I usually frequent Huddle House for breakfast, only. But for today, I dined in for lunch. Grilled Chicken with mash potatoes and salad, including the brown gravy was pretty tasty. Thanks to my server Melissa.

From the moment I entered the place I was made to feel at home. The staff were full of smiles and good cheer. And very attentive to my desires. The food was served HOT and visually appealing. The price was fair for the amount and quality of the meal. I WILL BE BACK!!! My only regret is I did not get a picture of the meal.

During my stay in Abilene, I google searched a Waffle House but did not find any. Huddle House was the next best option, and to my surprise surpassed my expectations in both the food and service. Although I over heard that they were under staffed, our server went above and beyond to providing us with exceptional service. Our food arrived in a timely manner, and our drinks were refilled before they even finished. Definitely recommend!! Edit to add, that it's my new breakfast favorite spot whenever there is one available.

Rhonda was our fabulous waitress & we didn't want for anything. She was so sweet & gracious to us. Even bringing refills without us asking for them. We ordered breakfast & everything was delicious. From the pancakes to the eggs, hashbrowns & even the wonderful gravy....the coffee...excellent. We will definitely be back!! If you've not eaten here, you really should come out to Tye and try it out...I don't think you will be disappointed!

This was my first time eating here. The food was amazing, our waitress was outstanding…. But my most favorite was the TEA!! I’m an avid tea drinker! And this was probably the best tea I have had in last several years.

We’re visiting from Illinois and stopped by the Huddle House for breakfast—ended up coming back the next morning because we loved it so much! The food was delicious, but what really made it special was Rhonda. She was absolutely wonderful! So friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. We don’t get service like that everywhere, so it really stood out to us. Thank you, Rhonda, for making our mornings so great!

Service was fast and food was great I ordered the works it was great wish I could re eat the food. Nobody else was really in there but I guess it kind of added to the atmosphere. Rhonda was great!!

I started coming to the Tye location over a year ago and there aren’t many weekends I’ve missed. Everyone takes real good care of me when I’m here. The food is always hot and fresh. If something ever is incorrect they fix it FAFB. Esma treats me especially well. I think she has a thing for me. A year and a half ago I made a change in my life and I’ve implemented this as one of my traditional breakfast spots on the weekends. I’ve found a lot of love and caring at this place. Somehow is been a place of healing in my life. I’m grateful.

Really good breakfast! Everything we got from here was gone! Ordered on DoorDash and got to the hotel quickly and was still hot! The portion sizes are really good (my daughters kids pancake was the size of the whole container). I got the French toast and some tater tots - all really good! Husband got a waffle with hasbrowns and bacon and our dog enjoyed the eggs! The cheese sticks are super good too! Pretty good breakfast all around.

Stopped into huddle house for the first time today. We were greeting by sweet older ladies and waited on promptly. The food was good and filling. We will be back again.

To me, it doesn’t matter whether it’s morning, noon or night, it’s always breakfast time! The menu is huge, and the service is always great. If you join their email Club, you collect points for free food, which is always a good thing! Every so often, they put out coupons, which is what we use tonight. A $14 breakfast for $8. That’s a steal! It’s always good food, so I never have anything to complain about. You should give them a try!

Was excited for some in my party to visit their first Huddle House. The staff were so very attentive and kept the coffee cups filled! The food was okay. Not quite as stellar as I’ve had at other HHs. I’d go back. The service made all the difference.

My husband and I eat here all the time. Here as of late we've had major issues. Our food came cold (my grits were so cold the butter didnt melt and its whipped)the waitress didn't listen to get our order correct. She had to take our drink back to fix it items we ordered she forgot. We ordered a waffle togo emphasizing on on our way out bring it. NOPE she bought it out before we even got our food to eat there. The pancakes looked like frozen store bought.Also she avoided us because of her lack of understanding. We eat here so often we had 490 pionts and decided to use them and got yreated as if beggers lol crazy.We miss the staff that cared. No tip was left and we usually tip very well because life is life. I hope things get better its my favorite diner.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived. The staff were nice and appropriately attentive. Credit card machine was down which was easily circumvented by writing a check. The stuffed hash browns were as expected and delicious. The skillet meal literally has two slices of cheese on top that didn’t fully melt and also more sauce than our liking. I would not highly recommend the place yet would stop here for somewhere to eat if driving through town.

What can I say? We arrived we sat down took forever for someone to take her drink order and the drinks came out wrong. Order cheese sticks as for ranch twice and finally on the third time we got the ranch. We all ordered our food at the same time everybody got their food except for one person and then we waited another 10 minutes for that person to get their food. Just an overall bad experience.

My husband and I took our grandchildren out to eat here for breakfast and it was awful. We had to wait for 30 minutes after we ordered to get our food and it was cold. My pancakes were like rubber and my husband's eggs had a hair in them. We never got checked on and no refills. I asked for syrup and never got any. I will never be going back!
