Excellent. Recommended as best in area.
Hands down the brst food in the area!!
Awesome!!
Food and service excellent
Great food
Excellent place for dinner. We loved the music from the 60's and 70's.
Had the best French onion soup, hot wings, and wraps from this place!
Food was very good and so was the service.
We always enjoy the daily specials. The staff does a fantastic job working safely to serve the guests during this current health crisis. And as usual, clean bathrooms for the guests!
We stop there twice in a week for dinner , we were pleased both times. Great food , great Family owned business . A -plus in my book .
This is our favorite restaurant when we visit Lake George. The food is excellent the service is wonderful the menu is diverse. It’s everything we enjoy!
In town for work and needed a quick lunch, excellent clam chowder with French dip. Will definitely order again, before leaving town!!
The restaurant is great and they provided all the food and drink for our wedding. The food was AWESOME. This is a restaurant I would recommend to everyone!
Wife and I were staying at a nearby motel, we saw a menue at the motel, checked reviews and though there were a couple of bad ones there were more good ones, we were seated as soon as we walked in, first in the main dining room, there was a load group, waitress saw the look onmy face, and came right over and moved us to a small less formal dining room, service was great, food was great, it was a nice meal
Food is wonderful and staff is great. Been here 2 times now. VERY good food and staff is great
This has to be one of the most welcoming roadside restaurant! We were hungry on our way from Lake George to Fort Ticonderoga and pulled to stop over. It was almost empty but the smile on face of hostess and chef was full of energy. We loved all the dishes...pasts, pizza and freshly baked bread! Everything was made for us. Will visit again if possible and dine out. Thanks for amazing food that day.
Never disappointed! Great drinks and superb food (mark is a master of the soups so yes you want to add soup to your dinner no matter what the special is!) I tried the Coquille st. Jacques with the Au gratin scallops for the first time tonight and it was absolutely amazing!
Very thankful for this restaurant!!The bars and restaurants in Ticonderoga were closed ( or didn’t serve alcohol) so we called The Emerald II and they opened up their restaurant a couple hours earlier for us! It was a middle point to meet my parents for lunch. The owner Mark was super nice and accommodating. Good food, good Adirondack atmosphere! Highly recommend!!
Best place, best people!! Mark opened early so we could meet up with our daughter and her friend from Vermont. Not knowing they opened later , Mark accommodated us and we had the best time! So appreciated.
Our group of exhausted, hot (temps in the high 90s) and dirty bateaumen (reenactors from a Fort Ticonderoga event) walked in without a reservation and, although the place was fully booked, were somehow all able to be seated and served wonderful food and drinks in a timely manner with many smiles and cheerful service. It really made our day, and we were so grateful!
In town for a visit. Stumbled across this gem! Top notch potato skins and the Emeralds Rueben! Huge sandwich, great quality, too much for the wife to eat! Wished I lived here! Love this place! Go Red Sox!
Only went there for drinks , they were good ,very good bar tender. Our server was excellent. Dont know about food but what other people had looked good.

Great food! The service was very friendly but lack some attentiveness.
Great food and a friendly staff. The stuffed shells is my new go to dish.
Great place! The lobster and shrimp au gratin is perfect.
Probably the best restaurant in Ticonderoga. Great onion rings.
We enjoyed a nice soup and sandwich lunch. They were both well prepared and tasty. I would return, a nice menu.
We dined outside on deck weather was perfect and Mandy and Alexis were great to accommodate our large party with grace.
Food was delicious (eggplant parm). Slight error on my order and slow service were my only issues.
My Seafood Scampi over Linguini was delicious, drinks were fantastic and service was on point. Thank you.
I have to say they do a great job with kids, they brought our daughter two full coloring books, a glow-stick wand and more to keep her entertained. That is a nice touch for what is definitely a family friendly space. Food was a mixed bag, 2 of our entrees were good and 2 (both involving seafood) weren't the best. The lobster was cooked to the point of being crispy. The App's and other two pasta dishes our party had were very good however. A good place for families with kids!
We were happily surprised. We were in the area and needed dinner. There really wasn't anywhere else open in the area. We expected a quick sandwich and leave. Ended up with a delicious steak dinner with huge portions. Cooked perfectly. All 4 of us were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly as were the locals that we encountered. We would definitely stop there again if we are in the area. Easy parking. Outside dining available
Good food - several different dishes of something for everyone. Friendly service and GREAT drinks - if you know what I mean! We've been there a couple of times and will likely go back again.
The food was great. Took awhile to get our food. The waitress was great and did her best working alone on a busy night.

Fried items were frozen out of a box. Sandwiches were fabulous.
Food is okay. Prices are a bit high for the quality and portions served.
Food was average..... Waitress wasnt the best.
They were off tonight, they've usually at least 4.5 ☆. Orders were confused, service to table was slow, and some of the food was not to their usual standard. Willing to bet next time will be better.
It was ok….Not many choices in Ticonderoga. Staff very nice but service was a bit slow. Brought us wrong salads. Pizza was ok. On th upside…the beer was cold
Excellent food. Excellent service. 1 year later..... 2022 ....Not the same. Very slow service, never came for a drink refill. Food took a long time. Some people loved their food ... The other half were disappointed. We went twice in 2021 during our weeks vacation. This year we went once..... Once to many. Very disappointing.

Wait staff were friendly but service was slow to non-existant. There on Memorial day weekend Saturday night, restaurant was full but not more than 100 people. Apparently too much for this small town eatery to handle. Food, when it finally came, was delicious though.
Food was good. However they had only one waitress. She could only handle just so much. Also at this time they don't have a liquor license. But should have it soon.

The beer is cold
Overall, OK I guess, but how many of you have had “Ground Fish” in Fish Taco’s, and not even with a soft tortilla? Emeralds II is a far cry from the Sentinel Grille (R.I.P.). Hello Angus Burgers from the Ti Walmart for the rest of the month. Saddening...
Just not good overall and prices are out of sight high. Do not recommend!
Food was very good. Service was very slow. Understaffed, undertrained or inexperienced - not sure. Hard to get a second beer or even a refill o our water. Very disappointed.
Yuck. Elderly hostess is not pleasant either.
Closed...
Great food, unforgivably bad service. I've never left a restaurant so furious and disappointed. Never again.
steak was tough and dried out prices to high for portions
Ordered a swiss burger with mushrooms. Asked for medium well. Came out over cooked and the bun was burned. The only excuse given was it wasn't the regular chef. No offer to make another burger, or take it off the bill. Not pleased with the way it was handled. Could have made things right.
Kitchen very slow over an hour still did not get our steaks, a customer that arrived 20 minutes after got there entre before us. Paid for drinks and left.
We have loved this restaurant in the past but this visit was a miss. Soup was cold, not a big problem. We returned it, it was heated and it was delicious! Cream of tomato & crab. We ordered the scallop basket. Scallops were burned. Really black & burned! We both agreed we should have sent them back. My husband couldn't finish his & threw them away when we got home. I finished mine but I don't know why. They were awful. I couldn't figure out why the chef didn't know they were burned!
We have always been big fans of Emeralds. It's pretty much our go-to restaurant when we're not grilling in the nicer weather. Yesterday, we had a terrible experience. There were two tables seated outside, and two gentlemen eating at the bar. It took an hour and a half for us to have lunch, which consisted of French onion soup, chicken tenders, and a Reuben sandwich. The waitress was horrible. She preferred to spend her time talking with the guys at the bar as opposed to waiting on her tables. I had to go inside to get my check, and when I went to hand it back to her with my credit card, she all of a sudden had to go outside to check on her table. She ignored that I was handing her my credit card, and left me waiting at the bar. She returned from outside, rang out my purchase, and continued talking to the guys. When I handed her back the signed receipt complete with a tip over 20% because I'm sympathetic to the times even though she was the worst, she didn't even acknowledge our patronage with a simple thank you. She kept right on talking to the other customers and ignored me completely. Rude, and terrible at her job, unless that job only entails chatting with select customers. Normally, the servers at Emeralds are attentive and outstanding. This was clearly a college kid home for the summer.
HORRIBLE service and food. It was very hot for starters in the restaurant. They could not find a kid's menu. The service was slow, drinks were not brought out, no napkins. We asked for ranch and blue cheese and never received either. The steaks were horrible, with absolutely no au jus with bad texture and taste. They were out of filet and broccoli by 6. They substituted corn without asking. The pizza was burnt beyond recognition. The steaks was not medium rare and the cook / owner was very rude basically bringing the steak back out and saying to eat it there was nothing wrong with it. The waitress was rude. The worst part is they served a 3 year old raw chicken. How could you trust the rest of the food that did not taste good.
Unfortunately they were short staffed with no bartender. Although our server was doing her best it was substandard. We waited 25 minutes for drinks and were never served our soup, salad and rolls. Although my filet was tender and cooked perfectly it was served to me with drizzled with a broken, tasteless hollandaise (that looked similar to baby poo) instead of the bernaise. The pilaf was dry and bland and everything (including the carrots were cold. My friends meal was also very disappointing. The NY strip was overdone and very tough and the pasta was overcooked,, dry and tasteless as well. I'd also like to point out that 3 tables that arrived at least 15 minutes after us were served first. It was definitely a waste of 2 1/2 hours.
To be honest we been their many times. Great food fast service. But tonight service well I'll be nice and jus say slow food took forever to get to our table . Place wasn't packed I would have understood. And could have used the garlic bread for a hockey puck... Won't go back ....
It was an awful experience. We went to Emeralds II for a late lunch in August 2020. We were the only two people in the restaurant. Once we placed the order ... I’m not kidding here ... we waited more than 45 minutes for our food to arrive. While we waited we got to listen to the solitary server sorting silverware at a nearby table and a large fly buzzing around the room. When my salad arrived the grilled chicken was overdone and flavorless.
