The guy at the front was super nice and kindly explained that all my drink orders were out or had an ingredient missing. This wasn’t bad though because I wanted to try something new, and when I didn’t end up liking it, he was able to give me a fresh new drink. Great customer service, great interior, and good place to just hang out.

Pekoe has a wide selection of Boba teas, chill interior with lots of seating, helpful and friendly staff. They are very generous with their toppings. Prices are the usual 6.50-8 depending on the type of drink. There’s lots of parking. It’s near Lee’s Sandwiches.

One of my favorite boba spots. Always friendly. The quality of ingredients is almost always on point. A lot of places make the boba too mushy and slimy.. but they do pretty good here. Pretty in Pink is my favorite drink. I really love their variety of toppings, especially fresh fruits.

Loved the atmosphere. We ordered pretty pink and mango fruit tea (with milk) with no sugar. I loved the mango flavor. It was definitely better than the pretty pink one. The best part about the place is its vibe. I would love to go there again.

Cup size is a one size for all teas and it's pretty large for a decent price which I truly appreciate. 👍🏽 This place isn't too bad. I have my personal favorite boba shops but if it's after hours, I would most likely come here again in the future, NOT soon though. This tea house looks like a strip club with pink, suggestive decor, and a big screen showing K-pop on one side while the other side fake fireplaces. Seatings were contradictorily mixed with the comfort of long cushioned pink sofa and the discomfort of white hard slippery chairs. Let the man-go smoothie was way too sweet; Pekoe special didn't taste any tea flavors. My Thai Tea Whities (can't believe I am drinking men's undies. 😂) was a mess, tasted neither matcha nor anything else, pudding was good though. Service was friendly, that's the only good thing at Pekoe.

Unfortunately, when I visited, the store was completely empty, so I can't speak for the in-store experience. The downside is that all the seating is indoors – no outdoor patio to enjoy. Speaking of the order, I went for the "Pretty in Pink" milk tea with sea salt cream and strawberry chunks. The drink was functionally flawed. The cup overflowed, dripping down the sides. A quick wipe from the staff would have been nice. The drink itself was a mixed bag. The creamy sea salt cream was delightful, but the milk tea had a strange bitter aftertaste. The strawberry chunks were a bit too chunky for me, but they are customizable, so you can skip them if you prefer. The boba itself was decent, chewy, and flavorful. Overall, Pekoe Sunnyvale is convenient and has the potential to be great.

KEEP IN MIND: the paper menu on the counter does not have all of the drinks that they display on the TV menus... Maybe take a look at their website to see the full menu? Drinks I have tried: + Pretty in Pink: Their classic and most popular drink! The milk tea is sweet and has a subtle tea flavor. The boba is SO GOOD and sweetened well, so I recommend getting 50% or 25% sugar. This also comes with strawberry jellies, but no heart-shaped ones??? + Brass Monkey: This was just okay. Watered down milk tea and the grass jelly isn't very sweet or herbal tasting. The banana flavor was decent, but I wouldn't recommend it. + Thai Tea Whities: This drink beat my expectations! Very fragrant thai tea flavor (a slight matcha flavor?) with a fluffy thick crema on top! Too good to be true. Not to mention, the milk pudding is INCREDIBLE! Milky, not too sweet, and the perfect texture. I would definitely recommend this drink to anyone. + Kawaii: OH MY GOD. This drink is way too sweet. Literal sugar overload! Definitely get this drink 25% sweetness... maybe 0% sweet... The tea in this drink is very subtle, so only order this if you love artificial fruity drinks and don't care for the tea flavor.

I got the Manly Melons, since my friends raved about it. I was hoping for fruit juices mixed together, but it tasted mostly like syrups mixed together. The tea flavor wasn't very prevalent and the drink was pretty sweet at 50%. There wasn't an option for 25%. The agar boba and aloe pieces were a nice touch. I tried my friend's Let's Get High, and it had a good texture (almost chocolaty) and the coffee jelly was good, but it was also super sweet with little tea flavor. There's plenty of seating and there's a big screen where they play music videos to set the clubby vibe. The service is super fast and the staff was friendly. Parking is ample. Some of the other restaurants have a lot of cars filtering in and out. Just gotta be a lil patient.

What a disappointment, my drink was overly sweet couldn’t be modified) payed for boba and didnt get it. The place is definitely not family friendly, music sooooo loud… avoid if you have little ones. Definitely crossing out this place for boba, and not to say payed almost 9 dollar for it… 😳

I’ve had pekoe only 3 times in my life and I’m never the one that wants to go. Everytime I do they never want to use their blender (hrs before close) and their milk tastes sour or the tea is bitter. This last time the milk made my stomach upset. I can’t stress this enough but where is the manager? As a manager in food service every experience I’ve had would never happen in my store. I'm gonna stress this I hate being that person but please do better for your business because I’d be embarrassed and the management team should be.
