Was really happy to have stumbled into this wine bar after having dinner nearby. When we arrived it was about 6:30 so we were able to get seats at the bar. The woman bartender (her name is escaping me) was very helpful and poured us some samples so we could choose the right wine. We decided to split another glass and her pour was very generous. The overall vibe was very cool, relaxed and super civilized. Toluca Lake itself is special, particularly in this part of town, and this wine bar is one of the reasons for this. The prices were very reasonable as well.
This is such an awesome spot to meet friends or work colleagues, and to stock your wine cooler! Be sure to get empanadas and salad from Puerto Rican Eats. The inside is lively, but mid-century modern cool. There’s also patio and sidewalk seating. Hannah and Ariel will help you find what suits your palate (and they also play great tunes). If Doug the owner is in, you’re in for a treat!

This is the 2d time I'm using Spin the Bottle for wine delivery (locally) to a friend. Both time, the team was super helpful in picking wines for her (that she really enjoyed!), it was fast and easy. And the 2d time Hanna was super nice and went above an beyond in wrapping up and putting the birthday surprise together ! Thank you!! Highly recommend.

Wines are all top notch, with a wide variety available. New bottles are in all the time, and there are wines on tap. Service is terrific. The staff work hard and know their stuff.
Great ambiance! Place is bright with a lot of natural light, great music, not loud and disturbing. Just sip on a glass of wine and enjoy. Great selection of wines and some beers. The girl at the bar was also very sweet and kind. Great experience overall! Will definitely recommend and come back on a regular basis.
I have a specific scale I use when rating any restaurant I go to. Three things: atmosphere, food quality/price, and service. I have to say this place was a gem. I live right down the road and the we got there it had a nice intimate light setting with a tastefully decorated interior. Not a very large shop but it's perfect to come in and sample some wine and talk with the bar tender before making your purchase. Service was great he was friendly and knowledgeable about all the wines there. Price wasn't bad and the wine was good as well. All in all I'd give this place a 8.9/10 on the Seth scale.
Great curated wine selection with options for consumption on site or vitreous to go. Focus is on quality locals, eclectic and accessible imports with no giant cellar full of $1000 premier-crus. Staff are unerringly friendly and knowledgeable. It's your comfy neighborhood wine bar.

Rude! I followed directions and waited outside far the bartender to let me know if there was an available seat for me to order. I waited patiently but was ignored. Then I yelled in to her to ask if there was a seat available, and she says yes. It would have been nice to have acknowledged in the first place. I go in and sit down. And I wait some more. I wait while she carries on a conversation with the lady at the other end of the bar who already had a drink. I welcome, how are you, do you know what you want to drink. So I got up and left. Then she has the nerve to say have a nice night. You can say good bye but not hello or try to earn my business.
