We visited Von's while in a quick trip to Seattle. When I saw they had sourdough pizza I was sold and they did not disappoint! The food was incredible and the drinks were delicious and fun. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive even with it being so busy. Definitely will be back.
THE SOURDOUGH PASTA IS UNREAL !!! Best pasta I’ve ever had. The wife and I drive down from Vancouver BC just for the pasta. The drinks are on point. Great atmosphere. The service is amazing. Wish we had one where we live.
Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. Completely mind blowing pizza that is the stuff of dreams. Perfectly balanced flavors, wonderfully chewy sourdough crust (and I normally hate anything sourdough). Went during dinner rush and sat at the bar and still received top class service. I ordered the apple bacon blue cheese pizza (minus the blue cheese). WOW
You know this place is great when it is always full and there’s always a bit of a wait. This was our favorite restaurant while staying in downtown Seattle and it wasn’t even close. Something on the menu for everyone, great cocktails, and awesome service. The sourdough pasta and pizza were incredible. Oh and $10 martinis? You can’t beat it. Service and atmosphere were top notch, we will definitely be back.
Really fun place to eat in Downtown, adults and kids all enjoyed it and loved their meals. I had the all day bolognese, super rich and hearty - very delicious! Table split the calamari, burrata and bread, and the wings which were all very very good, especially the calamari. The kids loved their kid’s menu and the drinks came with a light up ice square that was a huge hit. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
Food was top of the line quality. Would highly recommend everyone visiting Seattle to experience Von's 1000 Spirits. The pasta was delicious with rich flavor along with sourdough bread with basil and cheese spread. Atmosphere was lively and the water Connor was very professional and polite. Will definitely come here again.
Wow, I knew they had great drinks. I forgot about the great food. Plus 25% discount for WA state residents. The Poke was very good, my bloody mary was great! Definitely will be coming back, and visit the Woodinville location/distillery.
Fantastic Food & Flavorful Experience at Von’s 1000Spirits My wife and I had a great dining experience at Von’s 1000Spirits in downtown Seattle. The food was outstanding and made for a memorable evening. My wife ordered the sourdough pasta, which is made in-house with their own pasta machine—an impressive touch. The dish was absolutely delicious: a perfect balance of spice, garlic, and rich cheese flavor. Every bite was packed with bold, savory notes that made it super, super tasty. I went with the fish taco, wanting something on the lighter side, and it did not disappoint. The cod was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was flavorful, fresh, and well-seasoned, making for a truly satisfying dish without feeling heavy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive vibe. The atmosphere was lively, a bit on the louder side with music and shelves of whiskey bottles lining the walls—a cool and eclectic touch. Overall, it was a great experience. If you’re in downtown Seattle and looking for delicious food made with care and creativity, Von’s 1000Spirits is definitely worth a visit.
Sebastian was a rock star! He is very attentive and great suggestions. We had fun experience. Food was good especially the burrata and mac&cheese. We will definitely be back!
Really good experience, good food, prices and services. The wait was less than 10 min on a full day. My wife ordered the bolognese sourdough pasta and is now in my top 3 favorite pasta dish. I ordered the double smash burger and it was really good.
We arrived in Seattle for just one day, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to visit. The food is amazing; the homemade pasta is incredibly delicious, and we're absolutely thrilled. We happened to be there during happy hour, which included a wide variety of items on special. Our server, Sisi, was very friendly and shared with us the history of the establishment as well as some interesting details about the dishes they offer. Thank you for the warm hospitality!
This os West Coast good vibes menu and drinks and atmosphere. Pasta family style, we got 3 of them for a table of 4. Bar menu the world is your oyster, mixed drinks, wine, and beer.
Ate here for the first time a couple weeks back and came back a few days later for NYE that’s how much we liked it. The food is awesome, I was skeptical at first since the majority of their main food is sour dough but I was definitely caught off guard. The first time we went, I We both ordered pasta, which were fantastic. The second go round I ordered the pepperoni pizza. I am more of a pizza guy so I I’ll order the a pizza next time but the pastas do not disappoint. The staff there are really nice. Even with a line out of the door they are super friendly and did not seem stressed or annoyed both times. They do their best to accommodate you and get you seated as fast as they can. There is a reason this place has 6k reviews. There aren’t very many places I would recommend within the city of Seattle due to weird/ hipster vibe most places offer but if you’re a local or visiting town I would make sure you visit Von’s you will not regret it. All around this place is awesome. From their chefs to the hosts they have it dialed in. And for it being in Seattle it’s not super pricey, it’s what you would expect to pay to dine in a Seattle restaurant. So go check it out especially since sour dough seems to be the new fad right now. Experience the hype of sour dough made correctly.
This is hands-down the best place I've eaten in Seattle. Absolutely diabolically delicious food and drinks, and wonderful service. The pasta is some of the best I've ever had, with absolutely perfect texture and flavor and cook. The chicken and sauce were immaculate, and my drink was perfectly tart and sweet and garnished beautifully. The bread that you can get with the pasta is a NEED - it is so soft and warm, the crust is crisp but the interior is fluffy and soft. Use it to sop up pasta sauce or eat it on its own. Now... I need to talk about the carrot cake. This dessert is insane. To put it in perspective, I'm not normally a carrot cake girlie but I ordered it on a whim because it seems like one of their signatures. Let me tell you - they could charge $40 for that slice of cake and it would be a BARGAIN. It was soft and moist, flavorful and delicately spiced, with a crunchy crumble topping, sweet and salty caramel sauce, and an incredible whipped cream. The frosting was tangy and just the right consistency. The service was incredible, I was sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and checked up on me consistently throughout my meal. Food arrived quickly and with a smile. The interior was cozy, if a bit dim and loud (but that's to be expected). The decor was really neat, especially the WALL of alcohol behind the bar. We absolutely loved our experience at Von’s 1000Spirits in Seattle. This place has become one of the go-to spots for burgers in the city! The food quality is consistently excellent: juicy, flavorful burgers with top-notch ingredients that live up to their reputation and local awards for classic hamburgers. On top of that, the service is always friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe of the place is fun and lively, making it perfect whether you’re grabbing a casual meal or hanging out with friends. If you’re in Seattle and craving a great burger, this is a spot you won’t want to miss: we’ve never been disappointed! Highly recommended! 🍔👏
Tried a bunch of food and drinks here and honestly, everything hit 😋 The Double Smashed American Burger was super tender and juicy. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich wasn’t very spicy, but the chicken was perfectly juicy and the sauce + pickle combo was outstanding. Loved the Chicken Cutlet Grinder as well. The Seattle Scratch Sourdough Pizza (Craft Bacon, Washington Apple & Rogue Blue) was a standout. Fig jam with bacon and blue cheese was an amazing combo. Dessert (Smoky Campfire Rocky Road Pie) was perfect, not too sweet and served with marshmallow and vanilla crème anglaise. Drinks were fun and solid, especially the Cotton Candy cocktail with the tableside pour and color-changing light cube. The staff is super friendly and sweet, which made the experience even better. Definitely going back 💯
Can’t go wrong with sourdough pizza and pasta. We had both, plus a few drinks, and everything hit. The pizza was perfectly chewy with that signature sourdough flavor, the pasta was comforting and well done, and the drinks were really good (wish I remembered their names). Great spot, great vibes- would absolutely come back all the way from San Diego.
We had two happy hour menu (burger & pizza) and one pasta. All good but lemon prawn pasta wasn’t my style since it has light flavor. I will try different one next time. Overall good food with good vibe😋😊
Had a pleasant evening with friends. The cocktails are good and the food is flavorful. The staff is friendly and was able to find us a table for a large party within 30 mins! Really saved our hungry souls 😋
First... GO HAWKS !! Second, wow wow we wow. Oh my goodness. So good I think the chef actually kissed my food before my beautiful amazing super friendly waitress Victoria came to serve me. I was seating at a fisher restaurant by the pier (not going to mention which one) when I decided to call and see if there were any tables available which, to my luck was picked up by this vibrant red headed ginger queen Tara ! She told how long the wait would be, what to order, and when to come in. Dude if she wasn't working I probably would've asked her to sit down and eat with me, as girlies of course. After a long day of joyful jumping and eloquent screaming the words SEAHAWKS until every float went through 4th avenue... My Tellicherry Chicken dish was really the cherry on top of it all *see what I did there*. Victoria !!!!!!!! If you're watching .. THAT PIE FROM AROUND THE WAY WASSSS SHHPOPPING !!!! Peace out.. MVP!! MVP!!! 💙💚 Go Hawks. K9 please stay in Seattle. We love you. OK bye.
I normally don’t get this excited about a restaurant. But this was one of my best experiences so far in 4 years living in the US. The restaurant vibe is great, it feels comfy and welcoming. The staff is quick and polite. The food… incredible! Just check the pictures. You guys deserve 5 stars without a doubt. Thank you!
Von’s 1000 Spirits is a must in downtown Seattle. I had their bacon burger (the Prescott) on a brioche bun that didn’t get soggy—super impressive—especially with thick, almost pork-belly bacon and a perfectly cooked patty. I swapped American cheese for cheddar (the bar staff were great about it). Paired it with a Kölsch and then a glass of D2. The garlic parmesan fries were crispy and delicious, and I finished with a warm cookie skillet. Beyond the food, this place is special: it’s a scratch kitchen and distills its own spirits on-site (downstairs!!). They make their own pizza crust and pasta too! Von’s actually has a thousand spirits on the wall, old distilling machines now brewing cold brew, and even a cotton candy machine. The vibe is unique, and whether for drinks, food, or both, it’s an absolute gem.
Food? Delicious. Drinks? Outta this world. David? 100/10. Best server ever. Love him. Give him a raise pls. Passion Play drink reminded me of home ❤️ Stop looking at the reviews to see if you should go, and just GO.
Monday night 6 PM. Place is packed and super noisy. My kind of restaurant. I had the Bam Bam chicken and the banh mi sandwich. My waiter was amazing - she said that would probably be enough for one person. My first cocktail was a paper plane, which was excellent. Saved the best to last – a dirty gin martini made with their housemade gin. Super fun time. Great spot.
We loved our experience at Von’s! We were told the wait time was 15 minutes when we got there at 6, but they ended up getting us in within a few minutes. Our server, Katya, went above and beyond and made our experience memorable. The food and drinks were to die for. We enjoyed the Sourdough 4 meat pizza, pesto pasta, mango and scratch margarita, mezcal, and cookie dessert. Absolutely delicious and great atmosphere that made our anniversary dinner spectacular. We’ll be back next time we visit Seattle. It’s a must try! Thank you and thanks to Katya!
Chris was the most amazing waiter tonight! He gave us such good choices in the menu (Spicy Rigs and the bacon burger) and was very attentive! Best experience! My first time here, but I will definitely be back!
I had a beautiful experience with my family and I am a chef and an international referee from Iraq. The taste was perfect and the service is very excellent. I really recommend anyone who would like to eat something special in Seattle. The only defect is that the place is small and waiting for 30 minutes. Apart from this, everything is excellent.
Vons 1000 Spirits is a fantastic spot in Seattle and definitely worthy of five stars! The food is delicious, with hearty portions and bold flavors that pair perfectly with their wide selection of drinks. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it a great place to relax with friends or enjoy a night out. One of the most unique features is their incredible display of high-end, very expensive shots—some bottles you don’t see anywhere else! It adds a fun, upscale vibe, even if you’re just admiring them. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience top-notch. Highly recommend!
Everything was delicious and food/drinks came quickly despite the volume of people inside. Service was also very good. It was loud inside but that was to be expected. We got the burrata baguette which had amazing pesto, the avocado bacon burger, and the Salmon Pan Roast which was TO DIE FOR. Savoury, creamy, and super tender, with an optional dash of lemon for the perfect zing. Definitely ordering that again the next time we come here. For drinks, we got one of the Gin drinks and the Hula Hula punch which came with a sparkler! Good sized portions - the bill adds up - but worth it for our weekend getaway!
We got to try this place on our most recent trip to Seattle and WOW! By far my favorite food we have ever gotten here. The mac & cheese was amazing, which honestly I didn’t think mac & cheese could get this good. Everything else was amazing as well. Will definitely be back next time we’re out here!
This was truly an unforgettable meal. I had the salmon pasta, and I can honestly say it’s the best salmon pasta I’ve had in my entire life. The flavor, the texture, everything was absolutely perfect. We also tried a seafood soup (I don’t recall the exact name, but I’ve added the photos), and it was incredible as well — rich, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommended! If you’re in the area, this place is a must-try.
I can't say enough good things about this place. The food was FANTASTIC! Really cool setting, lots of it's bottles on the walls, hence the name. Everything we got was good. Sourdough pasta, sourdough pizza, loaded fries. The lighting isn't very good, so the pictures dont do the food justice. I will definitely be coming back!
Cool place for some good food and drinks. They make their own sourdough pasta on site. Cocktail pairing suggestions are available for some positions on the menu. I tried that and it was a good match. The smoked oak and cherry Manhattan was served in a fancy way.
Great experience overall! We had a group of 14 and they were able to accommodate us easily and get our food and drinks out extremely quickly. The drinks were excellent. The view was also exceptional. Great spot to just have a drink with friends or have a very nice meal. Pasta and sourdough is hand made from scratch on site daily.
This was our first sourdough pasta experience and it was FABULOUS! We were there during happy hour, early evening on Friday. Website said no reservations for days, so we took a chance and ended up being able to walk up and get seated right away. We sat in the front room, atmosphere was intimate and comfortable. Very quick service for food and drinks. We shared the Original Mac & 4 Cheeses, happy hour price $15, regularly $24. We also got a loaf of sourdough bread $5 with butter and tomato jam, YUM! Manhattan ($8 happy hour) was our favorite drink and the Vodka Martina was also good, both poured at the table. Actually bought some pasta to take home, but first it will be cruising to Alaska…it was THAT GOOD.
I love this place! On my most recent visit, I had the Cacio e Pepe pizza and it blew me away. There are so many non-pizza items that I want to try - the sourdough fish & chips for one - but I am addicted to the pizza and can’t seem to order anything else no matter how many times I come here. The huckleberry bramble is another stunner. I also love the sourdough pasta that they sell - I got a couple of bags to take home and it did not disappoint. It’s a great place with nice people and a fun atmosphere!
We were in Seattle to join our cruise to Alaska, embarking from the Port of Seattle. While exploring the city, we saw this restaurant promoting their sourdough pasta! We are sourdough fans but had never had sourdough pasta. Since we were limited on time before embarkation, we decided to go back after we returned from the cruise, and what a treat it was!! We arrived shortly before 1 pm on a Sunday and were immediately seated. We were greeted by Skylar, our server who was delightful! We ordered a delicious pinot noir, and Skylar was most helpful in answering questions about the menu options. We chose the Basil Almond Pesto with braised pork, and the Tellicherry Chicken and Gouda, and were very pleased with our choices! Both dishes were wonderful and flavorful, and we fell in love with the sourdough pasta, so much so that we bought two bags of their dried sourdough pesto and a sourdough cookbook! Our only regret is that we live too far away to visit frequently, but we encourage everyone in the Seattle area to check out this gem! And tell Skylar we said hi!
This place is crazy busy for a reason. Our server, George, was amazing. He was super knowledgeable, personable, and checked on us frequently. The food was extraordinary. The pasta was fresh, my hamburger was the best ever and so big I had to eat it with a knife and fork, and the calamari was perfect and the best we'd ever had. The lemon drop was also the best ever.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. This is one of the few places in downtown Seattle where you can find high-quality food late at night. We tried the chicken salad, fish tacos, fish and chips, salmon pasta, vegetarian pasta, and cocktails — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Portion sizes were good and the staff was attentive. Both indoor and outdoor (patio) seating are nicely decorated and give you a good vibe. It’s definitely a spot worth coming back to.
We stopped here after seeing good reviews about it. The fish and chips were amazing and their homemade sourdough pasta is the best. The drinks were really good too. Will definitely come back next time we are in Seattle
Vons was right around the corner from our Airbnb in downtown Seattle. They have a tremendous selection of bourbon and whiskey and offer flights. We had a truly fantastic hamburger that they split up for us. Delicious food. Great ambience, quite a large place actually. It was a lot of fun.
🍺🥖 Dynamic vibe with food portions so huge they make the Grand Canyon look like a side dish. Everyone around me was sipping something spirited, but my virgin Bloody Mary was shockingly amazing—spicy, fresh, and full of judgment for the rest of the table. Cozy spot with tight seating, so bring friends you actually like and plan for an epic night of laughter, food comas, and zero regrets. And whoever’s in charge of the playlist? Give them a Grammy, a raise, and joint custody of my Spotify account. 🎸🥁🤘
We visited Seattle on valentine's day weekend, flying in from Alaska. A family member had mentioned how great this restaurant was. I had tried two weeks before to make a reservation but it was all booked up. So i called and asked about walk-ins, they said yes we will still be taking walk-ins so we stopped by hoping to get a for a table for 4 people and we got lucky and got a table with no wait. Don't get me wrong they had just opened but trust me when I say at 11:15am it was half-way filled already. They were making fresh pasta right in front of you as you walk in. The atmosphere was amazing the views were great. The bar was amazing with bottles going all the way to the ceiling. FRESH PASTA MADE IN-HOUSE I had to try it, The Tuscan Pasta was delicious especially with my heart shape Bread. I had a Moscow mule which tasted perfect. My wife had a burger, which was cooked perfectly. We shared a appetizer that was French fries with cheese sauce and pork.. 100% all around great service, great food, great atmosphere.
Visiting Seattle for the first time, decided to stop in for dinner. The drinks were spectacular and the food out of this world. The only thing that could top either was the extraordinary service we got from Cecelia! If you get the chance to eat here, I highly recommend the sourdough pasta! And of course the server 😊 Thanks Cecelia for making my first dinner in Seattle a memorable one!
The food is great and sounds healthy made. It is a great place to hangout, good atmosphere. We ordered burger and basil almond pesto pasta. I would say any burger and that pasta was great and fresh. For the service, it could be better.
I went here with group of friends and we had a good time. The restaurant was pretty loud, lots of hard surfaces did little in the way of deadening the sound of everyone around us. The restaurant was almost entirely full when we arrived, and our table was missing a chair despite our reservation. The food came out pretty quick once we got our orders taken, but it took quite a while for the waiter to take our food order. The food itself was really good, honestly the almond pesto was probably some of the best pesto I've ever had. We had the pork confit fries, the crispy calamari, and the burrata baguette for appetizers. All three were good with the burrata being the best, and the calamari coming in last, though still delicious. My entree was the basil almond pesto pasta and it was amazing. It was super creamy and all of the ingredients went so well together. I'd come back, but I'd probably try to find a less busy time.
Made reservations online, was easy and got us in right away. The food was good but not amazing. We had the wings, bolognese, and pepperoni pizza. My husband had some light beer which he said was good. I had some huckleberry gin drink which was delicious and she brought over the syrup so I could customize it (as I did not want it too sweet). My son had strawberry lemonade which he said was delicious. The noodles in the bolognese were delicious and you could tell high quality compared to a cheap noodle from the store. I would go back for sure and try something else.
If you are looking for a large option of spirits with a cool atmosphere, this is your place. Sat at the bar, which was cool, it was lined with any bottle you can think of and was well designed. Beyond the bar the whole atmosphere is pretty cool at this place. Had a burger and pizza which were good, but average. Service was average as well, not great as the bartender was little dry and not very helpful. Overall cool place and would visit again to try their pasta and other beverage options.
One of the only places we found in the area that were still serving food after 9pm. Even though it was a Saturday night, we were seated immediately. We got a table for two in the front near the windows. We did have to wait for quite a few minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. We split a smash burger and fries and also shared a skillet cookie for dessert. The smash burger was really good and large portion for us both to share since we were hungry but not starving. We got it without the onions and sauce but it was very good. The fries were hit and tasty and hand cut. The. Burger and fries came out really fast and that was impressive because the bar was really starting to fill up after we were seated. The skillet cookie was a chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron skillet with a very small scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was very good as well, just a small portion for two and a bit on the pricey side for a dessert. It took a while to come out but it is made to order so that was expected. Music was excellent t siding our visit, maybe a little loud but 1980s jams were perfect for us. We did not drink any alcohol but they had plenty of expensive bottles being glass, a wheel to spin for drink specials and lots of beverages flowing as evident from the other tables near us. Cool vibe overall at this location and some really solid food, a bit on the prices side, but to be expected, I guess for this area of downtown.
The sour dough pasta is a treat. The menu is a bit limited, but sufficient. We had to wait for a table. Overall a good experience.
