Opinions de Relish at The Westin Seattle Seattle
Breakfast restaurant inside Westin. They have a cafe attached if someone wants grab and go choice. Food was decent, nothing high end. Cappuccino was good. Only handful of good breakfast choices were fruit salad and omelette. View and seating is well designed as it's a corner property.
Might be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly, and the steak sauce and aioli were delicious. The fries were great, too. Very friendly and attentive service. I had a table near the window, and the view of downtown Seattle really added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
I loved the food-delicious! The atmosphere was nice as well--i love all the natural light from the windows, but didn't see my waiter most of dinner and went half the meal without any water and what water I did have was delicious but they don't put much ice. I felt like I was in England 🤣
This place is great for something on the go or dine in . Its a restaurant, bar , coffee bar . They got Starbucks here . They make one of the best vegetarian burgers in Seattle , i now got two favorites places for vegetarian burgers in Seattle .... the westin Relish burger bistro vegetarian burger and the vegetarian burger at the Fairmount Olympic at the Olympic bar . The relish has tv to watch the games etc . Lots of places to sit around and food options
A little pricey but a fun hotel bar and bistro. The Mushroom Forage burger is probably the best burger I've ever had in my life. Definitely enjoy eating here while staying at the Seattle Westin.
Went with some friends to try this place out. It is a bit on the expensive side 15 dollars for a burger and 5 extra for a double. Since it was my first time and i was quite hungry i ordered the relish burger double... it was whole lot of food i ate it and was more than satisfied as for the flavor it was really good specially the beechers cheese it had on the burger. I also tried some totchos and a poutine my friends ordered and loved the totchos. They also make their own soda i would recommend the raspberry mint soda instead of the grapefruit rosemary since that one tasted to strong and was hard to swallow. Overall i say if you are in seattle and want to try a good burger no matter the price then this is the place for you.
Ambience is nice and relaxing. Waiters and waitresses attentive and friendly. Our salad, soup and chicken sandwich was flavorful and well seasoned. We didnt order dessert, but they had a good variety of hand made yummy sounding selections.
The food is great, and the burger is huge and tasty. Our waitress was wonderful and very nice. The restaurant is inside the Westin and is very up scale, with some good choices like squash soup, etc, but it was not overly expensive.
Bummed that they were out of cheese curds. Being from Wisconsin… But we were very happy with our meals. Burger was huge. And certainly weren’t going to leave hungry!
During my stay at the Westin I tried this restaurant where the staff and my server was very from and helpful to all of my questions. I had the burger very juicy and their breakfast which my favorite the French toast which was perfectly balance.
Nice and clean establishment. Staff are friendly and work hard. Great bar service. Drinks are great, garnishments come with every drink (good thing for the cost). Very spendy for a burger. Burger is worth the money, very, very good!! Worth the money!
For a burger joint this place surpassed all our expectations. Definitely recommend the torta burger with the sweet potatoe fries. The spicy ketchup that comes with the sweet potatoe fries is to die for!
Lovely food unique to the PNW. The relish burger although not pictured is my usually go to.!
Very good environment. Wonderful Hamburgers. Nice attention. This place has a free parking lot at the hotel
Very clean atmosphere, prompt service, and delicious food all around!
I just enjoyed one of the most incredible lunch salads of all time! I added salmon to the salad which was bursting with flavor and seared to perfection! The service was warm and professional and my meal was served quickly. 5 stars for this strawberry, squash, mango, tomato, snap pea, watermelon, and bruschetta salad with salmon!
Husband and I stopped in for lunch after returning our car rental. This place was suggested by a local and it was very good. I had a burger and my husband got the chowder which were both delicious. Staff was very attentive to our needs.
Very good air conditioning. Seated in front of a beautiful window table viewing the city. Saw a girl cartwheeling on the street very awesome! The mac and cheese comes with a protein option very delicious. The waiter was super sweet!
We ate breakfast here before checking out. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Creme Brulee french toast. Both were good but the French toast was VERY good! The marscapone creme was so good we could have eaten it with a spoon. The fresh fruit was perfectly ripe and a good selection. And our server Oscar was amazing! Ten out of ten service!
During my stay at the Westin for a convention, I visited Relish for breakfast on both days. The menu offered some appealing choices. On the first day, I opted for the Caprese sandwich accompanied by tater tots, which were delightfully crispy and flavorful. The sandwich was enjoyable, but the tater tots truly stood out. On the following day, I chose an omelette with a side of fries and toast, which also made for a satisfying meal. My friend ordered a breakfast burrito which she liked as well.Although Relish provides a breakfast buffet with an omelette station, the $40 price tag may not be justified. The service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance!
Update 2025 Their buffet is now $45++ Fri-sun. I actually enjoyed their clam chowder among all the chowders I tried in Seattle. The cheeseburger was huge but the patty a tad tough. Service was very friendly from their Asian Lady server. They have an expensive breakfast buffet at $39 that I found too expensive for less than 10 dishes offered with limited hot and cold selections. They have an omelette counter but this does not warrant the $39 price tag.
I went to Relish for breakfast. There are some nice menu options. I chose the avocado toast which was good, but I’d recommend asking for a steak knife as the toast crust is pretty tough. They also have a breakfast buffet with an omelette station. But I didn’t think the offerings were worth the $40 price tag. Service was great.
Gluten free options! Offerings include tasty basic burgers to specialty signature burgers as well as salads at reasonable prices. This restaurant is located in the Westin Hotel. We sat in the atrium section filled with lots of light. Friendly and helpful waitstaff. Fast kitchen.
This is one of the best burger places in all Seattle. Simple food with great flavor. Portions are perfect and the service is fantastic. We have been many times and keep coming back. Not pretentious and very good... December 2018.. the place is ea described and the quality is there. The service is cordial and pay attention to your needs. The dishes are super well presented and very tasty. They keep doing a great job.
The dishes were fresh, well portioned, and brought to the table relatively quick, service was excellent and if you get seated in the front most room there are some fun views on the street and the Westin towers.
Relish is in a hotel lobby making it an interesting mix of casual and not as casual guests. The menu prices would suggest it is an upscale restaurant, but it doesn't have the feel of an upscale restaurant per se. We ordered two vegan impossible burgers costing $17 each, and these did not include a side. A cocktail here also cost $14, and it was delicious but seemed to have no alcohol in it at all. The food was good, and the burger was indeed one of the best I have had in awhile. They are very generous with the amount of toppings and I enjoyed that the most. 4 stars for the high prices and I felt skimped with the booze.
Burger joint located in our hotel so very convenient. Went late night and split burger with wife and had margaritas. Tasty burger nice toasted buns and fresh.
Our food was delicious, albeit expensive. Cheeseburger with fries for ~$15 and fried chicken sandwich with mozzarella for $16. The texture and breading on the fried chicken were perfect. Elizabeth S. (the waitress) was also very kind.
We waited about 15 minutes for a table we were then seated at a table that had been empty and clean the entire time we waited. I ordered friend pickles, which were great. They were pickle spears, not the pickle chips most places do. Also had totchos I think they were called.......tater tot nachos, which were really good. The burger was good. Nothing to write home about but certainly nothing to complain about. Good place to go if you're staying in the hotel, but I wouldn't go out of the way to eat there. The staff was nice. Nothing overboard, just doing their jobs.
Good sitting area with monorail flying over your head ..good view of tall buildings around. Service was awesome.
I had their signature burger which was delicious. Burger was large, so I wasn't upset when it didn't come with fries. Service was on the slow side.
Food here was good. Second time I ate here my food was not made as ordered, but I just ate it and was pleased.
Was here for a conference a few weeks ago. My coworker and I had the fish and chips, should’ve ordered a burger instead. The fries were delicious! The fish was not, the batter was too thick and the type of fish used was not ideal for this type of dish. It was more of a fish steak covered in fried breading than your normal pub style fish and chips. I didn’t finish it, it didn’t taste right. On a positive note, the next morning I ordered oatmeal at the coffee counter and that was good!
The food was delicious although it was cold when it got to us.
Good food, adequate atmosphere and service. I had the vegan burger and fries.
The food here was pretty good. Nothing special, but not bad at all. The hostess and the wait staff were nice. Food came quickly. The reasons I didn't give 5 stars were as follows: 1. The line was so long and we were pretty much in the dark about if we could put our names down, where to wait, and how long it would take. The hostess was very nice but she kept walking away and not communicating any of this to the guests. I expect more from a restaurant in a fancy hotel. 2. The food was nothing to call home about. Again, I expect more from a fancy hotel. I paid almost$30 for 2 regular sausages, 2 eggs, some potatoes, and a cup of tea. But, after waiting about 30 minutes at 7 in the morning on a Sunday to get seated, the food came quickly and it was satisfying. I may go there again.
My wife and I have been here twice. Once in 2019 during Snowmageddon and again just this last weekend. Service in this place is pretty decent and atmosphere is pleasant but I don't remember the food being so bland and underwhelming when we visited back in 2019. We got the cheese curds which were good but the marinara sauce was pretty tasteless. My wife ordered a pizza which was fairly large and could have been enough for both of us but she said it lacked flavor and just wasn't appetizing. I had the Mac and Cheese and added chicken. The chicken was flavorful but very dry and the noodles were as well. For the ticket price of food in this establishment, I would have expected better. We'll definitely be venturing out for dining next time we visit the area and are staying at the Westin.
I went here for weekend lunch and it was empty. I ordered butternut squash soup and beecher’s flagship melt sandwich, both were subpar. Service was slow but courteous. Location is good and so is decor.
The bloody mary was just alright, nothing too special. The service kind of sucked in my opinion. When I came up to the podium and asked if they sold bloody marys she said "yeah, go ahead to the bar" then when I went to the bar and ordered two bloody marys. The other lady at the bar said "you have to have a seat in order for me to serve you. " I sat down but man it was a difficult process lol The bloody mary wasn't even that good.
The food was good but the waiter (Muh.) was rude and rather vocal about it throughout the entire evening. He kept complaining about our party and having to split checks rather than trying to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the meal. Paying for 12 people took about half an hour, which is way too long. I think it would be better if the waiter would find a job without customer interaction.
Incredibly slow service, waiter asked if we wanted more coffee seemed to forget we wanted it. The food is good but don't come here for breakfast if you have less than an hour for bacon and eggs.
Even for hotel food this was pretty bad. The food wasn’t terrible but definitely wasn’t worth the price. We even had daily credit for food and drinks as we were staying at the hotel and even with that it still wasn’t worth us going back. Also redbull was $7 at their grab and go!!!!!! That’s more than at the airport and on par with F1 venue pricing…
During convention, they don’t plan ahead or allow lunch during the correct timing, it was a disaster.
I just paid $16 for a two day old Caesar Salad when I could of gone to convenient store right around the corner and got the same exact salad for $4. The croutons were like a wet sponge. Extremely disappointed with the premade gas station salad.
The service was slow, but the food was plain. With all the items in the risotto, and all the items on the chicken sandwich it was horrible. The fries were great.
A $10 Pre-made 4 ounce margarita in plastic cup barely bigger than my keys. Smokey tasting margarita why? What more can I say? Disappointed that this would even be served to anyone. Is this is the future of the service industry? Hope not!
My husband had a burger that was so soggy the bun was just flopping around. I got lobster poutine and the lobster was practically rubber. Worst food we’ve eaten in Seattle and yet the most expensive. Big disappointment.
The food was horrible. I asked for buffalo chicken bites and the chicken was dry and seemed old. I ordered takeout, so I wasn’t able to flag it to them, but I never plan to go back. Not recommended.
Went to dinning bistro for take away. I was number one in the queue. Told me to head for the coffee counter instead for my take away. Coffee counter was manned by a lady who had to take order and brew the coffee at the same time. So while I have to wait for the lady to prepare 5 cups of coffee, each cup took approximately 2-3 minutes to brew, I have to wait for her to settle 5 bills as well. Waited 20mins for my turn while bistro was empty. So the managers and the waiting crew were at the bistro standing around looking important but basically doing nothing and I have to waste my time waiting in the line to make my order. So much time wasted just because the staff at the bistro were too lazy to attend to take away!
The food here was absolutely terrible. I paid $40 for a burger that had so much grease, it was falling apart before it even got to my table. The meat was clearly rushed on the grill. The worst food I've had in along time. Would recommend a Carl's Jr before this place sadly.
