We ordered online tonight, on its opening day. It was so busy inside and there were so many online orders coming through- and the staff were working hard through it all! I think however long I had waited to pick up my order was totally reasonable 😁. The staff behind the counter were friendly, calm, and seemed to work well together. It looked like they had a good system going! The place was immaculate ✨ and I love the black-white-green color scheme. There is plenty of seating (booths, high tops, and barrel chairs). Everything looks really nice in the venue. The menu… oh my gosh. So many options that look amazing. We tried Nashville-hot cauliflower and grilled chicken in bowls for our first visit. Food tasted fresh and flavorful. Another review compared it to Chipotle (which is fair as many of the free topping options read similar). It is definitely a fast casual restaurant (in the same class as Burger Fi, B. GOOD, Moe’s/Chipotle etc.) and I’m down to visit again soon!

I’ve been ordering from this wonderful restaurant for months, and everything has always been spot on with taste. Occasionally I’ve had some orders where a drink is missing but I’m not entirely sure if it’s them or DoorDash/ Grubhub. The quesadillas, nachos, and bowls are all great choices.

I ordered food from here through DoorDash looking for a quesadilla to eat. I was very hesitant when I saw the prices, I ended up ordering the the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp Dilla with Mango Habenero and their Quesofries. Let me tell you, I was not prepared for what was to come. It was like an Orgasm in my mouth, I had to smoke three cigarettes afterwords and my body was still trembling from the experience. I will definitely be ordering from here again and make sure that I have a towel for afterwords as the Dilla is loaded with flavor that pours out. Thank you Bubbakoo's for a great night, you are amazing and can't wait to have this experience again.

Super friendly staff and amazing food! They have a million different combinations and a large variety of protein to choose from. Blows larger chain competitors out of the water (especially locally). The food is always fresh and you get a large portion for the price. They have interesting new menu items that other burrito places lack (like the chiwawa, general tso tacos, love chips). Can’t say enough good things!

Food tastes amazing, there is a lot of choice for a chipotle clone, and the portions are very good for the price. Fries could be crispier though. The service is a bit disorganized/slow, they charged for 2x chicken when we got 1x, and the floor/tables are very dirty though.

In town for work and we just stopped in Bubbakoo's Burritos, not only is the signage EYE-CATCHING but we were warmly welcomed by Isah who helped us build the perfect bowl. This place is QUITE LITERALLY the best Mexican Fusion/ southwest grill EVER, Chipotle and Moe's WHO? Isah was notnonly patient with us and we questioned EVERY item available to add to our bowl as we have never been to Bubbakoo's but the Manager, Anthony, also helpfully chimed in offering suggestions and without being inconvenienced at all read us every sauce option to perfectly too our bowls, WITH A SMILE! And even checked on us as we were eating to make sure the food was up to our standards! The associate AND Manager exhibit EXEMPLARY customer service and CLEARLY deserve to be VALUED! Great experience and we are here for 3 days before heading home but will ENSURE that anytime we are in town for business we stop in Bubbakoo's Burritos! Great service, GREAT FOOD!

I ordered delivery and there was a mishap where half of my order left with the delivery driver and the rest still at the restaurant. I was able to contact the driver who went back for the order. And Bubbakoo's staff remade the order so we would have hot food delivered. They also hooked us up with a delicious, free desert for the inconvenience. Things don't always go smoothly, and without placing any blame in a confusing situation - the Bubbakoo's staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our order. Everything was great! , Kudos all around!!!

My husband and I ordered food to go. He ordered a premade burrito annd unbeknownst to him- sauce was spicy. Unfortunately due to a health condition he cannot eat spicy food so we took a chance went back in and they no questions asked made him some thing that worked for him.Cool atmosphere, great food, great service.

We have seen this place for a while. Decided to stop today.... We should have stopped a while ago. Great food great price.

We ordered dinner delivered to our son while we were away. DoorDash was to have delivered it. A driver was there and then left with no explanation. DoorDash canceled my order. I called the store to ask what could be done. A sweet young woman very professionally answered my call, put me on hold for a few seconds. When she came back she let me know that a manager would be delivering the meal for us. 20 minutes later the food was at my house just as I had ordered. I am beyond impressed with the customer service at this restaurant.

They were packed tonight and we waited about an hour beyond the time that our food was supposed to be ready. That was a bummer. But I think it's because y'all dropped a BOGO coupon and didn't warn anyone. I saw several employees come rushing in and get right to work. And while there was stress they all stayed as level headed as they could. They gave free entree coupons and fountain drinks to people. They honestly deserve everything and more. I love this location and will be going back but they need a better system for their online tickets when things like this happen for everyone's benefit.

I have to sat this place was great. I truly love Chipotle and Moe's but after eating here I may have a new favorite. They have a good section of different types of burritos 🌯 and the service was great. The girls were a bit busy with online orders but handled themselves like pros. Loveee this place so much. First time ordering and it was spectacular. Super authentic and amazing food. Ordered pickup and my boyfriend and I each got the Chiwawa Barbacoa combos. So amazing. The only thing I would change is requesting no cilantro for mine next time. I’m not a fan at all of cilantro (I’m part of the 25% of the population that it tastes like soap.) thats on me though for not mentioning it. They only add some on top of the food as a garnish.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while but haven’t had the time so I decided to have it delivered and I’m so bummed I didn’t try this earlier because it’s the such a great taco salad I’ve had in a long time 😭 you got so much for what you pay for as well and the ingredients were super fresh.

This is a great place to go for a quick bite. The portions are big so you don't need to order as much as you usually do. It has snack size food, share food, normal hungry and starving portions of food. If you're feeling snacky, I suggest poppers. If you're feeling like you could eat a horse, I suggest the Burritodilla. All the food is good, and the people are friendly. There is Tofu for those who are vegetarian, but I don't know how well it would be if you're vegan..

The deals and food are better than Chipotle! 2 for $22 (including chips, salsa, and drinks!) is an amazing deal. Love the edible taco bowl!

My husband and I ordered here for the first time. Holy wow the food is so good! Got here fast and HOT super fresh. I had Bubbakoo's catered through my job a few times and they were always good so I decided to try it tonight from home and it was delicious. I got the crispy birria tacos with chips and guacamole the order came with 3 very large tacos stuffed with super tender perfectly seasoned birria meat and the consume that came with was just as delectable. My fiancé got a crispy chicken burrito with ranch and corn salsa and he had that gone in 2 min flat. Let's not forget desert we got the love chips with the raspberry drizzle those were delicious but the mini churros were our favorite. 1,000,000/10 recommend. 🥰😋

People ask me all the time if its better than chipotle, my best answer is: its different. The service is light-years better than any service I've ever had at any chipotle in the country. The workers here are absolutely phenomenal, this is over the course of several visits over the last couple of years. The food is better in a lot of ways than chipotle, but simply different in other ways. Either way I highly recommend bubbakoo's!

I saw a billboard advertisement for this place while watching baseball on TV. I didn't think there was one in the area, but there it is! Located in Troy NY diagonally from Hudson Valley Community College! This place has a wide selection of different options from Burritos to Quesadillas to nachos. They even have a variety of options for curly fries. Everyone I encountered here was very friendly. The food was great! You have to order the Boardwalk cookies with Raspberry sauce!! They were amazingly scrumptious! I highly recommend this place! Skip Taco Bell and head over to Bubbakoo's Burritos!

Delicious food with a very wide range of options for tacos, burritos, quesadillas and the like. I've been here several times and have gotten a variety of items ranging from more "traditional" choices that you might find at a competitor to some of their more eclectic offerings like the Gochujang Mang burrito in my photo. They also offer a couple of dessert options, which are all excellent. Bubbakoo's is a welcome departure from the typical fast-casual Mexican offerings while still delivering the essentials if that's what you're looking for!

I used to go to chipotle or other taco places, then I tried bubbakoo's and I haven't went anywhere else but here since!! UPDATE: I threw a birthday party and had Bubbakoo's Burritos cater it....AMAZING!!! Everything was ready on time and the owner personally came out and said if we need anything to just call and they'd bring it to me. They provided everything I needed including utensils to serve the food with. Everyone loved the tacos!!!!

I was feeling sad and nostalgic. Missing my favorite burrito place Bombers. As I was driving down Route 4 amazed by all the development around Hudson Valley Community College, I notice this little place in the plaza. I wanted a really good burrito, and Bubbakoo's exceeded my expectations. They are like Hot Harrys in which you choose what you want in your burrito or whatever you order. They have other items on the menu including something called a Chiwawa, which I will try another time. Anyway I ordered the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp burrito which included rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and topped with General Zaos sauce. Simply delicious. I guess they have been around since 2008, and I never knew. I crown Bubbakoo's the new burrito king of the capital district.

UPDATED: manager reached out and made it right. Was always delicious and I am looking forward to getting my (correct) order when I order online next! original: This is the second time my order has been significantly wrong. Didn’t get the extra steak (I know it’s less because I order same thing every time) and missing the pico de gallo. The burrito was like half lettuce. The photo makes it look better than it was… and that’s saying something. :-/ Disappointed and Dissatisfied, this will be our last repeat order.

My son likes the food here and he’s pretty picky so for that I’m giving 4 stars and a thank you. I’d give 5 but the whenever he gets the curly fries they are either really good or really meh(near cold and mostly inedible) if they could make those to order instead of ahead of time I think that would be an easy fix. Also allow for air to escape when packing hot, fried food so it doesn’t go soggy so fast. He always gets a plain cheese quesadilla; nothing fancy but it’s his thing, it’s always got a good amount of cheese and is nice and crispy. Staff is friendly and upbeat; out of the handful of times we’ve been in to pick up I’ve never had a bad experience and they keep the place spotless!

The staff is very friendly and the food taste good. I realized when I got home they accidentally put the shredded pork instead of the shredded chicken on my bowl. I’m not a big fan of pork in general but it tasted delicious.Overall you should give them a try, I will be going back for sure!

The food is pretty darn good for being a line prep style restaurant. Haven't had a bad meal yet. The management and owners are often there, but based on the general demeanor of the staff I'm not sure that's a good thing. The service and the staff are great, I'll certainly be back. I just kinda wish the mood of the restaurant was less... Awkward. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

*Edited* New review: I came back in to get the free burrito I was offered. The food is pretty good without being coated in corn syrup. I do feel like I am missing some spice but I didn't want to try any of the other sauces out of fear for sugar. I really appreciate the staff and the owner being willing to make this right, and I will likely be back when I'm craving a burrito for lunch. Original review:The mango habanero sauce is AWFUL. It tastes like neither mango nor habanero, it tastes like someone doused my burrito in corn syrup. I wish I knew if the rest of the food was awful or not but I can't taste anything other than this disgusting sauce. It literally tastes like Chinese takeout duck sauce. Who would want to eat a sweet burrito. Who. Who wanted this. Who asked for this.

The restaurant was well cleaned and the staff greeted our group as we entered the restaurant. The staff was great at getting our order and getting the food out quick and efficiently. The food itself was amazing, I always get the nachos with the works, the portion sizes are great for the amount of money you pay. I highly recommend you try bubbakoos if you are in the area.

The food is really good. I love the beef empanadas. However, I couldn’t overlook the fact that the young lady who was serving us use the same gloves to wrap our burrito that she had on while cleaning the counter off and she also had her hands on hips. Reinforcement of proper hand hygiene may be all they need but overall the place was nice, food was great, as well as location.

This place is very clean, personable, and welcoming. The food was ok and seemed healthy, whether it is or not, since online I saw the calories to be high. I did enjoy the food, I had a chicken bowl with brown rice with added cilantro and onions. I would get that again and would like to try other things.

First time visiting this place. Food - The food was good. Some good options; tasted good and would eat it again, maybe at a different location. Service - Big concerns here. Manager (blonde lady) was making a scene in the middle of the dining room, arguing over the phone with a customer. Ended the conversation with asking the customer to “go take a nap”. I work in customer service so I get that people can be a bit out of touch but come on, you can have the conversation in the back, away from other paying customers. Definitely made me want to leave. Atmosphere. - Place looked clean and well kept. Overall the experience was just very uncomfortable due to the manager, but their food was okay.

The food is okay, nothing that makes me want to go back. For the most part, the service is good. However, while in line, my family and I heard some whispers about customer orders. Also, my family member was given someone else's food. While all she did was open it without touching or even breathing on it, it was given to the customer who ordered it without being made over. I know my family member did nothing to the food, but if I were the other customer, I would've expected a fresh meal that wasn't opened by someone else.

Nice sized burritos, but they go a little heavy on the rice. I ordered the grilled chicken burrito with white rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, queso, cilantro, and Chipotle crema. I first time I ordered it, it was delicious, the last couple times the chicken was a bit too salty. I would like to try some of the other proteins in the future. I wish they offered yellow rice and refried beans, maybe something to consider.

Cold chicken on the burritos don't suggest this place if you're looking for quality. Quantity was good if you're just looking to fill your stomach with anything. Also got boneless wings all bread no chicken. Was really excited to try this place but definitely won't be back. There's was better places in the area for burritos

Edit: Got very sick within an hr of eating on 4/29/25 not coming back any time soon. Owner did reach out to explain their First in first out policies. I am a Nurse of 20yrs I think I know what it means to get sick from something I ate. Eat at your own risk! They used to be one of my faves in the area. Even when they are busy they are better than chipotle 100% I’m never going back to Chipotle they never have fajita veggies & the food isn’t as fresh there anymore.!!

My wife and I stopped in to pickup a couple of burritos for dinner. This was our third visit to this restaurant-the first two visits being positive. Tonight’s meal was a different experience with our food not prepared well, and human hairs on the burrito shell. I can’t promise that I will return to this restaurant…..though I would really like to see them succeed.

First time customer, I went there to check it out. I asked about what a first timer should order, and I didn't get a positive response from the workers there. I ordered a burrito with crispy chicken and white rice. The chicken portion was small and unseasoned, and the rice was completely devoid of flavor. It was mushy. Additionally, I asked for black beans, and the line server asked for a new pan, scraped the bottom of the pan on the line to fill my burrito and wrapped it up. I didn't think the food was worth it.

Charged us for added guac on veggie entrees. It was my first time here, and I thought it was odd to be charged the same amount as a chicken burrito with guac but without the meat, so I said something about it, but the cashier didn't acknowledge me. We paid and left. Then found out by looking at an online order that we got charged $6 extra.

Typically I never have an issue but for some reason both items in my order were incorrect. I'm not sure if it's a new crew or I have to watch my items be made.

I went to this place when they first opened and it was delicious. My girlfriend and I placed a to go order tonight and both got burritos. Our food was done and they took so long to get it to us that it was cold. We were early to pick up. My girlfriend’s chicken was pink. My girlfriend went inside to get the food and one of the workers was touching his nose and itching his beard with his gloves on then continuing to handle food. I will NEVER eat here ever again. Kudos to the girl that cashed my gf out, she gave her a free meal card for waiting so long. But other than that, we will not be returning, the food was atrocious and to think someone like who I mentioned above could have cooked it, made me not even want to eat it.

It was literally just rice. I ordered the vegan lifestyle burrito with pico, corn salsa, black beans, and guacamole and I received a rice roll with a hint of toppings. It was also very small for the price. Hands down the worst burrito of my life.

This is my final and last time ordering . We order once a week on door dash spend over 80 dollars everyone and get no salsa with our order i have complained 3 times i have paid extra for salsa and i still don’t get it . I don’t now understand why you guys refuse to send salsa in our order even when im paying extra .And this is what i get on my carnitas quesadilla great portion of meat thanks

Chips are horrible. No salt or anything they tasted like oil. Steak over cooked or super chewy grade meat. Rice was hard and clumpy. Overall I'd say skip this place and go to Chipotle or the local Mexican restaurants in troy over this spot. But I'd like to hear your thoughts

Ate 3/4 of a burrito, I had to ask my wife what was supposed to be In it other than rice and cheese?! Then lo and behold the rest of the burrito had (2) two 3/4” x 3/8” PIECES of meat! Save your money. To see they have a catering menu 😂 👎👎👎👎

Ordered two post workout bowls and it was the saddest bowls ever skipped on meat and toppings and now due to corporate it doesn’t come with rice just a dumb amount of sauce paid 40 dollars for this absolutely not will never get another dime of my money t

Gave this place another chance after a year away—huge mistake. Still filthy, and everyone working there looks horrific and completely unprofessional. Employees handling food were unkempt, covered in pet hair, and clearly ignoring basic hygiene. I watched workers wiping their noses numerous times and coughing into their hands while prepping food. After one bite, I found a long black hair in my bowl. No refund was offered—just a remake under the same unsanitary conditions. I threw it out and left. Absolutely disgusting. Never returning.

Walked in December 15, 2025 at 8:40PM. I was advised by the 3 young ladies working that they were done serving food at that point. I walked up to the make line, to verify. I reiterated, that you guys close at 9, to which they responded but we shut down 30 minutes prior. I’m 100% sure the owners wouldn’t go for that. Very frustrating & disappointing because I love your steak & shrimp bowls. Only the way out one of the young ladies stated “he really walked up here to verify” & they crew all laughed. Going forward, I’ll just go to chipotle & continue to share my experience with co workers & family in the capital region to avoid this location.

Food is very fresh and good. Unfortunately, when grub hub didn’t deliver my food, the worker speaking to in person at the establishment was extremely rude, disrespectful, and did not uphold the promise made to rectify the incorrect/non delivered order. This was my second time ordering from them, first time was perfectly fine, 8/10, but the customer service representative was lifeless, rude, and didn’t live up to promises made beforehand. *Disclaimer: Person spoken with on phone vs at establishment worker were different individuals. Man on phone was polite and accommodating. Employee at establishment was the opposite.

Last time coming here. Got a bowl, all they had was chicken and very old ground beef. Ended up getting the chicken, but the rice was so old it was clumped together, not really edible. The chicken was dry from being old. Chipotle has it's off days depending on the staff, but this was a new low for a basic bowl. I can tell why they would probably prefer you order online based on the walk in set up. Go anywhere else.

First visit to this establishment and my last. The staff were very efficient dealing with online orders and walk-ins. All staff wore gloves , most even changed multiple times. One male was the exception ,with extreme fake nails longer than any I have ever seen. This server was observed taking tortillas and flicking them on a hot grill off to the side of the counter, loading containers with rice and beans ,without gloves, as he wiped his face numerous times, an then proceeded to text on his phone. The area behind the counter was soiled with food on the counters, as well as the grill and floors. Sad for the hard workers in this establishment, management should be more active.

I was excited to try bubbakoos since they have sociality burritos. When I got home I bit into my burrito and it was mostly rice. This will be my only time trying this place. There are other options in the area that are better.

Don’t do it. This place is gross. Don’t do it. They need to shut down. This is not what I order. They have things on the menu that they don’t even know what they are putting pineapples into the meal and call a pineapple salsa does not make a pineapple salsa. I’m disappointed. And I want my money back
