P & L Burger

I love this place. I've been going here ever since it opened. The pastrami sandwich is the best. Love the breakfasts. Cook to your order. Excellent place. Steaks are good , ask for grilled onions or add avacado on the side to your breakfast meal, oh so good.

A great lunch place, locally owned and operated. The staff is friendly and the food delicious. There's a large menu to choose from--all at reasonable prices. I tend toward the gyros plate with fried zucchini (an absolute must).

This place has been around since I was a kid and probably longer. I've been eating here for years and cant say anything bad about it. Mom and pop diner. All the food here is classic cooked and regular favorites. Sandwiches, burgers, dogs, burritos, breakfast. Theres no gimmick just quality classics we all love, oh and decent gyros. Staff has always been very friendly and remembers faces, it's easy to smile with them and feel relaxed. There is something to be said about resturants that are around this long since many fail in the first few years. P &L is one of those places that is always a stand by. I can only hope they are around another 30

After a long day at work, this place was a welcome sight! Their pastrami cheeseburger was delicious! And cheap! If I were out here more often, I would definitely give their breakfast menu a try

In one month I had 12 bacon breakfast burritos. I think it's raising my cholesterol. If this is how I go, then it was worth it. The wife loves the French toast. Make sure you get no pico on the breakfast burrito. The decor has not changes in about 30 years and I hope it never does.

Nice family owned business. I’ve been going here since I was a toddler with my mom. The food is great and reasonably priced. The menu is very large with something for everyone, and I haven’t had a single bad experience.

When we go out of town we like to eat at places "unique to where we are". So as we passed through and saw this burger place that seemed like a local joint, we stopped in. Two burgers, fries and sodas that were yummy, and exactly what you would expect at a neighborhood burger spot. The kid working the register was nice, friendly, and the workers were all very busy (lunch rush, Sunday). Our food was good, the bathroom was clean, and we would definitely stop in again if we were in the area.

I had a P&L burger for the first time in over 2 years, and oh my gosh it was incredible. The burgers have a wonderful taste that I can only remember places like Super Tommy's achieving. The Chicken Tenders are also very very good, as well as the crispy thick fries. Wonderful local eatery!

It is the locals version of Lucky Boy in Pasadena or KJ's in Glendale. Great burgers, oversized orders of sides at a reasonable price. Menu has tons of other options as well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The place could use some upgrades but thats what gives it it's charm with the 1980s styled lettered menus and vinyl seats. My wife was laughing as we enjoyed our Imromptu dinner date as she could see I was enjoying myself as I destroyed my burger and onion rings. We will be back!

Excellent local diner style restaurant with a solid menu. Burgers are huge and very tasty and the fries are deliciously crispy with a good pillowy interior, as all fries should be. Plus the prices are better than most restaurants you’ll find nearby. Worth a try if you’re craving a good burger!

Make sure to speak with GIOVANNA or OLGA because they rock! They are both TERRIFIC PEOPLE! Let me know how the burrito taste!

Kiki and George are terrific people and caring owners. Their long time staff has been loyal and great, as well. Countless first responders from all over were comped for their meals - tens if not hundreds of them during the Woolsey fire. The owners don't boast but give because they care about our community and are just good people.

Great food and service. We come here for lunch somewhat often and it’s always great. I love the chili burger and zucchini fries. Their soft serve is fantastic, vanilla or chocolate, my daughter loves both. Burritos are fantastic, gyro, fish sandwiches. Can’t go wrong!! Local gem.

Excellent food, and always has been. Service is terrible, and always has been. The breakfast burrito in particular is excellent. Usually order the ham and egg burrito with adding onions and bell peppers like a Denver omelette and it is fantastic. Enjoy this place a lot! Much more than the people working it would seem.

It feels like you are stepping back in time to a old school diner with fresh simple food. I had a tuna sandwich and each piece of it was done well from the break to the tomato inside, you could tell each part had been prepared fresh. My mother had the gyro and said that it was fantastic as well. The speed of service was also impressive. 4 star instead of 5 because the dining area needs a bit of love/updating and the customer service was not bad but nothing exceptional either. We will be back again!

I live 5 min away and have been coming here for over 30 years. Consistently good. ONLY complain and its not even really a complaint but they don't offer all day breakfast, but offer all day breakfast burritos. I cant get eggs and bacon on a plate but i can get it in a tortilla? Still very good food and nice staff.

The steak sandwich and pastrami burger are so delicious! Wouldn't recommend the egg and sausage breakfast burrito though. The eggs were overcooked, not plump and fluffy. The service is very good, with pleasant staff.

I get this is a local classic when it comes to burger joints, but I'm not that impressed. The atmosphere is okay, and the staff are nice enough. But for the prices, you would expect the food to be better. A breakfast burrito is $10.50... as much as a chicken burrito. I get inflation, but you're looking at $50 to get breakfast for 4 people. On top of that, they charge a credit card processing fee. I get if using a debt card, but credit card fees are a cost of doing business for the owner. At least disclaim this fee at purchase... or just bake it into the price, it's already high anyway.

I’ve heard nothing but good reviews from people who have gone to this restaurant so my wife and I gave it a try. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with avocado and she ordered a tuna melt. She said the tuna melt was very good. However, my hamburger was terrible. I have never received a hamburger where you could ask the question “where is the beef”. This was the thinnest burger I’ve ever had in 50 years. There was absolutely no value in my burger and honestly a quarter pounder at McDonald’s would’ve been better and the onion rings were full of grease. I would never go back to this restaurant .
