Me and my girlfriend went here for our 4 year anniversary and as always insignia did not fail to impress. For an appetizer we got a dozen east coast local oysters and the thick cut bacon and it was so good highly recommend. For dinner we got the wagu tomahawk for 2 with lobster baked potatoe and broclinni with a bottler of frank family wine and it was all so delicious. To finish it all off they gave us a free cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary and it was just delicious. They sat us in this tented in room that was alittle noisy from the wind but other than that no complaints , be aware though if you are planning on drinking or getting wine the price tag can be high at least 200$ a person. Overall 97/100

My husband and I often passed by this place, and for our 15th anniversary, we finally decided to try it. The ambiance was lovely; just what you’d expect from an upscale steakhouse. Our waiter, Anthony, was knowledgeable about the menu and specials, and he, along with the hostess and everyone who served us, was warm and attentive. The food was good, and I left satisfied. Since it was our anniversary, they surprised us with two complimentary desserts, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. The prices were in line with what you’d expect for a nice dinner with wine. I did enjoy my steak, though I had requested it well done and it arrived a bit rare for my taste. It was my first time trying it that way. Anthony offered to bring out the hot stone so it could be cooked more, but I decided to give it a try. Not bad, though not quite my preference. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely look forward to coming back.

Perfectly delicious Steaks & Sushi. The place is lovely & we had an amazing & attentive server by the name of Josue, he explained the menu with no rush and gave us his recommendations which we enjoy very much including the cocktails. It was a great Friday dinner & definitely coming back & hope to get Josue to serve us again.

Had a party of 17 for a celebratory wedding dinner for my husband and I there and had a great time! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to us! He made sure everything was perfect for the night!

Beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious, the ambiance was wonderful, the drinks were awesome! The service was great, and the best part of it was the outdoor patio where you could smoke, and we met an awesome couple. We didn't get their names, but they were so much fun.

Everything about our experience was amazing! Our waiter was one of the most awesome waiters I've ever had! He made us all feel so welcome and important! We were celebrating our parents 66th wedding anniversary and I am so happy we chose Insignia as our venue. Upscale but as I always say you get what you pay for. This Restaurant is Top notch. An amazing Staff. They catered to all of our dinning needs. They helped me celebrate my wife's birthday with a sparkler and dessert of her choice. This is a place you must experience at least once in your life. Their are chefs who cook at your table for certain dishes and apps. Special occasions are their specialty. Truly amazing. I’ve been here twice, both on special occasions and it’s been a wonderful experience both times. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. The seating is very comfortable and the ambiance is so nice. One of the waiters was even kind enough to give my table free dessert. Love!

5 star restaurant with amazing high quality food and meats. Top tier table side service and great selection of premium liquor. The restaurant is also so beautiful and a great backdrop for a romantic date night and some photos opportunity! I highly recommend for a special occasion meal as this is one of the most expensive meals I've ever had. For perspective the bill was about $250 per person.

Very pricey but well worth it id rather pay more and get great quality then less and get bad food . Would recommend first time going to make sure you have money for valet parking or just park ya self surf turf was great only negative is lobster 🦞. Was bland but still good I would get again The steak was on point and cooked perfectly the sides were perfect The staff we had were perfect and knowledgeable and the place gets busy fast and is always packed .

Food was out of this world - the prices are not inexpensive… however the prices are fair for the high quality food you are receiving. Seafood tower was fantastic… steaks were perfectly cooked - honestly all around an great food experience. I do have to say… not too sure about the samurai sword guy or the dry ice effects on the seafood tower… seems a little gimmicky… Long story short this place is legit and definitely worth a trip!

We got married here and we typically come here to celebrate our anniversary. Dining here is never a disappointment. This is truly a dining experience. The staff is incredible and the food is out of this world. We sat at the bar to enjoy a few drinks, and ended up staying for dinner. The staff here is extremely personable and they seem to never forget a face! Mirella organized our wedding here years ago and still remembered us! Christine has been our bartender before and always greets us by name. Christine, our bartender, not only made incredible drinks, but she is extremely knowledgeable about the food that is on the menu, the drink menu, and the wine selection. It is extremely comforting when staff is so knowledgeable about the items on the menu, the ingredients, and how they are prepared. We decided to try something new here! This time we decided to order the spicy salmon roll and the lobster roll. The portions are generous, and the spicy salmon was the best I have ever had!

Celebrated my birthday here. Ambiance and setting was perfect. Bar and dancefloor the right, laid back dining to the left. Food was FANTASTIC! Better than any steak house I've been too and I've been too quite a few including Uncle Jack's and Peter Luger's. Everything was awesome from the staff and service to the food. They even have a cigar menu that you are able to enjoy outside on premises. Terrific wine selection as well! We will definitely be back.

We’ve explored steakhouses across the country, from NYC and Ohio to Vegas, California, and Colorado, but none compare to Insignia. The food here is simply incredible, but what sets it apart is the impeccable staff and inviting atmosphere, creating the perfect night out. Yes, it’s expensive, but you’re paying for top quality, and it’s worth every penny. The steaks are cooked to perfection, the sides are delicious, and the ambiance is elegant yet comfortable. Whether for a special occasion or just a great meal, Insignia is unbeatable.

I am almost speechless writing this because of how amazing and perfect our wedding day was with Insignia. Mirela, Kaven and the rest of the staff made our dreams come true. They were attentive, kind and made sure no details were missed. Most people have things that went wrong on their wedding day.. not us. Everything went off perfectly. We had high praises on everything from the food to the drinks to the venue. I cannot stop raving about them and how everyone should have there wedding at Insignia.

How far my favorite steakhouse on Long Island. I’ve never once had a bad meal there or a bad dish for that matter. My absolute favorite is the 16 ounce bone in Wagyu ribeye for 99 bucks. Can’t go wrong. The seafood tower there is absolutely delectable. I truly mean when I say I’ve never had a better dinner.

Hands down, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! We had the absolute best staff taking care of us: Julian and Louise! Could not ask for better people! From the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere...everything was superb! I got my usual old fashion as my drink. For appetizers we got burger sliders and different selections of sushi. For entre we got the tomahawk steak, AND I GOT TO HOLD THE SAMURAI SWORD (!!!) and the Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts as sides. And how could I forget about their desserts?!?!? Nutella stuffed chocolate chip cookie and donuts! Can't wait to come back here again!

Insignia is the "GO-TO" restaurant any time my family is celebrating something. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and professional. They know the menu, they have great suggestions on things you might want to try but are never pushy either. There is an unpublished kids menu if you need it. They will absolutely work with you to accommodate your kids which to.me as a parent is important.

We celebrated our two year anniversary here. Our faves was the candied bacon that was cooked table side. We saved some for breakfast the next morning w eggs (cooked in the air fryer). We shared the tomahawk steak for two which was sliced table side with a ninja sword. The show was cool and the food was delicious too! We had the best creamed spinach. We also ordered the octopus appetizer which was lacking so we don’t recommend ordering this. Service was on point! Would come back to try the lamb chops next time.

An absolute treat. High end service makes everyone walking in their door feel like a VIP. Gorgeous atmosphere, delicious food, excellent wait staff. You will be treated like royalty. Highly recommend, especially for special occasions. We love their sushi too!

We went to Insignia tonight to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful experience and great food. Our server Julian must have been hand chosen for us. He was so patient, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I can’t say enough about how Julian made this experience as great as it was. The food was great, came out of the kitchen at a great pace as well. We felt very special with dessert he brought out to us. Nothing negative to say about our experience.

If you’re looking for someplace to go for a special occasion or to treat yourself to an amazing meal and experience Insignia will deliver. My boyfriend and I celebrates our anniversary last night and everything was amazing, the food, service and atmosphere. We’ve eaten at a lot of really nice restaurants and none of them compare to Insignia. We got a bunch of apps and a roll from the specials menu. For our entrees we of course had to get steak which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

A couple of years ago they stopped stocking Lagavulin. They also switched from fried onions with their skirt steak to onion rings. We were there last night and while it might seem like a small thing, I was happy to see the Lagavulin back behind the bar and the old style onion rings back on the plate. Back to the restaurant... the food was excellent. We got the #1 sushi roll for a shared appetizer and it was as good as I've ever had. Both our steaks were perfect. The two staff members were attentive, but not hovering. Insignia is our go-to place when we want to really "go-out", and we never have a bad experience.

Choosing to have our wedding at Insignia Steakhouse was one of the smartest decisions we have ever made. Every single aspect of the day was perfect, and that was due to the attentiveness, professionalism, and skill of the Insignia staff. I was thrilled to arrive at the venue and see everything set up exactly as I imagined, and every moment— from our beautiful ceremony on the terrace to the final song of the reception— was executed flawlessly. The staff knows exactly what they are doing and they do it exceptionally well. When it comes to the food, every single guest had rave reviews for it and the majority of them said it was not only the best *wedding* food, but the best *food* they have ever eaten. And we agree! The specific hits of the day were the torched bacon station, the Chilean sea bass, and the creamed spinach. We also have to give a specific shoutout to our head server for the day, Anna, who was attentive and lovely and ensured we did not want for anything. And of course none of this would have been possible without Mirela, who was with us every step of the way and made the entire planning process so easy. She is amazing at her job and we are so lucky to have had her on our side ensuring everything went smoothly on our special day. Ultimately, we cannot sing enough praises for the entire Insignia team. Five stars all around!

The food was very delicious and the setting was very beautifully lit, the only thing I can really say was an issue was the floor. They probably buffed which is why it was so shiny, but my foot slipped twice which could’ve ended in me falling.

There is valet parking and you will be able to choose to dine in or outdoors, either one contains a nice decor. If you like sushi and you like coconut, try their Coconut sushi. Its crunchy and sweet, very delicious. I wasn't a fan of their strawberry sushi. Who knew hashbrowns are not just for breakfast! That was delicious! Unforutanely I was disappointed with the Sword fish. It was bland under cooked. Now the Filet Mignon was worth every bite, along with my favorite Ribeye. For drinks the choice was a Coconut martini , and a sip of thier Saki ! Very delicious. Remember the best place is where your taste buds take you.

My and my husband went here for our 5 year anniversary. Overall we had a really great night. The service and experience really is impeccable. Thank you to Vincent and Sean for making our night special. To me the apps stole the show. We got the bacon and kani salad. One of the best kani salads I have ever had. Getting the bacon cooked tableside was a very cool experience and it really was delicious. We got the Australian waygu tomahawk which they cut tableside with a samurai sword which was again a very cool experience but the steak was just good. Maybe I feel that way because I can cook a really good steak so it didn't stick out to me as out of this world or anything. I think next time I would get filet or sushi. The sides were also just good. I would say a lot of the money you are spending is going to the service you are receiving and the experience. I do think they have certain things on their menu that are really good as well.

Was here for a work dinner. Food was good but prices ridiculously expensive for the portions and for what they are. Luckily the company hosting the event was paying for it, I would not pay for a salad and appetizer worth what I could pay for a more generous helping of an entree elsewhere. Get the crabcake, not the lump crab or shrimp cocktail. The mushrooms and creamed spinach go well with the steak. The dessert isn't that great for what it's worth.

Had an excellent meal there. The service was fantastic... Robert our server took care of everything and made sure the whole night was perfect. Raw clams... Very clean, sizing was a little off. For that kind of money you shouldn't have any that are the size of a quarter Specialty roll with lobster... Excellent... You are gonna pay... But it's worth it 26oz ribeye... Excellent, cooked perfect, had it blackened as suggested by Robert and it was awesome. Grilled artichoke hearts... They were very good... Just not really my thing. Surf and Turf ( my wife's meal )... We both agreed the filet mignon was the best we ever had, the South African lobster was amazing... Hadn't had one in years... Absolutely worth it. It was a belated anniversary dinner... Even though we had decided against dessert... Robert surprised us with a piece of NY cheese cake and a big sparkler... Thank you Robert it was much appreciated! If I could rate on service alone it would definitely be five stars... But as good as it was I believed it to be more expansive than PRIME and that is my go to place for special dinners out with the better half. PRIME's food is over the top. Google doesn't let me give a 4.9 so I'm restricted in giving what I really wanted to 4.9 stars

One of the best restaurants in LI! Offering a wide selection and now serving brunch! I do not recommend the French Onion Soup. The Lamb chops, Caesar Salad, and all the deserts were fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful and has a very nice bar. The outdoor area is heated and the valet makes it so easy! Highly recommend you give this place a try!

I’ve visited Insignia a few times before as the atmosphere is very chic! This visit was on Tuesday July 16th, 2024. The location is great as it’s accessible and easy to find, the valet parking adds to its high end deal but I personally don’t think it’s necessary. For this visit, my husband and I were celebrating life and I wanted to use a $50 coupon I got via text yay! The bread was a little stale, but not a huge deal. We shared oysters and I forgot which ones (east of west) I kept thinking about rap music lol. They were super tasty and very filing! My hubby ordered a glass of red sangria that he said was not good at all, I got a glass of red wine, I don’t think they had Malbec which is a bummer as it is my favorite 😒. We decided to share the wagyu beef and the presentation itself was very entertaining! We paired it with their super yummy mashed potatoes and sweet potato French fries. We also got some dessert that was just okay, not even worth recommending! Overall, this place is an experience, it’s nice for a fancy night and the waitress and service workers were really terrific! Next time we hope to have fresher bread, better desserts and some Argentinian MALBEC please🍷 The restrooms were clean and nice: fancy all over the place 😜

Insignia has a beautiful, elegant ambiance and the staff are really nice — customer service is excellent. But honestly, that’s where it stops. I ordered the ribeye and was super disappointed. I paid over $100 for a steak that looked and tasted like something from Outback or Texas Roadhouse — thin, nothing special, and definitely not worth the price. The food just doesn’t match the fancy setting or the price tag. Bottom line: gorgeous place, great service, but the food is not it.

I first went here about 5 years ago when my wife said it was the best steak she's ever had. Since then the quality has gone way down. First we were seated in the back in a part of the restaurant that would really be considered outside, but it was covered, on essentially patio furniture. The petite fillet is $65, which is insane and the cook on it was hardly the medium rare I ordered and very under seasoned. The fries were also subpar at best. On the flip side we got the artichokes for an appetizer which are always fantastic and tried the broccolini for the first time which I thought was good, my wife though did not enjoy it. Even the donuts we got at the end weren't as good as they usually were. $250 for a meal AFTER a coupon was not even close to worth it. The atmosphere is always nice and the service was excellent, but that's about all. Where we were going for all special occasions will now be cut to maybe once or twice a year and only because it has sentimental value for us to go.

Got married here and have had all our wedding anniversary dinners here. Last time was a bit of a disappointment as they served us a burnt tomahawk steak. Everything else was delicious, iberico tacos, seared scallops, truffle parm fries, and the rest of the sides, but the taste of charcoal on the steak was just ruining the dinner. If it wasn’t for the dipping sauce they give you, it would have been too overpowered by the flavor of a charred steak to eat. Was my favorite steak to get until this last visit. Service was amazing as usual.

The food was great but definitely overpriced. We went on Valentine’s Day and it was extremely packed. The service took so long but our server was nice. If it didn’t take long we would have ordered dessert but I no longer wanted to be there. At the end of the night we asked the hostess if she can take pictures of us and she did it begrudgingly while barely even looking at the camera. It was 10:30 pm EST and we had already spent close to $300. God forbid I guess we asked for too much.

The service was great! Food I honestly I can't remember. It's definitely not worth the price. Sadly, I have no recognition of the food. The only thing I could remember or recommend is the banana bread.

I've heard so much about this restaurant that I was looking forward to dining there. I had the NY Strip. It was okay. The garlic shrimp appetizer was very good. The creamed spinach was excellent but very heavy. The cheesecake desert was pedestrian. The service was very good.

The waitress was very nice and made the experience enjoyable. My only complaint is the food. The food was good but I don’t believe the quality was there for the price. I’ve spent about the same I spent here at other upscale restaurants where the food was much more enjoyable.

Went for Price fix $69 3 course meal...my wife had the Mt. Fuji Roll for appitizer and Sushi lobster roll for dinner...$10 up charge... she was extremely pleased...I had the Insignia Tacos which were fine....and the filet mignon which was not A grade, rather tough.... sent it back for another menu option ..the Insignia Steakhouse Burger...yes essentially a $69 burger... not kobe... it was good.... but not that Price good....the wine was way over priced for a 6oz pour of mid level cab for $30.... and $18 for an out of the bottle cucumber martini...medicore at best.. so in a nutshell...$300 with tip... no matter how one looks at it way over priced.... money better spent on much better grade of food.... go to motor parkway and you can find three restaurants with in a short distance of each other...

Overall not a bad experience. For the price I have had a lot better. We started with the triple spicy roll. It was $44 of mediocrity. Flavorless. The fish was rubbery and the rice was old. Not good at all. We had a ceasar salad and it was definitely not out of the ordinary. My husband and I each had the bone in rib-eye, which was excellent and cooked to perfection. The mashed potato and creamed spinach were good, but nothing to write home about. The service was EXCELLENT! And all the staff we interacted with were friendly.

Last night marked my third visit to Insignia. Our waiter was excellent—attentive to my family, great with my children. However, the food was disappointing. Unlike the other times before. It wasn't served hot, and the side dishes were lukewarm at best. The crème brûlée we ordered was cold and watery. The lamb chops lacked flavor, and my mother-in-law's chicken was dry. While the food looked great in pictures, it fell short on taste. The mac and cheese, which tasted more like Alfredo sauce, was not enjoyable, especially for my kids who didn’t like it. I hope issue’s can addresses because the service was otherwise commendable.

I used a gift card for my birthday dinner at Insignia, and the experience was deeply disappointing, especially considering the price tag. Our total bill was $320 ($380 before the gift card), yet we were seated in a tent. For a high-end steakhouse, this atmosphere was completely unacceptable and ruined the ambiance we expected. The service started out great, but a confusing charge left a bad taste. After we declined dessert, the waiter brought out a cheesecake with a sparkler as what we assumed was a complimentary birthday gesture. However, we were surprised and annoyed to find an almost $20 charge for it on our bill. While the food was only okay, the combination of being seated in a tent and being charged for an unordered "gift" makes this a very poor value. Disappointed is an understatement.

I took my adult kids, their significant others and my grandson to celebrate a big birthday. Let me first say that the Service was excellent. The food: My family said they enjoyed their entrees, which were mostly prime cuts and some pasta dishes, but they were nothing special. I got the twin lobster tails and they were inedible. Rubbery and flavorless. Yuck. I can’t express my disappointment at having spent over $1000. for a meal that wasn’t even as good as Red Lobster. I should have sent it back, but didn’t want my kids to feel bad.

Meh, not the same place it used to be. Only memorable bit of our meal was a lobster roll, and when you think of insignia, you’re not thinking sushi. Kinda sad 75 day aged rib completely charred. (Medium rare) Shrimp so fried they had no taste, Alaskan king crab additive (ground up?!) (like why wouldn’t you provide it in its shell) Just not the same anymore.

Meh, on the food. Not worth the price and the steak is comparable to Outback. If you want a great steak and a non-clubby feel where you can actually hear those in your party, go to George Martins, Tellers, or even Paces for much better dining experience and quality food. This place has a cheesy feel and is much too loud!

This review honestly hurts to write. After many years of coming here, loving the staff, and enjoying the atmosphere, my friends and I have officially stopped going to Insignia. We were some of the restaurant’s most loyal patrons, spending well into six figures here over the years. We know most of the employees by first name and always loved the experience this place once offered. Unfortunately, the massive decline in food preparation and overall quality has become impossible to ignore. Between myself and more than ten close friends, each of us has spent no less than six figures at this establishment over the years. That’s how much we believed in this place and supported it. But sadly, our time here is done. It genuinely pains me to say this, but I also don’t want others wasting their time or money on a place that has fallen off a cliff in terms of consistency and quality. Insignia used to be the place to go. Now, our group has moved our regular nights to Tellers in Islip. I truly hope Insignia finds its way back to what it once was To all my friends there from the Valet to management and the amazing host and waiters and waitresses in between. I truly hope you guys speak to the Scottos and tell them to get their stuff together. Hope to see you guys around again soon

Let me start off by saying I’m a big Scotto brothers fan. I go to their restaurants and others like it and look forward to an elevated dining experience in these types of eateries. Insignia was an underwhelming experience from start (hostess smacking her gum at the host stand) to finish (next day realizing they didn’t pack the sides that were piled on my plate, only the steak) for all the hype and the price. Julian, our server was the best part of the experience. We went for a birthday on a Tuesday night, the restaurant wasn’t busy. Hostesses are aware it’s a birthday and we are seated off to the side in a drafty corner where the main building room connects to a tent. There were many other tables in the main dining room to the left when you walk in but also in the center of the tented area that would have been better. In retrospect we should have asked for a different table but we didn’t want to be *those people*, though if the hostesses knew it was a birthday they should consider these things. The cocktail menu was very disappointing. I understand people don’t come for the cocktails but I expected more creative mixes, flavors, and ingredients. The strawberry roll was interesting and worth getting because I’ve never had those flavors together in sushi. Well done there. The burrata and tomatoes were okay, nothing special. My boyfriend’s strip was chewy and the plates come with no garnish, no roasted garlic or rosemary sprig so I thought the plating was bland, just a white plate and a hunk of meat. They served my filet mignon with steak sauce which I get having steak sauce in case people ask for it but serving it with the steak was odd to me because these steaks shouldn’t need steak sauce? The filet was very good though. Tender and buttery. The truffle mac and cheese had great flavor but was a little too watery and not dense enough, like there wasn’t enough noodles. Mashed potatoes were great and the broccoli was kind of soggy instead of crispy. I was sad none of these sides made it from my plate to home with me :( and I don’t know why that is. The chocolate mousse wasn’t mousse at all, it was heavy and dense and the top layer was like a ganache rather than a mousse though it was very good, just not what was described. And lastly I was super disappointed when I opened my takeaway box to see just steak and none of the sides I had paid money for. Overall the experience was mid, not what I think insignia should be based on the prices and what kind of dining experiencing they’re trying to portray. I expected more. We did get the prix fixe which we think was the mistake. My Bf has worked in steakhouses his whole life and suspects different cuts are used for the prix fixe menu so maybe we will be back just the two of us and order off the standard menu to see if there’s a difference.

We were there 2 nights ago for my sister’s birthday and it was a terrible experience I have been at Insignia for so many times since they opened I don’t know where to start The $120 steak we ordered was burnt and when we complained they said oh that’s normal Like I have been at so many steak houses and I know how a medium steak looks like and tastes like The French fries taste like it’s been sitting in the back for couple of days I ordered lobster pasta and lobster was so chewy I couldn’t finish it We spent more than $800 and such a disappointment and waste !

I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM UNDERCOOKED STEAK. The oyster appetizer was the only good dish I had during my time here. The service was absolutely terrible, I ordered my second drink before dinner and unfortunately it came to my table when I had two bites left of my steak. I asked for rare dry aged steak and what I received was a undercook and raw steak. About 6-8 hours after dinner I got sick and threw up my $300 dinner. Will never got back here again.

They were ignored and treated horribly. while they asked the table next to her if everything was okay they would be ignored, and even if they asked for something they would pay no attention or make a bad face. How sad that two woman looking to have a good dinner and a great drink were left feeling sad and humiliated only because they are hispanic.

I had an incredibly uncomfortable experience due to a worker I was told was named Emir. He was near our table and making movements scratching his private area. It was shocking, unsanitary, and completely ruined the atmosphere of what was supposed to be a nice night out. For a restaurant with such a high reputation, this was beyond unacceptable, and it left us feeling disgusted and eager to leave. Management seriously needs to address this.

Went There on NYE, terrible experience, food was cold, scampi pasta lacked any flavor, food was out in 10 minutes which proved it was pre-cooked. Waiter had no interest in hearing my concern. Not worth the money spent.

My husband and I have been to Insignia before, and this visit completely changed how we see this place. For the prices they charge, the service should be exceptional, instead, it was some of the worst we’ve experienced anywhere. The bartender working that night (Madison) made the entire experience uncomfortable. My husband’s drink was made incorrectly, and when he politely mentioned it, her reaction was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. After that, we were basically ignored while she focused on everyone else at the bar. Not to mention it wasn’t a busy night at the bar. For an “upscale” restaurant, this was unacceptable. The attitude, the lack of basic courtesy, and the overall treatment had us genuinely shocked. When you spend this kind of money, the last thing you expect is to feel brushed off or unwelcome. We left disappointed and frustrated, and after this experience, we won’t be returning. Insignia completely failed to meet even the bare minimum this time.

Having dined at Insignia in the past and enjoyed its offerings, I approached my recent visit with high expectations. Unfortunately, the establishment has significantly declined from its former standards, resulting in a profoundly disappointing experience that failed to meet the benchmarks of fine dining. From the moment we were seated, the service and ambiance fell short. The restaurant’s attempt to create a sophisticated atmosphere felt contrived, prioritizing social media aesthetics over substance. Food carts used for delivery repeatedly bumped into chairs, disrupting the dining experience. The presentation of dishes, such as an octopus course resembling a processed hot dog and sushi that disintegrated upon contact, lacked the refinement expected of a fine dining establishment. Even small details, like pepper shakers that poured rather than dispensed properly, underscored a lack of attention to quality. The management’s response to these issues was equally concerning. When concerns were raised with the staff, the manager offered a partial discount but did so in a dismissive manner, questioning whether we were “satisfied now.” This interaction lacked the professionalism and customer service one expects from a venue of this caliber. Further attempts to address the matter with corporate were met with an unsettling follow-up. Three days later, the manager, Emir, personally contacted me, urging me to “drop” the complaint and making an inappropriate remark: “It’s not like we killed your firstborn child.” This unprofessional and confrontational approach not only failed to resolve the issue but also felt like an attempt to intimidate rather than address legitimate feedback. Insignia appears unwilling or unable to accept constructive criticism, a critical flaw for any establishment aspiring to excellence. The manager’s lack of accountability and poor handling of customer concerns suggest a need for significant leadership changes. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend diners explore alternative fine dining options. Insignia no longer delivers the quality or service it once did, and its current trajectory is a disservice to its legacy.
