Recently was delighted to have pizza at my favorite spot again. Get very comfortable as usual and food wa relish. Can’t wait to visit next time I’m on the island.

Outstanding pizza. Try the specialty slices. Calimari or calimari era Diablo, chicken francize are tops. They have a group of $6 lunch specials that are first rate and excellent values.

Something came up and I didn't pick my order up until 3 or 4 later. Not only was my order still there but the owner made me a new pie. One of the guys asked if I wanted him to throw everything back in the oven.The owner saw the pizza when it came out and asked if I had ten minutes that he was going to make a new pie. He said you can't eat this, it's hard. I told him not to, it's my fault he shouldn't have to do that. He insisted and ten minutes later I had a new order. Thank you so much, it was greatly appreciated. This shows the owner cares about his customers more than money. Most people would've just handed you your food as is.

A great friendly staff. Absolutely love the chicken broccoli slice. It is the BEST! Miss stopping by several times a week after work. Have got to make the drive from LI to SI soon. Finally made the drive from Long Island to Staten Island for really GREAT pizza. LaPiazza does not disappoint. Had the chicken broccoli slice. It was really very good! This is my favorite pizza shop to stop for lunch when I'm in the area. Whole wheat vegetable pie, chicken broccoli slice, pinwheels loaded with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, and cheese. Basically everything is good. Everyone I walk in I can never decide. They have an array of food out to choose. Eyes are bigger than my stomach sometimes.

Only 3 stars for service. Was informed there was was a problem getting orders back to kitchen(printer) My 20 minute wait turned into an hour. Staff was very apologetic and gave Xtra food while I waited. We order here all the time. Never a problem. Just wanted to xplain why only 3 stars for service. Otherwise 5 stars all around.

Really like the pizza and the deals they have are unbelievable. I get 1 large pie, 8 buffalo wings, 8 mozzarella sticks, 10 garlic knots and on top of that a soda all for 27 dollars! Bottom line - alot of good food for a relatively cheap price.

Myron Mekhail. I want to comment on this review. I've been giing to this pizzeria for years and I don't think the person who left this comment understands the pizza business. Canned mushrooms are almost exclusively used at all pizzerias when used as a topping for a pizza. If you want fresh you get those in salad or REQUEST fresh on the pizza. As far as the onions. Onions are also placed on pizza during cooking process and cook WITH the pizza. If you want them cooked more they need to be asked to be sauteed first. The pizza here is great and so is the other food. Please look at other reviews for this place and don't let one person sway you.

Great pizza and great service every time. It is our go to on Staten Island. I gave it five stars for everything. Atmosphere is typical pizza place, not a fancy white glove restaurant but it’s clean and if you’re looking for a good old-fashioned pizza place, this is it. They even know how to make a gluten-free pie taste good. I already loved the regular pizza before I went gluten-free. I’m glad there is still an option for me and there is great food for my whole family.

I take out but drive in from Marlboro NJ to this quintessential 5 borough pizza place! The chicken fra'diavlo pizza is the best incarnation of specialty pizza I've ever had. They also make the most delicious eggplant rolls and homemade from scratch chunky vodka sauce that I pick up in pints every visit!

Good balance of cheese to sauce. Decent flavor. A little too much oregano. Medium thin crust with a little chew, edges are crispy. Good flavor. Size is okay for $3 a slice, but would prefer a little less crust and a little more topping. Slice overall, is a bit dry because of the excess crust. Give it a rating of 92.

Went for lunch. Very affordable, very thin pizza. Crust wasn't soggy but wasn't crispy either. If I had not ordered pick up I suspect the crust would have been 5X better. So either order online and have reasonable expectations or order in person for what I suspect is a much better experience.

Love their chicken francese pizza! Large variety of pies available by the slice. Also have lunch specials for $9.50. We ordered the eggplant Parmigiano & fettuccine alfredo. It comes with bread and butter on the side. Both were good. Booth seating area inside is comfortable.

Okay what can I say this is a local pizzeria in our neighborhood. The pizza is always fresh. We have been going here for over 20 years.

La is a great pizza place. The people behind the counter were very attentive and helpful. My family and I ordered a plain pie, a buffalo chicken pie,a white slice and a chicken and broccoli Alfredo slice. They all were delicious. The front of the place is inviting as well. They also have seating area to dine in. It’s a great place to go for lunch or a quick dinner during the week.

been eating LaPiazza's menu for over 20 years BUT for the 2nd time in a row the delivery of a pie was over 1/2 hour Late ..the order was to be 45-60 minutes took 90...when I called to see if the order went out I was told it left awhile ago..I am 5minutes drive from store..pie showed up , sure enough ICE COLD..tried to call the store put on hold, girl who took my order picks up and say hold on, click and dial tone... guess you didnt want to make the problem better so ,I suppose you would rather I order elsewhere..sad during a time when local restaurants can not have indoor dining and delivery gets worse

The last time I ordered pizza here it was terrible and the kids working the register were high. Shame, it used to be really good.

Don't bother ordering online and expect it to be ready when you get there to pick it up. Not the first time this has happened. They shouldn't offer this service if they're not going to follow through. Also I'm pretty sure their rating used to be A , now it's a B .

Customer service need to be better. No one wants to feel uncomfortable or unwanted in a restaurant where you are spending money and bringing service. Other than that the food is wonderful.

We ordered an eggplant roll and a spinach roll. Both totally dried out. The consistency of the spinach roll is best described as hay!

I ordered food and a drink, They did not have the drink i ordered so THEY decided on another drink to give me without calling and asking what i would like instead. They deliver the wrong drink & when i call them and say it was the wrong drink, they waited 3 hours to bring me the correct drink.

i ordered some Caesars salad along with some other food to be delivered to my customer house ,no fork and no napkins ,it was a new house so nothing was there I had to improvise and make a wooden fork out of a paint stick I called them up and they told me they are not supposed to provide forks and napkins for delivers ,really? food wasn't that great either !

They get 2 stars because they do not know how to accommodate a large party of people,they couldn't even give any bread or turn on air conditioning,then when I asked if they could make linguini and clam sauce and they acted like it was a big project so I just got something else.what the hell kind of italian place doesn't know how to make linguini and clams? The food was decent that we had though for the most part.my wife liked a dish she had so she goes in here and there for it to pick it up and she always has to wait for it because it's not ready, even when she comes after the time they said it would be.

Hangs up on u an makes you feel like your bothering him. If it wasn't for my dad only able to eat lite cheese and them making it right I'd stop going just off how rude the kid is. 😐

USE to be my go to place..New owners...noticed soon as I got my delivery. The portions are half of what they were. Also, something tastes different in the all around quality. I dont know if they changed kitchen cook too however I will not be placing anymore orders...I do wish the New owner the best this is just my personal experience. Sat 1/11/25 went in around 6pm and ordered 1 grandma slice, 1 Sicilian slice, 1 chicken roll, 1 spinach roll and a Snapple. The rolls were very dry and almost impossible to appreciate, Sicilian slice was on the sweet side for a pizza sauce and the grandma slice had fresh mozzarella hat was reheated to many times. A little note: I have been going to this pizzeria since their opening and have never going any bad food prior.

This is the nastiest pizza I've ever eaten in my life. I'd rather eat the human body part which dispels our bodily waste. Overpriced, nasty front counter girls truly make this pizzeria rubbish.

Haven’t been here in years after seeing roaches in the bathroom . Went in to get a roll out of desperation and hunger , it roll was mush, fell apart into a pile of what looked like vomit when I picked it up. The chicken looked like It was a week old .

Pizza absolutely sucks. Came here for this first time and will never go back. Burned on the bottom and had only the flavor of burnt crust. If I was blindfolded I'd swear you've given me burnt toast.

Bought 2 slices, I'm glad I opened the box to check. I seen that one of the slices was broken in pieces, so I asked for a exchange and when I got my new slice it was super small $1 slice you could say.. I looked at the cashier and she acted like it was okay.. never going back to this place! Give me what I pay for losers!

I’m a frequent customer at La Piazza however; about a half hour ago, a south Asian, or Pakistani man, who is a delivery driver for La Piazza, delivered my pizza via Grubhub app And demanded I pay him a tip by writing on my receipt “tip cash”. As he was doing this, he was standing halfway into my home, holding my storm door open and stood there until I gave him money. I’m certain he took advantage because I’m a woman and I was alone. By law, you are not required, nor is it mandatory that you tip. Because I’m a frequent customer to GrubHub, I usually don’t tip because I am wasting a lot of money anyway on food delivery, plus I’m well aware these drivers get paid enough that they shouldn’t have to be demanding a tip, and especially to the extreme that a delivery driver won’t get out of my house and close my storm door, until I give him money! I’m waiting for my landlord to give me a surveillance footage clip as proof, and I will be uploading it.

bro i had work all day & wanted to have a decent buffalo slice close by.. usually its ok, but this time they put blue cheese instead of ranch on the slice & it looked like half the bottle was plopped on top.. i was starving and couldn’t even eat half the slice thats how disgusted i am & starving. my boyfriend is calling me a Karin if i go back or call to complain so im making this review. dont eat from there unless u wana waist ur precious money & time. ur welcome. rather have eaten mcdonalds for real. disappointed aint the word.

Stopped in for a cpl slices. A regular and a buffalo. The regular was crispy, but that's it. The cheese gave my mouth a workout, very tough. The sauce was basically tomato water. No flavor whatsoever. The buffalo was like a blue cheese slice with kibble bits of chicken added to it. They sell no deposit water bottles. Place is filthy. The tables and napkin dispensers have flour dust on them. The pizza boxes are stacked on the floor.

The Whole Wheat Vegetable Pizza is clearly advertised on their menu as having no cheese. I was so excited to be able to eat pizzeria pizza again! Nope, the sauce on this pizza contains Parmesan cheese! I hope no one has a milk allergy and oh yeah screw vegans. Thanks.

I got baked ziti to go. It was the worst baked ziti I've ever had. I could not believe they actually served this. It had no sauce and the mozzarella was dry along with the pasta. As soon as I opened it I saw that it looked laminated. I tried to salvage it by pouring some jarred sauce I had but it didn't help. The pasta was hard and the hard like maybe it was old. I paid 15 bucks and it went right in the garbage.They lost a customer.

Onions were uncooked, mushroom canned and not cooked and when addressed these issues they didn’t give a crap. Saying “ this is how we service our food”. Customers are always correct, and we were treated with carelessness.
