Wonderful NEW high end steakhouse in Solvang. Food was pretty good. Staff was fantastic. Definitely worth checking out! Fun menu with a good course layout. Get the marrow and a luge shot!

My wife and I had dinner a little over a week ago as an early birthday celebration. Our server Nikki was amazing. And know what she was talking about. We had the crabcakes, scallops, Beats and cheese salad, fingerling potatoes, my wife had the ribeye steak and I had the Beef Wellington. All of it was very flavorful and incredibly good. And for drinks we had an old fashion and a lemon drop. Both VERY GOOD as well. Would HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re in Solvang.

What a fantastic experience! We had dinner here for our anniversary, and it was so delicious, and the staff was incredible, friendly, and attentive. The chef/owner stopped by to chat a few times, too. Very friendly and informative, and it was so great to talk with him. We started with the Tomato salad with fresh burrata and a soup that was a seafood broth chocked full of mussels and fish. My wife had the pork chops, and I had the Wellington, and both were cooked to perfection. They brought out a warm brownie with ice cream to finish off the fantastic meal.

We had an amazing time celebrating my wife's birthday at Sear Steakhouse! The food was top-notch, with perfectly cooked steaks and delightful side dishes. The drinks were incredibly generous – a double felt like a triple, providing excellent value. The attentive service and lovely ambiance made it an unforgettable experience. The only minor letdown was the tomatoes and peach salad, which we found a bit underwhelming. However, it didn't overshadow the overall fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

Came here celebrating my engagement and it was perfect. Our waiter was beyond personable I wanted to invite him to the wedding. So amazing. Started with the tomato salad which yum! Then the soup of the day which was butternut squash and omg even better! For the meal I had the wellington and my fiancee had steak frites. Both were cooked to perfection! Ended with a brownie and it was also amazing. Nothing was bad. I have no complaints. Even the bathroom excited me haha can't wait to return for our anniversary.

A great dining experience, with very friendly staff. Every food item we had was delicious. For a starter we had burrata and for entrees we had the beef wellington and chicken, with risotto and brussel sprouts. They even provided a brownie for our anniversary. Pricey, but well worth it!

Amazing restaurant. 6 stars isn't enough. The food was delicious. Not a single bad thing on the menu. Cooked and prepared perfectly. The cocktails were great too. The bread was great as an appetizer. The salads, Cesar and mixed green were both fresh and delicious. The filet and beef Wellington were both delicious. The beef Wellington sauce was to die for. The butter cake was great as well. The above snakes cocktail was sweet but sour at the same time. The retox felt like a spa or good health drink. And the whipped potatoes are a must do. The wine selection was great too. Hats off to the great service too.

Came to celebrate MIL bday 3/25/23 this place was super cute and intimate- pup friendly with outside seating. Due to the rain their salad & veggie selection was small, but still very delicious.

Made reservations for dinner. They didn't seat us right away but as a result, they comped our cocktails. Wedge salad was really good and very fresh. Excellent 20 oz. ribeye! Try the crispy brussel sprouts. Nice and friendly staff.

Excellent evening at Sear for NYE. We opted for the Icelandic salmon, though this is a steak place. Wonderful, juicy, and flavorful. The goat cheese salad was generous and delicious! Will be coming back for their beef the next time! Outdoor area is heated, though I’d bring a jacket, if you get cold. Nice to have the ventilation, along w the heaters. Thank you for the excellent service, too!

Sear Steakhouse has tecently opened in Solvang. We decided to Celebrate our Anniversary and have a DELICIOUS dinner in honor of 10 years!! We ordered a pork Chop, Chicken ( both cooked to a perfect tenderness with a DELICIOUS Chutney sauce), mashed potatoes and a Beet Goat Cheese Salad!! I had even made a Special request to SURPRISE my husband with something on LOVE for someone who was NOT prepared for 10 VERY CHALLENGING years and came to ACCEPT with such GRACE!! The Kitchen staff and waiters delivered US a handmade card signed by All their staff!! We had a Special and unforgettable Anniversary dinner!!! Thank you Sear Steakhouse and Staff for your personable hospitality!!

Amazing dinner! We called at the last minute and they were able to seat us in 20 mins, then fed us an incredible variety of delightful foods and top notch wine. We meet Nathan, the owner and head chef, who was friendly and down to earth, and were taken special care of by Tyra, who managed the bar and all our food/ drink needs without any delay. Dinner was a great variety of the freshest oysters I've ever tasted, prefect wedge salad, delicious crab cakes, perfect lamb, and the best thing I've ever tasted- bone marrow with oxtail jam. This is a must try!!! Even if you are weary of trying new or different things, just do it!

I am pretty disappointed with the management team of this restaurant for the lack of customer service. I had called more than 3 weeks advance and explained that we were coming to have dinner for a very special occasion. The reservations were placed on Google and given full detail, and I also followed up with a phone call. I was told that they would have a very nice special seating arrangement for us next to the fireplace, which was really nice to hear. Once we arrived at the restaurant, I let them know we had reservations, so the front hostess pointed to patio seating. To my confusion, the seating outside felt very cold and not romantic at all. I let her know I was told that our seating would be inside next to the fireplace that was supposed to be really cozy. So the hostess took us to the other patio seating area and to the table. She pointed out that we have fireplaces here, meaning 20 feet away. Don't promise something when can't be delivered. Anyways, we just sat down at this point, hoping food would make up for the lack of management. Our server was totally amazing. She had a lot of great recommendations for us, which were all delicious. I had asked the meals to come out in courses to give us time to enjoy each dish. If not for amazing food and great services from the waitress, this place would probably get 0 stars, but I will give it a hard 3 stars. So, with that great job, Brittany A. She was absolutely amazing and knows what great customer service is all about.

The outdoor seating is great. The fillet mignon is so chewy, took more than half an hour to serve the food even though it’s not crowded. The only thing I liked is the mushroom risotto and the dessert.
