Wonderful night out with friends set out on Ciaos outdoor setup. (Thanks Stupid Covid) Excellent wait staff provided great feedback on their delicious menu and drink list. Yummy ceaser salad, and hellz yes the calamari is rockin!! My ravioli was on target and filling. Highly recommend.

The food here is fabulous! Our youngest daughter got engaged here and then we had dinner afterwards. The mushroom ravioli was the clear winner - delicious! Diverse menu options to satisfy any palate and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful! They even kept the cake (we were also celebrating a birthday) in their cooler and brought it out when requested, cut it, and served it 😃👍👍

Great setting with great food and great service! My kids said their fettuccine Alfredo was the best they’ve ever had. The pizza was awesome, and the lamb chops were delicious!

My wife and I were passing through Sylvania and tried this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday evening based on its Trip Advisor rating. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and the service. We both ordered pasta (one Carbonara and one Bolognese); both were very good. We also enjoyed their good bread with a nicely infused olive oil. We finished the meal with the flourless chocolate cake and waddled out satisfied and happy.

Always wanted to check this place out. Cool building. We came last night for my husband’s birthday. 10/10! Service was great. Food was amazing. And you CANNOT beat half off for birthdays! We had an amazing meal and their happy hour and live jazz sounds really fun. We live over an hour away but we will be back!

The perfect cozy Italian restaurant for date night! We ordered the fried ravioli and Alfredo pasta with chicken and both were absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are pretty decent and we had plenty to take home for leftovers. Unfortunately we were not seated in the main dining room so we did not order the current special because of space limitations. We will absolutely be back in the future!

Fantastic birthday dinner and celebration. The music was a perfect setting in the bar and the food and team of servers were amazing. One thing, the dust and spider webs on the little lamps in the bar need to be cleaned.

We absolutely love this place! Great food, atmosphere and service. Excellent bar tenders as well. Although a bit pricey, it's worth the visit.

Amazing! Try the fettuccine di tavola. It's dinner and a show! The staff are friendly and the food is worth it! Do make a reservation though as it gets busy.

It was a nine person birthday dinner and everyone loved their meal and the service was excellent. I have yet to have a bad meal there. The tableside alfedo is amazing.

I have lived within a few miles of Ciao for over 20 years and never ate here until just a few days ago! I am an idiot because Ciao is fantastic! I should have visited sooner! There were 4 of us and we all ordered different entrees. None of us were disappointed. I got the seafood pasta with vodka sauce...it could have been a bit more spicy but the flavor was spectacular. My wife got the chicken parmesan and it was very good, but get it with the Bolognese sauce on the side of spaghetti. Tylor was a good serve but got overly busy and our service suffered. The outdoor dining looked very nice! The cocktails were well made and delicious. I wish I would have visited Ciao! sooner.

Carol and Nicole absolutely rocked my night tonight. They made Christmas Eve magical. Will be coming back.

Our favorite Italian in the area! Always great service and friendly staff. Food is consistent and always delicious. Consistency is key in the restaurant industry and Ciao does that every time we visit.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight; excellent service by Alex! He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had such a warm demeanor while serving my family. Now, for me and my family, it is a privilege that someone would wait on and serve us, but to have a waiter like Alex to do so, is such a great privilege. We also made sure to remind his general manager Geoff about this attentiveness, and we hope it is taken into consideration as his time at Ciao continues in the future! Ciao is one of our favorite restaurants in town, and we most definitely will be coming back soon! Always a pleasure visiting!

Going to Ciao is a weekly event in our household. The patio is wonderful on nice evenings, the main dining room is like sitting at Nona’s house and the bar is a great place to sit and feel totally welcomed. Monday and Tuesday night’s there is the music of Chris and Candace, who should be signing on Broadway. Myriah, Hayley and Nicole never disappoint when they make you a drink. Barbie, Bill, Geoff and Chef Ben are always there to make you feel comfortable and provide you with the best there is to offer. We have always felt welcomed there by all the servers and always leave with a feeling of just having Sunday dinner at mom’s.

Lovely restaurant! We celebrated my birthday here, and it was the perfect choice to have a little bit romantic but still slightly laid back vibe!

Service was excellent! Our server made diet specific recommendations and new the menu and ingredients used in each dish well. Food was delicious. Manager was attentive to the restaurant clientele.

Kiana and Lauren are wonderful!!! We have always loved Ciao!! Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere are the best and top of the line!!! My brother came home to visit and this is one of his favorite places!! He was so happy that everything tasted amazing like he remembered! Lauren went above and beyond’s he to accommodate my father’s allergies and Kiana was so sweet and took the time to take photos of our family!!! Thank you Ciao!, and team for all you do!!! Reservations were made indicating that one of the diners would be in a power wheelchair and we asked Accommodations be made. The Hostess could not have been nicer And gave us. A choice of two tables, helped move chairs so that I could get my wheelchair behind the table and she just couldn’t do enough for me. Our waitress Lexi was very attentive and indicated how much we would love our meals as we did, she even took the time to take Our pictures. Thank you for a very good experience.

Our friends introduced us to Ciao! What a gift they gave us! The flavors of each meal revealed a level of culinary skill not commonly found in this price range. I also appreciated that we could have a conversation without needing to yell -- the room was vibrant but not noisy. Recommended for a pleasant night out, anniversary celebration or whatever excuse you need for a great meal well priced.

My expectations were set very high and Ciao managed to exceed them. To help accentuate how rare that type of experience is, it is only the second time in my life I've experienced this phenomenon. The food was exceptional. Everything was incredibly flavorful, good quality, and well prepared. The service was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. The lighting was subtle. The live music was really nice. Everyone working here should be proud of themselves.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Second time we've been to this restaurant. Both times were excellent. This time we were stopping after going to the lights at the zoo, so being able to warm up - drink copious amounts of EXCELLENT coffee, and set out for our drive home to Chicagoland at 10:00 at night was a blessing. Food was amazing, our wait staff was equally friendly and prompt. Will never hesitate to stop at your restaurant in future trips, if time permits.

My friend and I celebrated her birthday at Ciao. Our waiter was excellent. Very attentive with suggestions etc. Our food was delicious. The environment is lovely. I would say Ciao is by far the best restaurant in Sylvania. I have been going to Ciao for many years. It is always my first pick!!! We had a wonderful time! Will definitely return again soon.

First time dining at Ciao. We will be back. Husband and I both enjoyed our meals greatly. We ordered plain spaghetti with red sauce, chicken mostarda, asiago al forno, and the most decadent raspberry chocolate torte. The atmosphere is cozy and beautifully low lit. Our server Casey couldn’t have been better. Attentive, informative, and overall warm and kind. Thanks!

The staff at Ciao are wonderful! When my husband and I wanted to share good news with our family over dinner, they helped me set up a special table to surprise them. They were so kind and friendly, and the food was fantastic!

Mainstreet Ventures Italian staple in Toledo. Menu has remained nearly the same over the years, but they continue to have daily/weekly specials. Food is consistently delicious and service is good.

For a very crowded night, we were promptly seated for our reservation. Greeted, waited awhile for drinks-so long, mine was already water down and needed to ask for more ice and my husband's beer had no foam on. They sat for a while. Not a big deal. Asiago app was excellent. Do you know the ingredients in the cauliflower crust chips we got with the cheese? Dinners were excellent. Salmon cooked to perfection, salad not over dressed. Shrimp Scampi was execellent-elevated from scampi we have had before. No room for dessert. Next time. Bathrooms had a foul odor, and my silk shoes sat in some water that had pooled on the floor. My girlfriend said the bathrooms are always gross. For the caliber of the restaurant, bathrooms could use an update. Overall-a very nice evening. We will be back.

As many Italian restaurants this one too is classy. Online and phone reservations are available. Environment is quite and good, the complimentary bread was just okay, could be better as it was hard unlike the usual fresh soft bread. Sides (Ravioli) were tasty. Coming to main dish, chicken was saggy and not so good, while the pizza was good. Quality of food : 6 Taste and essence : 6 Presentation : 7 Hospitality & Environment : 8 Price-value : 7 Cleanliness : 8 Red’s Final Rating : 7/10

So happy hour was only in the bar area. We asked 3 times to move from the table they put us at to a booth. 3 different excuses. They said the booth was reserved. We were there for 2 hours and the booth stayed empty the whole time. Manager? Was loud and kind of sarcastic. Food and service was good otherwise. Probably won't be back.

We had a new server that tried very hard to give great service and did a good job however the food was absolutely mediocre at best. We were a party of 4 celebrating a special occasion. One got very ill and suspected the food. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Although my first experience was not best I must give a huge shout out to this business for reaching out and and their concern. You sure don’t get that these days…pride in ownership. When I head back thru the area, I’ll definitely give it another shot. So thankful to see a dedicated business and sincere concern. I feel bad for my initial review as I had high expectations for a nice family dinner on Christmas Eve. ——— Bland and blah food. Not one item from appetizer, to salad, and then main entrees had any flavor.

This place is great. My boyfriend and I go every chance we get — for every event and every birthday dinner. The manger recognises us every time we go and servers and service are usually always great. However, a while ago we went for my birthday dinner and our server literally neglected us. I’m not even exaggerating. We would ask for more bread and he would disappear for like 15 minutes, or we’d ask for a drink refill (which we usually never even have to ask for because they normally bring it out themselves due to their great service). He was constantly checking on the table behind us, asking if they were okay, then walking right past us. We literally had to call him over every single time we needed something. The table behind us was also celebrating a birthday dinner, and he gave them the birthday discount without checking their ID. When it came to us and we mentioned it was my birthday, he immediately said, “Can I see your ID?” like I was lying. I showed him my ID, which is fine, whatever, but like I said, we go here every year for birthday dinners and I’ve never once been asked for ID before. He looked over my entire ID, going back and forth between the picture and my face. Not even Kroger does that when you’re buying alcohol, but whatever because I’m gonna have a fake ID just to get a birthday discount right? We are college students, so I don’t know if he assumed we wouldn’t tip and just didn’t bother trying. We always, always tip good, but either way, the way we were neglected was concerning. I’m not going to accuse someone of racism because I don’t know him and I don’t throw that word around lightly, so I’m leaving it at the possibility that he assumed we wouldn’t tip because we’re younger. That’s still something that should definitely be looked into. This happened a while back, and we haven’t been to Ciao since. I really love this restaurant, though, so I’m leaving this review to get it off my chest and hopefully feel comfortable going back again. P.s. he was older, thin and wore glasses
