I love this location. I ordered my food to go and the coupon didn’t take. The staff was very nice and went to the manager. The manager was very nice and took care of the situation quickly ensuring that I was satisfied. He even made my food himself to make sure I was pleased and would come back. It’s nice here and I will come back soon. Come check them out.
We stopped in for a low-carb lunch and enjoyed a spicy chicken salad. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and our salads were just right.
Drinks were amazing & mozzarella sticks were best I'd ever had. The appetizer trio was decent, but service was great so really no complaints!
Susanna was out waitress and she was fantastic. All of the staff were very sweet, accommodating, and attentive. Even though it was clearly very busy we were sat fairly quickly and managed to grab a quick bit before heading to the movies. Also, the guacamole was surprisingly good. Very fresh and seasoned well.
The 3 of us got pick 3 appetizers with sliders, chicken strips and southwest egg rolls, queso dip, and burger and fries. Also salad and potato souo, with the special margaritas. It was all so good!! The meat on the burger and sliders is great!
The food was delicious and the waitstaff were very attentive.
Today is my birthday, so we came to Chili’s. I am allergic to dairy, and I was nervous about the food I ordered, so the manager was so accommodating and allowed me to change my order with no problems. I absolutely loved how the manager looked like a regular employee , I don’t remember his name, but he had tattoos and he walked around and spoke to customers the whole time we sat there. He is very professional, and easy on the eyes 😁. I appreciate the waitress as well, she is very sweet and did an awesome job. They both let me see the allergy menu, and showed me how to look it up in the future. I will definitely be back very soon. Thank you so much for such great service!!
My server Katie was absolutely the best server I have ever had. She was attentive , kind, very observant and overall made my experience here the best I ever had .
Had a fantastic experience tonight! For an early dinner on a Saturday, it was busy but not too busy! The staff is awesome and attentive -specific shoutout to Hannah in the bar section! She was absolutely on it!! Will definitely be back!!
My coworker and I decided to treat ourselves to a lil pre Christmas celebration lunch and to say our experience was outstanding is an understatement! Kennedy was so sweet and attentive during our time there! Definitely recommend!
It was pretty good. We were seated immediately, and our server was right with us. We got soup, baked potato and enchilada. We loved ours. Ordered drinks - I ordered a lemon drop and it was okay. They ordered one of the seasonal margaritas and loved it.
The service was very good. Our waitress refilled drinks and brought out to-go boxes without us asking. She anticipated our needs.
Once we could grab the servers attention from chatting with another server, everything went great. Food came out very hot and fresh! We were checked on by other servers passing by as well.
My wife and I both had burgers with a starter of chips and salsa and I had a chicken enchilada soup as a side. Everything was delicious.
Update January 22 2024 (5) stars with photos: This review is for the new location on Broadway and Grande Our visit was enjoyable. Mattie, our server in the bar area was attentive but not over bearing. The food, old-timers cheese burger and mushroom Swiss burger, were cooked to perfection, piping hot, and the amount of fries were perfectly portioned to the burger. I will be back for sure. Although my jeep is Mad Max style (no grill) Chili's bar and grill made up for it. Lol This is an older review I did when Chili's was located on loop 323 (2) stars. I can't go into what happened cause it was so disgusting. In the end, I think the right thing was done. And luckily the server that left the restroom without washing was dealt with. I did feel bad about the people that were served by this person.
The new Chili's in Tyler is a good improvement over the old one from 30+/- years ago. We've really enjoyed the bar and the service there. We've not tried table service but the main bartender is top notch, friendly and consistant. As far Chili's themselves, the new design (layout) is too open, for my liking. The food has decreased a bit in quality, but I see this across the country at all Chili's. They've pulled some popular drinks from their menu (as seen in my photo, the Jack Berry) and this is a mistake!
My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate National Girlfriends Day, and it exceeded my expectations. We do come to chilis pretty often in both Tyler and Longview, and Shelby being our server was our best experience so far. I will say I was bummed out when I heard they were out of Mac and cheese for the night, but the service from her along with the taste of my meal made it easy to get past. She was very attentive and super nice. 10/10, will be back soon and will ask for Shelby.
This was my first time coming to chilis. The environment and the energy was unmatched. And Christian was the goat and served my food with speed and attention. Also gave me a w recommendation. Definitely coming back again.
I've been eating at Chili's my entire life. The food has always been delicious. But this afternoon I had, what is hands down, one of the best cooked and seasoned steaks of my life. I've traveled across the globe and US and eaten at multiple legendary restaurants. I don't know who was on the grill this afternoon, but they deserve a raise. Outstanding.
Had the best service with Kelsie and the food was delish!!
Had lunch after church there today. Food was great and our server Katie was outstanding.
We didn’t want to cook tonight so we decided to go out. Chili’s has always been a good bang for the buck, but tonight’s sever Kennedy was fantastic. We wanted for nothing and didn’t have to ask either. The cooks were on the game too. Even though they were relatively busy every thing came out fast. Since they moved we have had great experiences.
Love their Salads and tea! We had a great waitress.
My coworker and I went on lunch to eat a quick meal on our break. Kennedy was the sweetest server ever. She got us drinks back to back so we never had an empty cup, got our food out so fast. She was so nice and accommodating and overall very polite. Thanks Kennedy for a great lunch! 😁
I really enjoyed this Chili's everything was Amazing to the Service the Atmosphere and the food even my Server was Amazing. When I am back in Tyler TX I will be back.
I placed a mobile pick up order to this location. Throughout the whole encounter we have nothing but positive things to say! The climate and staff were all so wonderful! We will definitely be back. Their southwestern eggrolls are my absolute favorite!
Great spot for drinks and food! Sat at the bar on a Friday night, and despite how busy things were, the servers were very attentive!
The food and service is great. Place is clean even with how busy the restaurant gets. Every server is a pleasure to deal with. My only complaint and it is to me a big one, the Dinning Room is loud. There does not appear to be any sound dampening material on either walls or ceiling. Doesn't stop me from going there though.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Macy was an amazing server and made our visit to Chili’s a great one. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us at just the right times. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out hot and correct, and everything ran smoothly because of her. You can tell Macy genuinely cares about providing great service. We really appreciated her and will definitely be back.
This host that I think was named jayden was very helpful and also complimented me. He for sure needs a raise and my number. He was very cute. i will definitely be coming back to see him. 😉
Previously, we would frequent the lindale, tx location. As we have moved, the Tyler, tx (broadway) location is now the most optimal. One thing I like most about all chillis is the slightly different atmosphere and decor at each and every one while still leaving the feel of familiarity. All have their own feel to them. This location is no different! The vibe here is fantastic! Never a bad experience at any I have been to! We will return here often, however! Thank you guys so much!
We came late after work around 940. Brooke took great care of us from beginning to end. She helped with plenty of questions and gave us great recommendations. First time trying the chicken crisper sandwich and it was very good. She recommended the honey Chipotle flavor and it was fantastic. We also got the quesadila explosion salad and loved it as well. Brooke even got us to go drinks and made the experience smooth and enjoyable.
jaden was so helpful he told me my outfit was nice and offerd to pay for my food because i lost my wallet I found it and paid but I will definlly be back thanks to Jadens helpful service
Chris was our server and what a great young man. Very helpful and gave us good recommendations. Very personable and quick with service. Well done sir. Well done.
Visited chilis today and ahead the most wonderful experience with our server Hamid! He was so courteous in every way, he greeted the table with a bright smile and sparkling personality. Every interaction when he approached the table was light hearted and funny. He managed to make everyone laugh with each time he checked on us. All of our needs were met and he went above and beyond! He was gentle and patient when we needed more time with the menu, which is something seldom seen nowadays. I definitely will be returning and look forward to any future interactions with this kind young man!
Steven was our server and he was over the top amazing! He was very attentive, but not too much to where it was annoying. The second our drinks were low, he was there with a new glass. Our food came out exactly as we ordered it and we as also amazing!!!
The food was awesome and seasoned very well. Although the Customer service was lacking a bit as we sat in curbside for over 15 mins waiting and it took me calling the location for them to even acknowledge we were out there. We’ll definitely be back for the food just might consider picking it up from inside or having it delivered next time.
Baby back ribs were great. Service was fast, accurate and attentive. My only complaint was that the tables are small and covered with too many advertisements (we had a table for 4). There was barely enough room for our meals. It was also very noisy... but what restaurant isn't nowadays?
Food was good, ribs, shrimp tacos and a veggie burger we're all enjoyed. We waited a really long time for food, good thing we had chips and dips. I think it was about 45 minutes and that the waitress may have forgotten to put our order in.
Food is good. Service was good. Expensive for lunch and did not appreciate the automatic tip added to the ticket for a take out meal. Will not be back.
The waitress was very polite while taking our order, other than that we saw her literally as the food runner delivered our order to us. We had to ask other servers for water and condiments. The atmosphere was fairly loud.
We were seated quickly. It was pretty busy, so the workers that actually showed up to work, had their hands full. There was a little confusion with a few food orders, but that will be worked out with more training. Don’t be mad at a worker that made the effort to show up to work. Unfortunately our food was cold when it arrived, I kind of suspect it was someone else’s order that was canceled. Manager apologized and took care of it. Chips and Salsa were fresh and great. People have bad days, don’t take a restaurant off your list for just 1 or 2 bad meals. You might just miss out on a really good experience.
My husband and 3 kids took me here for dinner the Saturday before mothers day. This was our first time at any Chili's. The food was good. Not a lot of menu items. A little pricey I thought for what I would expect from a place set up for drinks and sports. But the service was good. All in all.. Not bad. Family friendly. But we will probably take our 70$ some where different next time. (We ordered Chips & salsa, 6oz steak, ribs, and kids pizza)
I got an appetizer of Texaz cheese fries(half) loaded with schedded cheese, green onion bits, and jalapenos. My main entree was brisket quesadillas with shredded cheese, slow-smoked pulled brisket, roasted jalapenos and and house barbecue sauce; it was served with pico, sour cream and ancho-chile sauce. Dessert was a couple of small bowls of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate syrup. My drink was raspberry lemonade. The whole meal was delicious.
It’s what you expect, pretty good food, solid drinks and staff isn’t bad and neither is the price
Food was good but service was amazing!!! Our lunch server went above and beyond... Made our day even better!!!
Solid stop at Chilis. Clean but not an overabundance of atmosphere, but you know what to expect. Service was good. Burger was great and chicken enchilada soup good. Prices are great, probably no more than fast food. Good for a quick stop for lunch or dinner much better that a fast food stop!
The strawberry margaritas were yummy, sweet enough for me and that’s saying a lot! They were a little short on booze though. The service was excellent, very nice young man. It was Sunday afternoon, a bit like a tornado had blown through. But we got a good table and had a nice early cocktail hour.
Food was very disappointing. Ordered the chicken Crispers. Could not eat them they were so tough. Use to be a great place. This is the second time in row we received bad food.
Ordered Shrimp and chicken fajitas; husband ordered Cheeseburger. My shrimp were good; chicken and rice burned. Husband’s burger was good. Waitress Kennedy was great! Probably will not be back.
the food was great as always. The service was pretty bad, never asked if we wanted a refill on drinks. It wasn't busy at the time either. And never asked did we want to order dessert. I gave the three stars on the food that we ate only but ended up leaving without having the dining experience that we were looking for. If your a server and your income is mostly the tips those are some pretty easy things to pay attention to you so that you get a good tip
Good place to catch lunch. The servers were extremely nice. Did not bring all the food requests. When inquiry was made, the main server mentioned the fajita set up would be right out. But it never made it. We mentioned it when we were getting to pay out. There was no offer to reduce our food price. Still gave a 20% tip, due to the servers kindness.
My family went out to celebrate. We placed our order and our drinks and appetizers came in a reasonable amount of time. Our food however we waited 45 minutes for the other waitress to notice we hadn't gotten our food. While ours had said after we finished our appetizers that our entrees would be shortly. Turns there was "glitch" and our entrees never got sent to the kitchen. We were made aware by the other waitress who had also talked to the manager and they offered to comp our drinks and appetizers. We asked for our to go at this point and still had to pay over 70 dollars for food we ate at home. We have gone there before and never had this bad an experience. We were patient and nice but I wish they would have comped the meals instead of the drinks and the appetizers.
I was incredibly disappointed tonight. I have always LOVED Chili's. Tyler closed the old one and opened this new one. This was my first time going to the new one. Service was very slow. Food was mediocre at best and overpriced for what we got. Of course, they've taken off many favorites from the menu. One of my kids ordered a burger. It came out medium and looked perfect, yet it was chewy like jerky. I don't even know how you manage to do that. I'm not sure I'll go back, but if I do, I will update my review.
Went yesterday and we ordered our entire meal in one shot. Our appetizers and drinks came out fine. It took awhile to get refills & when we did both my husband and I got regular tea. Told the waitress we ordered blackberry sweet tea. She asked if she could just bring the syrup to put into our regular teas; then we waited for over 45 mins....watching people who came in after us get their food. Another waitress came over and said that somehow our food didn't get put into the system so she retool it. Our waitress came over and said the manager was on top of it & she didn't know how it happened. Yet before this happened she told us our food was on its way. I told her to let them know we wanted it to go. She said fine and that the manager was going to discount the appetizers. We got that and 17.00 off.....I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Plus I miss the 2 for 23!!!!
Everything was good until it wasn't. We had eaten lunch there a few weeks before and our bill was mid 30's for 2 appetizers, chips and salsa and we had water. Went back and ordered the same exact thing except this time we ordered lemonade instead of waters. Our bill was $49.42!! After the tip, we paid $60 for 2 appetizers, 2 lemonades, and chips with salsa. Can't do it. I love the southwest rolls but not at these prices!
Don’t waste your time The server was nice though Everything is pre-cooked and disgusting
Food was mid, service was as up to standards. But 1 ply toilet paper is crazy. In 2025 all you can do is curse your customers with 1ply? Come on do better!
I came here with my boyfriend almost two weeks ago. I got overcharged around $20 and the manager was very kind. However I have yet to receive my refund. Also to add onto this unfortunate experience the young man in the front hit on me while working by asking for my phone number and social medias. I normally love Chili’s, but this just did it for me.
At all the Chilis I’ve gone to have a had good/ great service; unfortunately that was not the case with our server Hamid this evening. Understandingly so, the food coming out incorrect was not his fault. After not only once but the food not coming out correctly twice I would think the server would apologize on behave kitchen staff/ get with a manager for inconvenience. He did not check on guests after food quality or during visit when food was received . He was not attentive. It seemed as he was rushed to continue conversations elsewhere. Mind you he had the bar area but it was not full he had 2 other guests.
Not sure what’s going on, but I guess they’ve changed the staple “skillet queso” to something disgusting. Hate it. We don’t go for fine dining, we go for the specific things Chili’s has that we know and want. My daughter only wants their queso, and that’s gone. I have loved the Santa Fe crisper salad and now the chopped avocado is a spoonful of guac, which makes things soggy; might not be a common opinion but I don’t like it. Certainly never went there for the service or drinks, and the original crispers are long gone, so not much good left I guess.
There was a company with multiple employees seated around the bar area. We were seated next to them.😒 It took 10 minutes before our server introduced himself and waited on us. We went ahead and ordered our meal along with our drinks to save time. After 30 minutes, we received our food. I ordered a simple bean nachos. They were cold.😒 My husband and son both ordered ribs and French fries. Their food was hot and tasty. I may return again for an appetizer and drinks, but definitely not food.
The food was good but I wouldn't eat here again after two cars were broken into. I heard that it was a bad place around there to eat in that area they need to hire security and put cameras outside.
Had the absolute worst experience ever last week. Granted yes my friend & I game in before an hour of closing, but if you don’t want to work somewhere that is opened later, then don’t work there (the attitudes we seen from the two waitresses). Waitress was okay, waiting a long time but she had a decent persona about her. What really was unacceptable is how she & the other server kept walking by a table sat waayyyyy before us & didn’t even acknowledge them. Never got refills when we asked for them for chips. The food was absolutely terrible. His burger was burnt & my chicken looked like a microwaved fake chicken & tasted like so. I never complain when I go eat somewhere & I did this time because of the series of events & no manager ever stopped by & I am a restaurant manager too. Chili’s used to be so good. Has went extremely down hill. :(
After waiting an excessive amount of time for food, asked waiter who said order didn’t go through. Booth next to us was seated well after us and got appetizers and entrees while we waited. He had passed out booth several times but never considered checking on our order. Manager offered to pay for our meal if we’d wait. Paying wasn’t the problem - didn’t have the time or desire to wait again for our order! Won’t be back!!!
During visiting this location on 3/12/23 @ about 10pm. The waitress Shelby was confused about taking a order for 3 people. We were ordering the 3 for 10.99. She tried to charge us for the wrong appetizers that she put in.🤔. Each person was supposed to have their own appetizer, but only received 1 trio dip that was cold. The food was cold, had to ask 3 times for silverware and our waitress Never brought it. This waitress Never came back to our table All Night. Finally asked for a manager to help because this was the worst service ever. Skylar was the manager that helped. Just because your about to close doesn't mean the food & service Declines. People were walking out due to this. I enjoy Chilli's but this was a eye opener 🤬🤬🤬. I need to speak to big bosses.
Absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had. It started from the moment we walked in and ended with tears when leaving. As soon as we walked in the door the hostess was rude to us, sat us and didn’t say one word or make us feel welcomed at all. We were able to order drinks and appetizers, but then struggled to get our servers attention to order entrees. After trying to flag her down 3 separate times while eating our rock hard/cold cheese fries, we had to ask another server. We ordered, and told our server we were going to run up to the bar for a moment to order happy hour drinks, and asked that our table didn’t get bussed. As I was walking back from the bar, the host was bussing our table and I politely asked her to stop and she said “yeah well I was told to” rolled her eyes and continued to remove everything from the table as I was sitting back down. My margarita was in a dirty glass and tasted like toilet water, so after taking that back, the table next to us called for our waitress for a hair in their food. At this point we no longer wanted our food and just asked for our check. The manager came and as we explained to her what was going on, she completely cut us off and walked away. I have never felt so dismissed and disrespected in my life. Not to mention they brought us our entire full priced check without one apology. I will never be returning to this Chili’s. This experience was unbelievable and they should all be ashamed.
New location same old problems. Too start with the service was bad the guy we had didn't think we needed much we waited for are drinks didn't get them tell later on then we ordered appetizer and they never came out then the food we ordered two rib eye steaks if they call them steaks it was like having a piece of meat sit out for a few days and then put in the microwave we asked multiple times to talk to the manager then we figured out it wouldn't matter if we talk to the manager because nothing would be done. We figured we give it another shot new location hopefully better quality nope just sad you can draw dressing it up as much as you want but your food still is awful your servers need to be turned better every single customer needs to be treated exactly the same.
I go here all the time . I finally went after a long time and the food is NOT it .. like tell me why the rice was flavorless, and the kids meal had a over cooked tortilla a few pieces of chicken and cheap cheese. Did not pay 60 $ for a family of four to get this kind of food. But the server was very nice. I’m not hating on y’all still ate it though!
Don’t waste your time or money. Went in first got served limes and lemon is a dirty bowl. Brought it up to them she left the dirty bowl on the table and went and got more. The Staff ones that were off the cook goofing off behind my table so loud I couldn’t hear the people at my table. Chips were stale and full of grease. Fries were old stale and rubbery. Asked for salt never got. Don’t waste your money. I spent 60 dollars on garbage
I liked this place but now I'm so upset. We don't have a lot of money and going out is special for my family. We were seated in an open booth at the back, and we waited patiently for over 20 minutes with absolutely no service. No drinks, no food, nothing. I got up to let the hostess know that we haven't had service and we still didn't get to see anyone. Another table got sat and served drinks after I had complained. I decided it was enough and time to leave. I spoke to a manager briefly as we were leaving, and there was a complete lack of care or concern. Which was also disappointing, but we left trying to save our night. This was my birthday dinner and why it was a special day for me.
The food was very greasy🤢. Service was terrible The waiter kept trying to serve us waters while we were talking to her. And tried to order stuff for us.😬 the water was bitter A bug was eating my food. and they had these iPads on the tables that did not work.🪰 If you’re ever in Tyler, Texas, Steer, clear of chilies 😬 😱🤢💩
The worst Chili's I've ever been to. We set for about 1 hour. Waiting on food. People came after Us getting their food. Finally we told the waiter to bring a ticket , we don't want the food. Then the manager came to the table apologizing, stating our ticket got pushed back. Then we watch 2 more tables recieved their food. Then the waiter came and tried to apologizing again. We requested the manager, my husband told him we should have to pay for appetizers. We left. We will never go to this chilis ever again.
I made a reservation a day prior and even called twice today to make sure my recreation was still there. I went here 5 minutes early and they say they don’t take reservations and we would have to wait an hour or more. When they literally said that they had us down we double checked we have a verification text from them.
Tried Chili’s again after years because I’ve heard they changed their menu and the food was better. Well, we received 2 burgers that were essentially raw and dripping red all over the bun. This was after waiting over 40 minutes for our food to be served. The waitress was great and this is no reflection on her at all. Also, the side dish was not served with the meal and we were told we would have to wait another 10 minutes for it. They were also out of several sodas. Never again. We can get a burger at 100s of places. Do better Chili’s.
Pasta not done skimpy on the sauce shrimp overcooked don't come to this Chilis. They have a 3.9 rating for a reason.
Food is not good unless it is the appetizers. We dropped 89.00 1 adult and 2 kids. I feel we could have spent another 20$ and ate somewhere really decent. I had the fajitas. I'm not sure what the rice tasted like. Maybe liquid smoke? It was bad bad bad. Definitely was undercooked. The chicken fajitas were maybe taco bell chicken quality, not sure. The beef not much better. I couldn't get the image of some TV shrimp out of my mind while eating those. I didn't finish my meal to say the least. We did have the giant cheese sticks. Those were good, but too expensive. 15$ for 6. Service was mediocre. Place had a weird vibe. Nobody but oddballs eating in there. Won't be back. 😄
Wait was so long that without talking to someone the manager came over to comp our meal, however we should have just left. They burnt a grilled cheese without melting the cheese in the middle. They burnt the cheese quesadilla. We had three separate street corns and all 3 were burnt and all looked completely different. Had a burger that had avocado added. The burger came without avocado but had mushrooms added. Brisket quesadilla was burnt on one side. Garlic toast was burnt. Mashed potatoes were undercooked. The top layer of fries were warm but all the fries underneath were cold.
I ordered nachos. I’m not sure what I was served, but it looks like burned diarrhea. Oddly enough, both a cook and a server deemed this appropriate to serve to a customer. Also, long wait times are atrocious with how empty this restaurant was. There’s no reason it took almost an hour to get this slop.
A Chilli's is serving Bread Sandwiches. Yes, a bunch of fried Bread dipped in sauce and served on a Bun. To Order a Bread Sandwich, look for any of the Fired Chicken Sandwiches and pick the sauce you want on your Bread. It comes piping hot with crispy fried Bread, so much so, that it's hardly worth mentioning the Chicken. As, there is so little Chicken, it will leave you wondering, "Why, why did they call this a Chicken Sandwich when less than 10% of the Fried Bread Patty is Chicken?" Think I'm kidding? Order one for yourself and take the Bread off the Chicken and see for yourself. An eighth inch of chicken wrapped in an each of breading, soaked in sauce, so you will never know the difference, served on a bun.
