This is our first time here. Came here to celebrate a birthday girl who specifically requested raw oysters. Out of the 10 oysters available, they only had six so we of course ordered each of those. A couple were too briny for me, but the rest were very yummy. Also had the cioppino which was light broth stock full of seafood. Appetizers was the calamari and the spicy sweet edamame. The edamame was excellent. Nice combination of sweet and spicy which you definitely need to try. Andres, our server, was nice, attentive and gave suggestions on the oyster selection (and on top of that good looking!:) Dessertwas Keylime pie and chocolate mousse cheesecake. Keylime pie was light and not too tart. Chocolate mousse was as expected rich and chocolatey. Overall, a very nice dining experience and we will be back again. This restaurant is now definitely on our list.
Very nice restaurant, clean and bright. Good ambiance. Very good selection of fresh oyster and seafood. Everything we had was well prepared good portions size. Cioppino had lots of seafood and fish . Also panna cotta was very well prepared
Julian was our server, very attentive, checked on us frequently, the food was DELICIOUS, their butter was not commercial butter.
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with plenty of seating available. Our server was attentive, checking in frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, and the staff was both professional and courteous. The food was of excellent quality, bursting with flavor, and absolutely delicious. I look forward to returning and highly recommend it to others.
I love this restaurant. It’s not super expensive but definitely gives a nice romantic dining experience. Perfect for a lunch or dinner date. Had tried their uncooked oysters, they were really yum and super fresh. Also tried Halibut and Cioppino from their Main Course. Everything was honestly the best i have had. The service by the staff was also very friendly and nice. Overall, i would rate this place as a 10/10 and definitely recommend people to try it..
This is the REDWOOD CITY restaurant at 2107 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. Fresh seafood! Very nice and welcoming staff! Very clean and lovely atmosphere.
Went on Tuesday during Happy Hour with my bestie for early supper. It's nice to see a cozy & quiet spot in Union City, and I loved the ambiance inside. Our server was well versed with his recommendation and checked in on my friend & I. I had their Millionaire cocktail, drink had hibiscus brandy with sweet & sour liquor, and I absolutely loved it. Drink had a nice balance of tangy flavor, not too alcoholic, I went for 2nd glass, and my friend ended up ordering 1 for herself. We went for the Roasted Beet Goat Cheese Salad, Mango Habanero Prawns, Fried Calamari, Cooked Oysters, Fish Taco, dessert we shared delicious crème brûlée. Fish taco, cooked mango habanero oysters & and prawns were my favorite, I was not a fan of Parmesan & Sriracha Bourbon Oysters it was too salty for my personal taste. Crème Brûlée was good, light & flavourful. Overall, it was a nice, cozy, well spent happy hour, with delicious food & friendly staff. Definitely would recommend for date night & family dinner.
If you want seafood Ocean Bar is it! Everything was very great, the place was clean and relaxing with a modern decor. Well we started with a drink which is their signature hibiscus margarita (yum). They then serve this thinly sliced sourdough bread with a garlic butter, OMG the best. Mind you we were a party of four and they served a basket for each side of the table 💯. Appetizers (not shown) because we scarfed them down before I could take a photo, lol was the crab cakes and calamari. Next we’re our entrees that’s in the pictures.
Checked this place out after looking around for some good ceviche last month. The menu looked great so we tested things out with a Shrimp Louie salad, the crab Alfredo and some cheesy bread. All of as delicious. Perfectly cooked and good portions. The star of the meals was definitely the seafood. The service was awesome. Fast, friendly and efficient. We will surely be back to try more from the menu
This is a seafood experience that is going to uplift you and make your dance in your chair, maybe even shed a tear. The ambiance is light, delicate, and welcoming. The staff are kind and friendly, as you'd expect in an upscale restaurant. Me and my wife were seated immediately, and our waitress got to us rather swiftly. We order drinks from the bar that were made to perfection. We had a few appetizers, such as the octopus and edemame. The raw oysters were definitely the star of the show. We tried 4 different types of oysters, and we were very satisfied. They were prepared in a way we've never had. They were pleasantly delightful to the pallet. Our entrees were even better. I had the ribeye 10oz w/ veg and mash , and my wife had a medley of seafood mixed. We were very satisfied. 10/10 I recommend this establishment for couples, first dates, celebrations...
I can here for a team lunch with my colleagues and everything from food, to service, to ambiance was amazing! Also, one really nice thing to note was that despite coming during lunch time, they weren’t busy so the staff was super attentive to all parties that came in for lunch. I ordered the pacific petrole sole and I absolutely loved it, it was bursting with flavor, it was zesty, it was creamy, and the fingerling potatoes and asparagus were a welcome addition! My colleagues ordered linguini, a sandwich, and another fresh seafood item their names elude me, but they all finished their plates! This restaurant was truly wonderful and I look forward to coming back!
Finally - we found a real seafood place! Selection was good and service was out! Best of all, it was not terribly expensive. It is not crowded for weekday lunches. We enjoy it a lot.
Fresh off work, looking to sink my teeth into something other than a burger. Bam I find myself here. Not, much to say other then the food was well flavored and cooked perfectly. The octopus was wonderful. The lamb chops were super delicious, and the clam chowder was good also.
First time eating here today, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were worth the $$ spent. Our server Andres was great!!! The restaurant was not too busy, so there was no wait to be seated. We had the Fried Calamari for an appetizer... Yum! For lunch, we ordered the Petrale Sole with garlic butter capers sauce, asparagus and roasted potatoes, and two orders of the Wild Halibut, one with capers, spinach and mashed potatoes, and one with capers, mushrooms, asparagus and rice...and a Hibiscus Margherita... Delicious!!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oceans Bar in Union City, CA, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Each visit with my family just keeps getting better and better. The food at Oceans is simply outstanding. The sashimi scallops are a personal favorite of mine, and the prawns are always cooked to perfection. It's great to see such attention to detail in the preparation of their dishes. What sets Oceans apart for me is their ability to cater to everyone's tastes. While I enjoy the seafood offerings, my kids love the variety they can choose from. They often switch it up from hamburgers to the delicious chicken Alfredo. It's refreshing to have a place that can satisfy the entire family. The service at Oceans is top-notch. We are fortunate to have servers like Daniel, Julian, and Andres, who consistently go above and beyond. Their attention to detail and their ability to remember us when we arrive truly make us feel valued as customers. They treat us the way a restaurant should treat its patrons. In fact, our experience at Oceans has been so exceptional that we are willing to drive three hours just to dine there. We have become loyal customers, and it's all thanks to the incredible employees who make our visits so enjoyable. As long as Oceans remains open, we will continue to be regulars. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers delicious food, attentive service, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Oceans Bar, You won't be disappointed.

Service was amazing!! Seriously, they were so attentive & helpful. We loved the modern setting, its a beautiful & clean restaurant. Food was fast & soooo delicious!! We had a party of 10 and all of our food was served fast, fresh, and the quality was just like the pictures!! We definitely will be back!!
Went to lunch with my honey and found ourselves staying for few hours, Food was absolutely amazing!! Chef Aldo has great creativity of bringing fresh ingredients together to make a wonderful masterpiece!! Started off with two oysters each of Eastern, Blue Point, Raspberry Point. I really liked the Raspberry Points on this visit and my honey enjoyed Blue Points, so next plate 3 Raspberry Points and 3 Blue Points. Fresh grated horseradish is a nice touch inside of the cocktail sauce - adds a small amount of heat and adds texture. Next, three cherry stone clams prepared three ways and an oyster rockafella which I haven’t had in a long time (little rich but the spinach and oyster cut it perfectly - Thanks Chef). Next we went with the fish stew (crabs, shrimp, clams, mussels, squid) with a rich in flavor, not overly thick and definitely not watery red sauce that accompanied the seafood beautifully. Brought the left over sauce home yum 😋. Lastly for dessert had two enchiladas- one was fresh crab the other was shrimp they were neck to neck on amazing taste but if I could only select one I’d have to go with the shrimp enchilada - it rivals the shrimp enchilada from Javier’s located at the Aria in Vegas. I will be back soon to order some more shrimp enchilada’s at Ocean Bar. Hope everyone Stays Safe and God Bless

Gotta hand it to this family run restaurant. The decor is refreshing and beautiful. The weight staff was very courteous and the food was delicious. So nice to have a place like this for seafood.
I wasn’t a big fan of sea food but this place makes delicious and innovative dishes and I became addicted to this place, the drinks are terrific and the service is amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their incredible recipes. 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s so nice to see new great restaurants like this open nearby. A nice place to take the family or on a date , beautiful decor , awesome food , attentive service 5/5.
They went above and beyond in their service and the food as ALWAYS was AMAZING !!
We love coming to this place! A nice ambiance, amazing craft cocktails, and outstandingly fresh seafood. They run happy hour almost daily, and our fav day is Tue because they offer half off on their 4 oyster offerings. Highly recommend this place
Great restaurant. Ironically, got the steak, but it was cooked perfectly. Excellent service and friendly bartender. Will got back!
The food was great! The scenery looked awesome! Service was great! 10/10!
Came here for dinner with the family and had a great time. Got the cooked oysters in a few different flavors and they were all great. Octopus and scallops were fantastic. Mashed potatoes were too good. Wanted to eat it till I pop. So good. We also got fish and chips appetizer that was a hit. For a party of four the bill was $160 before tip and we all drank only water. There were lots of families there with kids which surprised me. It seemed a bit fancy for kids initially, but once we settled in it became more apparent that it’s pretty equivalent to red lobster fancy. Good place for a family dinner and fine for a lightly elevated date night too. Think cute cocktail dress, not a ball gown.
Food and bar service exceeded expectations. Fish was fresh and flavorful, and sides were prepared well. Ordered the Petrale Sole which was light and delicious with the sauce. Roasted potatoes and asparagus accompanied which were fresh and well cooked. Very good bar selection and attentive staff, although it was an empty Monday when I went.
Delicious food and so much to chose from. The service is amazing and the restaurant is very clean.
Delicious! We're from the East Coast and I love oysters. They were amazing!
One of my favorite seafood restaurants. Has a wide selection of oysters and other seafood bites. My favorite cooked dish is the halal lamb chops. So good!
delicious foods and welcoming staff. One of the best restaurants nearby
I loved every dish we tried. You can taste the passion in the cooking.
I really enjoyed the food! It was a great service and the food was awesome.
Delicious food! Wonderful service! We really enjoyed the crab cakes, edamame, tuna, and lamb chops. Even the spinach and asparagus were amazing. Highly recommend!
We have been therr a couple of times for family birthdays and its always been really good our son enjoys the variety of oyster options and we love all the seafood offerings they have
Dined here 3 times, food is consistently well cooked and tasty, cocktails are solid. Staff is always polite, but not always attentive (which is okay with me because I don’t like being bothered). Atmosphere is on the classier side but you’ll fit in dressing up or dressing casual.
I was not to sure about coming to this place at first as I'm not a raw oyster fan! Walking into the restaurant, I felt under dressed (shorts and tee shirt) with the beautiful ambience this restaurant has! Jessica our server was great! Very friendly and upbeat. It's been awhile since I've had a server like her! We ordered the ceviche to start out with along with the bread they bring to your table! After looking over the menu I noticed that they offered cooked oysters as well and ordered one oyster with garlic butter. That was so delish that I had to order another 3 just to have the order of 4 that they offer on the menu. I ordered an additional two with the garlic and then also tried their spicy one which was okay. I'm not a large fan of the spicy one ONLY because it was a sweet spicy sauce and I'm not a big sweet person. We also ended up ordering a bowl of the shrimp soup which could have used a little more broth but had great flavor. We also ordered the seafood platter along with a green salad all to share. The portions were perfect size for two to share everything of. I will definitely be back to have more oysters!! Oh and the added bonus is they have a fully stocked bar!
Need a beautiful spot for Happy hour before a movie, 2 mins from cinema. Or just a place for some delicious meal, then Ocean Oyster got you!! Fresh delicious seafood, pasta, drink and desserts !! So yummy! Ocean’s Margarita Sails with Passion Spicy Peanut Prawns Ahi Poke Tostadas Ponzu Sashimi Scallops Cajun Pasta Crème Brûlée Panna Cotta
Came early in the afternoon and they were able to accommodate our large group of 10 people and the food here was delicious. Heavy focus on seafood in a variety of preparations. Some standouts include the cooked oysters which came in a variety of preparation methods. The ponzu raw scallops were super fresh and tasty as well. Staff was super friendly as well.
So..been wanting to try this place for a while now. Glad I finally did. Food menu does not reflect the quality of the food that comes out, let me tell you that first and foremost. I ordered a app from the bartenders suggestion..bomb..but didn't look that appealing on menu. Ordered the clam linguine..another suggestion..and another non appealing pic from menu..but pretty damn good. Drinks were good and didn't wait long for food. So in my book, thats a win. Ill definitely come back.
Came here for the oysters - was not disappointed! We got the Royal Miyagi and Mission oysters, but if you like big oysters with a bit of saltiness you gotta get the Mission oysters. We were those customers that happened to show up just before closing time, but the staff gladly accepted us and the cooks were willing to serve us oysters past the deadline. It was exceptional service overall and everything was great. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a seafood fix! Edit: I had a Moscow mule and my family had their Jack and lemonade. The bar/drinks here are really well made and I would also recommend trying a drink here if you’re 21 and up.
I tried the Agua chiles for apetizer they were good just a little salty but good also the trio tacos are good all the sauces on the tacos really tasty, I also get the shrimp skewers they were really good too I will come back to this place again actually I been there a couple of times
Had two fresh platters oysters and it was delicious. Our waiter was attentive. A bit pricey but worth it.
The crab cakes are to die for. Everything on that menu is good, I had the scallops as well. I can't stop thinking about those crab cakes though lol
Sarah was absolutely amazing as our waitress!!! She was very professional, prob one of the best experiences we’ve had with regards to customer service in Mackay.
Service was amazing!! Seriously, they were so attentive & helpful. We loved the modern setting, its a beautiful & clean restaurant. Food was fast & soooo delicious!! Good variety of oysters well crafted cocktails. The server, Jennifer was very friendly, funny, and helpful. Props to her! The staff were friendly and attentive as well. It wasn't too busy when we got there at 515pm and parking wasn't an issue. We ordered 6 oysters, fish and chips, ahi tuna, salad, chicken Alfredo, and clam chowder all excellent! I tried the gin, the wife had the black blueberry cocktails.
This place is amazing for dates, families, and sometimes they speak Spanish. I brought my familia and my husband's family here and every one had something that they enjoyed! Their Oyster selection is delicious
An absolute seafood haven! We've become regulars at this gem for good reason - it never disappoints. The fresh oysters are a highlight every time, perfectly shucked and bursting with flavor. And let's talk martinis - they're simply delicious, making them my go-to drink without fail. The vibe here is always on point, especially when we choose to sit at the bar. The bartenders are not only skilled but also incredibly attentive, striking up delightful conversations as we savor our drinks and indulge in the seafood delights. Oh, and a must-try: the Louisiana spicy shrimp - it's a flavor explosion you won't soon forget. This place never fails to impress, and we'll keep coming back for more!
We love coming here with our whole family. We're drawn to the excellent service and delicious food. Special thanks to waiter Julio. His friendliness makes the restaurant welcoming and cozy. A big thanks all of you from Elena, Victoria, and Alexander.
We had a large group. 2 wait staff. Service was good. I always get the same items fried calamari and wedge salad. The group had a prix fix menu and said it was good.
I’ve ate here twice now. We got the Ocean’s Louisiana Platter, Ocean’s Mixed seafood and the Alaskan King crab. Every thing was good they had a good selection of drinks. I recommend the Tequila’s spicy Margarita, it was really good and had a kick. Overall everything was very delicious except the dungeons crab legs were a bit dry. The Alaskan King crab legs were very good way better and than the dungeons crab. The Ocean’s Louisiana platter was very messy but the garlic butter sauce with southern spices was really good.

Great on seafood but not so great with steak. My steak came out well done and not medium, which I asked for. Also, the slice of key lime pie that they gave us, was so small that it only took three bites to eat it. The service was excellent and overall not a bad little place to eat at.
Great food! I love the vibe here and the food is prepared very well. The servers are also plenty friendly. I got the the Greek octopus and crab cheese bread for appetizer and scallops for dinner. I’m always worried about ordering octopus and scallops anywhere because they can easily get over cooked but not here! I really like the flavor in the sauce with the octopus too! The only reason for a loss of star was because it took quite a while for anyone to get our drink order to start and there wasn’t a lot of follow up after (I wanted another drink with my but it took a while to flag someone down). It was busy so there’s some leniency here but I can’t make it a 5 today. Maybe next time :)
Really good seafood if you're craving seafood and steak. My son had ribeye and mashed potatoes. Steak was tender and juicy. Mash potato was smooth and tasty. My wife had lobster sandwich which was full of lobster in every bite. The fries were finger size fries. They were crisp on the outside and just right on the inside. I had the mix seafood plate, which had crab claws and leg. Along with muscles, prawns, fried fish, and clams. The seasoning was very tasty. It was an oily garlic Cajun seasoning. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. What was nice is that they still had outside dining. Great place for any occasion food date.
The cherry stone clams were terrible, so our waiter removed them from the bill. The blue point oysters were awesome as was the seafood Louie. We definitely recommend this place.
Decent seafood place with fair service and atmosphere. It worked for what we were looking for but nothing to write home about.
First time here. Lots of outdoor seating. Decor is standard. Tried multiple items. Bread was warm and good. Fried calamari appetizer. Was ok. Crispy and very thin pieces. Nothing special. 6 oysters. 2 Beausoleil, 2 kumato Baja CA, and 2 Blue point. I only used lemon. They were all really fresh and good. Crab linguini. Lots of cheese and crab. Tasty. Fish and chips. Square fish, good batter crispy, fries. Caesar salad. Was garlicky. OK. Grilled shrimp skewers were good. Buttery, and tasty. Service was attentive, but everything came out at once, I was expecting more coordination.
Nice, sorta upscale, don't need to dress fancy. A little pricey but fairly good, drinks are tasty but not strong, some menu items are better than others. Appetizer fish & chips is better than Red Snapper meal (which comes in overcooked little pieces, not a fillet!), oysters were a hit.
I love getting oysters here, the vibe is nice and chill, and servers are always nice. The food is decent. 4/5 for most seafood dishes, because the price does not match what they give. The amount of seafood is little for is price. The best economical is the fried tilapia as seen in my picture but there's not much flavor so you just get dips for that.
We stopped by for dinner. The restaurant's menu is not intricate at all, it's very simple. The food is average. We took: - mussels with linguine - there are few mussels, and pasta is not linguine at all (wheat pasta ..). - crab pie is an ordinary fish cutlet in appearance, a lot of breadcrumbs, which are a little sour, very salty! And mussel soup is an incredibly tiny portion, perhaps because it's a promo menu. Of all, perhaps the bread is delicious, which is served with water at the beginning.. The overall impression is 3 points, no more.
Very little food for the money. My wife and I came here for the first time and they gave us some sourdough bread which was super small, almost bite size. The food was very little for the money. It was good but the portions were small. I don't see this place lasting too long.
Food was good. First photo had sandwiches, crab one the right lobster on the left. Mission oysters 6 each and I forgot the name of the other 6 (I think it was raspberry point). I preferred the crab over the lobster. It was more filling. Oysters were fresh. Pricing could have been better but given the freshness of the food, I’m good with the prices. Service was a bit slow. There were maybe three tables when I came in (early afternoon) 1 server for the whole restaurant during my tome there. The stars were for the food. Minus one star for the fly that was in the water. Minus one star for the drink the server forgot to bring me. Maybe I’ll revisit and update if I come back. Too harsh on the minus stars?
This is a difficult place to rate. The ambiance is great & food is great. As a professional in the industry, the thing that lacks, is the service. I sat at the bar during happy hour and saw several flaws that, apparently, management is overlooking. The bartender serving me was very friendly, and positive. Yet, the service itself left me with several plates and items in front of me that should have been cleared away. All of my empty plates stayed with me until I left. I was sitting drinkless and foodless for a bit when the tender was in the middle of making drinks for a large order. I tried to be patient when I saw this. But when the tender finished those drinks, he failed to address my need to order more stuff (he had 3 patrons at the time). Instead, he washed dished then moved on to another order (ticket from a table). At that point, I waved down some other guy to let him know I wanted more to order. In a place that has spent so much on ambiance, they don't seem to know what's required service-wise to obtain return customers. I will not return nor recomend. Good luck.

Ate here twice last week. Food was tasty both times, service was great. I got oysters and a shrimp dish both times. If we are going off my first night, place is 4 stars. Second night I ended up getting horrible food poisoning (possibly vibrio) from the oysters. The oysters I had on the second night were the Miyagi. I know a restaurant can't control 100% for situations like these, but I was deathly ill enough that I think I'll swear off raw oysters for life. If you come here, I think you'll enjoy their food, but I can't recommend against the oysters enough.

I don't know if the good reviews here are paid for, my experience dine in is garbage stale foods, or maybe I'm a senior and they didn't even treat us respect for serving us this kind of food, I got Alfredo and mixed seafood and a calamari, I got home and my stomach is buckling up. Like trying to churn a stone , i don't recommend this place at all, I give the lady a tip somehow I know she needed it more to stay alive
I am an oyster lover but I do NOT recommend this place. Yolanda (owner? manager?) was incredibly rude to my partner. I would suggest Leo’s Oyster Bar in SF, Hog Island, or Small Change in Oakland for better service and a better experience.
