Love, love Dinucci's always have dinner when we are in the Bodega Bay area. It's an old joint, Simple Italian family style. Excellent food. Service was very slow
This spot is awesome. When you walk in, you'll be in the bar area, but just go straight ahead to get to the restaurant. As you head that way, check out the ceiling on your left – they've got abalone shells integrated into the design. The vibe is chill, and the food is amazing. Our server was Michael, and he was friendly and attentive. We ordered Deep Fried Prawns, Chicken Marsala-Breast of Chicken sautéed with mushrooms in marsala wine, Lasagna (not what you're expecting-yum) and Mocha Cheesecake (delicious and different). Can't wait to bring family here.
My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Dinuccis in Bodega. We ordered the chicken marsala and the ribeye steak, both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly for us. We also love that the wine corkage is half off on Mondays, which is a nice little bonus. What really makes this place special is that all steak, poultry, and seafood entrées come with a five-course meal! Along with a side of your choice! Included with our entrees were Antipasta, sourdough bread, minestrone soup, salad, and the beef & spinach ravioli with bolognese sauce. We both chose the sautéed vegetables as our sides because getting a baked potato on top of everything else included seemed like sooo much food Special shoutout to our server Kelly, she was amazing!! Super fun, friendly, attentive, and she just made the whole experience that much better for us. The food, the portions, and the service were all spot on. If you're in Bodega and looking for a classic, comforting meal, with friendly staff and service, Dinuccis is definitely worth checking out.
Stopped in on the way home after a day trip out of the city, had a great experience. Food and atmosphere was a home run. Shout out to the bartender Adrienne who totally made our stop worth it, she was amazing! Such a fun date night with the wife. Will be back.
Had a long day at work and stopped by Dinucci’s, and Adrienne completely turned my night around. She is an amazing bartender with the most positive, welcoming attitude. The food and drinks were excellent, and her energy and attentiveness made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for great service, great food, and a place to unwind after a long day, Adrienne at Dinucci’s is the best. Highly recommend!
Went here for my girlfriend and I’s first anniversary after a nice day in Bodega Bay. The bartender Adrienne was super welcoming and had a great attitude. She made some really good drinks and we had a nice conversation which nicely furthered our good time. Would highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere 10/10
Had the best time here after a long day in need of some fun, food, and drinks. Food was great, quick was service, and we the sweetest server Adrienne who made our experience 10/10. Will definitely be back again soon!
When you order you get your dinner but first you get warm bread and a big bowl on Minestrone soup to share (yum!) Then you get an individual salad with a plate of beans, celery, cauliflower and salami to share. Then they bring raviolis ( 2 each) to share. Then dinner comes. Dinner is generous! Glasses were kept full. Glad we went early before they got really busy. Noise level is very loud. Only complaint: there are no handicap bathrooms.
Best meal I ever had, I took my family there and we were treated like royalty. The most delicious food you'll ever eat, it's like it's home cooked by a professional chef. Salads crisp and fresh, entrees hot and tasty, drinks generous. Can't wait until I return.
Got dinner here on the way home, so good tasty good ol fashioned Italian Food for comfort. Service was great no waiting on a Sunday at 4pm. Clean fast welcoming environment. Come spoil your self with some real good Italian Food....I got the Chicken Marsala with soup and baked potatoe also bread, when I got home I noticed no butter for the bread and sour cream chives for baked potatoe. Would have been good.
Considering its location, there are not a lot of other options close by. We chose to dine here since our family is vacationing 9 miles away. You will have to get there early or make a reservation because at the dinner rush, this place is packed. We arrived without a reservation and had a 30 minute wait. Luck was on our side as a few patrons left the counter in the packed bar so we were able to have a seat and a quick cocktail. We chose to order the family style dinners. Again, luck was on our side as we secured the last serving of prime rib. All of our orders looked and tasted fabulous. All 6 of us left satisfied and full. Surprisingly, the meal and drinks were very affordable for the quality and quality we were served. My wife and I had to double check the bill as we assumed the total was much higher, but everything was correct. Amazed at the absolute deal of a meal, we had to leave a larger tip for the amazing service. We do not get to travel to this area much. So if we return, I would recommend and dine here again.
My Wife and I have recently been making the trek out to Bodega Bay for a quick getaway. We have driven by Dinucci's meaning to give them a try, saying I bet that place has very good food. Well today was the day, and we were impressed! The minute we walked in we were greeted by the bartender and what appeared to be a few regulars at the bar. We were promptly seated in the dining room. Nothing fancy but a nice comfortable atmosphere. Our server Alfredo (I believe that was his name) was very friendly when we asked about items on the menu. Now to the star of the show, the food! The minestrone and sourdough bread that comes with your entree is very tasty. The bread had so much flavor and was nice and fluffy, not too doughy. The minestrone had bits of meat, pasta, vegetables and the broth was full of flavor. I would have licked my bowl if I wasn't in a restaurant😆. Next came our appetizer, the burrata!!! (It came after the soup but that's ok). It came with four pieces of sourdough bread with garlic butter melted on it, arugula, peaches, prosciutto, and the burrata that was drizzled with a honey and balsamic glaze. It was a flavor explosion, so good!!! This was a solid 9, it would be a 10 if the bread was toasted a little bit more but nonetheless, it was amazing. Next was the entrees. My Wife and I both went with the spaghetti and Bolognese sauce. We also added meatballs to each entree. The sauce was nice and thick, not watery at all. The seasoning in the sauce was balanced well, a touch of sweetness but not overwhelming. Again, I would have licked the sauce off my plate but luckily there's bread to pick up the extra sauce. It was too good to waste. Lastly, we couldn't pass up on the spumoni ice cream. Nice and creamy and not overly sweet. It was a nice ending to a good dining experience. I wished I lived closer because I would be there weekly. Everytime I head up to Bodega Bay, I will definitely be stopping at Dinucci's.
My grandparents used to visit this place every time they came to their cabin at Dillon’s Beach. I never went with them and it wasn’t until they passed and I was an adult and after years of driving by we decided to stop. So glad we did! It was yummy! Staff and food were both great. Plate presentation was amazing. Will be back!!
WOW! What a great find. The selections include delicious traditional Italian food and other tasty choices. We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the BLT and the club sandwiches with french fries. We felt right at home with the red checkered tablecloths and big bowls of minestrone soup. There is a good choice in local wines and a full bar. We were impressed with the affordable prices and there's lots of free parking.
I would give it a five stars for my meal and many others. Calamari steak was very tasty. Everyone remarked what a great time we had and great food. The only minor misses were fried. Chicken was overcooked and chicken marsala was a bit too wine forward, but that is debatable on personal choice there. My brother-in-law had the prime rib and it looked absolutely fabulous and I will be going back for that one soon! This was my first time here with a big crowd, 30 plus people. They accommodated us amazingly. Fabulous staff and great service. We have been going to Occidental for years, but will be back in 2026!
A quaint country feel to this homey restaurant. Situated between Petaluma and Bodega Bay in a very small town, it has a true local flavor. Food good with many choices. Lots of food! Prices are steep but generally you can go home with enough for a lunch the next day! I loved the aging atmosphere in a very old building. Classic country. Located in the tiny village of Valley Ford, it's a delight just being in the area. I live 6 miles south on Valley Ford Road and enjoy zipping up there to grab a bite. Seafood in an authentic country setting is delightful!
A place You feel comfortable at right away, from the country parking lot on through the ancient doors, and into a modest, well thought out and very open floor plan. Had soup with wonderful bread. minestrone was absolutely delicious. Great Experience well worth the extra few miles up the road.
Visit for the great taste of food. They give plenty by starting off each course with family style minestrone soup and a veggies plate. The lasagna sauce was slightly meaty and had a sweat taste. It went together so well. I'm not sure how long the restaurant has been there, but it has to have been their for decades. The layout is a little odd, but that is due to how old it is. Its nostalgic entrance is through the bar into the restaurant. You'll find each wall table is named, and the walls have cabinets that display vintage liqour bottles. It's pretty cool. If in the area, you should definitely swing by.
Came in for a birthday drink. A new bartender was being trained and made it by the book (Cadillac Margarita ) . Thatwas that .. we were ignored while the “locals” were served double shots and conversation , we definitely felt un welcomed ! Then came the bill .. $ 18 for a margarita ! In a small run down restaurant !
This review is for the Thanksgiving holiday menu Started off decent, soup was good as always, salads came out, 4 Waldorf salads, server didn't ask which salads we wanted do that was interesting. Salad was actually good but 2 people couldnt eat it for other reasons Raviolis were good Dropped the ball on the entrees though...mashed potatoes were the best thing, stuffing was buried under the dark meat which looked more like pulled turkey, looked more like a plate of mush. 2 smallish pieces of white meat on mine and wife's plate. Just not as good as we expected. We have been her before for Thanksgiving and it was definitely better. Place was really busy so maybe that had something to do with it We will still go to Dinuccis, just not for holiday meals Oh well.....live an learn
Good service, but food was quantity over quality
