Every time we come to Texarkana to visit my father-in-law, we make it a point to have breakfast at Denny’s—and it never disappoints. The food is consistently good, but what truly makes this location stand out is the staff. Shelly is always so sweet, and Jackie is an absolute blast. They’re both incredibly attentive, welcoming, and make every visit feel special. Their kindness and personality create such a great atmosphere, and they take wonderful care of their customers. They’re a big part of why we keep coming back. Highly recommend this Denny’s!

Went on a Saturday morning, after the early rush. No waiting to be seated. Had a delicious Berry Vanilla Crepe Breakfast: the scrambled eggs with cheese were creamy and fluffy, the bacon was cooked just right, and the crepes were beautifully presented, gently crispy on the edges, with plentiful strawberries. Love having Jackie and Shelly as our waitresses. They are true professionals, offering excellent, attentive customer service with a personal touch. The ladies are quick with drink refills, kind words, and welcoming hugs. Been huge fans of both for the last five years. Will continue to choose this Denny's over others in the area.

Two weeks ago we stopped in, first time in a long time. Food was good, service and personality of Jackie and Shelly was out and of this world. That alone had us driving 40 miles one way to come back and had a fabulous time this time. We will be back.

Jackie was my waitress and she was on top of everything! Coffee good and fresh and she never let my cup get empty. For her to be all alone on the floor she definitely was overly attentive, it was pretty packed! Awesome service! She has an amazing attitude. I’m now a Dennys rewards member and I’ll be back soon.

Fun friendly atmosphere. I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome an smile Waiting at the door. Dasia was our server she was excellent she helped us decide on the perfect entree. Our drinks stayed full. The manager kammie is always attentive, came by an checked on us making sure our experience was top tier!! Definitely will be a return guest!!

I was recently broke down in Texarkana for a week and a half. I ate here several times during my stay. This is definitely the best Dennys that I've ever been to. The employees were absolutely wonderful and kind and attentive. The food was 100% on point every single time, no matter what time of day and what I ordered. Thank you for being the best!

Place is the usual Dennys. Smaller than what I’m used to. Sad though the kitchen staff has to play their foul language music so loud that you can’t hear the overhead music that normally plays.

We asked for chicken fried steak with over medium eggs. We got chicken fried chicken that wasn't fully cooked and eggs were over hard. When we sent the food back, the cook argued. 1:30am on a Wednesday morning and one other table (who had already eaten) so there's no reason he should have been in a hurry. Im a former employee (management) so I know this is grossly unacceptable!!

I have always been an avid Denny's fan, but now I'm not sure I should be. I came in with two friends wanting some pancakes around 11:35, and didn't have to wait for a table at all. I did, however, have to wait about 10 minutes for the server to approach us. When she did, she quickly apologized for the wait and asked for our drink order: no problem. We decided to order our food at the same time to make things easier, mine as a dine-in and theirs as a to-go. I only ordered two buttermilk pancakes at 11:50. I did not receive the pancakes until about 12:30, and they were mixed in with my friends to-go order. The server was curt, even dropping off the ticket before we got our food, and when we handed her the payment she made a comment about having to print the ticket out first??? One of my other friends had ordered stuffed French toast, and when she was given regular French toast she was told they'd have to add the stuffed French toast on as a separate order or they would charge her for additional toppings. The entire hour I was there I only saw/spoke with the server three-four times, and none of the times was she remotely friendly. I do not recommend visiting this Denny's location, especially not past lunchtime. Poor service is not only common but evidently acceptable.

The kids mac n cheese is not as pictured. It came in a dish like they’d have brought extra pickles out in. His side was bigger than his meal dish. I asked the waitress for 3 milkshakes and she brings 1 and 2 kids ones. I asked for a side of brown gravy. I don’t find out until a totally different waitress brings our food that they don’t have brown gravy. If id known there was nothing to dip my sandwich in (they are apparently out of soup) I would have ordered totally differently. Husband ordered biscuits and gravy, the menu said it came with egg toast and bacon. He got A biscuit, no toast. Took forever to get drinks out for the kids and I. We decided on the spot to stop for something else for my son to eat as 3 bites of mac is not a meal. I don’t think I would even compare it to a measuring cups amount. We weren’t asked if we needed anything else or how it was until my husband was standing at the register waiting to pay. Tell you what… not only are we never coming back, they charged 80$. I’m not usually a review leaver but this place doesn’t need any other people randomly wandering in and finding out the hard way it’s not worth it.
