I think Sonic has good food. I eat there sometimes when I’m pressed for time. I’ve only had a couple of mistakes on my order (one of them was MY fault), but that’s to be expected sometimes. Sonic is very good to make things right & the service is excellent. Please treat the servers decently. They’re human, too.

This particular location provides a consistent outstanding customer experience. Car Hops are friendly and appreciative, food is always good, and their pretty efficient at getting your order to you in a reasonable amount of time. Multiple great experiences at the Sherman, TX Sonic!

Jackie helped me make my order because I didn't know about the different drinks/flavors. She was awesome! David brought me my drink and was more that courteous!! The usual Sonic. It had the traditional menu, great customer service, friendly car hop, and were eager to help. It was also very clean. The parking lot was trash free and the landscaping looked great! I always like it when the restaurant is clean on the outside. If they put that much time into the outside of the place, hopefully the inside is even better!

Because of the superior, customer service oriented attitude of one particular employee (short, dark hair, dark eyes, great smile, tattoos) on my initial visit, I go just about every afternoon after I get off for a cold drink or slush. It is the highlight of my day - especially if she delivers my order! 10/10/2018 UPDATE: Said employee is no longer there. <sigh>

I most definitely would like to share my experience this morning, I am in a manager position for 6 years now in retail/customer service and I must say this morning I by far had my best experience ever with sonic!!! I was running behind but definitely needed some coffee and breakfast and wanted to pick up something for myself, my husband, and my other employee to get us through the morning that’s what these guys did! They didn’t just get us taken care of, it was the quickest service I have ever experienced in my and my car hop was a pleasure, as I left, I decided to turn around and tip the cook and give them kudos as well, sorry to the cook I didn’t have more cash in my wallet because when I say they did a wonderful job, I definitely wouldn’t have tipped a lot more for the amazing service I was given!!! Whoever manages this location you have an amazing team!!! Treat them well for sure, they deserve it!!!

It'd be nice if they could hear my order and get it correct maybe next time I'll call someone out and visibly show them what I'd like. I wish I could provide hearing aides to everyone. It is probably some other distraction. I get better service from the roller grill at QT.

We ordered breakfast burritos and tots.The staff was very nice, prices were great, and they have a value menu and drink specials which I ordered from. The drive up screen let me know what step my order was in. Such as paid, in kitchen, and coming out. The car hop came out with our food rather quickly. And to my surprise when I asked for ketchup she had already placed napkins and ketchup in the bag. Our food was the right temperature and tasted as the tots were freshly cooked. The burritos were super tasty. This location always give great service, and I plan on going back in the future.

I always stop at this location for drinks and food. I also get bags of ice to bring home. The service is great. I appreciate this local sonic.

They always have good fast food. Drink options are endless and food is cooked when ordered so it's always fresh. This location has a male server that is so polite and sweet. I prefer this location over the other any day because of the great service.

I go here quite often to grab a drink and have almost always received great service. My drink is out to me within a couple of minutes and is made perfectly almost every single time. Rarely had a problem with this location. Food is good too.

Church rally to gather some folks and Sonic did the catering at Fairview Baptist. We really enjoyed this, had the buffalo wings-fries and Oreo strawberry 🍓cheesecake master shake after the Adams family movie ..was good with zydeco sauce ...they had a pretty nice Dodge Challenger their, Halloween decorations...this place keeps getting better 11/8/23, had short change of $242 on me, the little girl was so nice she covered my double cheeseburger out of her pocket. I tried to return the money she said no just pay it back and help the next waitress get on her feet. A young proud black woman. THANK YOU lil girl. Your a blessing to the business

Only real complaint is the lack of flavor in my plain soda. Maybe make sure there changed out regularly. So it's not just pure carbonation. But other than that, it's mostly just a Sonic.

Update 9/14/2023 - Pickle fries are good. Never did get the ranch dipping sauce I asked for, though.

Need a quick meal and the line's too long at Chick-Fil-A? Sonic is a solid choice. Their drinks and shakes are where they really shine in my opinion. Burgers are okay, but not as good as Whataburger, for example.

Went to the Sonic to get a bite. They could not serve me because there system was down. I’m pretty sure the grill was working. What in hell is wrong with this picture. Take a pen and piece of paper , write it down , give it to the cook and serve it. I was taught to improvise. Kids today are so freaking lazy. If they don’t have a computer, there just lost. I’ll bet not one person could figure out the cost of the food without a calculator, tax included. This would be like going back to 1960, and my pencil breaking. Sorry , can’t take your order , my pencil is broke, or I ran out of paper. God forbid should I try and remember just one order. If this was the owners call , he is teaching bad habits to his employees. Instead of making them use there minds to think with, he is just shutting them down , much like there system. Sonic has the best cherry limeade imo. It was lunchtime and all I wanted was a large cherry limeade, easy ice. I pull up, push the button, and waited, and waited. I waited long enough that I had to push ther button again. This time it was a quick answer, ordered, the total was less than expected! The drink came out fairly quickly then too. Thank goodness because my allotted lunch time was nearly done. I'll review my review next visit when I order food too.

This place is fast and easy and the food is great! The people are nice and polite however I always get the footlong Coney and lately, they've given me a RIP off. It used to be over flowing with cheese and chili but now it only has a little bit and its extremely disappointing.

I tip well, most of the time when my food is quick and hot. But when you get your food and 2 things are hot and everything else is cold thats not right. It's hard to choke down cold mozzarella sticks.

They have really good and fun Customer Service. I like the pretzel there, but the cheese is ENTIRELY too salty. Other than that, the SSBDC (Super Sonic Bacon Double Cheeseburger) with jalapenos and BBQ sauce is my main go-to... And a lemonade with extra lemons. I just recently started getting lemonade with vanilla in it. It tastes just like Lemon Meringue Pie! Don't knock it until you try it!

I just love it when you try to place your order and the employee speaks to you as if you’re incompetent. We don’t all work at Sonic and we don’t all speak the same language so if you understand what the person is ordering, why attempt to correct them just to satisfy your OCD needs? Also, when is it ever professionally okay to call someone sweetie, honey, or sugar, especially after requesting for them not to. Let’s just cut to the chase... In the end, you may get what you ordered but just to place your order is simply downright frustrating and overall unprofessional. Michelle Velasquez, you might want to have a team meeting to discuss these key points.

Food is great but on more than a few occasions my order has been wrong. Even just a drink. Staff is always friendly!

Ordered ahead from the app to have food ready when we arrived. We got there and checked in and the key on the screen showed that it was ready and that a car hop was bringing it out. It took 20 minutes and talking to a server who was heading back inside before we got our food. When our food finally got to us it was barely warm. We're got the BBLT and totes.

I would normally be ecstatic to share that I had great service, but at 11 p.m. when I arrived I was told they had already shut their ice cream machines down for the night. I went back shortly after within a few days at 10:30 p.m. and the same thing very disappointed! Constructive criticism

After repeating my order to the order taker, they managed to not get it right when delivered to me. I asked for ketchup, salt and pepper, each time forgetting and going back and forth. Talking too fast and not listening seemed to be the problem.

Drinks came to our car sopping wet like they weren’t even wiped off, the drink carrier was filled with soda but I didn’t notice until I went to put it in my lap soda spill out all the corners of the drink carrier! Got me all down my legs and seat. Flagged down a carhop helping someone else and asked for napkins of which we got five.. Had to go home and change plus clean the seat so it didn’t get sticky.. it makes me so sad because I’ve brushed off a lot of encounters at this sonic but today I’ve reach my limit and have to leave a review.

This place is great at delivery, making drinks and food. But, the way they address customers verbally while taking orders could be a little more polite and kind. They've been a little rude the past couple of times.

Food is usually cold by the time we get it home and we don't live far from it. Today when I got home with my order it was cold and the chicken was overcooked and hard to eat. I added bacon and it had one small flat piece that had been broken in half. Definitely was not happy. Although I love the tea, onion rings and jalapeño poppers.

The waitress was very nice and polite. The cook was fast and sloppy. Buns were untoasted, meat was dry, very little mustard, and I didn't get fries with my meal. My mom ordered grilled chicken sandwiches and all the buns were dry and untoasted, and the chicken was dry. Again very nice waitress. Food edible.

Hit and miss quality and freshness. The drinks are always spot on but you must wait awhile for them if there’s more than 5 cars at the drive in. My tots are usually lukewarm and either need salt or are so salty they’re hard to eat. The new mushroom sliders are out of this world, the breakfast sandwiches and burritos are good if the tortillas are fresh and not stale. Hit and miss. Decent burgers. The wait is usually my biggest complaint here even when they’re not busy. I’d rather come to this location though, the other one is 10x worse. Order takers aren’t friendly, no thank you’s or pleasantries. Car hops do the best they can mostly as busy as they stay. Seem to need way more help.

I ordered a footlong chili dog. I was very hungry. When I arrived at my destination and cut into the weiner it was not done all the way. It was still firm. The juices did not flow from the meat like a well done wiener. I would not finish it because I was afraid I might get sick.

It is getting to be a problem ordering food anywhere it seems. A simple cheeseburger with extra mayo no lettuce but extra pickles and onions... but when I got back to work I had a cheeseburger with only mayo and pickles. No onions no tomato so I don't know how hard of an order this was but I am stuck with it

You pay almost $3 for a large drink. You get 5 drinks and it's gone. Plus it tastes like old fryer grease. Never again!! Too much ice! Need to change fryer oil more often...or clean your ice machine!

I ordered a rt 44 Dr Pepper on the app and it came out really carbonated and tasted flat. I pressed the red button and asked for it to be changed and mid sentence I was cut off by the lady on the speaker and she had an attitude about it. I’ve been waiting around 10 minutes now and still haven’t gotten my new one. This is why I always go to parkway instead of this location. I give it two stars though because my initial carhop was nice and friendly

I like Sonic, they’re not my favorite fast food place but I crave them sometimes. However, this location in particular is iffy. Food is always either cold, dry, or just put together very sloppily. I don’t think I’ve ever had something here that was hot. The carhops are mostly nice kids who seem to be trying their best, but it’s like none of them really know what they’re doing or how to do customer service. I wouldn’t harp on this place too much if it was a once in a while thing, but again, I’ve never had actually hot, fresh tasting food here. The burgers almost taste like they got cooked in bulk and left out hours ago and then put in the microwave for 10 seconds when you order. I’m sure that’s not actually happening, but that’s the best way I can describe the way the food tastes.

Stopped for shakes today, first on a longtime. Should have know better. Couldn't drink it. Nothing but ice cream chocolate syrup barely mixed with whipped cream and cherry on top. If I wanted to spoon it, I would have gone to Braums and gotten a bowl of chocolate ice. Why do people do halfass job making things.

I still visit this location from time to time and give it a chance, though to be honest I can't tell you why. Maybe nostalgia from trips for ice cream with my grandma. I'm disappointed with the food every time. Portions are too small and sloppily assembled. Orders are often wrong in some way. I also frequently have trouble communicating when placing orders. Two stars because the employees have always been well-mannered, courteous, and accommodating. Sonic is not what it used to be, especially this location. You're better off getting fast food from one of the many nearby alternatives.

For two cars ahead of me it took 15 minutes in a fast food drive thru , once got to the window I was charged more than I was supposed to I came during happy hour for the large drink I was still charged 2.82 cents more for the drink I ask about it and she only gives me 1.63 cent back I said that's not how much I should be getting back I wasn't charged the correct price she says I'll just take it out my tips as if she just gave herself her own tip with MY money . Tried to give me a problem about it I just took the 1.63 cents and decided to just leave this review and not return to this location again .

I dont eat here often and for good reason. The food is always with issue. Today my husband and I ordered lunch and went home to eat. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and he got popcorn chicken. My burger is so overcooked it is crunchy and dry. His chicken is super salty. The only tasty items were my onion rings and dr. pepper. Won't be wasting our money here anymore!

Once again, I couldn't get my lunch for some reason. The truck that came after me did.. the carhop then made sure to have a conversation with the car next to me, but get MY lunch?? Absolutely not. I'll just keep sticking with the drive thru one in the Town Center. I'm guaranteed my food then.

Never had such terrible service in a my entire life. No one has a smile on their face, everyone except one nice looking older woman is entirely rude. I'm baffled at how obvious it is they don't want to work there.

I thought I'd try this one again to see if it was any better now, but it definitely isnt. Dont waste your money. No, really. Ive never even once gotten my order back correctly. This time it was the coffee. They water down their coffees, and wont fix it if you return it. They just add more of the flavor syrup and hope it masks the water flavor. Oh, and if you switch to a different, cheaper drink you dont get a refund for the difference. They just keep the change. I didnt come back for a long time, because last time they thought limeades were just a route 44 sprite with 2 small lime wedges for garnish, and they charged extra if you asked for more than that. (Im not kidding, the manager actually screamed at me for asking for a whole lime in my limeade. Apparently half of a small lime for a whole route 44 is the "standard", even though I've never had this problem elsewhere.) Even before that, it was always something. Ask for marinara, get ranch. Ask for ketchup, get mustard. Ask for a large, get a small. I wouldn't leave a 1 unless a place was consistently bad, and boy do they qualify. If you just want a cheap sweet tea, just go next door to chicken express.

I ordered 2 separate orders of shakes. I assume the stall I was in was messing up. I spoke very clearly and loud after the car-hop said she couldn't hear me. I repeated myself several times. I could hear her clearly. She couldnt hear me. So I shouted my order. She shouted back with a very rudely. Obviously need to fix the stall and her manners. Will not return. Got the sonic griller. Asked for a extra patty, which they forgot and I paid for that extra paddy. Was also missing the bacon which is sapose to come on it. Fries where terribly stale, tots over cooked. Gravy looked like water with white solids floating in it. This location is not doing to good with me, I will be switching to the one by Sherman town center. Texoma parkway sonic needs to hire some people who know what quality food looks like. Verry bad experience, I paid for 38 bucks in food and none of it came out well.

We pressed the button before 4pm during happy hour. By the time they answered the manager or owner whoever he was did not want to give us happy hour discount. Then he only gave us half off of one of the drinks. We have already had issues with location in the past we will not be back.

I visited today during lunch. A little after noon. My total was $8.83 after a $2 discount. I mentioned my coupon while ordering. Justin was the carhop. I paid with a $20 gave him a tip and the coupon. He mentioned he had to go get change. He returned gave my future coupon and $9 change. Don't know whether ge got confused or there is another issue. Since I was rushing back to work I didn't realize. I put the money in a separate location not with my other money. That's how I realized when I got back to work. So not only was I charged regular price but my coupon was taken and not used. I usually don't have issues here. Don't know whether Justin is new. My receipt was thrown away at work and is unable to be retrieved tomorrow as trash will already be dumped. If you speak to Justin, I am sure he should remember the transaction since I had a detailed conversation with him when he brought my order out. I will return today to discuss with Justin or the manager on duty.

Door dash order for a double stack and got a single patty.. and yall wonder why people rate this location so low. I will not order from sonic again not just your location but all. It’s like that at every single location. Do better especially for what you charge it’s mid tier fast food at best stop acting like it’s more than that.

The fact that’s it’s a “fast” food restaurant with no more than maybe 4 people in the parking lot and it took almost 25 minutes for A SINGLE ORDER OF TATERTOTS is absolutely ridiculous. I went to sonic for the first time in probably a year the food was awful. The french fries were cold. Hamburger didn’t even taste like a hamburger. I ordered a strawberry Sprite with extra ice and extra strawberries. The Sprite taste like the CO2 is out i i will not be going back to sonic there for a long time.

The Manager on duty, Katy, couldn't manage a trip to the bathroom. Whenever I wasn't pleased with the taste of my watermelon slush, I took it back. Twice. Both times it was remarkably difficult to negotiate. It's a drink. Take it back. Serve a new, fresh drink. Gain a repeat customer. But Katy refused to replace my drink. Michelle, you need to get your crew on the same page as the customers.

Cristal took the order and I asked if we could add some ice cream to their unicorn slush, (like they do for their other drink that's slush and ice cream mixed) and she put it on the screen. Then when it came there was no ice cream just a slushy... So when we said hey there's no ice cream... She took it back to only come out 2 seconds later saying they aren't "allowed" to do that with slushies. So I asked if I could get it on the side, she said yeah for $2 so I paid the extra $2 cause I really wanted to try it with ice cream. We spent 10 minutes waiting on the order then another almost 20 minutes waiting on a small cup of ice cream. There was maybe 4 other cars in the whole lot. This location ALWAYS has issues.

I ordered at least a cup of ice everyday and a small snack for lunch and would also grab a cup of ice after work, they were always slow and never could get the order right from the app and the app has limited options so I would call, they diqqmqqd not like that and the manager Michelle told me because I complain and ask for my order to be corrected to much she is banning me 🤣...Lazy , no good customer service, sorry you can't keep up and get orders right, rude manager who refused to give me the owners number to speak with on the matter. I would like the owner to give me a call.

I placed an order, waited for a little bit, and an associate came out to my car with the wrong order. No problem, I'll wait since my payment already went through... well, I didn't think I'd be waiting 40 minutes! hit or miss.
