We had an amazing experience at JĀKÖ Cocina! Our waiter, Sam, was absolutely fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. You can tell they really care about their guests. Highly recommend!

Tacos and enchiladas were good. Still has to try other items in the menu. Good service and liked the ambience. Clean place. Music is a little loud though.

Both cocktails were well-crafted and beautifully presented. Quesadilla was solid, grilled octopus outstanding—perfect texture and seasoning. Then came the highlight: truffle fries. We asked for them extra crispy and Isabella made sure they were. Her service was excellent all night. Churros came last—delicious and with great value. Just looked at the picture! Elegant ambiance, top-notch service and high quality food. Highly recommended.

This isn’t meant to come off as pretentious, so bear with me. I managed a restaurant for six months, and I hated it. The reason: servers don’t want to connect with their guests; they want to make all the money without talking to their guests. Sam is phenomenal. He went through the menu, we ordered all of his recommendations, he shared about his experience here. Words can’t explain how much he enhanced our first experience here. Food was amazing!! Make sure to ask for Sam. He did a great job with recommendations and just over all service. I had the Salmon and my wife did the Posole. We also had the Pulpo 🐙. Honestly, everything was delicious and we already planned our next visit. The atmosphere and vibe here is perfect. The music was not too loud nor overbearing, it was just right. If you like taking selfie's, this place gives you a ton of selfie options. I 100% recommend Jako and don't forget, ask for Sam!

Isabella and gentlemen that serviced us were spenlinded to speak with. The drinks and entrees they recommended did not disappoint. The menu is labeled clearly with items that contains gluten or is vegan, but you could always ask the staff. It was a pleasant and welcoming experience.

Staff host and the cleanest environment I have experienced! Jose in the colony made my anniversary night absolutely memorable! Rose Mary made sure we were always full in our cups and plates were never in the way. Smiles and laughs from Jose was such an incredible experience! Ohhh Jako Cocina & Agave… you nailed our brunch from start to finish! I went for the chilaquiles with chicken, enough to feed four people, but somehow I made a respectable dent. Saucy, cheesy, and downright addictive. My husband devoured his enchiladas with green sauce, zesty, fresh, and totally plate-lick worthy. He sipped on a cantarito, I had a mimosa (both dangerously good), and the whole place had this lively, upbeat Latin music vibe that made it feel like the weekend should never end. Big shoutout to our waiter, Jose, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without hovering. We’ll definitely be back

Hidden GEM in Grandscape. If you are in the area you really should stop at this amazing establishment! The food is tasty and flavorful. Pork carnitas are so good. Ask for a shot of tequila to go with!! And for dessert please do not skip on the Chocoholic! The ambiance is amazing and the wait staff is bar none. Ask for Jacob! Took my wife here for Valentine's day and everything was absolutely amazing. From service to food. We had the pleasure of being served by Santiago and he was very personable and gave great recommendations. My wife got the yellow Ceviche and said it was the best she's had and I got a braised short rib with mashed potatoes and it was so tender and flavorful. Also the drinks were very well mixed! 10/10 Will definitely be back.

The food is definitely a fixture of Tex Mex and authentic. My favorite was the steak and rotisserie chicken. The cocktail drinks are delicious, sooo refreshing. The place is beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing. Is definitely a restaurant for girls night out or brunch. The atmosphere was good, there’s music playing in the background and just a beautiful place to walk around, perfect also for date night.

The ambiance is still lovely, but the service was noticeably off-slow, inattentive, and disorganized even though it was not busy. We received some of our plates before the silverware, and the timing of the food was a bit off. One meat dish arrived cold, as if it had been sitting out, and the other wasn’t cooked properly. Overall, the experience lacked flow and attention to detail. That said, the busser, a woman from Venezuela, was very attentive and genuinely concerned about our experience. She made a sincere effort to make up for the service issues, and her kindness stood out.

I have been to JAKO multiple (10+) times over the past year, here is my honest review... The atmosphere and vibe are on point! Fantastic for a little bit of a bougie night out with the girls or date night. And I've always had wonderful service and felt very welcome, the staff is great! For me the downside is the quality of food/drinks and their price point. I have tried several different dishes and multiple drinks. While there have definitely been a few plates that were absolutely delicious and well worth the money, there have been just as many if not more that were mediocre, and definitely not worth the price. So it's kind of hit or miss. I've never had anything that was bad, but the caliber of the food at those prices is not impressive. Their cocktails are definitely delicious, a bit pricey, but good. Although, I have had some that I felt were VERY weak, especially for $15+. And charging $12 for a well drink is pretty crazy, as is $5 for a club soda. I've never paid that much for a well beverage or club soda anywhere. They definitely have great potential, and like I said the atmosphere/vibe are perfect, but the food needs work if the prices are going to stay where they are.
