Everything I have tried at this restaurant, I Have Loved! The Mediterranean Panini is my Favorite. The olive spread paired with Feta Cheese is just delicious.
Banging service & banging food. How is my choice Everyone is always polite done I didn't know you can do that. This is so cool
Wow the food is awesome! Lots of varieties to choose from. Was served quick. The restuarant is clean and well managed, friendly.
Pita Pita is super yummy always. I got the Godfather and it was delicious. The sandwiches are jam-packed and very filling. You won't walk out hungry!
They just delivered my order to my jobsite, was surprised how fast and it was well packaged and the delivery driver was wearing gloves. The wrap and salad was great!
The food is so flavorful & delicious! Decent prices & SO MANY options!! I can’t wait to go back again
I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad from here and I loved it the pita wedges were very good as well. Everything I had was delicious and I highly recommend this place!
I've been frequenting pita pita for YEARS and it never fails to be awesome. Staff is super friendly, food is amazing and I always love bringing my out of town friends and family here!
If you are in the area near these guys, check them out. I had a lamb gyro and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
Fantastic food. Great staff. Everything is awesome Everything is cool when your part of a team
The food is delicious, you get your monies worth. Also the staff is friendly and efficient.
The food is great the customer service is amazing. I have tried many things on the menu. So far my favorites are the Gyro, the Southwest, the Jalapeno hummus, the chipotle hummus and the roasted red pepper hummus. Their food is healthy and decently priced. Also if you like pickles, they have great pickles as well. If you have thought about trying Pita Pita and have not yet. Do it and do it soon!!!
Well we just left and wow... I'm impressed! I'm not sure of her name but she was so good to my daughter and I on our trip in! The food was delicious and inexpensive. My daughter wasn't a fan of the pita bread (first time trying it) and she made us a whole new sandwich!!! It feels good to know there are still decent people in the world... Anywhere else would've charged us for the second sandwich! I'm very happy with my experience and will return for sure!!
The gentleman working this evening were a delightful crew, there were two of them.not only service with a smile but also automatically corrected an error without hesitation, and they were efficient....it is nice to see places with beautiful customer service like these two tonight, so full of energy and life....thank you for humming along to Christmas music and service with a smile...you guys are amazing and deserve a raise!!!!
Been coming for years always great service thank you for always greeting me with a smile treating me like more then a customer & always having fresh ingredients love that the service and food is still great after all these years
Delicious fast casual Dine in/to go. Panini, wraps, salads, desserts, and more. Pleasant gem tucked right at the intersection of 173/175. Not cozy, but friendly staff, with customer bathroom. Onsite parking seating for about 20/24. Catering available.
I love this place you either can get the pita wrap , sub or salad . I usually get a salad but lately I been getting there steak sub with onions peppers mushrooms with pepper jack cheese and mayo and al if they have it usually 2 , then there Humus is the bomb it is so good and to top it off with a slice of cherry cheesecake which is one of the best I have tasted or a cannoli . And you can’t beat the price or the size of the subs . The salads are big and so are the wraps and the soups are delicious.
The wraps are ginormous, and of course delicious. The southwest wrap tasted light (in the good way). Really fresh food. Looking forward to the gyros and cannolis most of all.
Great little shop to grab a quick sandwich and take a lunch break. Have never been disappointed by any of the sandwiches I've purchased here and will be returning often!
Food so fresh and tasty! Had the Mediterranean Panini and cheesy Philly Steak with the works! Not soggy. Absolutely delicious! Nice friendly staff!
Best food on the hill!! Love their Greek salad!
The food was great. Salads and panini were what we had for lunch. The place was clean and the staff friendly. We will be making a trip back there to try other things on the menu.
The staff is always SUPER friendly and ready. Even when they are juggling 6 calls, they still don't make a customer in store wait a single second... fast and efficient. I don't even need to mention anything for the food more than its.... THE pita place.
I love this place. I have been going here for years the l a st with the baseball cap and dark hair is awesome I love her hard work ethnic and friendly personality hope to see you " soon sorry I forgot your name. This is Queen
Amazing sandwiches, panini's, wraps, and gyros! There's not too many places around here that specialize in sandwiches, especially hot sandwiches like panini's and such, but Pita Pita does the job and they do it very well.
Me and my dad came here we are from Connecticut. This place was all around great. I got the roast beef pita. Pita was so fresh and filled with meats and veggies definitely worth the 12.99. Dad got the Italiano panini Definitely recommend. 5/5
Food is ALWAYS delicious and fresh. Love the crew of young men that work there. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to assist me during a recent visit. I accidentally locked my keys in the car- without hesitation they helped me. WONDERFUL service with a smile, EVERY TIME my family and I have come in.
The employees here we're just exemplary! They allowed me to leave my broken down vehicle in their parking lot for a few hours until I could get it towed. Then I had to order food because it smells so delicious in there and the Philly cheese steak wrap that I ordered was just excellent!
We love their salads and decided to order catering today. Chicken Cesar salad was amazing. Tons of food and the owner was super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!!
We stopped here from out of town today. We were very impressed. The food was great and service was quick and the girls working were very pleasant. We will definitely stop again when in town!
I love the tuna subs here, and they have really tasty dessert! The staff is really kind and helpful. Prices are very decent also for the amount of food you get.
I love this place. I come for the gyro. They stuff that thing full with meat! You definitely get what you pay for in terms of portions. The ladies working are always super friendly and quick! Great place for a quick lunch or take out!
I love Pita pita, they serve the best Philly steak! I love how it melts in my mouth, it taste soooo good. Philly wrap is also a YUM. I have it with pepper jack cheese and it was great. I also tried their Mediterranean Panini and salads. Great food was served. Nice cozy ambiance. Kind staffs. Definitely would go back here!
It's insane how great their salads taste... can't go wrong with the muffaletta salad... I sometimes add on Lamb too! Best salad I've ever had anywhere, anytime. Thanks for being in Syracuse.... keep up the great work!! Subs are awesome too...
I've always known about Pita Pita but never went there until today and I'm so happy I did. The food was delicious (they had so many great options I had trouble choosing), the price was good, and the person who served me (I really wish I could remember his name) was so kind. He made me laugh and even offered to carry the food to my table for me. I'll definitely be going back!
Has the best chicken Ceasars salads in town. They cook the chicken on a grill. Ingredients are always fresh.
One of my absolute favorite place to come to, everything is fresh everyday, my favorite is Chicken Salad with their homemade balsamic dressing with crispy chicken, their soups are also really good and homemade, their panini's, its all just so good i could eat here everyday and not gain weight cause everything is just good healthy eats. Love the staff that work there also, super friendly and amazing people is also another reason i go there, really good people.
Delivery of Philly Steak today. Tasted great and huge !
Dinner was delicious!! I had an Italian sub and my companion had a chicken Caesar pita. The staff were awesome, making sure we both knew what came on our respective items as standard and asking if we wanted any modifications. Staff even brought out our meals before we finished paying and moved a chair so my companion’s wheelchair could easily pull up to his spot at the table. Amazing service! Will definitely be back soon!
First time in after driving by so many times. I'm not usually on this side of town for lunch but I'll make it a point to be now. Super friendly staff and a plethora of options - subs, wraps, paninis, salads, soup and more. I had a nice turkey sub and some southwest chicken soup - yum.
I honestly don't understand the bad reviews but alot of these seem like their for the downtown city location n that I can understand but for this location which is not the city store, my entire order was right everything was extremely fresh and delicious with very good service. One of my new favorite places to eat from! Best tzatziki sauce n gryos around !
I have had plenty of salads in my life. I have seriously NEVER EVER had a better tasting salad (and salad dressing) in my life!! I got a chicken ceaser salad. Everything was perfectly proportioned (lettuce cheese chicken croutons ) I know it sounds crazy cause it is just a salad but I will definitely be ordering from this place again very soon. Thanks!!!!
The philly wrap is Delicious. I don't like pepper jack cheese so I get mine with feta and mayo. IT'S DELICIOUS.. The staff is Very friendly and professional... Debbie and the crew are Great. I get my food delivered for my lunch and it takes about 45 min and the driver is efficient..Keep Up The Good Work !!!!
Good food, but not a place to go if you are in a rush. Popular place means big lunch crowd. Phone your order in of possible
Food was pretty good but expensive (almost $20 for just me). They were out of the hummus I wanted so I got a different flavor
Great place for salads, wraps and subs. Quick and easy, and the food has always been good.
Good food, friendly service. A variety of salads and sandwiches available
This was a very nice, clean, and convenient place to meet my friend when we decide to grab an early dinner. Obviously, I decided to get a cheese steak instead of a pita (for whatever reason) even though I imagine their pitas are what they are known for. Anyway, it was just what I needed at the time. I accidentally got Olives on it because I'm very confused sometimes when ordering. Although I did that it was still very good. Probably somewhere around 7/10 of the cheese steaks I have had.
Great food a little pricey. But I do like the place out door seating in the shade. Nice remodeled inside. Parcial open kitchen. air conditioning. Great service, fast and friendly would and have recommended to friends and family.
My first time being here, I was drawn to it just from looking at the outside. The menu offers a lot of options. I had the Monte Cristo and the Pita Pita favorite salad. I grabbed a brownie, cherry cheesecake and tiramisu. The panini was very good, so was the salad. I believe the customer gets a lot of food for the price. Avoid the brownies, they’re dried out. The cheesecake just didn’t taste like cheesecake...I really can’t explain What it tasted like but I would avoid that too. The tiramisu was great until I hit the bottom where the ‘cake’ part is. If you really need dessert I would get the tiramisu just cut off the bottom. Again, I cannot describe the taste that I was getting. I probably would return for a quick panini, even though it’s a “long wait”, maybe 15/20 minutes. But there were only three people there so I took that into consideration. Either way I still recommend with caution. Hope this helps.
Excellent sandwich, gives you enough to easily feed 2-3 people. Downside is that between the sandwich, chips and bottled water it was $19.
Panini was a good sandwich but a little expensive. The Philly cheese steak was better priced.
A variety of food items to choose from. Pitas, subs, salads, quesadillas and probably more. Service has overall been pretty good, but as far as atmosphere goes it's just a place to eat a sandwich, doesn't have a lot of flair. That's fine by me but some might prefer flair
Slow @ Lunch Hour Overall, the service was very good. All staffers were busy making the pitas that were ordered. My order was very simple--pita chips and hummus. The pita chips were warm, but a tad old. I enjoyed my lunch, and the cafe was not crowded at the time.
Used to live near here and visited more often. However, was in the neighborhood and decided to get lunch. Food has always been good and satisfying, but not amazing. They do have other perks, such as salads, and rice pudding.
I use order all the time but now I order every so often. The food is really good but the service is hit or miss. The employees are always friendly but don’t always get your order right. Today was one of those days. It would help tremendously if they actually wrote your order down instead of going by memory especially bc they get multiple ppl at once coming in. Again the food is good just doesn’t hit as good when they don’t prepare it how you ask and it isn’t cheap. Maybe next time.
Love this place. Love the food, always fresh. They will make everything and anything to order. Very pleasant. I enjoy eating there
used to be a good lunch shop but today I found the food very greasy and not very good as it used to be. Got order wrong I didn't find until I got home.
Food is good but the staff is WILDLY rude. There are several other places for this cuisine that doesn't involve rude employees. PITA PITA do better.
It works in a pinch and it's a healthy alternative from fast food. There is no wow factor here just simple pitas and salads. Very nice people working behind counter. Not a terrible Gyro.
Food is delicious but every time we order, usually once a week, the food is always different. One day the salad may have cheese but the next time it doesn’t. One week it’s $10 the next it’s $14. I don’t think everyone is on the same page up there. If they were consistent I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately you never know what your going to get!
I love the food here, and it is quite filling, but it is also quite expensive. Also, the hummus is always cold, fresh out of the fridge. I wish that they would at least microwave it before serving, because I genuinely don't know anyone who prefers freezing cold hummus over warm hummus.
First visit here was very nice. Lots of sandwich options. Check out the menu 😉 my favorite part of my experience is buying a lemon bar! So Amazing, if you like lemon. Went back 2 days later to buy 5 more. The staff had Patience, very sweet! Calling today for more lemon bars, the women on the phone was rude and short. They had 10 lemon bars left, i was going to buy them all, but she changed my mind. ☆☆☆
Wanted to give 1 and half stars! Quaint place, servers were welcoming. Mediterranean panini was bland to say the least! The boiled/steamed chicken they used was only saved by the olives and feta cheese. The size of the sandwich is almost pathetically small. Everything is sold separately, chips 1.99 soda 2.99. There was a crumb cake offered at the counter (not in the case with other desserts) and an older lady behind the counter swore how tasty it was…it was not! It was dense and again missing something in the flavor. The price of $28 for two with a coupon mind you, was extremely high for the taste and mediocrity of this meal! Am not going back.
I use to go here years ago and loved the place. It's been about 5 years and was in the area so stopped by. First of all no complaints about the staff. They were amazing. But the pita shell has changed since I last visited and all though the topping were fresh the shell was old and stale. I won't be back unfortunately. And didn't realize until I got home they forgot my pickles within my pita. Very disappointed in the directions this place has gone.
Very poor customer service, very. Just spent $4,000. on your website, but didn't include an item people apparently order regularly - Spinach Chicken Caesar Salad! Never spend 20 minutes on the phone telling the customer why they are wrong; it will not make them want to come back in, not even for the $2.00 off you offered. No thank you. p.s. get your money back on that website.
We were excited to try this place, it's right next to the house. We walked in and immediately felt like an inconvenience. There was a young girl and an older lady. The lady was very surly and pretty abrupt. We had two sandwiches, they were made wrong and fell apart. Very disappointed
I've been to Pita Pita a few times and the food is good (nothing spectacular, but tasty) and as a vegetarian I like that they have a few options that aren't just salad to enjoy. Today I came in and the two women at the counter was complaining about roasted red peppers and how "today is not the day for this" - so they were already upset. Then I ordered a grilled cheese and was asked if I wanted peppers, onions, and mushrooms on it (which I thought was odd) and said only mushrooms. Then did I want it in a wrap or a sub? After many odd questions, some sighs and eye rolls from the worker, and stating "like a normal grilled cheese" at least two more times after the original order, I got back to work to unwrap a steak sandwich (I'm glad I ordered a cucumber salad on the side, or I wouldn't have anything for lunch). Picking off the meat is not an option. As a customer, It doesn't matter to me if you are having a bad day - when I order, I expect your focus to be on my order (even if it's just for a few moments) and to have a pleasant enough experience during that time. Having held many customer service positions, including my current one, I understand this ideal and I strive to give the most pleasant service I can. Especially if I'm having a bad day. I have never written a bad review for any restaurant, so please understand how truly upset I am that I basically paid $10+ to feel as if my presence was unwanted in the cafe and a cup of cucumber side salad. -- I chose to review Pita Pita rather than call, because there is nothing that they are able to do to fix this (as I cannot leave work to correct the order). I will not order from them again.
This place is hit or miss. The staff is either attentive and friendly or dismissive and bothered. I like the Spring turkey wrap and when made well it is delicious. However, this place is extremely overpriced. 1 wrap (turkey) and 1(chicken) pita came to $31.45! If you pay with card they add $2 per item onto the cost making each item $14.95 plus tax. Not worth the money.
Ordered online for pickup . No staff members were wearing masks. Got the steak , cheese and pepper sub. Sub was mediocre . Lemon Garlic hummus was great . Pita chips that came with the hummus were stale & tough - ended up throwing them out & eating the hummus with veggies I had at home .
This was my first time at Pita Pita. My wife and I ordered two bowls of soup and two orders of hummus and pita and a fountain soda. We paid and we’re handed two cups of soup and there was some confusion around if we actually paid for a drink. It was a little awkward. We got the roasted red pepper hummus and it was a little tasteless. However, the lemon garlic hummus was flavorful so we shared that. The most disappointing part of the meal was the actually the pita. It reminds me of a grilled communion wafer and was a little hard to chew. There is better pita and hummus in the Syracuse area.
Sad to say, the customer service here absolutely sucks. Used to love coming here...I won't be anymore
Who dumped the whole container of black pepper into the macaroni salad? Ugahgahgahh.... (cough cough cough). let's just call it black pepper macaroni salad. An expensive container of macaroni salad went into the trash after the second spoonful. Awful!
Very rude staff, poor customer care/service. food is not that great. I highly recommend to avoid this place!
I ordered the Philly steak loaded so much for loaded soggy bread not toasted no hot peppers tasteless peppers and onions mushrooms were rubber wife ordered a corned beef sandwich and specifically said Russian dressing Swiss cheese no sauerkraut well they gave us corned beef with sauerkraut seeming I live close I brought the sandwiches back and told them I specifically told you about the corned beef sandwich can't you comprehend never go back again I'll go to Byrne Dairy or drive as far as Brooklyn Pickle
This restaurant closes at 9 for you to shut off the grills at 8:30 because u want to leave at 9 is bad for business you’re missing out on money because y’all want to leave at 9 exactly when yall close and That is unprofessional
Ghetto, ratchet employees who completely messed up my order and gave me attitude when I called. Disappointing because the food is typically good aside from a couple soggy paninis. Woman used "they were busy" as an excuse to forget 2/5 items in an order, which is unacceptable. Also took her a good 2 minutes into the conversation to apologize. Why are manners so hard to come by?
This was the first time I have been in a while and last time I love it but my today experience was horrible. This was the worst customer service I’ve seen. I was having trouble with my money and the lady kept cursing about us. Which is very wrong to do to paying customers. Don’t go here because the way they treated us was wrong. When we went to go back when my friend was denied because they couldn’t figure out how to work the flex dollars which is the OCC money we use off campus and the cashier was cursing about us saying I don’t have f**ing time for this, How unprofessional. Manager didn’t care, no type of refund for the poor service and the rude behavior.
Open sign illuminated..... not open ...lady was pretty snotty to my kid when he tried to open the door .... 0 stars because we couldn't try anything
I wa decent and they failed to make the sandwich decent. Was super thin. The only option they have was to remake the sandwich the same way or give me my money back so they let me go hungry. They had very little remorse, quailty and did not seemed concerned with their practices. Very disappointing to see once again.
If I could give this place a zero I would. They have the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced. We've been ordering from here for years and we have never been treated the way we were today by the woman who answered the phone. We are very dissatisfied and we will never order from here again!!
Disappointed. The girl accidentally added an extra pita to my order. When I asked how it came to the amount it did. I was told to just calm down and that I was being a little mean. I was simply asking a question and patiently waiting for them to correct the error. After the third time I was harassed for asking a question I left.
Employee wasn’t wearing mask, who appeared to be talking to and making food for customers. I turned right around and left, even though I had been looking forward to trying this place. Not cool and not safe.
Good food but what has turned me away for good is the attitude of two Staff members. Absolutely unacceptable and they should be trained on how to speak to customers.
It’s sad that even the owner is as rude as her staff. The salads are wonderful. I just feel the attitudes of the staff is unnecessary and they are going to lose alot of customer
Definitely was recommended to try this spot for the first time while up on the HILL....I was really excited to try it, but that's where the excitement ended. I ordered the "award winning" gyro and it wasn't at all what I was expecting in terms of taste, it was pretty bland and the gyro meat itself tasted rubbery, possibly overcooked. My partner tried the chicken sub and he said it was just alright.... overall, I was underwhelmed especially in terms of quality and pricing.
I didn’t go inside my food was picked up by coworker. The lettuc was brown, the panini was 1/4 thick not what I expected at all and didn’t taste great at all. I will not be ordering from here again. $18 dollars for a terrible panini.
I'm sorry but this place has really fallen off in recent years. The prices are insane, way too expensive for mediocre food. They also try to charge you extra for things like cheese on your sandwich... cheese that is supposed to come with the food. And 11 dollars for a grilled cheese... a grilled. Cheese. This place needs to go.
Food was overly priced. A grilled cheese w/tomato and basil is 13.99. No chips or sides cone with that. The cannoli says made-to-order, but the shell was clearly frozen and tasted stale while the filled tasted like vanilla frosting instead of ricotta filling. Overall, I spent way too much for an unsatisfying meal.
we placed an order from our office, the Syracuse City School District- totaling close to $70, specific ordering on one salad, it was completely ignored, we called 6 times placed on hold and ignored, then when we spoke with someone were told "too bad, we wrote it right, it was made wrong." We called back for a manager, same young lady answered and said she was the manager, refused to refund our money - almost $20 with salad and tip, and said they're too busy to bring the correct salad to us so unless we were coming to pick it up (which we cannot in the middle of business day or we would've from the start) there wasn't anything she could do for us, repeating they're too busy. Too busy to offer a refund (credit my card) or make THEIR mistake right.......... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE this isn't the first time they've done this to us but it will be the last, save your money, eat elsewhere
Ordered two cob salads and get home to find no egg or bacon on the salads. Called and were told they're sorry they forgot to mention they are out of bacon but that we could come back and get the egg. Get back there and a kid in his pajama pants tells me we can't have any credit for the salad "cause it's just missing bacon." Folks here are rude and don't value my time or commitment to the quality of the food they serve.
Grumpy people making food as far as I could tell. $16 for a drippy bag of meat basically. LOT's of meat, A+ on that front, but I was more looking for an actual pita I could hold and eat rather than needing a fork. Flavor for me wasn't good either, just tasted like wet chicken mostly, I wouldn't try this place again given the prices and lack of seasoning.
I order at this place so many time before and order the same Southwest Pita. They charge $4 for extra veggie( which it same price for the extra steak) and when I get home it literally a veggie wrap with little steak. Call back and do absolutely nothing to fix not even sorry. One of the most horrible experience ever, please do not order from this place, you will regret it.
