This place had good service and I enjoyed the meal. The various salsas were very good. The red sauce on the enchiladas ranchero was very good— deep red and rich and reminded me of southern New Mexico cuisine. I’ll definitely come back.

11:30am-12:00pm 1/17/18 The cashier cheated me change. Food was fantastic my guest enjoyed taco salad. I had a custom burrito. For 2 people it was under 20.00, Waitress was great. Salsa was a bit hot bit still good. Worth stopping at if you pass through.

Fantastic service. Quality food at a fair price. Beef fajita plate and drink cost me $12 at the time of writing this, and the portion was almost more than I could handle. I'm a big fella. A couple weeks ago, I went and got food from Miguel’s in town. (Hubbys choice). Tonight for the Super Bowl, we went and got food from Arandas for the first time. (My choice) we were NOT disappointed! This food is so much better than any other Mexican food place I’ve gotten from. Amazing! I will be back!! Great food for the price you’re paying! The staff were very polite and helpful.

Me and my friends were in town. We've never been in the area before, but this restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. Food was really good classic Mexican food, and even though there was a huge group of us; it was only about a 10 minute wait for everyone to get food. Area is almost in the middle of nowhere, but definitely worth the stop if passing by for a good bite to eat. 👍

Food was Very flavorful, fast service !! Restraunt was very clean. I didn't use restrooms so no idea on that. Iwould have given a 5 if serving was a little bigger I had a fajita Salad it had lots if meat but not enough salad. Chips and Salsa were ok chips hot and crisp salsa just ok not too hot but mostly tomatoes. I personally like more onion, peppers and garlic. I would definitely stop again though.

Inexpensive good food, with fresh fried tortilla chips, salsa was delicious. #33 (flat steak, shrimp, record beans, rice, pico de Gallo, guacamole with tortillas) was big enough to serve two. All in all an excellent stop for breakfast on way home from Lubbock.

Super cute lil spot, ifnyour going through the drive through, be prepared to wait for steaming hot right of the skillet food. Check your food to make sure its right, people are super kind.

The servers and the food was great. I would definitely be back to eat there again. The menu had a lot of traditional and special dishes. The cost of the menu we're very responsible.

Was in Lubbock to drop off my daughter so on out way back down to San Antonio we stopped for some tacos. The food was good seasoned but the amount and size is why they get 4 stars. Might be different if you order in so i will give them a shot next time we go through.

I truly enjoy stopping here, for a delicious, man-sized burrito - be it breakfast, or lunch! At the same time, I have to admit that I'm a huge fan of their dinner platters, as well! With so many dishes to choose from, it's not an easy decision to place an order! I would definitely recommend this place, to anyone looking for a great meal, at an affordable price!

My first time trying this place out with my parents who always go. Seems like a lil hole in the wall kind of place coming to the parking lot. Not going to lie my father always finds places like this and it’s nerve raking sometimes. I was really surprised once I stepped inside it was nice and clean. Cute restaurant, even has a small bar with beer and liquor. Drive thru window. I ordered a Michilada it was really good!! I also ordered a chicken fajita taco salad it was good as well! Probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Slaton/Lubbock area!! I will come back again!!

Well lit and clean at first glance. Servers were prompt and attentive. We came when it was closer to closed but that did not stop the quality of food and service. Great place. We need to try thier breakfast next time.

Looks like a hole in the wall and I only went there based upon someone else's recommendation. But they served me the best cheese enchilada I had ever eaten. Fast forward to 2025 and I still tell people the best cheese enchilada I have ever had was at this restaurant.

Food is great but the manager or owner needs to do something about the flies. We had five flies we had to fight off our food and drinks!! Not good!!

I can't say I didn't like it here. It was a nice little place, and our booth was rather large and comfortable. The food was okay, but not anything to really rave about. We ordered chips and salsa, which only cost a dollar. When I asked the waitress to bring ranch with it, she brought the entire bottle. To me that just seemed unsanitary at the very least because the entire bottle was not mine to take home. She didn't even bother to give me a little bowl to pour some into. Don't get me wrong. The service was good, it just wasn't very professional. I read a review saying that there were cockroaches coming out of the baby changing table in the bathroom. I saw no cockroaches. However, I also saw no changing table, as the bathroom was almost too small for even one person to fit into. Very clean, in terms of what could be expected of an older building.

Food is decent but the place was very dirty, caked layers of dust on the blinds, lights, food crumbs on the floor where no one has been sitting. Makes you wonder what the kitchen is like.

The food is good..but i went through drive up and ordered 2 carne gisada burritos and 2 barbacoua burritos and they were real small. The carne gisada burritos literally had two pieces of meat on each one..i guess its 1 dollar per piece of meat and .50 cents for tortilla

I went into my lunch break which this was down the street of where I worked at. I noticed many people come here. So I thought it was a great place. I had an hour for lunch. I finally got my order in for me and my spouse. We waited and waited. By the time my food got there My lunch was already over. It took a whole hour for me to get my lunch. But not only did I get that experience. I noticed my boss was eating here as well. I didn't say nothing I watched. They as well did not get to enjoy their meal because their whole time was taken up by waiting on their food. This was the first time trying this place. When The cash register lady asked me how was everything. I told her Poorly. That it took to long and we didn't have a chance to try Our meal that we ordered. Well She still charged us close to 50.00 for Our meal. The meal we did not get to eat. But had to pay for. This was an ordinary experience at this place. Great place but poor service. My apologies for speaking the truth

Was here a couple of days ago.. Was looking for a little quick mexican food in Slaton. Once i was by the register paying my food me and my buddys noticed a roach just freely walking on one of the booths.. Very disgusting

There was roaches in my food. There has been multiple cases where people have complained about roaches and even maggots in their food. This place needs to be inspected!!!

There was cockroaches crawling behind me on my booth thank God my friend saw them.. we told them and they never even came to look or kill them.. we stood in line for 5 min to tell them we were leaving and would not pay bc we didn’t eat much of our food and the whole time the roaches are Just crawling around nobody ever went over there to do anything.. something tells me they know they have them they didn’t act surprised!!

Horrible!! I ordered a corne burrito and they gave me some nasty burrito with soggy tomatoes and soggy lettuce white stuff in it. I guess it was a supreme buritto that I didn't order and that cheese they are using is not the right cheese its sharp cheddar not the real cheese and watered down tea LOL never again. Go to Casa Del Mugel they are great!!!

The food is not good! The wife's order came out and was not what she ordered, we overheard someone else saying their order was also wrong! The service is slow as molasses and check out was there longest check out I have ever experienced! Would not recommend this establishment at all!! By the way 1 star is way too much credit..

Was there Saturday night around 8pm the food was amazing the service great but the cashier was horrible she had a attitude because we paid with a hundred dollar bill having to wait for change and her getting it out of her purse and putting money back in just makes me think there something sketchy because she didnt even put the change back in the register even though she didn’t speak good English but that wasn’t the problem..i feel like in a food establishment the dress code needs to be more appropriate she was showing everything her shirt was so small the back of her tights were half way her back it makes me sick to see someone like that…this is a family restaurant not a strip club.. The other waitress were dressed appropriate what bother me the most was her attitude and how she would just look at me like I was stupid…

Went in to get dinner for the family they forgot my order and when I corrected them they got upset and I told them no cilantro I'm very allergic when I got home and started eating it was covered in it I was up half the night throwing up and I have to be up around 2am for work that ain't right and almost 70 bucks to get sick nope not that again

Well gave it another try last week cause my friend likes to eat here. 4th time going 4th time my order was wrong or just wasn't good at all. They brought me my plate and I looked at it and asked who's it was? She said you ordered it. Wasn't even going to argue about it. Put $15 on the table and left. Never again!!

Always get overcharged approximately$1. The drive through has prices posted, but apparently they have decided to charge more for the food if you drive through. Also charge extra for chips even when ordering guacamole AND cheese dip.

Terribly dirty. Lots of flies in the restuarant. Food is not very good. Couldn't even finish my meal. Chipss were stale, then a fly landed on them. Took 1 bite and a fly landed in my enchilada. I had to leave, Ican only imagine how the kitchen looks. The flies are rampant. Its nauseating. Will never return.

After ordering a Torta De Jamón, I was giving a Chalupa, in which I called and notified them. Upon arriving back there, they asked me to repay for my food. The worker got made bc I told him I wasn’t going to repay for something I already purchased. He refused to give me my receipt that I asked for(they never gave me) I will never be returning to this place again. The male worker was rude and unprofessional.

UPDATE.. I still haven't received any response from owner yet! Ridiculous! They have cockroaches!!!! I was using the restroom with my nieces and nephews after we ate and they were climbing out from being the diaper changing station. When I had called to speak to a manager the woman that answered the phone hesitantly replied she was the morning shift manager. I had described what happened in the restroom and that it was unacceptable for a good restaurant and I wanted a refund on for our meal. She said that it was because they were located next to the fields and they couldn't help that they had them. Then she proceeded to laugh and says "Atleast they weren't in your plate!" At that point I knew I wasn't getting anywhere speaking with her and gave her my number and asked to have the owner call me. She laughed and replied "ya, sure thing" and hung up the phone on me....... Still haven't received a phone call from owner 3 days later!!!!! $115!!! Will not be returning

For the second time in a row, I get the wrong breakfast burrito. The first time I let it slide, cause they remade it, and apologized. The second time they didn't even apologize. And me, one of my money back made it seemed like it was the end of the world. They're inconsistent with being open in the mornings. And their customer service extremely sucks. And it seems like if you don't speak spanish.They have lack of respect for you. Now, i've had dinner here, and it was always good. It just sucks when I want a simple egg bean and cheese burrito. I can't seem to never get it ?

Purchased Texas delight plates. All three people that ate them had stomach issues and lots of gas. One had stomach ache issues the following day. We love that plate but this time that plate had issues. Be careful.
