Planned to get Chipotle but it was jam-packed. As I was leaving I noticed this place and decided to stop by. It was surprisingly good! Had the McAlister sandwich with the tortilla soup and it was superb! Staff was quick, courteous and the food didn't take long at all. All in all a great place to try out if you're in the area.
Honest Review: This is unusual for me to rate this high when something like this happens to me. Walked in and the attitude the staff came off as if they didn't want to be there today. I wasn't told id pay extra for a soup when i asked if I could do that instead of the salad they said came with it. Got my order togo and was literally on phone complaining about the experience but then I took a bite of my King Club. My mouth watered and my belly trembled with excitement and I almost broke into tears as how shocked I became at how DELICIOUS my sandwich was . Fyi add the cranberry orange sauce instead of honey mustard. Your chef today deserves all the credit and if I could tip them directly I would. Ill definitely be back but a high, hello, enjoy, my pleasure, would be highly appreciated. Do with this review as you will my fellow foodies.
This is my 2nd time at this McAlister's and it has been amazing each time! The service is quick and accurate, my order is always right and the staff is so friendly! The staff, including the managers, always come by to check on me and make sure everything is great! They even bring you refills! I will definitely be back!
First time eating at a TX location. Went for lunch after church so it was easy & quick to order as there was no wait. Had the Chicken tortilla soup, not what I expected for tortilla soup but it was OK. Will have to try something else next visit.
I did a door dash order and decided to try their peach cobbler cheesecake with my coworker. Two sandwiches and two cheesecakes. When the order arrived, there were no cheesecakes. I called the store and they told me i had to take it up with door dash!…??? Not sure what door dash had to do with them not getting my order right. So then the guy asks me if i wanted to come pick the cheesecake up. If i wanted to do that, i wouldn’t have door dashed in the first place 🙄 we really wanted to try the cheesecake so we decided we would go up to the store. Thankfully we called before going because they then told us that they only had one left and that we could get something else instead! 🤬 WE DIDN’T WANT ANYTHING ELSE! At that point, i just wanted my money back and of course I have to wait 2-3 business days since i paid online. A very frustrating experience with them.
I definitely won't be going back. I ordered the "choose 2" and pretzel dog kids meal. The Choose 2 was mid, certainly not as good as Jason's Deli. My half sandwich, club sandwich in a croissant was fine, nothing special. The cup of Country Potato soup was a disappointment. The soup base lacked flavor. It was topped with bacon and cheese, but that was the best part and that's a shame. I only had a "cup" portion and i didn't finish that. Unfortunately, the choose 2 dosen't come with a side or drink which seems to be more common in today's world of eating out. The kid's meal was also a tragedy. The technique for cooking/reheating the pretzel dogs does not fully reheat the food. I'm sure many children wouldn't know or care, but it's also a health and safety issue because the middle of the weiners are cold. I send it back, and the cashier had the audacity to ask if i " want them reheated or would i like new ones." I was perplexed because why wouldn't the kitchen just make new ones, especially when they weren't even busy. The second set was also cold in the middle, so i got a refund for the kids meal and in good faith the Cook did make me a kid's pizza to help rectify the situation, but I definitely won't be returning. And the craziest part is the kid's meal doesn't come with a drink either. That's bizarre to me. I'll stick to Jason's Deli where the food is good and to my knowledge, appropriately heated through.
Would never eat at this business again. Specially this location Angel was kind in character but he got husband order wrong we gave him benefit of the doubt and said my husband “said the wrong name” he really didn’t . He seemed to not want to give good customer service and make my husband the correct order it ruined our date night . We give it a 2/10
I ordered online and picked up 3 minutes after it was declared ready. I expect a lot from McAllisters but my grilled chicken croissant came entirely soggy and tasted like something premade from the gas station. The cashier had a baby in her hand which was fine but with that level of unprofessional environment I expect a good attitude but I asked for my pickup order and she almost threw it at me, with no regard that I paid for this food. I wasn’t rude just neutral. The level of profession people have in food service is low, I know you hate working, we all do but have some decency when not everybody has the privelge to work. Thanks
"Sorry, we're out of turkey." "We don't have any more beef today." "We can't do any sandwiches with chicken in them." "Our drink machine is broken right now." These are just a few of the things you'll be hearing if you try to eat here. I've been eating here regularly since they first opened, and I'm done after today. The last 3 attempts in a row to eat here have resulted in me walking out with nothing after hearing they can't make half of their menu. Figure out how to sell sandwiches, it's your only job.
I had a bad experience at McAlister’s Deli. My veggie spud came with missing ingredients — no onions, bell peppers, or the main sauce. I waited almost an hour for my order because it was busy, which I understand, but getting an incomplete order doesn’t make sense. This was my first and probably my last visit. They should’ve informed me if they were out of certain ingredients.
My boyfriend is trying to pick up an order that was order over an 1 hour ago, still have not received anything but a soup. Tried calling, was hung up on every single time. Apparently this is due to some promotion they’re running, overload on orders, but at some point you stop accepting orders until you can catch up with ones that have been waiting.
Great business they have where they advertise new dishes that mysteriously never seem to be in stock. Even when you go through the app that makes you select a location because the menu is custom to each location.
We walked into the restaurant 1. The person at the counter didn’t even have to decency to speak to us 2. She didn’t even know what was on the menu, we had to point it out to her multiple times, even though this is literally their menu 3. When we tried to find somewhere to sit, every single table and chair were filthy. There were multiple workers and the place was empty, yet every table was dirty and we had to call them to clean it before we could even sit down. 4. After receiving our food which looked unappetizing at best, I took a bite into my wrap ONLY TO FIND A LADY BUG in my wrap 5. We took the food back up to the front, the person took it to the back and came back to the front to tell us they were remaking it. We obviously refused to eat anything at this location and requested a refund to go elsewhere. She showed the manager the plate, who scoffed and acted like it was not a serious issue, the manager then came up to the front apologized, and told us the refund will reflect in 3-5 business days. I have never had such a nauseating experience, I completely lost my appetite and felt sick. The whole establishment is disgraceful and the level of uncleanliness is something I have never witnessed before. Needless to say we will not be returning back to this location.
-1 wasn't a choice. This was my first time trying this establishment and my last. I originally wanted the club on 🥬 instead of 🍞 but they don't carry leaf lettuce, only chopped. I went with gluten free without the middle 🍞 and this is what I paid $13 for 🫤 The ladies at the counter were extremely nice and pleasant. The kitchen is trash and I will just stick to Jason's Deli. I didn't call, go back, or ask for a refund. I am taking the L. Fake advertising pictures people. This is what you will end up with 😕
