I wrote a review before, but I wanted to delete it and write a new one :D I love Matcha Boba so so so much!!! The workers are the sweetest people ever and are so friendly ☺️ Their menu is insanely versatile, having almost everything you can imagine at boba place. Out of the TONS (when I say tons, I mean tons) of times I’ve come here, they’ve only messed up my order twice. I don’t blame them though! Sometimes it gets realllyyy busy. (And it also may be my fault because I’m soft-spoken and don’t speak up if my order is wrong…lol-) But in conclusion, GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! order a vanilla milk tea with mango popping boba if you want to really taste my basic palette 😗💗

Honestly, I have an addiction to their milk tea with boba and might need a 12 step program. I've been to a lot of boba places... This is my favorite! Delicious drinks, perfectly made boba, reasonably priced, fast service, and tons of fun snack options! Plus, it's owned by locals who really care about their customers. They always remember me and try to guess what I'll order even though I rarely get the same thing twice in a row! Love this place!

Not only for the taste and variety of drinks, but also for the genuinely kind and helpful owners. My favorite drink is the Green Honey Tea, it’s light, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. I get it every time I visit, and it never disappoints. You can customize it with boba or other toppings, and they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from, whether you’re into fruity teas, milk teas, matcha, or something more unique. Ok What really makes this place special is the people behind the counter. The owners are so friendly and take the time to make sure you get a drink you’ll truly enjoy. They even helped me customize my order when I was first trying things out, and now I’ve got a go-to drink I look forward to every time. Clean spot, great service, and amazing drinks. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area or even going out of your way to try it—you won’t regret it!

They even upgraded my drink from a small to a large because there was extra, which completely made my day. The matcha is delicious, the vibe is cozy, and the kindness here is unmatched. Such a great spot for matcha lovers! The couple that runs it is so kind and welcoming you can tell they really care about their customers. The matcha is high quality, perfectly balanced, and you can taste the freshness in every sip. Boba was soft and chewy, just the way it should be, and all the ingredients felt clean and thoughtfully sourced. Definitely one of those places you can tell is run with love. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Dee and Ben are by far the best business owners I have had the pleasure of meeting in years. Dee is the most genuine and kind business owner in all of Thousand Oaks and surrounding areas. Their Matcha is also the best! We love a good refreshing drink and had been to other places in the area and would mix it up from time to time. When we tried Matcha Boba, we stopped going to the other Matcha places in the area and became regular patrons here. Their Strawberry Tea with Popping Boba is worth the add-on and their Pomegranate Tea is delicious! The quality is consistently great every time! I also love their Peach Tea and Cookies and Cream! Dee is so amazing! So nice! So kind! She remembers my name, she knows our order! And she cares about everyone of her customers. You never find that these days but here you do. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I’m a customer for life. Like Cheers, you want to go where they know your name! Thank you Dee and Ben for being the best drink spot in the area. This is a wonderful hideaway in Thousand Oaks, owned by a beautiful family. The service was above par, I conversed with the husband right there in the store for about an hour and my daughters could’ve sworn I’ve known him for many years. Nope, this was just great energy meeting great energy and talking about sports, Boba, family, and tea. I had the green tea, simple, but my daughters went with the extravagant menu and they are very picky. Trust me! This husband and wife duo is easy to see, our best friends and work well together. You would swear they’re newlyweds ha ha ha ha ha ha. Thanks again for the great service family and the next time I’m in the area, I will stop and say hi and if you’re in the Thousand Oaks area, stopping in and tell them Juette sent you s and maybe they’ll hook ya up!

I went in today and the smoothie I got was yummy. It had taro, almond milk, and w/ whey protein powder, and creatine.The staff was very kind and explained all the different choices really well in detail. I definitely recommend this place.

The service was above par, I conversed with the husband right there in the store for about an hour and my daughters could’ve sworn I’ve known him for many years. Matcha Boba is a nice little local shop that offers a good variety of milk teas and other drinks. They have everything you’d expect from a boba shop, but also offer mushroom coffee and other unique drinks. The staff is very friendly and the prices are average, but the interior is pretty small and the service a a little slow, so it may not be your best option if you’re in a hurry. Overall, the tea flavors are very good and will leave you wanting to go back for more.

The man working in the front at the register is rude and aggressive. It was my first ever time coming in and mind you I have bad eye sight and i’m already standing there squinting trying to read the board with all the drinks listed and underneath there’s a sign that says “do not take pictures” I obviously didn’t see it but he got really aggressive and started yelling at me telling me to delete a picture I took of the food on the shelf. Mind you all I did was take a picture of a pringles can because of the specific flavor that I had never seen before. There were also children right in front of me as he was raising his voice and getting aggressive with me. Weird Atmosphere. The man seems like he tries to be fake nice to customers, strange, his energy felt off from the beginning and his anger temperament needs to be fixed especially around children. The woman making the drinks was kind but the other guy has to go. Don’t work customer service if you can’t handle a little mistake please. Will not be coming back and don’t recommend supporting this business. This was the picture I took by the way.

Apparently, being curious about their products is enough to set them off. They "called out" one reviewer for "leaving multiple bad reviews" at other places but then offered a different one a free drink? Being inconsistent in your policies is extremely unprofessional. I am more likely to leave reviews for bad experiences because good experience should be the given. I would give zero stars if I could. Also after the whole incident, the woman behind the counter kept glaring at us for simply being outside and finishing our drinks. It was super immature.

It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review because I have genuinely enjoyed coming to this establishment. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude to my boyfriend simply because he was curious about a product and decided to take a picture of it to look it up. I understand enforcing your store policy (no matter how silly that policy may be), but to quit servicing one customer to do so and then continuing to talk poorly about him in front of the other customers is not only rude and childish but highly unprofessional. Especially when we’ve been repeat customers and I personally have been coming here for years. It seems this place has a habit of poorly enforcing their store policies, and an even worse habit of never truly apologizing for their mistreatment of paying customers. Trust me, you can find better boba and better service elsewhere.

We arrived excited for matcha boba last night, but the staff closed early and refused to open despite knocking. Calls for hours went ignored too. Poor customer service—better luck next time.

The lady behind the counter was extremely rude to my boyfriend simply because he was curious about a product and decided to take a picture of it to look it up. I understand enforcing your store policy (no matter how silly that policy may be), but to quit servicing one customer to do so and then continuing to talk poorly about him in front of the other customers is not only rude and childish but highly unprofessional.
