the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that matched our tastes perfectly—including recommendations for drinks that turned out to be spot-on. What impressed me most was Jesse’s ability to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. Our glasses were never empty, empty plates disappeared like magic, and any special requests we made were handled with ease and a smile. They managed multiple tables with grace, yet made us feel like we were their top priority all evening. Little touches—like remembering our names, accommodating a last-minute dietary request without hesitation, and checking in just the right amount—made the experience feel personal and genuinely cared for. Service like this is rare and deserves recognition. Jesse turned a great meal into a memorable one, and we’ll absolutely be returning—not just for the food, but for the outstanding hospitality.

Such a lovely place. The cocktails were amazing, and the food was delicious. Our server, Kaitlyn D, gave us such good recommendations when we were indecisive and had a vibrant and welcoming personality. 10/10 recommend for great drinks and a fun atmosphere.

We had the best time for a Saturday fun day and it was all because of Kaitlynn. She was so attentive, fun and I would come back 100 times if she was my server each time! Food and atmosphere was awesome as well but Kaitlynn really put this place over the top!

We came for a late night dinner and wasn’t disappointed. Calamari was good, ribeye steak sandwich was amazing but the show stopper was the lobster Mac and cheese. It was fabulous creamy, tasty and lots of lobster. Service was great just a little loud for the late slate of football games but great ambiance.

10 stars! The private party (reception to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming wedding) we had in the restaurant’s Beach Area was AMAZING! Casey (the event coordinator) and our servers Ella and Julia were the best! We had a family party for approximately 35 adults and 13 children under 10 and were offered the blue couch area or the beach area. We picked the beach area and it was great, especially for the kids! While we had free access to the band area and dance floor, our beach area was private. We could hear the band and dance on the sand, and there were many picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and even corn hole. We were able to set up decorations and even lighting. We chose the open bar (beer, wine, sangria) for 4 hours and the choice of 4 passed horse devours for 2 hours (loved the spring rolls, mini cheeseburgers, Mac n cheese bites, and chicken fingers). Food and drink were plentiful!!! As I said - the experience was absolutely amazing. My family had such a great time we are thinking of doing this every year!

Was a overall experience 8/10. Me and my boyfriend traveled almost two hours down to get here. First we started off with the coconut mojitos was 100/100 absolutely amazing and they were strong but not too much that coconut real brings it together. We started off with the crab cake tots. They were 7/10 for taste but the crab cake was served kinda of cold but the tots were hot. My boyfriend proceeded to get the brisket Mac and cheese. Very disappointed I can’t even express how bad it was. The pasta was extremely undercooked and I mean it was chewy like it was sticking to our teeth. The brisket was also disappointing no flavor and came off rough. And for some reason the white cheese was mainly at the bottom?? Our waiter Patrick apologized after we told him and he took it off our bill and offered something else to try. We declined but we appreciate his kindness and service. We then go onto our entrees my boyfriend had the ribeye sandwich which he rates it a 8/10 very tender for a ribeye he says it melts in your mouth. Following with the sweet potato fries they were a 10/10!! I had gotten the lobster roll (my first one) and it exceeded my expectations! I would give it a 8/10 the only thing is it was smaller than expected but they give alot of lobster meat which I put some of my side Caesar salad which was amazing 10/10 across the board the sauce was different from any of the ones I’ve had before. I also had gotten some onion rings extra crispy. They were good a solid 9/10 can’t mess up onion rings am I right?! Overall a good experience I would say we would travel again for the entrees but the appetizers is a hard pass for us. Also recommend asking for Patrick he gave us bar recommendations and was honest about the menu with his favorites and not so favorites. We thank him again for his hospitality towards us!! Also forgot the live music was great played all the classics even though I’m a young soul LOL :))

This place serves quality food, but our bang bang shrimp was saggy. The pizza, ribeye and antipasto were def a 4.5. Drinks come fast and food also was ready in a decent time. The service in this place outshine the food. Then, the many areas to chill is def where the money is. In or outdoor seating is available and there is plenty. Overall, it was a great experience for a reasonable price. Def recommend this place if you want to have an Amazing time

Definitely an Ocean view, but uncomfortable seating... Cold temperatures inside off season so just be aware of that and bundle up a bit. Food was definitely good and portions for the starters were very adequate. You could essentially get a bunch of starters and have a small plate meal. That would be really wonderful. The entrees were great and the waitress suggestions were on point. Definitely a solid experience.

Stopped here for dinner with the fam. Nice place on the ocean side of the boards. Place was packed, service was excellent food was decent. We had a bacon cheeseburger, a stuffed chicken dish a 14 oz steak and a pizza. The mussels and clams appetizers were the best.

The old south pier that was destroyed by Sandy was rebuilt with a hotel and restaurant - no more rides. Went there for lunch during a day trip because my son wanted salmon. The restaurant is huge with large indoor and outdoor dining areas. Went for lunch. Food was pricey - but that's everywhere 3 years into Bidenomic inflation - but good, though the fish in one of my fish tacos smelled bad but I was full at that pint and didn't eat it. Staff was very pleasant and the service was good. Drinks were cold and good. Probably wouldn't go back for much because it's expensive, but if I were staying multiple days, I'd go for dinner

Its a big place, so the atmosphere is certainly not cozy, large square bar that seems efficient, but a bit cold and clinical, really geared to party time with large groups of young party goers. The outside area is quite nice, especially the lower area right on the beach, the palm trees are a nice addition.

Upon arrival to the restaurant we waited our turn to approach the hostess stand. We had assumed there would be a wait as it was dinner time on a Tuesday in July. We stepped up and were quickly ignored followed by Hostess - 2? In a annoyed tone Yes two. Hostess - It's a 45 minute wait Okay. Hostess - Phone number for text. We gave our phone number and walked away to pass the time. Almost 45 minutes later with no text message. We walked back to see how much longer. This is when we were advised that our table has been ready but the text did not go through. Extremely strange but fine. We accepted the table by a different hostess. Once seated our waiter greeted us took our drink and appetizer order. Our drinks were delivered promptly as was the appetizer. We ordered our meals, while waiting he returned to check on us. Food was delivered and it was delicious. Check was a bit slow arriving. Overall a great experience. However, if we went solely based off of our first interaction with an employee at the restaurant and the absolute disregard for their error in writing down our phone number,which resulted in an additional wait. We would have picked another restaurant. The hostess needs to politely greet each potential customer and verify the contact information she c collected.

Nice infrastructure, great views of the ocean .. nice place to relax and have a drink.. food is substandard orders bang bang shrimp which was thick batter semi cooked and chicken wings were the same just could not eat it all.. orders sweet potato fries .. bad is a understatement.. drinks were good. Setting expectations on food — don’t expect much.. service views and drinks good

Service at the bar was nice, Tommy is a great bartender. When we moved to our table outside, AWFUL. I had to retrieve my own silverware from hostess, no refills on water, extremely long (over 1 hour) wait for our meals with plenty of wait staff and empty tables. I tip based on service I receive and I did not receive service.

To be honest, I wouldn’t know how the food is there because I walked out after waiting over an hour for a sandwich. I went in solo and had my 10 month old baby with me. The server said they had a few parties going on and so that was the delay. She mentioned that if I wanted to speak to a manager, I could. I waited another fifteen minutes, then just left. It was unacceptable, the place was not busy at all and other guests looked a little upset also. The place is really nice and could be an awesome spot but they need to find ways to accommodate all patrons and not just favor those in a party. It’s us locals who are going to be bringing in business long after the parties leave…. On the way out, I saw someone who looked like a manager and I told him that “I am a local and I have a few rental properties that I manage and I certainly will not recommend this place due to the terrible service”. He just scoffed at me! Terrible service and attitude. To be honest, I don’t see the place being there for a long time due to their customer service and poor etiquette.

We tried three years in a row to like this place because it looks so endearing. First year we got drinks and apps, the view was amazing. Last year we convinced the whole family to go for a nice dinner at the end of vacation, what a disaster. Food came out wrong, apps went to the wrong table, everything took forever. Tried again this year, waited forever for service, waited almost a half hour for the bill after asking multiple times, one bartender behind the bar on a Friday. Other customers were telling us to just walk out, but as someone in the service industry I couldn’t do it. The poor staff is in there fighting for their lives. Whoever is managing this place needs to be fired and blacklisted. We will never return, save your money and time.

Everyone was nice and working hard despite being understaffed. Waitress did not come around to attend the table as they were busy with enough work for 3 people to do. Food took a very long time to arrive, it was boardwalk quality but even more over priced. $8 Beer was served outside in a small plastic cup, it was warm in 5 minutes. There was a mandatory 3.5% charge for "restaurant fee" on the bill, I can only assume it must go to keeping the owners boat clean.

I was really upset to see that there are fishing lines strung across the outside patio near the hanging lights. While I was there, a bird got caught in the line and became stuck by its wing. The employees did try to help by bringing over a ladder, but unfortunately they didn’t make it in time and the bird fell to the floor. It’s not fair to the bird or any of the people having to witness this outside, especially with children.
