I've been eating at Whataburger for over 40 years. I wish I could they have always been great, but that isn't the case. My local store has never been all that great. But the other day, I ate the one in Bulverde. Wow! That is the best Whataburger and fries I've ever had!! A bun warmed just right and not dry. Lettuce that was fresh and GREEN and plenty of it. Red tomatoes. The fries were hot,fresh, and salted to perfection. I was there during the peak lunch time, but the manager still made time to walk through the restaurant to be sure everyone was satisfied or if they needed anything. Well done, Bulverde!

The burgers and chicken sandwiches are good but very messy to eat. There seems to be too much sauce on them for me to be able to eat them cleanly. Shakes are great. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, too. Service is always spot on and very friendly.

This local eatery always draws a cross section of the community. Youngsters,oldsters and those 'tweeners. The food is good, and service at this restaurant is excellent. I recommend you stop by and enjoy a Texas Tradition that started in Corpus Christi.

Wow what a wonderful experience. We usually don’t go in to eat but decided to on this trip. Joe greeted us right when we came in. Very pleasant and was obviously being the best at whatever his job is! So hard to find pleasant people in nice restaurants much less fast food! Joe spent his time with orders, cleaning and helping customers. Go in and say hi to Joe! What a great man!!

I had the Whatacatch fish sandwich. It's huge and great tasting. The tartar sauce is great. The only downside to the sandwich is they sell it during the Lenten season and usually take it off the menu after Easter. They should make this a permanent menu item. It's that good.

Manager is amazing and personable, and all the staff seem to not only get along, but enjoy themselves. Food is extremely fresh and hot. I had a bit of an issue with payment, and rather than become impatient with me they showed me how to use my coupon to get what I wanted instead!

Never had a problem here. After leaving the Taco Bell nearby in frustration we went here. They were very busy but we got through easily. The workers were polite and the food was accurate and delicious. Management knows what they're doing unlike Taco Bell.

We went late one night and had a couple mistakes on our order. My husband called and Tabitha answered. She was so kind and apologetic. She immediately offered us replacement meals and had us take down her name. A couple nights later we went back - Tabitha greeted us so sweetly, immediately took care of us, and went above and beyond. It truly makes all the difference having management like that on a team. Give that girl a raise! After we got home, I opened the bag and found a whole bunch of sweets. Truly awesome.

Hands down the best hamburgers to eat. We eat burgers and fries regularly. Plus they have great special shakes like Dr. Pepper and Chocolate Coffee, along with the regular ,Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. Plus special burgers...my favorite is Sweet and Spicy!!! I always love to go to Whataburger but this experience was something else. Our curbside pickup was crazy. Our server came back 5 times bringing 1 item at a time, no drink carrier for 4 drinks. Get home had NO fries in our order had to drive back and spoke to a Manager and when I told her we hadn't gotten the fries with any of our orders her answer to me was "Oh, would you like some fries". Of course I wanted fries, we ordered the combos. She comes back and says 1 threw in some cookies for your troubles. 4 meals were purchased, put in 2 cookies. Lol

I'm giving five stars even though they were prioritizing drive-through customers, and those of us inside the restaurant had to wait even to be acknowledged. Despite a wait, the employees were genuinely nice and gave great service when it finally came. The food was hot and fresh. This is a good location, but they shouldn't ignore customers that walk through the door since it does not leave a good impression. Definitely will return though since they made up for it.

After a mistake on an Uber order, the management was more than accommodating. They replaced the entire order, which was not necessary. They definitely restored my faith in customer service!!

Went here for the night shift for months on end . Would show up at around 3 am or so usually , always fast and courteous services, and had everything ready even at that time, no shortages. The food was always served pretty fast considering the order size and it's the graveyard shift. Always super fresh, and hot food. Not just warm, hot! Very nice staff. Would recommend to anybody to stop here for a snack .

I went inside of this establishment on Sunday and ordered a patty melt to go. The wait was very short although it seemed they were very busy, the employee that brought out my food; I believe her name was Victoria? She was so sweet and made sure everything was in my bag before I had left. The customer service at this Whataburger is probably one of the best I've received. Amazing customer service and I will be eating here again.

Went here on Thanksgiving day. The individual taking the orders was outgoing and friendly, he had clear communication and took the order seamlessly. The food came out for our family of 6 quickly and was all very fresh, we even got a bag! We were eating in the parking lot and noticed we didn’t get ketchup they quickly stepped into action and even went a step further to correct it for upcoming customers. We had to take a potty break and everything inside was clean as well. Happy holidays! Thank you for working and making it a great dinner.

Got in line ordered my BOB and the gentleman said to pull to 2nd window. I get to the window only to realize my wallet has a different plan for today. My hero for today came to my rescue, this young man told me not to worrie about it! WHAT! Nobody does that. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Well new plan, go home find wallet, return to WAB talk to Mgr and pay for my meal, give a raving review for this hero without a cape. Then give the Mgr $20.00 to assist the next dummies that leaves the house without a wallet.

Not very cheery as usual. The order was correct though. Food was good, but would like to be hotter. They really need to get a shake machine that isn't breaking down constantly. Was very busy tonight, order took a long long time. Service was good. Food was good and hot.

Whataburger is never the fastest place, especially when you go inside. Today was even slower than usual. The food was great, and the staff was apologetic, though.

Just flew in from out of the country had to have a taquito. It looked like it was closed at 8: 30am but went to the drive through and service was great The only problem was the tortillas were not soft. There was way more egg than normal which was great. Kinda bummed overall.

Good overall and always nice people. Just wish they'd stop using a shovel to dump salt on the fries. The traditional shaker for just a few seconds would suffice and I could actually taste the fries again.

The kids work so hard, but there's always a long line. I went back today and the girl was so kind.

Usually a good experience, however this time was a little disappointing. I have a pet peeve of not receiving napkins in the bag. Drives me crazy. It should be the one thing a fast food place doesn't forget... the other is a straw. They were busy, however we were in the drive thru so we are a captive audience, we aren't going anywhere without our order. So take your time and do it to the best of your ability. We asked for room in the coffee cups for cream. We had to ask for cream after we received our order. And you guessed it...coffee filled to the top. (Which is great if you like it black.) We will be back, because we enjoy their food. Just very disappointed in this experience.

Check the bag! Needed some quick food to get us through some sports practices. Every employee we dealt with was super helpful and pleasant. Service was quick and the food was great. Had to deduct some stars because they neglected to give us all five fry orders. We had to go back, which was frustrating, but they made good on it with no issues. We’ll probably eat here again but make sure to check the bag before you leave!

The window got busy and it had been a good 30 min. And I had to go ask about one of our orders. They went and checked on it. It came out quickly. The staff was very pleasant and ready to help. May be a new group. I would go back again.

Second time trying Whataburger. Want to love it, heard many great things about it, but both times now I’ve felt disappointed. This time in particular; wait time to get food in drive thru was very long and I’m not overly impressed with the taste of the food. Fries are mediocre IMO and the burger was par the course for fast food burgers.

The food is great, but the service is not the best!! They’re a little slow and don’t really have a life to them. You never know what you are going to get based on cleanliness.

So slow the day I was there. It was around 6pm. I went through the drive through and was behind 3 cars. It took 20 minutes to get my food. Not sure why it was like that. My food was cold when I got it, so it wasn't the kitchen that was slow.

Eh. I really don't understand what is so special about this place. There was barely anyone there, it took forever to get our food, it was brought to the table and we were missing a sandwich. The burgers are basically as good as a frozen burger, the sauce isn't all that special, and my toddler wouldn't even eat the fries. I definitely was not impressed with my first whataburger.

Using the Whataburger app, fir the location in Spring Branch, is useless. I have an hour drive to work, place my mobile order a good 20 minutes ahead, usually around 550am, not even busy yet, but it is never ready and I mean not even started...Why have an Order Ahead option? I spoke to a manager type person last week, she apologized and said she would meet with the team...I gave them another shot this morning, unfortunately they failed again. All I want is my Iced Coffee 😞

Restaurant was nearly empty, not many staff working and the place was pitiful. Couldn’t find a clean table, fries and food stuff all under the tables- why?? Just clean the darn tables and sweep! They must have been busy at some point but we went in around 4:30 and as I said it was nearly empty🤷‍♀️. The fries WERE nice and hot/crisp but that’s where my complements stops. Ketchup on a burger when no ketchup was requested; too much sauce on a sweet and spicy bacon burger, my three chicken strips were one normal size, one smaller and one was the size of a chicken nugget. I didn’t go and complain, I would have been there until midnight🤣. Come on Whataburger in Bulverde- clean up your act - literally!

Ordered chicken strips and when we got home with them, there were only 2 strips, not 3 in the bag. Seriously? For what y'all charge for them, you could at least make sure you include what we paid for. It would take more in gas to go back than it is worth but let this be a heads up to everyone to check their order before leaving the drive through window.

The cashier provided us with excellent service but the Manager Shane very rude. Did even realize that the cashier was taking care off us and it the manager was yelling and reprehending our cashier at front of everyone that was a very bad experience managers like this can’t work on this area. You as manager are to call your employee to the office and talke after the store rush pass. This manager even told the cashier that he is going to write him off. Very rude. It was very bad for the kid and for us as customers Do not let that managers like this damage whataburger reputation

Consistently mediocre. I try to avoid going here, as it's usually a disappointment. The tea which is usually know for being great, is normally off, either it's watered down or taste like they don't clean between batches. My orders are often not correct and end up with things like the wrong kind of shake or not all our food. I'm hoping for change as proximity is the only reason that I end up here. This Whataburger is the slowest one I have ever been to. Orders take SOOO long to come. Doesn't matter if it's busy, not as busy. Also, flies were everywhere in the dining room. I would be quite embarrassed if I was part of the management of this location. Tables dirty, employees unaware of orders and always look like deer in headlights because others are also upset/disappointed when they are confronted. Yikes.

Management at the spring branch location is the worst I’ve ever seen at a whataburger. It is absolute mess at this location. Extremely long wait times (consistently), consistently wrong orders, from a customers perception- absolute chaos, had to literally call the store on my cell to get someone to take my order at the drive thru this time. Normally at any other location I have no problems. This one. Nope …..I won’t be back. It used to be excellent service. Now, within the last few months, I’d be better off setting up a grill in the parking lot and cooking my own food.

Well. I usually I love WB But the advertised White Chocolate Raspberry shake was out. They said it was out at all locations so I’m not blaming them…but I was really looking forward to it and when I saw the sign it looked readily available. Usually it wouldn’t have bothered me that much but I had just been babysitting until 1 am, on my period, and that is what I wanted. I cried and got a sprite instead. Boohoo

We did a curbside order on a Saturday at lunch. The order was promised at 12:12, at 12:35 still did not have order with no recourse. Not sure what the problem was inside the restaurant but it was clear that the order the orders are placed in was not the order they are fulfilled. I would not recommend this location. Despite the steady flow of people, they can’t handle the traffic.

Ordered PICK UP thru Uber eats and arrived. First, the KID at the window had no manners. Said they couldn't find my order the moment he said "pull up please" to wait for order. Well, another fail on the order fulfillment and my failure to check. There were no fries in the chicken tender combo. Virtually all of the time there is something wrong when you order here. Even on the simplest of orders, so usually I check. Today it was a simple tender combo, and i was in a hurry. Always check here. Always. Previous review. There must be a global gravy shortage. The last couple of times I ordered gravy it was so watered down it was unenjoyable. For the past couple of months this Whataburger has had problems. The previous time we ordered curbside here, they left out a kids meal. I should have checked better, but it was a large order and the number of drinks was right so I just gave it a cursory check. Today I had a relatively simple curbside order. A chicken strip combo and a Whataburger combo light mustard plus an extra gravy. When the kid, and I mean kid, brought the order out I looked in the bag and there was no gravy. I sent him back in for the gravy. Then I realized it was missing the fries. When he came out I sent him back. At this point I figured I was set. When I got home I opened the chicken strips and there were no fries. Boy was I in trouble since I had eaten most of the fries in the bag on the way home... This is the first time I have ever received a chicken strips box without fries. Anyway, I started eating the strips. They were cold. Cooked, but cold like they had been sitting out for a long time. I mean cold. Same with the gravy in the box. Cold. Also, instead of light mustard on my wife's burger it was like they put on extra mustard. Bad. I don't know, maybe they're hiring the stupidest high school kids available for the summer, but they need to fix it. At least the kid got to wish me a blessed day 3 times.

I don’t know what the issue is here. They cannot ever get my order correct. I order it correctly and EVERYTIME the order is wrong. After I take the receipt in with the correct order details they then bring out the order AGAIN incorrectly more than once. This has happened multiple times in one week. Manager was super apologetic but it’s still ridiculous.

Worst customer service ever! Ordered two coffees, cinnamon roll and a pie. Lid came off when they handed me the coffee and burnt my hand when they handed me the coffee at the drive through. Cinnamon roll was put in bag upside down and pie had obviously been on shelf for while by the looks of the grease on the package. Management either doesn’t care or is not paying attention!

Waited 20 minutes in the drive through line before I had to give up and leave because I was going to be late for an appointment. I was the second of 3 cars at 6:30. I know it’s a new store but they are going to have to figure something out to stay open.

Drive thru for lunch is bad. Burger and chili fries were thrown in the bag and everything was cold!

Fast food places have really gone downhill around here lately! Just got home with five whataburger meals and there wasn't one vegetable on any of them and the meat was nasty and dry like it had been sitting there all day! What a waste of $60! Pathetic! Literally tastes like a McDonald's burger that's been sitting under the lamp all day🙄

Went in sunday morning at 830, worker had flooded the entrance with water to clean floors. Was frustrated with customers coming in. Why mop the entrance during busy breakfast time. Then coffee was freshly brought out and luke warm. They tried to make another pot and lukewarm. Manager gave excuses. Then got pancakes and didnt get syrup with them so had to wait . This location just keeps getting worse.

My burger was so mushy I couldn’t eat it and my husbands was so dry and only one piece of bacon that I paid $2 plus for what the heck really no fries soggy onion rings come on I just wasted $48 on bull crap and drove 25 min plus to get here then order all wrong and nasty !!

Order food online, gave them 15 minitues to make my food and still ended up waiting an extra 15 minitues. When they brough my drinks they never tied the bag with the cupholder in it and didnt secure the lids on any of the drinks. I was in a hurry which ia why I was online and now im having to clean my car instead of eating.

Every time I come here Im reminded why I shouldnt go back. Dude serving me was nice but waiting behind 1 car for 10 minutes and another 7 at the window for a large fry is WILD. Wasnt even completely full. Waited almost 20 minutes for fries that were not full, honestly you should have had half the bag full for that nonsense. This location needs to get its shit together.

Terrible! I brought my 6 yo daughter through the drive through to get some dinner after soccer practice, ordered a junior Whataburger with everything on it, got all the way home to find NO MEAT, NO BURGER on her cold bun with cold cheese and veggies. How can you miss adding the burger at a place that mainly sells burgers? Unbelievable.
