Treated my youngest to his first true sushi experience (wasn't cheap) with a bento box and the medium sized sushi combo. All the sushi pieces (12 pcs) had satisfyingly large cuts of salmon, various tuna, unagi, and others. The shrimp was the most amazing - a large very gently cooked shrimp that melted in my mouth, accompanied by the large tempura fried fat shrimp head - what amazing flavors! Best shrimp sushi I've ever had. We both fully enjoyed the meal and will come back!

Ordered pick up randomly and was pleasantly surprised! Service was quick and very friendly. California roll was very average but the other 5pcs were excellent! Will definitely go back! Miso soup was incredible!

My husband ordered for pick up twice already and we weren’t expecting much. However, the quality of the food is astonishing. If you are looking for a straightforward, simple japanese sushi place, this is it. Their food is not very sophisticated but it is strangely delicious.

Came in here for a date night at 8:30pm and we got the sashimi sampler, kalamari, the takoyaki and the sushi platter. The sashimi and kalamari were excellent. The takoyaki was tasty, but personally not fond of the bbq sauce that it was paired with. The sushi sampler was exquisite with so many different types of nigiri to try!

Really enjoyed eating here. The servers were very attentive and friendly, appreciated the amount of effort they put into keeping me happy! The food was EXCELLENT and well priced. I will definitely be back w friends, thank you Mochi Sushi for a great time!

Very nice place. Sushi rolls are delicious and fresh. Their bento boxes are amazing! It's best ramen place in Sugar Land and one of the best ramen place in Houston. Highly recommend this place!

I'm surprised this place isn't packed. The food was so good! We loved everything we ordered. The customer service was good also. I'm definitely coming back here! Everyone was happy with their food orders.

The waitress, the atmosphere, the food, it was all meshing well to create a friendly mellow atmosphere. The Waitress was attentive but never overbearing, the grilled squid and eel was tasty and went well with the exported beer they have. The only thing is the place is small, but I went when there was no one and it was just perfect. A good place if you are new to Japanese food. My coworker and I took a real long time to figure out what to order and the waitress was never pressuring us. She was very patient which made us real comfortable to look through the whole menu.

Food is awesome! Staff is so so.. They always have their kids running around or hanging out. It can get rather annoying when you're trying to have a quiet dinner. Other than that we've been here multiple times and can put up with certain aspects of this establishment.

This was our first time eating here. It's a nice, little spot that's close to home and has more than enough parking. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere. It wasn't busy when we visited but we didn't make it there until almost 9, they close at 9:30. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Food came out quick and the presentation was nice. It all looked fresh and was all very good and tasty. We ordered a total of 5 items and dessert, the bill was right over $50 which was more than fair if you ask me. Especially considering how good the food quality and overall experience was. We'll definitely be going back on a regular basis!

The rolls are thick and good. Nigiri 3/5 It’s decent. The one I didn’t like the most was the tuna and eel. It was as tasty as other places. Miso soup 5/5 Can you believe some places their miso just doesn’t taste right. This one is spot on.

it was ok, the fried rice were good and sushi was well prepared but the calamari was bit tough, had to fight it to chew it down. good place for quick bite. staff was good and prompt.

Food was good. Service not so much. Half sushi order was forgotten. No tableware. No napkins for hot sake bottle. Not given water. Had to wait 15 minutes for check. Entire staff took dinner break while I was there. Weird.

The flavor of the sams roll was lacking and for the $14 price tag i expected much more. Im writing this review 3 hours after eating here, and my stomach feels sick, so i might have gotten food poisoning here. There is much better sushi less than 15 minutes away from this place. Worth the time to take the extra drive.
