Got a plate of 6 beef ribs with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and a piece of cornbread with a drink. Cost 22 bucks but you know if you're getting ribs, that's not bad at all. These ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and tasty. Fast and friendly service, clean place with huge menu and plenty of sauce and napkins for you to enjoy your bbq however you like it. If you're wondering, full slab of ribs is 30, baby backs are 24. Will definitely be back and certainly recommend it.

I was driving in from Dallas to Baton Rouge late I called and spoke to David from Texas smokehouse around 9:35 asking if he would still serve us even if we were 15 minutes out from the restaurant knowing they close at 10 he’s so graciously held all the food out ready for us when we arrived and greeted us with a happy upbeat spirit. He and his team made us feel so welcoming, even at the end of their shift. Thank you David for the pleasant Experience in serving us with our food promptly and it was so delicious we will return. Recommend all travelers to stop here Very nice place gas , clean bathrooms , Starbucks in side ,and delicious bbq where we got our food was right there and many desserts to take for the road! Great place!

Loaded potato with brisket amazing 🥔

This has to be the best gas station in the US! When I passed through there last week I thought I will have to remember this place so I can call back. Little did I know I would be there 4 hours later! I left my wallet on my first visit and the staff there found it and kept it safe. This gave me the chance of trying more food from the deli! I just want to comment in modern times we hear a lot about the state of society, it is extremely refreshing to meet good honest people who you can trust. Thank you!

Better than Bucky’s!!! Quaint but, big enough to have a wide variety. Their smoked meat is on point and not one bite of fat! BBQ sauce tops the charts and side items are fresh & tasty. Servers are available, nice & eager to help. Love the western atmosphere.

Great stop for families that are on the road that need a place to stretch your legs, pump gas or eat something. BBQ is delicious. Restrooms stalls have private doors, very clean as well. Perfect stop for dessert, souvenir shopping and unique treats.

Love this place, great tasting BBQ & my favorite, the Texas cow patty. This is a nice place to stop for lunch if on the road. The Texas cow patty is like a frito pie with beans, cheese, sour cream, jalapeño sausage & shredded beef, soo good! The cakes are delicious as well, got to try one!

Oh my goodness!!! One of the BEST BBQ places you could find!! Exit 571 in Texas, it's a truck stop and a GREAT place to eat!! Take your pick, BBQ chicken or BBQ pork or brisket and a LOAD of sides OR you can get sonic or pick something from their convenience store! It's ALL GREAT!!!

2nd time I’ve stopped. Pulled Pork has been great both times but the new potatoes are amazing!!! Got a small the first time and wanted more. This time got a medium but wish I’d gotten 2 larger maybe 3. Store is cool with all kinds of goodies for kids, adults and foodies. They have all kinds of desserts, a chocolate chuck cookie as big as your hand.

The BBQ was spectacular and so were the sides. Mike behind the counter is a ray of sunshine and just so unbelievably sweet. He’s perfect for the job and I hope appreciated. I will post pictures because seeing is believing. It was clean and the selection of food was amazing. There’s even a Sonic inside. Wow what a must see and eat in Tyler, Texas. What a fantastic find!

Great stop! They have a giant, and I mean huge parking lot off to the side of the main building and gas station. The bathrooms are well appointed and the whole place is clean, it rivals the other giant fast station here in TX 😀 The food is really, really good too. The spicy sausage has just the right amount of spice and the ribs are fall off the bone tender.

Great rest stop for road trips. We didn’t eat that the smoke house but it smelt amazing. The gas station as a lot of options. The restrooms are always super clean and smell really good. The gas isn’t ridiculously high either.

One stop got it all, gas , choice of eats and treats, clean restrooms, giftshop and the great 5* bell you ring if you are impressed with TBS. I gave it a gong on our way out! We had a bite to eat and left with a couple of bonbons and a large chocolate chip cookie.

A lot of different stuff fit into a on the small side store. Being a trucker, the parking lot is smaller and lines are non existent in the back.

The smoke house was great! The store is pretty cool, little tourist stop of course. Toys for the kids, looks like handmade clothes and local made jams and such. Wandered into a little section of spices and such, everything I picked up was expired. As in February and September of 2017. Brought it to the clerks attention, he looked at me like I was nuts. I got the two meat plate with brisket, pork bbq, baked beans, and potato salad. Star of the show was the pulled pork. More chopped than shredded with a fantastic bark that was seasoned well and added a great texture.

It's a cross between Bucees and Cracker Barrel without the crowd and table service. Awesome food - brisket, pork, chicken, etc. Bonbon selections are superb! Lots of souvenirs without being overwhelming. Stop by and you won't be disappointed.

The food was good for a gas station stop. I enjoyed the mash potatoes the best. You get a lot of food for a decent price. The meat was cold though and I would have preferred it to be warmer. I gave the corn bread to my son since it wasn't gluten free and he didn't eat it. Overall it did the job for the quick stop we needed to do while traveling.

Really good Texas style barbecue we stopped in and got the pounder which included three meets pulled pork brisket and ribs. The brisket is incredible here very tender moist the pulled pork is really good and the ribs were fall off the bone tender. I am giving a three star review not because the food is not good. The food is great! I’ve just noticed that the meat portion franked significantly. I just got a two minute plate and you know what the portion of meat is way smaller than when I bought it the last time.

Buffet style menu was the BBQ Brisket, Sausage, Turkey, Pulled Pork, Ham, Ribs, Texas Bake Potato, Beef Tip, Street Tacos and Breakfast. Quick service with average BBQ sauce and dessert. Great for a quick meal on the road. Definitely worth stopping to eat while you fuel up for the road.

Balding guy on the register rang up the wrong stuff and didnt ask me if thats what i had until after i paid, when i asked them if they could refund the money they charged me (which was $9.46) he replied “Im just gonna give you your order the price is about the same and I got a line” but after reviewing the prices on the menu its $8.99 for a POUND of the meat i got but I only ordered a HALF pound. Terrible service will not be ordering food from them again.

Been years since I've been here so I just had to stop in on my way to Dallas. Ordered the smokehousr pounder with chicken, brisket, pulled pork and sausage. Didn't get my pulled pork or sausage and instead they gave me ribs and charged me extra for them. Found out they also discontinued my favorite jerky that they make. Next time I'll just go to buccees

I am so disgusted I just spent a ton of money on a rack of ribs for half of them to be as dry as the Sahara Desert. Don't come here if you're expecting good food. Best bet is to go to Denton. I'm a truck driver and been stopping here for years. Sadly to say the service was horrific. The young light skinned lady was rude as ever. If you want dry tasteless smoked meat that will feel like cardboard in your mouth and you have to spit it out, this is your place. I spent nearly $30 here and had to throw the food out the window. I got a combination meat plate with the peach cobbler and something else, the only edible thing was the bread. The ribs were so dry I'm not exaggerating when I tell you I had to get a paper towel and spit it out to the towel. Same thing with the brisket. I was so upset and pissed off. They have other restaurants in there and perhaps I should have tried the taco place or somewhere else but I didn't. The atmosphere it's nice and tables were clean plenty of room to sit down and eat if you wanted to. I'm a truck driver so I was getting my food to go.

I really did not appreciate it when I ordered the rib sandwich and had two big pieces of bone in my sandwich. I could have bitten into that and really done some damage to my teeth, but fortunately I had a thought that the worker would do that, so I checked my sandwich before I bit into it. The manager needs to train the ladies that serve the food to not serve meat with bones inside a sandwich.

$17+ for this and no drink included. It's almost the same price to buy the sandwich and 2 half pint sides. The rest of the prices are really expensive. The girl behind the counter was rude, always had to get the last word in, and was very sarcastic and condensding. Lastly, the food was actually cold to maybe barely warm. I pass this place regularly. As I ate my dinner, I watched that same girls mess up a few orders from other customers, and she definitely showed her attitude. I will NEVER go here again. I can go to a REAL BBQ restaurant and get way more for my.mo ey instead of this stuff that's been canned and sitting under a heat lamp. The trash cans were over full and had flies all around.

I came into the store on Thanksgiving Eve and was immediately told by two cashiers to remove my hood and surrender my backpack. I felt accused of theft the moment I walked in. Other customers wore hoods and carried bags, yet I was singled out without cause. I left without arguing and will take my business elsewhere, but the treatment was humiliating and completely inappropriate-especially toward a longtime customer who has never stolen anything in 25 years of visiting truck stops throughoutthe country. Furthermore, I have never been treated like this either. There should be appreciation for costumers. There should be dignity in how we are treated. If people are stealing from you that's them not everyone is them.

If there was a zero star that’s what I’d give. Stop one time with son in law and my dad and got ribs and sliced beef and it wasn’t fit to feed to dogs. The meat fell to pieces off the ribs, tasted like it had been cooking for a couple of days. The sliced brisket turned into a mess of pieces of meat. DO NOT EAT HERE! Turn around leave of just get some jerky from the store side. You’ll be better off!

If you are in the area DO NOT buy fule at this station. They are runnig a bait and switch scam. The sign you see from the highway is 40¢ cheaper than what you will pay at the pump. Their answer? "Oh, that price is for the truck stop pumps in the back". I filled up $70+ worth of diesel, before I turned around and saw the lower sign. Cost me an extra $8.50. Every other station I passed, withing 50 miles was 10 to 30 cent cheaper! Never in my 58 years of life have I ever seen a gas station with different prices at different pumps. I will be contacting the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to report this!

Asked for brisket sliced thin. Not chopped. Got this. And it's a bit tougher than I have ever gotten before. Edit..... brisket not worth eating. Way dryer and tougher than first thought. I had 5 bites tying to see if it was just a fluke... it wasn't. Just a big waste of money.
