Had a fun dinner with my girls. They loved the food and had a good time trying new things. The waitress was lovely with them and made us feel welcome. The girls requested to come back soon and kept thanking me for bringing them. Had a great time.

Sushi was fresh, drinks filled up, and decently sized rolls for the pricing. Shumai is also very good. This place is nice and quiet as well, good atmosphere and polite waitress

Absolutely mind blowing. The seafood ramen is only 13.95 and gives so much noodles, alot of meat, and broth so rich that it makes billionares jealous. The tempura salmon is really good too!

Love Sushi is our go-to sushi place in Simi Valley. The servers and sushi chefs are friendly and the food is fresh. We've only had to wait more than 15 minutes a few times but it's worth the wait!

The fried tofu steak (age dashi tofu) was a surprise hit. The sashimi salad was generous and filling. We dined in and the atmosphere was very chill. Skip the asparagus next time. Service was so fast, friendly and professional. Can’t wait to return!

The next time we will prepare to “feast”! What I did get was the SWEET HONEY ROLL 🥰😋 Sprimp tempura, fresh eel, with spicy tuna, crab, crunch, and eel sauce.:: 16.95 / 13 cut rolls Need more with this 😍 I need some meats and double portion of the rolls 😍😍🥲🙌 We will do a return visit! Will update!! Stay tuned!!

The food is really good here. I haven't had a bad experience and I've been coming here for years. Pretty cool they offer free dessert sometimes.

Came to Love Sushi for the first time and I hate to say that may be our last as well. Although the mixed tempura was pretty good, the sushi were not so great. They added too much eel sauce which made the sushi wet and too sweet. Service was alright, the server made sure he took our plates as they became empty but he wasn’t too personable until we asked for the check.

Although the Reviews are all mostly about the sushi. I did not try a lot of it, and only had a spicy tuna roll which was okay. I did have a craving for ramen and my spot was a bit far away and close on Sundays I opted for this place since it's down the street from where I currently live. I ordered the garlic edamame which was horrible. I'm used to garlic butter sauce but this place had a garlic and sweet thick sauce on the plate. Maybe this is how they make it, but to me it was way too sweet and sticky it over power the garlic. Next was the ramen. I ordered the beef ramen and it looked like a water down beef broth which had no flavor. The 4 pieces of hard chewy beef had no seasoning either. The ramen looked like one of those instant ramen. I paid 35 dollars for a horrible tasting dish. And to top it off they added the tip into the total without asking or letting me decide if I wanted to tip for the service.

I recommend not ordering things with chicken - had a pretty good size bone in one piece of their chicken teriyaki roll (pictured) and another piece of bone about half the size of the one pictured. When I called to let them know they said they were sorry and they’ll be more careful next time, so there is that. But since we ordered and picked up food when there was only one other person there, I’m not sure why someone was that careless to begin with. I’m not going back but feel free to give them a try with non-chicken things.

For lunch I had the sushi combination #2. The salad was fine. The sushi was mostly inedible. Normally, I will never leave a morsel of sushi on my plate. The fish just did not taste right in the spicy tuna roll or the nigiri pieces. I left most of it on my plate.

I really use to love the lunch specials at this place, however just got lunch special Chicken Teriyaki the chicken had more fat then chicken and their were bones and on top of that the price went up. Price should not go higher while quality go's lower.

09/12/2023 Love Sushi Simi Valley Incident Good sushi, but TERRIBLE, HOSTILE waitress. The older Asian lady went as far as following us outside of the restaurant (2x) forcing us to tip & saying it was required by their restaurant’s policy. Otherwise she would choose any of the tipping option for us. & constantly putting a hand & shoving me & my partner when we decided to walk away from this closed end of a conversation & be stern with our customers rights & not tip her. How DARE she put a hand on us. I don't know if that is enough to be assault and battery, but it's still wrong. NEVER going here again. I hope that everyone who read this never have a terrible traumatic experience like this. & take this to consideration. She was very aggressive, constantly yelling, & could NOT hold a civil conversation. After we reviewed the CA gratuity tipping laws, it is not required for the customer to tip unless it is a big party of 5(+) then there is a mandatory tipping policy which is totally understandable & #2) the employee cannot force the customer to tip when it’s not mandatory or part of the state’s tipping policy. We were a party of 2, ordered two sushi rolls & a water. We weren’t hostile, stressful, or messy customers. We simply ordered, politely ate, paid our bill & left. So we went back to the restaurant to genuinely politely ask for the proof of the force tip policy that she was speaking of. She wouldn’t give us proof of their restaurant policy instead resorting to unnecessary aggression, threats, & yelling. She also tried to lie & make it sound that we are mistreated her when that had nothing to do with what we are talking about. We simply asked for the proof of their restaurant policy which every food industry or business company always have a physical copy at hand. (which I know because I also have working in food & restaurant settings before and also had unpleasant experiences of my own & there was a system of where to go and what to do with those issues. & I have never heard of the forced tipping policy that she was speaking of before. & it doesn’t hurt to just politely ask about their restaurant policy.) We did not raised our voice, yell, insult nor interrupt her as she was speaking like how she was towards us. & from looking at past reviews on yelp & other sites, this unfairness & aggression of their waitresses seem like a reoccurring issue.
