My wife and I stopped in to have lunch and the gentleman named Ethan took our order. He was very polite and proper and did an awesome job. This was after a lady yelled her name at him and being very rude. Just wanted to say Ethan was the most friendly person I have had the pleasure of talking to. Oh plus the burgers and fries were great as always

I wish I had the girls name that helped us that day! My son 12 had a gift card from church that had gotten separated from the whataburger hang tag it was on when he received it. So I had one thing-the tag with a barcode that said Whataburger $15 and he had the actual card that you swipe with $15 & the code on it, but they were the same gift card🙈anyways we ordered the total amount we thought we had and we did not have any money left to pay the difference when we realized we only had one card for $15 and ordered $25 and Since there was only one gift card and not 2, as we thought, they somehow fixed the order took off the extra drinks? and I believe the manager or manager on duty at the time paid the difference! 🤩 I meant to call back up there, but I did not have The proper receipt to identify her or the transaction with! But it was a school day and there was school the next day, so Mon-thurs @4:15-25pm and she knows who she is. She is a young lady very experienced and she did go above and beyond, and I would love to pay her back in someway so this is a shout out to the young lady at Sherman Whataburger drive-through, who gave a single mom with no cash left a 7 piece chicken strip dinner for her son with a chocolate shake! and even though I said not to, she still gave me my drink as well! He was so hungry that day! I greatly appreciate you! On top of that, my son has NEVER been to Whataburger and for some reason formed an opinion that he didn’t want to go there and didn’t like that place, but he loves it now!!! He’s picking it over all of your competitors! Thank you so much! If you know who the worker is, please reward her! I think blonde/brown hair short or it was tied back, maybe 20 years old..🙏🧡🧡👍 sorry for holding up the line, but I was receiving exceptional customer service! exceeding customer expectations on their first visit! Could’ve been traumatic and the last time we came, but it wasn’t. I think I’ve come back two more times in the same week since that happened!🫶😁👍

What I really appreciate is the service. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy times. It’s nice to see them making an effort to ensure that your order is just right.
Overall, a good visit. Food was great. Place was clean. Not sure why we always have to ask for ketchup , though. We were there during lunch and noticed the place seemed to cater mostly to the drive through customers. Two things of interest to restaurant management: 1) Everyone was helpful and very courteous to the customers, except for the cashier who was apparently having a bad day. He was not polite or friendly to any of the customers or even his fellow employees. He should not have been in the front of the store. 2) My wife and I also noticed a lady that walked in the front door with a large Stanley thermal cup that promptly filled it with ice and soda. She then walked out the door. The cashier mentioned earlier didn't say a thing. We thought we were on an episode of ABC's.What would you do.

Whataburger is the greatest burger I've EVER eaten. I originally cringed at the price of a #2 but it was amazing, especially with the spicy ketchup, just WOW. As a refugee from NY to Texas, I wanted to finally try something local, and it was just incredible👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Let's face it, bidenflation has caused the price of everything to increase. Even my favorite #2 with cheese and spicy ketchup went up by $1. However, after working a few hours of overtime on a Saturday, the consistently great service, and the incredibly filling tasty treat of a double with cheese made it worth the price. Even with a packed house on this beautiful northern Texas afternoon, the Whataburger staff got my order right❤🤍💙👏👏👏🇺🇲
Such a great experience! Went through the drive through last night and they were sooo many cars and it was so busy. But every employee we encountered (which was probably 3-4) were all so kind and had great attitudes, communicated clearly and kindly. They got the food out quick and correctly and the burger…oh wow. It was the best burger I have gotten from whataburger! All the condiments and veggies were perfectly proportioned, bun was perfectly toasted. It was so delicious it’s gonna be difficult for me to not go back there again today! 10/10 experience and we were very impressed. Don’t know if they got new management or if they just started making changes, but either way y’all were awesome!!
This is my goto place after I workout. Food is good, price is right, and mostly the people are kind and accomodating. Lauren and Cathy take great care of me.

I visited for lunch today and noticed there's a new manager, Brittany. She seems like a very pleasant individual, and the food was served in under ten minutes. I anticipate returning again soon.
Nice service. Alex seemed like a nice guy Edit: Really was good service, but this review was solicited. I'm not changing my rating because it is what I agreed to do. A staff member came out asked if anybody in my group (college students) would be interested in a dessert if we left a five star review. Most if not all of us did, but it does make me wonder if this is common practice, especially because he was soliciting FIVE star reviews and confirming we left them.

I WILL ONLY EVER GO TO THIS WHATABURGER! I have been to many whataburgers in my life. But I now live in Arkansas and don’t have access to them often. I came across this lovely facility during some recent travels and left wanting to come back! Which has never happened before. The manager and staff were all overly kind and welcomed us in as if we were everyday regulars. The food was quick and hot and SOOOO tasty! This whataburger will be the only one I will go to when making my Texas travels! HIGHLY RECOMMENED. The manager Shelby was such a kind hearted blessing and a joy to meet! Made me and my family of 7 feel like family
We are on a road trip home to Texas from Arkansas with our two kids. It's been a long day in the car, and I managed to order from the wrong Whataburger which by time we arrived was half an hour in the opposite direction. Everyone here was so nice and helpful - they made our complete order for us at their location as quick as they possibly could. Service from everyone at the location was so friendly and professional. Great job across the board!! thank you!
Customer Service is outstanding! Team Leads and employees are super friendly and easy to talk with. The restaurant is SUPER CLEAN which is HUGE in today’s market. A delightful young lady named Madyson greeted me and took my order and then brought it to my table when it was ready. Sammy, a manager, stopped by my table and checked on me. Great food, fast, and fairly priced. I had the patty melt, onion rings and, sweet iced tea. Excellent customer service.
I never usually go inside but I'm traveling so I went ahead inside, ordered my food and did all the usual stops you do along a road trip. Very glad I did. It's not often you see such a warm atmosphere and the young lady who took my order. I didn't catch her name, but she had the most pleasant and wonderful personality about her. It's just an uncommon thing to experience at any fast food restaurant in the middle of the night I must say, but definitely this place is worth noting. Restaurant had a peaceful atmosphere. It was clean, restrooms were clean and again the young lady that helped me was just pleasant and helpful and kind.
Foods always great!!! Only thing they need to improve on is getting the food out quicker as pretty consistent ly at all Whataburger's always a decent slow wait for your food hope your not in a hurry. Always clean always clean bathroom but overall a still a great place to get a burger or a yummy breakfast. Great value considering the portion size fresh and juicy.

Very nice woman took our order and she even walked back to the cooks too make sure they understood the order. When we received one of the burgers it was slapped together in a big hurry. They remade it. The only thing that was asked was to put mayo on both buns. Mayo was all over the wrapper and hardly any on the actual burger. Everything else was great.
I have always said I wouldn't want to live anywhere that was more than 15 minutes from the nearest Whataburger. Then last week i moved in with my sister. And this one is actually 17 minutes away. OK, I won't quibble over an extra 2 minutes... Especially if the people running are "people friendly"... Food is not different from the local one where I used to live. Great sandwiches, fries seem to be a bit saltier however.
Offer a quick meal for a reasonable price point. But the lack of personnel is hurting the customer experience. For example, on the day I visited there was only a single cashier which had the line of customers almost out the front door. Maybe automation is needed, I understand keeping overhead low, in order to still offer services at a reasonable price. But I feel the customer experience is going to affect business. Good luck
Our grilled chicken Cobb salad, patty melt, and fries were excellent. It was quite busy and the young men at the front counter did great (grace under pressure) especially with one lady screaming get the manager. She must've been having a bad day. Thank you for making mine great. 4 stars because rootbeer was out and there wasn't a sign that said that; again, quite busy so boys probably didn't have time to deal with it
Went here for the first time while on a long drive and it was pretty damn good. I Don't eat a lot of fast food, but it's better than most of its competitors in my opinion. People are nice. The facility was clean and it was a good value compared to say McDonald's.
They are very friendly. Maybe a Lil slower than the Micky place for kids, but the friendliness & cleanness makes ot worth it. Better coffee too!!!
My first time stopping at a Whataburger. I got the sweet heat burger fries and drink. Hubby got the jalapeno burger and added bacon. Burgers are good size. I remember when the "other" burger places had burgers this size. My burger had a good tang. Was very sticky, had to washy hands before finishing my fries. Love the spicy ketchup not really spicy but had good flavor. Thumbs up and would try another time. Hope they put some in Illinois.
This Whataburger is more consistent with how they make their food then the one by highway 1417. And their food is typically better. They don't mess up as much although they do keep forgetting my mayonnaise.

We got there and thr restaurant was full. I didn't realize that everyone arrived at the same time. The kid up front didn't warn us at all that their would be a very long wait. After 20minutes I looked back to see they had tickets that were coming from the machine all the way to the floor. That when I asked for my money back and left.. manager was quick about refund. They just should have told us up front about the wait.
I eat here decently often and most times the experience is okay at best. Food is usually good but they are very slow. Tonight was different, I went at 12am and there wasn’t much of a line and it still took over 30 minutes to get my food. Not only that but my drink didn’t have any ice, my food was already partially cold, and when the guy handed me my food I went to ask for ketchup and he shut the sliding door right away and just walked away. Disappointed today most definitely. At least my order was right.
Slightly better than the one on the south side of town but worse than the one in Denison out of the 3 I frequently go to. Slow and unfriendly service here and I've been coming here often, so I don't see it improving anytime soon.

I'm giving a low rating simply because a tray of condiments fell to the floor and most of it was picked up from the floor and placed back on the tray. The employee touched the floor, the condiments, the tray, and back-up supplies. All without hands ever being washed. So now every person that uses that tray and the condiments is touching product that was on the floor. Very unsanitary.
While the food is usually always good, the time it takes to get an order out is down right ridiculous and should not be labeled as "fast food". Almost ALWAYS we wait minimum of 20 minutes. Lat night my husband ordered 3 fries, 2 apple pies and a drink.. TWENTY-FIVE minutes he waited and that was even going in and inquiring!!!! It does not take 25 minutes for ANYTHING ordered in the fast food industry. I can get my meal at TRH faster. Whataburger is UNBELIEVABLELY slow. On MANY occasion here recently our orders have been either wrong or forgotten items. The cost of food these days doesn't allow you to just blow it off - especially when this happens over and over and over. AND OVER!! We have written off Whataburger for a while. Give them another chance down the road and hopefully things will improve. Hire competent employees. Pay them to do a job well done.

Took 32 minutes from ordering and paying at the drivethrou to get my order. 1 biscuit 1 bowl. No drinks. Wouldn't have been as bad but 5 people behind me got there order and left before I got mine.
We stopped by here for a quick bite, on our way back home. Young staff who didn't quite know what they were doing, clearly needed more training. I have nothing against new emplyees. But managen needs to be properly train the whole crew. The people in front of us in line needed a manager several times, we stood for 10 minutes, with 1 customer in front of us and was never waited on, so we left. And as we drove away, the same 3 cars that were in the drive thru when we got there, we're still waiting In Iine also. Not a place I would return to or brag about.
Not sure what it is with Whataburger, but the last few times we've gone (different locations), we've had a less than stellar experience. But, I'll stick with this location. Ordering was fine. But once we sat down, it was another 35 minutes until our food came out. We paid extra for cheese on a kid's burger, but it didn't have cheese. We also asked for no mustard on one burger. It came with mustard. Went to the counter to get cheese, and hopefully correct the mustard on the burger, but it was another 10 minutes. We noticed several people waiting around for a while along with us. I think we're done with Whataburger.
I love whataburger but the staff at this location is absolutely incompetent. Orders are almost always incorrect. I ordered a burger tonight, got home and realized it’s all wrong. I went back up there and they agreed to remake it the way I ordered it and I got the new burger and I kid you not it was made wrong again, the same way they made it the first time. They are incapable of making burgers to order, forget about adding or removing toppings, they’ll never get it right.
Subpar is a compliment. I've been here multiple times just to make sure. Restaurant inside is usually dirty, trash on tables, floor slippery with grease. Menu items are made incorrectly and most often slow, even for fresh made. Menu items are not made with care, but cost more than local restaurants. Go to Wannaburger or MG's. You'll pay less or the same for better food and better, FASTER service. This used to be that. Now it's on par with the golden arches off of texoma parkway.
I placed a curbside order around 11:50am the app said it should be ready by 11:55-12pm. I arrived just before 11:55, the employee came to my car asking for my name and repeating it back wrong, I kept correcting her on what the name was she never got it right. It was very frustrating to see all the other cars that came after me get there food first. Finally after waiting at least 20 minutes I got my food but didn't get to eat it since I was now running late for the dr. I finally got to eat it after my 2 and a half hr appointment discovering they put whatasauce instead of mayo as I requested. I'd suggest to get orders correct and out on time and have an easier way to cancel mobile orders like McDonald's does.
We love Whataburger…we do, but mostly for lunch/dinner. I got off work and thought I’d get my family some breakfast and I chose Whataburger. What I ordered-photo attached. But I got pancakes for my smaller kids. It’s summer they stay up late and wake up late so they woke up around 12 ish and I go to warm up their food and tear the pancakes into pieces for them and the pancakes aren’t even done. I mean the batter was clear as day…..mind you I had to wait about 20 minutes for my food even though I placed it on the mobile app and gave ample of time for it to be ready. I work in a restaurant part-time and we serve pancakes plus I’m a mom I’ve made pancakes about a million times so I know when pancakes are done-definitely not batter oozing out. I called the restaurant (of course I know it’s not breakfast time anymore) and Courtney the manager came off a little rude. She stated “well it’s not breakfast any more so there’s nothing I can do about that”. Well ma’am, no apology was given at all, she didn’t offer to remake it for the next morning (or another time) until I mentioned it. She said “I wasn’t here this morning and you need to call customer service to get your money back”. Well I wanted to give Whataburger another chance not go directly for a refund. The pictures don’t give it justice but 2 out of 6 pancakes were cooked correctly. So my kids didn’t even get to eat their food had to get them something else.

Spent 30 minutes in the deive thru with one car in front of me. Girl took my order disappeared then came out and took it for a third time. After 15 minutes another girl came to the car and asked me my order. After 25 another girl came and asked. I had a #1 and a justaburger. Another 10 minutes they gave me the food and I was trapped in line. 10 minutes later asked for a refund and left
This is so disgusting you cannot even hardly eat it. I specifically ask for easy, easy mayonnaise and I open the package of a chicken sandwich and the mayonnaise is so heavy on there. It’s all over the wrapper on the inside totally the opposite of what I ask for and I’m going to get in touch With corporate.
Worst I mean worst at getting orders in a timely manner. There is no way anyone should wait more than 35 minutes to get a simple order when there is no rush of people at counter. Then the rush of about 30 students and people that has been waiting still do not get their order. While some of the students start getting their orders. Unacceptable and the manager only have one person working the register. Simply poor management skills or abilities.

Not happy we went 6-28-25 about 10:50pm waited in line until 11:30ish 2 cars behind us got their food and was stuck behind us in drive thru and were not happy campers.when our food arrived we were missing 2 orders of fries and a brownie that we ONLY ordered because they said they was in competition with another facility... Ordered an online order through DoorDash, you can’t add sauces to your order, so after I placed the order I called the store to add the sauces for our MEAL with FRIES that we ordered, I was told they’re 43¢. I asked them why they wouldn’t be free with our meal since we got fries, I was told only ketchup was free. I asked to pay over the phone, I was told no. Absolutely ridiculous service and concept over a fast food restaurant sauce.
Bout the slowest drive thru I've ever experienced since moving to Sherman. Everytime there's something missing or the food took way too long idk what y'all got the grills on but maybe set them a little bit higher temp. Noticed Whataburger as a whole degrade after selling out. Anyway if y'all want burgers just drive a few mins up the road to Culver's.
Everything has gotten worse at this location since Whataburger has been sold and is no longer strictly a Texas company. This location takes a long time to create your order they make so many mistakes items are missing. This is happened on multiple occasions I've given them chances to make things right but I'm tired of trying so I'm no longer coming to this Whataburger and no longer supporting Whataburger. They need to take a serious deep dive into their customer service as well as their accuracy taking your order.
It took 30+ minutes in the drive through for a breakfast order. The girl was doing her best but obviously severely understaffed for a restaurant on a main drag.
Alyssa (cashier) was great and very friendly. She took my order at 8:15. I did not receive my food (2 biscuits with gravy) until 8:28 and i had to ask for it! The food was fine. The coffee in the pot was lukewarm! The floor was slick and slippery! Multiple people almost fell while i was eating. Drive thru was steadily pushing people forward to wait on their food. I understand this makes the drive thru times LOOK good but it is BS because the person is still sitting there. They have a guy out power washing the drive thru while this is going on ... maybe they should ise that labor to take care of customers (JUST A THOUGHT) Photos attached to verify order and times
Don't go here. They don't know how to listen to you when you give your order. They hire a bunch of snarky teenagers who give the impression that they don't want to even be there. Spend a little more money and get a much better burger elsewhere.
Had to wait 30 minutes for 3 tacos. And they could not comprehend that I wanted sausage and potato And wasn’t offered any kind of condiments. Now I have no picante and 3 cold tacos. Worst most incompetent of any Whataburger I’ve ever been to.
Worst service ever took my order told me to get in Lane B after I was already in Lane a took them 30 minutes to bring out my order then they helped the lady behind me first before they gave me my order then forgot my drinks then had to go back and get my drinks really? 5 cars went by with there orders before I even received mine I asked the kid what the problem was and he said they were really shorthanded maybe corporate needs to hire adequate help
Terrible service! Madyson was terrible. Idk how she became a manager other than lasting longer than the others.
Normally this specific location is on top of things; quick and efficient. Not today. I’m 6mo pregnant and placed a curbside order bc I wanted it to be quick. No one was in the drive through and no one was inside, just 3 cars in curbside parking (including myself). No only did they take a while to bring the food out, but the only thing that was correct with my order was the drink. I should’ve known to check my order once handed to me, but because I already waited a while, I decided to just trust it was right. Nothing food wise was correct. When the lady brought out my food, she didn’t know which spots were which and just confirmed my drink with me. No receipt to even double check it was the right order, no name confirmation. Pretty disappointing..
Worst whataburger in the nation. I have never ordered from here and gotten the fully correct meal. Fries are always cold. Service is always slow.
Slowest service ever. We love whatsburger but literally have to plan at least 30 minutes to get it.
Good day all... So another WTH-burger and another dismal service experience. Drive thru lane not bad but I've got to question management or corporates policy on pushing people thru the cash window to then sit and wait for your food, and wait and wait. Today i did not drive forward i told the girl, two of them, "no thank you, I'll wait here", they didn't like that. Seriously what difference does it make? You've taken my order and 3 to 4 vehicles behind me, are not gonna make my food till i pay and then have me move off into the nether to wait on my food? Those folks, you all, and myself know your slow, either because your employees don't care or just dint know what they're doing both of which reflect on both store management and corporate bosses that could care less about their store. I will not moved forward again when i go to your drive thru AND I STRONGLY SUGGEST EVERYONE THAT GOES THRU DRIVE THRU DO THE SAME. THEY WOULD HAVE US ALL WAIT ON THEM ON EITHER SIDE OF THE REGISTER. FOR ME I'LL WAIT AT THE WINDOW. IF PEOPLE DRIVE OFF WITH OUT THE FOOD IS BECAUSE THEIR STAFF IS LACKING SOME HOW SOME WAY. WHATABURGER - FIX THIS.
So I went into the whataburger drive thru line expecting it to be a little busy on a Sunday and I ordered a breakfast burger meal. I waited in line for over 30 mins and i had multiple cars pass me in line and when i got my burger there was barley any sauce on the burger…. And I’ve had this burger multiple and im a huge fan but I’m very disappointed and upset at my visit..
Can’t handle a high volume of work I guess? Pulled up to an empty drive through and was told they got a big online order so it would take 15-20 minutes for a kids meal cheeseburger.
Went to the drive thru family order, shorted us all the fries, went back go inside only filled fries halfway. No apology, no adults in sight. This place just gets worse and worse.
Just got a burger cold and cheese not melted. Fries cold. No biscuit and bacon in my bag. Spent 17.00 for terrible food. I wont be back. But of course they dont care.
Don’t come to this location any time after 9:00 pm or during a rush. Food was fine but I waited 45+ minutes for my takeout order which somehow got lost. As a service worker myself it shouldn’t take that long when I was the only person inside who wasn’t working. No apology for wasting my time. I will personally be making the extra drive to avoid this location. Really disappointing for Whataburger.
If it was a zero star button that what I would do. I went to this Whataburger on my break which was 30 minutes. All I order was some boneless wings. These folks took the whole break and still ain't have my food. I had to ask for a refund and I returned to work on an empty stomach. Do not support places like this. Customer service is trash
Horrible!! Spent $51 on a mobile order waited in the parking spot for 20 minutes and nobody came. Had to go in to get food that was ice cold, and even had ro make our own drinks. DO NOT GO THERE..!
For about the last 3 years or so, this has consistently been the slowest whataburger I have ever been to. If there's even just 1 car in the drive through line plan on a 20+ minute wait for a burger and fries. The manager of this place needs to be fired. That is all.
I never make petty reviews, but there’s a first time for everything I suppose. I made a mobile order that was set to be ready between 11:02-11:05 and didn’t get my order until 11:35 whatever no big deal right? We check our fries and they are ICE cold.. whatever it happens right no big deal. We open our burgers.. two ice cold patty melts .. I ordered a double Whataburger and she got a single Whataburger .. completely wrong. So I go back and politely explain what happened despite my frustration. They say they are going to have to throw away the food .. with people starving around the world would it not make sense to keep the wrong order and save for another day and simply make what I ordered in the first place? But I’m met with attitude like I’m in the wrong and she insists that she has to throw away the food to make us our ORIGINAL order that I placed an hour ago. So they make our food with one reluctant apology and I leave. A 10 year old could run that Whataburger better than it is now.
Ok I almost never write reviews but the manager night today Jan 12 2026. At 9:30pm she was the most rude person I have ever met. I’m not sure if she is racist against Latin or what but never ever again. Don’t go if you are Latin at night. She almost was rude with my English and rude. Just can’t believe first time this happens to me in USA. No more racist people
Extremely disappointed. Waited over twenty minutes for an order of three pancakes, and when I went up to ask for a refund, the guy explained their water's turned off. So they can't even make pancakes. Why would you even accept an order that you know you can't make
They're always playing around and taking their time rude and don't greet a customer leaving you standing there for at least 5 minutes or so before saying oh I will be right back when there's 2 tables with teenagers in the whole restaurant and a couple cars in the drive thru. Actually I have found it to be the norm for at least 3 of the 5 locations I've been to. Which is sad because it's like a trend to hire kids to work the evening and late night shifts because who cares about the night customers. Customer service as a whole has changed for many fast food places today.
Waited over a hour for 2 meals and when I asked for a refund, the girl at the register said no refunds will be given out because they’re too busy. How about telling people there is going to be a long wait before they order and make people wait until you’re done with the rush to take orders again. Lousy service, rude employees. Had to throw $25 away and leave without our food because my baby was crying because she was hungry
