This place is a must stop every time we come to town. Fish is always fresh, melts in your mouth. Servers are very personable, and the prices are very reasonable. If you are not into sushi, my aunt gets the teriyaki every time, and it is wonderful (I know because she never eats it all, so I get to help..

I came here with a group of friends and we ordered all types of rolls, sashimi, and ribs. Everything was delicious and the service was prompt. I only wish they stayed open later but then again it was a Monday. The hot sake was really great too. I passed by this place several times but never really saw it. I would definitely go again to try their ramen lunch special

First time. Uber delivered. Restaurant followed my instructions. Everything was fresh and tasty. The tempura was still crispy upon arrival. Will order again. Highly recommend 👌

I've been coming here for years and I love it. I've always had amazing food here. The service is great. I've never had anything wrong with a take out order and they are fast with making it.

Extremely pleasurable experience. Staff was very welcoming. Took time to speak with my young son. Food was brought promptly. Delicious is the first word that comes to mind concerning the preparation and taste of the food.

Very affordable with an extremely friendly staff. Lots of specials for lunch and great options for dinner. The more you eat or drink, the more you save. Sushi chefs are great, sit at the bar if you get a chance!

Best Sushi in town. Everything here is always fresh. They have great hand rolls, great lunch deals and have Asahi beer to accompany your sushi crave. Give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

My girlfriend, who happens to be a vegetarian, and I agreed, the food was well put together and tasted great, the service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was unpretentious, but still nice, and the prices are reasonable, especially by Southern California standards. Definitely recommended. We will be back.

It felt like I was in a more upscale restaurant then just one and a strip mall in Sunland California. This place is nice yeah you can show up in your humblest attire and eat some of the best sushi you've ever had. Definitely worth a try. You'll likely be back again.

Sushi is fresh and the atmosphere is pleasant. TV screens and pleasant people make it comfortable. They tend to have more dishes with sauces, like the lobster popcorn roll. California rolls under deep fried lobster pieces and smothered in some sweet sauce...yummy after the main course. We also get the freshest, melt in your mouth sushi and sashimi. It is one of the few gems tucked away in our community. They do have non sushi dishes for the others.

Pretty good sushi place, with quality similar to popular big sushi chains. Nothing particularly amazing, but over all good and fresh fish. They serve nigiri sushi, rolls, bento boxes. Servers were nice but food came out a little slower than I expected. It's great to have a decent sushi place locally.

I grew up in the Sunland-Tujunga area. There was never a lot in terms of fine dining, just a lot of sub-par hole in the wall places and fast food chains. Imagine my surprise when I saw a sushi spot open up. I was even more surprised when I found out this place serves great food! So I knocked off a star for slow (yet friendly) service. But my staple roll (which I use as sort a a sushi benchmark), the BSCR, was amongst the best I've had anywhere. Scallops were cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh. Spicy Ahi Tartar was one of the greatest appetizers I've had in all my years of getting appetizers. I went to this spot 2 weeks in a row, sampled all sorts of items and liked every single one. Just surprisingly good sushi.

Highly recommend the spicy tuna salad, it's surprisingly filling and quite frankly the best spicy tuna in the sfv. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the bathrooms are in need of a major overhaul.

It's okay. Probably the best sushi that can be expected in Sunland. Inside is plain and non-descript. Wait staff is friendly. Never had to wait for a table during lunch. Expect to be hasseled by panhandlers on your way in - it's Sunland y'know. But no panhandlers or junkies in the actual restaurant though.

I have to say we really enjoyed the food but we had placed or order over the phone from their website. When we arrived the total for the meal was much different then the websites prices. So just know that going in that they have not updated their site in a while.

Usually caterpillar roll comes loaded with eel inside...this one barely had any. Hawaii roll had little amounts of tune slices as well. For the price we paid it was totally not worth it. Tasty, but it really was just rice roll with rice inside and infinitesimal amounts of eel/tuna.

Love the atmosphere, the employees are great, and love some of their dishes. Their beef bulgogi is beautifully presented, and i love their spicy crab roll. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother ordering the ramen. Overpriced for the facts it tastes and looks like top ramen. Could make similar ramen dishes at home.

Customer service was nice,, however I ordered spicy tuna tempura roll. Not sure if this is tuna or what, more like overcooked meat of sum sort. 🤔 also ordered super Mexican roll. The jalapeño taste like bell peppers and each piece jalapeños was bigger than the roll itself Waste of my money

I ordered online and drove to the restaurant. When I got there the chef told me he can’t make it. He had to cancel it. Not the best way to talk to a customer who drove from a different city just to get such an unpleasant energy. Kind of upset they wait foe you to get there to say it’s canceled not even a sorry.

Horrible service. Let waitress know I was allergic to shrimp when I ordered rainbow roll. She said it would be replaced but additional charge. Agreed to charge. Brought it with shrimp anyway. Took it back but took off the shrimp and put some fish on it. Not even a new piece for their mistake.

Every time we order for this place the lady has an attitude when we ask her for so,e extra sauce. We are paying 50+ on sushi and she has the nerve to give us her attitude when ever we ask. She is the rudest. This is the only sushi place close to us and I rather drive to Burbank and spend my money some where else. The customer service here is horrible. I wish I didn't have to give them a star

1-11-17 I had not been here in a long time . the last time was not the best experience . but i decided to give them a shot again because everyone can have a bad day .. the bast part of the meal was my beer while waiting for my food . the check came to $73 dollars if i could get my money back minus the beer i would.. i ate half a roll out of all that food.. sad so close and easy to get to but the sushi just doesn't do it for me .. bummer to have a sushi joint so close that is over priced and not even what i consider to be decent sushi . go further up the road and you will find at least sushi better them this place .worst spent $73 dollars ever. Horrible experience. I deliver for postmates. I received an order for delivery when I went in this evil asian man refused to take the delivery order, yelled at me, and said to tell the customer it'll take an hour as a matter of fact, "tell him we're closed! I had not the faintest idea what his problem was but I and another postmaster walked out in disgust. He embarrassed me in front of a line full of people when I was just trying to do my job. Beware the demon sake sake

This place is horrible! They got my order wrong three times and when I called the third time a older man told me to just eat what he gave me even though the person eating had a food allergy and that was explained from the initial order! The older man then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and I would never be able to order from another Japanese restaurant in the valley again! Horrible horrible horrible! Do not order from here! In addition the add a 5 percent surcharge on take out orders! Who does that and has horrible customer service, and can’t get an order right! There are hundreds of Japanese restaurants in the valley! Steer clear of this one!
