Winter in Chico is hard on local golf courses. Being able to come in and swing the sticks and have a drink or two with your friends is a huge benefit.

We were celebrating my daughter's 21st. We made reservations by a quick call. Signed the insurance waiver online before we even got there. Walked in and was quickly greeted. We paid for the hour and some drinks and received the safety and how to throw an axe training all within 10 minutes. Ladies be sure to bring closed toe shoes or you will need to borrow some big ol work boots. They were clean but they didn't work with every fit. 😋 The place was clean and the staff was super friendly. What a great place to hang out and have some drinks with friends while chucking sharp things at the wall. I couldn't recommended this place enough. Not into throwing axes? How about a golf simulator, pool, darts, grown up Jenga, video games?

My first time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We threw hatchets and had a lot of fun. My only concern is that I originally made reservations for 3 adults and 2 children for happy hour. The children didn't end up coming and I believe I got charged for them anyhow and didn't get the happy hour rate either. Probably as a result of a shift change. I will check back in to sort it out. Otherwise a good time! UPDATE: The owner reached out and clarified my bill and concerns. I was charged the proper amount. Add outstanding customer service to the whole experience! I will be back!

Now this is an interesting place! Group of us went. Made reservations, paid in advance. $20 per person for an hour is the basic plan. Maximum 5 people. 13 yrs and up. You throw real axes at a target! Place was packed. Watching is free. Everyone who enters must wear closed toe shoes! Other games to play too. Serve snacks, drinks and BEER! Kinda funny to me, serving alcohol to people with axes! Lots of employees walking around all the time as well.

First time here, and it will not be the last. Arianna was an awesome host, and clearly, she is a great owner! This is a place where you can hang with the homies or hang with the family! Although my crew didn't last long this is definitely a place where you could spend hours trying everything she has to offer! So much fun!

A great place to unwind, enjoy good music and have fun. The axe-throwing is only the beginning, they also have pool, darts, simulators, cornhole, air hockey, all kinds of cool stuff to play with. If you're looking for something to do in Chico, the Hatchet House has you covered. The new Full Swing golf simulator they just installed is awesome, the overhead camera finally showed me just what I've been doing wrong all these years! Super reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere = fun for the whole family. I highly recommend dropping by!

We were looking for something to do in Chico and someone said HatchetHouse. The place looked amazing, the new building is way bigger and much nicer. The axe throwing was fun and the staff friendly, as usual. They have a lot more things to do now, we played pool and darts besides the axe throwing, and the staff let us try out their new sports simulator. My son loved the soccer games, I'm sure we'll be renting it for his next birthday party! Definitely a lot of fun for the whole family, with very reasonable prices. Would go back again 👍

We rented the back area for a birthday party and they went above and beyond. I remembered after hitting reserve that the party package included balloons so I emailed them asking for either no balloons or latex free due to having a moderate allergy. They immediately went and ordered foil balloons to ensure we were able to have a great time. They were incredibly accommodating and patient with us. This was the second year we held a birthday party there and we have not been disappointed.

The staff were great. They made checking in easy. They were responsive to the needs of our group and always ready to assist. The multitude of entertainment options was a big plus. It's not just throwing hatchets, though that would be enough. Pool, darts, air hockey and the virtual sports are such fun.

The Hatchet House in Chico is one of my family’s favorite places to go! The atmosphere is always great, the employees are amazing, and the beer selection never disappoints. The golf simulator is a total hit and fun for everyone! Highly recommend for a great time with family or friends.

We did the package deal with two beers and two throwers and a lane for 45 minutes. It also came with 2 bonus beers at Ramble West. It was a great deal. Staff was friendly, the new location is nice and more spacious. The projector games add variety and make the game more fun.

My wife and I had a great time at the Hatchet House. We played virtual golf and switched over to play some virtual soccer as well. The simulator was easy to navigate and the service was very friendly. Dylan took care of us and he was very helpful, service with a smile. They had good air flow in the facility which I thought was nice since we came in on a 100+ degree day. Overall it was a great time.

This is such a neat place — like an arcade that lets you throw weapons (they have more than axes to throw). And they’ll even let you use your own axe (I was able to use the axe I so happen to keep in my truck). Michael is THE BEST. He’s so welcoming and helpful. If you’ve never been here, it can be a bit intimidating, at first, with the entire set-up. Yet, Michael helped my friends and I both times we’ve been in — and he has added to the fun, each time; and is excellent at guiding on how to have better aim and results. This is such a neat spot to do something different, and 100% worth checking out. Also, they don’t serve food, though, serve drinks (water, beer, soda) — however, they have zero issue with food being brought into the establishment, from my experience. Thanks for such a fun time, Hatchet House. My friends and I had a blas. 🎯🪓⛏️
