Opinions de Texas Roadhouse Union City
Our family had a fantastic experience at Texas Roadhouse. The service was both friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, and the meat was grilled to absolute perfection. We were impressed with the great value and the wide variety of options on the menu, which had something for everyone. Both the kids and the adults had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!
I highly recommend coming here and giving it a try, you’re going to love it! The staff were incredibly friendly and took such great care of our family. My parents also really enjoyed both the food and the service. We were never disappointed during our visit. Don’t forget to try the cactus blossom, it’s absolutely delicious and not too greasy. The chicken, meat, and ribs were all perfectly tender and juicy!
Recommended by a Friend. Went on blackfriday for dinner. Pretty packed place and took about 25 minute wait unless you eat at the bar or outdoors. First thing they do is to walk you to the table with the fresh buns. They are nice and hot and served with butter. I ordered a bone in ribeye with Caesar Salad and steak fries. Croutons were the best part of the salad. They were buttery and crunchy. Steak fries were seasoned and tasty. The steak was very good. Cooked to medium rare and had a char taste to it. I would order this again. Overall, this is a good place to eat with the family and the price is not bad. My meal was just a little over 30 dollars. The waitresses were absolutely very friendly.
Five stars all around. They were very accommodating for our larger party, we contacted the on-duty manager to give a heads up and it went smoothly. This has been our favorite restaurant for 20 years.
Loud and proud and fantastic steaks! The steaks are so good that once you start cutting into the juicy slab of meat and eating, you really don't want to be bothered by any small talks with anyone, which works out just fine because the place is so loud that you can't really hear anyone speak clearly anyways, so grunting a response is perfectly acceptable ... ☺️
The service here was some of the best service I've experienced in a while. Our server ensured our water were filled and even brought us extra rolls to go. The food is definitely worth the price. I enjoyed every bit of my food. I want to come back. The rolls were addicting.
Really like the atmosphere it’s very Texan and giving me country vibes also like the service they’re really nice and they’re proud and they really are nice and they really just think about you and take your order really nicely. The food is amazing. The diner are amazing. I suggest you get like 15 for yourself and bring it home and save over and also their steak goes really good and like there’s cut.
Love this place. Great food, ambiance and service. Everything they served including the complimentary bread were all delicious. Their ribs, sirloin steak and cactus blossoms are a must try. Really enjoyed every bite of the steak. It was perfectly cooked the way I wanted. I will visit this place more often and I would say it’s a must try in the bay are. The freshly baked bread was the star for sure.
First time experiencing a meal at Texas Roadhouse and it did not disappoint. Everything was so yummy and delicious. And oh that filet! Cooked to perfection, no additional seasoning or steak sauce needed. Shout out to Veronica who took the whole experience to the next level with her service, recommendations, and personality. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND***
I think everyone was more shocked about the price (really cheap!) than the fact that it tasted good. Steak is great. Skip the snobby steakhouses and just eat here twice for the same price instead. The side dishes pushed it into "how are they making money?!" territory. Get on the wait-list while you're driving there.
If you’re looking for iconic American style food, in a budgeting price with good portion to feed your stomach. This restaurant cannot be wrong. During dining, the servants visit you couple of times, asking you if you need anything with smile on her face. I ordered Killer Ribs and House Salad on that day, which I found pretty ok. I will visit there again with my wife for sure. Because it is gonna be a place for creating happy memory.
Texas Roadhouse is an experience. I love their team concept - if you will. More than just your "Server" checks in on you to make sure your "experience" is joyful and to your liking. And the same attention applies whether it's busy or not.
Great food. Lots of options with big spread. They're really busy but still cook right. Our server helped us with bread orders to go and it's delicious. Would recommend with family. Feels like a Black bear diner mixed with a sports bar. Food: big portions about 20-25 range. Feels expensive until you get your plate. Worth it
Yummy tummy 16 ounces Prime Rib, 16 ounces BBQ Ribs, 14 ounces medium rare Prime Rib with horseradish, sweet potato, mashed potato with sour cream, house salad, and fresh-baked breads with cinnamon butter. The services are great and friendly. I am a repeat customer of the Texas Roadhouse.
Jose Luis was our waiter. He gave excellent recommendations and checked on us frequently. Food was 10/10 per usual. The rest of the staff was friendly. Excellent work culture.
Went on Sunday and it was packed. One hour wait. Once we go seated. Kevin was our server and he went above and beyond. Took great care of our party of 5. Food was served in a timely fashion and he checked up on us often. Food was great too. Kevin had a great attitude even though it was packed and our order was correct. Thank You Kevin!!!
I had a fantastic experience! Ann was an awesome server, and the steak was cooked to perfection, "medium rare". I even got to pick my own steak for the first time!!! Plus, there was no crowd or wait for lunch. I'll definitely be back for more delicious lunches!
Be sure to join the waitlist EARLY! We were quoted 2.5 hours and indeed waited nearly the entire time. The food was quick and delicious!
Went for my birthday. The waiter was very accommodating for my son. Very understanding about how my son acted up. He was friendly and funny, really great service food was great. Overall 9/10
Amazing how big it is inside. Food was super tasty and filling. Server was....not the best but not the worst, I will chalk it up to the server having to walk so far from the kitchen..
As always this place is very busy. The server was fantastic and started our table of four off with three baskets of rolls! The mango margarita never disappoints. And of course the country fried chicken hit the spot! It was my first time ever trying a caesar salad instead of the traditional house salad. It could have used a bit less dressing and more croutons but still taste great. The house salad is usually my go to, I love the boiled eggs and vinegar/oil dressing!
This place is always packed, even on weeknights and when we thought it’d be quiet. But we got our table pretty quickly, within 15 minutes. However, you need to have all the party members ready (not even parking). Food was good especially their famous bread rolls with cinnamon butter. Yum! They used to provide peanuts back in the days and we could ‘trash’ the place so it felt more like a barnyard. And the waitress dance when selected song was onx
Ft Worth Steak is our go to. We love getting it with a house salad and Loaded mashed potatoes. As an appetizer, we share their Cactus Blooms and it's amazing! Our steaks were cooked just right and I rarely need any additional steak sauce. Our waiter was extremely helpful and very attentive. The service was quick and their complimentary dinner rolls are always warm and fresh.
Did not like where we were seated. If you are an older person, you might want to ask for a booth. The wooden chairs are very hard. We had to take our food and leave. Very uncomfortable. Otherwise food and server were great.
We stopped in for dinner. It was packed house so be prepared to wait. Or server Leslie was really friendly and energetic. She suggested the bone in ribeye and my sister and I both ordered that. I got loaded mashed potatoes to go with mine and my sister got regular mashed potatoes. My son wanted mini burgers so got that for him. I guess they use the same buns they give you for the burgers, my kid didn't like it being sweet. But he liked the meat. Or steaks came out and I cut a piece off and tried it and it was super salty, I tried a second piece just to be sure. So I asked my sister to try hers and she agreed it was too salty. So when it server stopped by we told her and she could see that we barely touched it and had the kitchen remake another steak. The second steaks that came out were perfect, nice grill and smoke flavor and way less salt. We kinda missed the peanuts, but you can still get them if you ask server. Overall good food and great service.
I always come here on weekends, and although the wait time is long, I leave full and satisfied. I always ordered the ribeye steak, but this time, I went with seven friends and tried several other dishes. The staff is friendly, and the steak is reasonably priced with great quality meat! :)
First time ever at Texas road house i ordered the bone in 20oz ribeye and it seemed like it had so much fat on it a little too much for my personal taste. Service was good however a little patchy they forgot the beacon on my loaded mash potatoes and they forgot to bring out my veggies as well. Other than that everything else was good.
If you want an authentic Texas steak at an affordable price, this is the place to go. The accompanying bread is also excellent. All the waitstaff were professional and provided excellent customer service. The accompanying bread is so good that you may end up eating too much of it! This is a steakhouse. There is a danger of being satisfied with the bread and sides! The house salad is also delicious.
Texas Roadhouse is a staple for good eats. To their steaks, catfish, and options of sides are incredible. Selection of appetizers and even adult beverages, you can't go wrong. I don't know if they offer it but I put the loaded chili on top of my baked potato and I can't stop thinking about it. Overall Texas Roadhouse is a must try and a must return.
Absolutely LOVE the place! It was super busy but the environment was really nice. Great and professional stuff. The bread is delicious! And the stakes OMG! Sooooo good! Cooked perfectly as we ordered. It was delicious!!!! Also, the mashed potatoes was really good. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommended
12/21/2025: We came by to have a meal with friends before Christmas. The wait was about 1.5 hours at 5pm on a Sunday. We had their 12oz prime rib $31, 8oz sirloin & shrimp combo $28, 20oz prime rib $44 and 12oz ribeye & ribs combo $39. Drinks were long island ice tea $5 and Hazy IPAs $9.25. Their steaks aren't chewy, is tender and cooked right. It is flavorful and feels luxurious. The prime rib comes with au jus and horseradish. You don't really need it as the meat is already flavorful. Service is always excellent at this location. The steaks are on point. Great job everyone at Texas Roadhouse. 2025 update. Texas Roadhouse is our favorite steakhouse in Union City. My friend lives one exit over and we both love eating here. I try not to eat too much nowadays. But the steaks are so great. We split the 16oz prime rib, country fried sirloin and a steak and shrimp combo. Everything tasted great. The chef did a great job not only with the steaks but the sides as well. We need to come back soon. Great job everyone at Texas Roadhouse. Only a 10 minute wait on a Wednesday night at 6:30pm. Updated 3/20/2023: Heads up, they smash car windows at the Texas Roadhouse parking lot. This was at 6pm on Monday 3/20/2023 in broad daylight. Ownership need to put security cameras in front of the restaurant. Pretty scary, I saw a guy dressed in black looking into cars/suvs/vans and smashing their windows. The police arrived within 10 minutes. The prime rib, 20oz (20 oz was not on the menu, they only list up to 16oz) $40 wasn't as good this time. Maybe I was I still shaken up from witnessing the car break-ins. The cactus blossom $9 was excellent. As for the country fried sirloin $17, this was my first good country fried steak since Chili's had it on their menu, yearsssss ago. I was charged +$2.29 for onions and mushrooms on my steak. They didn't put it on. My waitress later removed the $2.29 charge after I said something. The side of ribs $10 were pretty good. The meat was falling off of the bone good. Not dry. Service was fine. Original review: There was a 2 hour wait at 6pm on a Saturday. We started with the cactus blossom $8.45. This was awesome. I haven't had a deep fried onion for ages. As for our entrees, we got the bone-in 20oz ribeye $34 w/onions + $2.29 = $36.29 and a sirloin & shrimp $25 w/mushrooms and onions + $2.29 = $27.29. For the sides, we both had a Caesar salad, vegetables and a loaded baked potato. As for drinks, we had a long island ice tea and a big Blue Moon beer. Everything was great. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My steak was cooked right with a good amount of sear on the fat parts. Perfect grill lines. Their steak chef is a genius. Service was excellent. Good job everyone at Texas Roadhouse!
I recently dined at Texas Roadhouse, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful, just as I ordered it. The sides were also fantastic—whether it’s the warm, buttery rolls with cinnamon butter or the loaded baked potato, everything hit the spot. But what really made the visit special was the exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great time. Our server checked in on us frequently without being intrusive, and they were quick to accommodate any requests we had.
My experience today at Texas Roadhouse was one of the BEST restaurant experiences that I have had in a while. To start off, my partner had put us on an early waiting list before we arrived and we did not have to wait long from the time that the app said. Upon receiving my food, I realized I ordered the wrong side for my meal. I stopped a random worker who just so happened to be one of the managers if not the Manager himself to let him know of my mistake. Not only did he let me keep the first side, but let me have the correct order as well!! Once returning, he gave us some recommendations and allowed my partner and I to try the baked sweet potato on the house! My partner’s steak was cooked EXACTLY how he likes it as well! Everyone was VERY attentive in the best way possible. We received help from multiple workers who asked if we needed anything, answered all of our questions, and much more! Unfortunately, I did not catch the waitress’ name but thank you to Walter and her for making this a memorable experience!! Upstanding Customer Service in this day needs to be acknowledged when a team takes it above and beyond! Thank you so much!!! ♡
The service was very good. We ordered a pork chop special. It came out med rare. Nice thing is when you take it home as left overs, it will not be overcooked when you reheat it. Overall very good. I come here often.
We went on a Monday night and it was hopping. We arrived around 6:30pm and thought we needed to wait a wait since there was already a crowd waiting, but they must be filling up the tables because we were seated in about 6 mins. The atmosphere was nice, I noticed no more free peanuts. You have to ask for it. Must be due to many people having allergy to peanuts. Both my wife and I had the combo, 12 oz Rib eye and ribs, yummy! Our server Adrian was very good, must have checked on us about 5 times during the meal, now that is service. The combo cost around $38. We'll definitely come back again.
We had an incredible dinner at Texas Roadhouse, all thanks to our server, Gabby. From the moment we sat down, her presence was so warm and inviting. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, continuously checking in to ensure the food was perfect and our drinks were full. It’s rare to find someone so genuine and proactive. Ask for Gabby if you want a 10/10 experience!
A very popular TRH. We got here on a Sunday for lunch and was on the waitlist for 45 minutes. We walked around Best Buy for the time being before we received the text to check in with the host. You get these sweet cinnamon sugar butter rolls once you sit down, it’s warm and fresh. The waitress was quick to help us with our drinks and to order. We ordered the ribeye with 2 sides and the Texas combo, ribeye/ ribs with two sides and also a blooming onion as an appetizer. The blooming onion was so good!!! It was hot, crunchy, seasoned perfectly and so good with the sauce. The ribeyes were delicious, we asked for A1 sauce on the side. The loaded potato was so good and generously topped with bacon, sour cream and cheese. I would come here again. The prices are decent as well.
Best steak house by far! Prefectly seasoned not over salted or blend . I like my cut rib eye bone in. Rib eye was tender, and juicy delicious. Medium rare, more towards rare. Service was awesome for how busy they were. We had a group of 13, even tho they don't take large group reservation. I was able to secure phone in wait early morning for the evening. Thank you management. Our waitress went above and beyond. Thank you!
Absolutely amazing experience at Texas Roadhouse! We ordered the bone-in ribeye steak, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The bacon cheeseburger was incredibly juicy and delicious as well, one of the best I’ve had. I also really loved the Caesar salad; it was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Everything from the food to the overall experience was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back again!
Texas Roadhouse in Hayward is widely known for delivering the classic, high-energy experience the chain is famous for. While it offers great value and some iconic fan favorites, your experience can vary depending on when you visit. Here is a breakdown of what to expect at the Hayward location. The Highlights: What They Do Best • The Rolls & Cinnamon Butter: Consistently cited as the best part of the meal. They are served warm, fluffy, and are bottomless. • Steak Value: For the price point, the hand-cut steaks (especially the 6oz or 8oz Sirloin) are tough to beat. They generally have a good sear and are seasoned well with their signature rub. • Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs: If you aren't in the mood for steak, their ribs are a strong second choice—very tender with a sweet, tangy BBQ sauce. • Lively Atmosphere: It’s loud, fun, and family-friendly. Expect occasional line dancing from the staff and a "Texas-sized" energy that’s great for birthdays. The Challenges: Things to Note • Long Wait Times: This is one of the busiest spots in Hayward. Even on weeknights, waits can exceed an hour. Pro Tip: Use the "Call Ahead Seating" or join the waitlist via their mobile app before you leave your house. • Noise Level: It is not the place for a quiet, romantic date. Between the music, the dancing, and the crowded seating, you will likely be shouting to be heard across the table.
Best dining experience I ever had at Texas Roadhouse. The team that served me from 5-7pm on 10/29 was the best! Hector was my server and he always made sure I was taken care of. My order and drink came within minutes of him helping me out and everything was perfect. It was my birthday too and he made sure I got all my to go boxes and some extra bread as well before I left! 100% the best experience I ever had here and Hector and the rest of the staff deserve a huge raise! Thank you so much! -Ivan
LOVE this steakhouse. amazing service, food, and oh my god they have the best bread ever. the warm toasted bread paired with their aromatic cinnamon butter is perfect. i ordered the 14oz prime cut steak cooked medium. it was really raw at first but our server brought it back to the kitchen and it came back cooked exactly the way i like it. overall, it was a lovely evening dining here and i will be back every time i pass by union city!
Really wonderful experience coming here! It’s been a pleasure coming back after several years of hiatus. Nothing has really changed except that they added devices on each table for ordering and paying like other restaurants like this. I came here for my sister’s birthday and it was so crowded that I had a hard time eating. Got so much food and most of us probably got full because of the delicious bread with some cinnamon butter. I think most people came for this since it’s a very popular food. Perhaps, the cactus blossoms must have filled us too much! Probably should have never order appetizers lol I’m amazed that this business is still alive ever since when I was a child. I’m looking forward to trying more menu items from this place!
Overall, it's a decent place and I would recommend it with some reservations. 2 adults+2kids = $130 with taxes and tips. What I liked: good food , the meat and potatoes were okay, the corn and green beans were so-so, the bread was a little sweet, but tasty and fresh. The option to pay electronically right at the table, and convenient parking. We waited outside for about 10 minutes, and the food was brought to us 15 minutes after we placed the order. Drawbacks: it's frankly noisy, the music is loud, there are a lot of people, and there are no paper napkins.
First time at Texas Roadhouse, and it kind of reminded me of Outback Steakhouse. Same type of menu and the blooming onion. The food was good and the service was great. I had a burger, and I know I should have gotten the steak, but it was lunch time and I was craving a Burger and Root Beer. What was unexpectedly good was the rolls and cinnamon butter 😋😋. Overall. Good experience and we would eat here again.
Texas Roadhouse is always a great spot for a hearty meal with a fun atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient, and the portions were generous as always. However, I found the food to be a bit too salty this time, which took away from the overall experience. Still, the flavors were good, and I’ll definitely be back—just hoping for a little less salt next time!
We recently celebrated my cousin’s high school graduation at Texas Roadhouse and had an exceptional experience! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a celebratory occasion. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the fantastic service provided by our server, Ginoo. From the moment we were seated, Ginoo was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. He expertly guided us through the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring our glasses were always filled. His warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm added a special touch to our evening. The steaks at Texas Roadhouse were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and exactly as ordered. The sides were delicious, and the fresh-baked bread was a hit with everyone at the table. Overall, our experience was top-notch, thanks in large part to Ginoo’s outstanding service. If you’re looking for a great steakhouse with excellent service, Texas Roadhouse is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!
With very few locations left for this restaurant. It's holding its ground services was fast and easy service was about avg. Food is always pretty good. Just having to request steak sauce. In the past it was in the table along with other basic ie salt and pepper. Maybe easier to clean tables to speed up service but awkward to have to flag your service person to bring over. Other than that keep doing what you do.
Went for Sunday dinner and off the bat it was packed. We waited for about an hour before we were able to go inside. Once you get seated though the service is very fast so that made up for it. Ordered the Sirloin with Ribs with sides of buttered corn and a baked potato. The ribs were very delicious, tangy bbq sauce and tender meat. The sirloin however was a bit dry and they gave me rare steak although I asked for it medium rare. They kindly cooked it a bit more for me which I really appreciated. The sides were good and the bread and cinnamon butter was the best part. Always ask for more, they are free, unlimited, and hands down the best item there.
For anyone wanting to join the waitlist for a party larger than 6, text the restaurant phone number. Especially if it’s a busy day. Don’t call, it’ll go straight to voicemail. Don’t text the “manager phone” that the voicemail tells you to contact. I could not find this information anywhere. I joined the waitlist in app with a party of 6, 2 hours or so before we arrived at the restaurant. Then in person we updated it to be for 9 people and waited about an hour. All the employees were very nice. The food was fine. I had a good time but I don’t think I’ll go out of my way to go here again.
I like to go to Texas Roadhouse because our service is always prompt. Salad bowl ice cold, fully loaded potatoe needed more cheese on mines. My hub had all the cheese. Steak was good ( med-w). Service was good even on a busy Saturday night. I would like to turn the A.C down to about 70°/ 72°. It was a little cold but I understand. Will visit again. We drove a little over 41 miles to eat. Thanks Texas. Roadhouse
I've always been a huge fan of Texas Roadhouse, so I was excited to celebrate my birthday there last night. Unfortunately, the evening took an unexpected turn, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. The food was, as always, fantastic. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. However, just as we were settling into our meal, chaos erupted a few tables behind us. A fight broke out, and before we knew it, police officers were walking back and forth next to our table. The atmosphere quickly shifted from relaxed to tense, and my wife and I couldn't finish our meal in peace. It was disappointing, to say the least. To make matters worse, the birthday treat I received was underwhelming. Instead of the usual brownie, I was told they had run out, and I was given a bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce drizzled on top. While I appreciate the gesture, the presentation looked sloppy, and it felt like an afterthought. What struck me as particularly disappointing was that the staff seemed more focused on the drama unfolding around us than ensuring their customers had an exceptional experience. We had waited for an hour and a half to be seated, only to have our special night cut short by circumstances beyond our control. I understand that incidents can happen anywhere, but I hope that in the future, Texas Roadhouse will prioritize their customers' experiences, even in the face of unexpected events.
Amazing vibes at this roadhouse and the servers were all very nice! My partner thought his plate was a little salty which is why I didn't give it 5/5 but I thought the food was delicious. Got the 20 oz rib eye platter and very happy with the meat! The waiter was so sweet and let me change out a sweetened raspberry tea to have less sugar, its the little things that make this place great
Please do use online “waiting lists “ to get yourself a table! This place is crazy busy at all times. Our waiter Luis is a great guy. He is friendly and courteous. Our steak was excellent, cooked and seasoned perfectly. But the kitchen forgot the order of our blooming onions. It never came even our main dishes were at our table! We have to ask Luis to just cancel it for us! Also the restaurant was so noisy, you really have to yell that able to hear the people in your party!
It was packed on a Friday morning with people enjoying their meals. We were seated immediately we arrived as I already got on a waitlist before getting to the restaurant. The bread rolls were served fresh, not a fan of cinnamon, so I didn't like the butter. Service was fast, the drinks arrived early and the meals did not take very long. Our orders were served fresh and hot. It was a good meal overall, and the atmosphere was good.
Great place for the price, just always packed no matter of it's a weekday or weekend. Food is good. Recommend the onion blossom to split with others as a appetizer. Steak portions are good, is tender, and grilled very well though sometimes a little saltier than others, but still good food. Just let them know if you want it with less salt I'd say. Not a big deal imo. Ribs are on the sweeter side which isn't my style personally but it's tender and cooked well. Portions are really good for the price. Can't complain about that for the steaks or ribs. Probably not worth it for the shrimps though. Service has always been consistent but obviously there's time when they're very busy and food still comes out at a reasonable time. Though I'd say the wait time can be pretty inconsistent sometimes, so try to reserve 30min - 1hr or more ahead of time if you're eating for dinner cause it'll be really busy. I'd say go here for a above average streak house and very adorable price. Also their complimentary rolls are amazing with the cinnamon butter 10/10 for their rolls.
This place is amazing‼️ I highly recommend using the app to join the waiting list before going. The wait on a Sunday was about 1 hour and 25 minutes. The food was incredible. We ordered the ribeye steak and the shrimps. The service was fair, considering how crowded the restaurant was. I’ll definitely be going back!
Usually a FANTASTIC experience, but the cook had trouble cooking our steaks correctly. Usually a $200 bill is a pleasure to pay for our family because it's USUALLY WORTH IT! 🥳 But even with a small discount for our problems, it was unpleasant to pay this time. 😢 The manager was blase when we talked to him. Usually the managers are great! The owner/management has changed, I hope this is not their new norm. We actually discovered this place because TGI Fridays used to be next to it but when they started going down we tried there and loved it. This is how it started at Friday's fantastic and then problems started until they closed down. Please step up your game to what you were Texas Roadhouse! I don't want to lose another FANTASTIC PLACE! 🙏
We made the mistake of not joining the wait list before we left the house. Ended up waiting over an hour for a table on an early Friday evening. Once seated, service and food taste and quality were first rate. $35 for a 16oz ribeye steak with 2 sides was very reasonable. Will go back again.
Had a reservation and was seated before the reservation time despite it seeming busy which was surprising. Food came surprisingly quick as well. The bread was kinda dry and not that great. I ordered half slab ribs with caesar salad and mac and cheese. The sides were nothing special but tasty. The ribs were pretty juicy but a bit too sausy for my taste, still good tho. Service was pretty good, bread was refilled when done and when there was a mix up in my side order it was fixed promptly. Overall a fine restaurant
It is one of our favorite places for steak in Bay area. Always busy and need to wait to be served. It used to provide free roasted peanut but not any more. Atmosphere is great. Everyone of us had a great time. Steak is cooked just right this time comparing than our last visit. Waiting to visit Union City next time
Texas Roadhouse offers a lively, cowboy-themed atmosphere that's perfect for families and casual dining. My friends and I visited Texas Roadhouse on a weekend, and it was really busy. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes before we got seated. The service was friendly and attentive, with our waiter checking in regularly and ensuring our drinks were always full. However, the star of the show, the steak, unfortunately fell short. My medium Dallas filet arrived suspiciously pink in the center, and upon cutting into it, I discovered it was decidedly undercooked and rare/medium rare than medium. While the flavor was good, the texture was disappointing. Fortunately, the appetizers and sides were much better. The Cactus Blossom, a large, golden-fried onion with Cajun sauce, was visually appealing and quite good. The boneless buffalo wings were perfectly a bit soggy but well coated in a flavorful sauce. The rattlesnake bites, which are breaded and fried jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese, offered a nice kick of spice. The tater skins, loaded with cheese and bacon, were a classic comfort food done right. Overall, Texas Roadhouse is a fun and lively restaurant with excellent service and delicious appetizers. However, the undercooked steak was a major letdown.
I wish I could give it a better score but unfortunately I was under impressed. I use to come to this place as a kid with my mom and dad and the food was always amazing and great tasting. Unfortunately this time around the food was not the greatest. They also stopped giving out the peanuts. Although the dinner rolls are still amazing and the staff was super friendly. I’m going to give it another try in hopes they start making better food.
Me and my wife came here Monday night thinking maybe it wouldn’t be busy. Boy were we wrong. We decided to order take out because the amount of people there was ridiculous, line out the door. Not the restaurants fault but I don’t understand why people are always crowding this place. Anyways, there was 3 sauces missing from our order (2 extra ranch and a Cajun). I tipped to make sure the order was correct and it wasn’t. Not the biggest deal in the world but I know it would’ve been a better experience if it wasn’t so busy and we sat inside
The steak was so much better than what I got at an upmarket restaurant a while back that advertises as being a steakhouse. The lighting in the photos unfortunately does not make for a compelling case, but the restaurant was packed, so hopefully others felt the food was good too. The bread rolls are also amazing. The only complaint was that the corn side dish was way too salty.
Food was okay. Meat alil to dry but still good but the mac&cheese has really no flavor it taste like boxed mac&cheese very watery.. and baked potato dry as well and pretty cold. Very disappointed with the customer service we received especially because I used to love Texas Roadhouse, but than again this location was my first time, Fairfield is preferred.
Such delicious, warm rolls slathered with sweet cinnamon butter—a perfect start to any meal. The steaks are decent, with quality that's solid for the price, though not always top-tier. Drinks are fair.Stick to beers. The real standout is the value: generous portions and affordable prices, like their family packs, make it a great bang for your buck.
This visit was a letdown. Service was the biggest problem. A few staff members — including a couple with prominent tribal-style tattoos — came across as unprofessional and dismissive. Interactions felt passive-aggressive, disorganized, and surprisingly confused over simple requests. It didn’t feel like anyone was focused on providing decent table service. Honestly, from the way the shift was being run and how chaotic the floor felt, it gave off more of a fast-food vibe than a sit-down steakhouse experience — which pretty much matched how the service played out. The food itself was just okay. Not terrible, but nothing special or memorable. Overall it felt more like a country-themed version of a generic chain restaurant than a place worth going out of the way for. I wouldn’t return unless there were major improvements in service quality.
This is the second time that I’ve visited TRH this year. We use to visit often until service started to change. First time this year I dined in, I had the rib eye steak. Approx $35. I was able to finish half. However the meat was low quality, my cocktail wasn’t desirable. Yesterday I decided to give it another chance, I purchased the slab of ribs to go. Again the meat was low quality, every time I took I bite I had to discard it, there was no meat only fat, my bake potato was hard and whole. I had to cut it myself after having put it in the microwave. I did enjoy the rolls and my garden salad. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. When the waiter came out and request that I pay. I first handed him a ten dollar bill and told him to keep that for himself. I then gave him a hundred dollar bill for the food. He thanked me and said that he’d be right back with my change. When he returned with my change, he handed me $71.00 even. My total was $28.78, my change was supposed to be $71.22. I asked him for my twenty two cents as I had already been very generous with a tip $10 tip for a take order. The waiter said to me with a straight face; “ oh you wanted your change, we don’t usually deal with change but if you want I could go try to find it.” “ I definitely want my change back.” As he walked away I told him never mind as I did not desire to wait for him to pretend that he had to find twenty two cents, when I’m pretty sure it was in his pocket along with the ten dollars and the rest of the change that he had stolen that day. Just tacky. How dare you decide that a customer does not get all of their change back. Imagine how much one makes stealing change from customers on every shift or according to him the entire restaurant steals customers change as they; “don’t deal with change.” Photos of the food are when I first opened it and this morning right before I threw it out. A waste of both time and money. Plus I’m still hungry. I never ate dinner, I was so disappointed that I went to sleep
Awful experience here today. Our server was lackluster with zero sense of urgency. She definitely could use some coaching. Asked for our rolls twice. We watched other attends gram rolls while they were being called to be seated on deck. We waited 15 mins. Our adult beverages came out AFTER our salads and mains. So we only had room for one drink at that point. 30 plus minutes for a beverage is insane. They couldn’t cook my friend’s steak correctly to save their life. Save yourself and go to another location until this one gets it together. Downhill since Tim left. Used to be a regular and will have to reconsider.
We were in the waiting list before getting to the restaurant, after arrival they told us to wait to be called. We waited for almost an hour keep in mind wait time said 30-45 min, and we just never got called, the people that were there after us got called but not us. I asked the waiter and she said that they skipped us, instead of apologizing and helping us out they just told us to wait more. We waited for another 10 min and I asked them how much more do we have to wait and they said that they were waiting for a table to be available even though they just called two groups before us. We just left because we were waiting for to long, really sad valentines day ;-;
2 hours wait to be seated for three person party. After “ 1 hour and 30 minutes stepped up to the check-in desk, waited another 10 minutes, asked once more, and was told to ask the host inside. Host insisted de said to wait in front at station #2. Waited there for 5 more minutes until we were walked to our table. We were seated at a long table next to the bar. When I asked about a booth the host said, “This is the table we have, I don’t know about a booth table…I’ll have to ask..” I was added to waitlist on their App: “Confirmation #3968 Time: Today at 2:23 PM”. Here are the text sent to my cell phone: 1) (2:23pm) “You're on the TXRH waitlist. Text HERE once ALL guests have arrived. Text REMOVE to leave the waitlist. Conf. 3968 Quote 1h 20m-1h 30m Reply STOP to opt out. You've been successfully checked in! Please remain close to the building and keep your phone nearby. We will text you to bring your party inside shortly. -TXRH. 2) (3:59pm) “You're moving up the list, gather your completed party and go straight to the host stand to be placed On Deck for one of the next open tables. -TXRH”.
Everything was good until i found hair in the salad. Last time i found a bug!!! The reason why i still order it's bc i still have lots of gc i need to use up and my kids Love their ribs. I called the cooperate and they said they'll call back but never heard back from anyone.
We were waiting for our food and a red hair worker literally started to scream yelling at a other worker about him not doing his work right and it was inaccurate as is cause we were there for what she was claiming he was doing. Overall made the atmosphere super tense and uncomfortable for us but also for the people eating inside and the worker. It was super unprofessional and unpleasant to witness as a customer the situation could have been handled differently whether it was by saving that conversation for somewhere private or commenting about the matter in a nice less aggressive manner. The server was super nice and friendly before and after the incident happened.
We encountered racial discrimination here. There were many empty seats in the restaurant, but we were taken to a corner seat, which was very narrow and crowded. The receptionist had a bad attitude and no smile on his face. We had lunch at another chain store the day before yesterday. The waiters there were very good, so this was the reason why we wanted to eat here for the second time, but we didn't expect to be treated like this. We are about to leave by plane. We traveled in California for a week. Everything was fine, but the last meal made us feel very angry.
I signed up for the waitlist and followed the instructions provided. They told me the estimated wait time would be 1 hour and 30 minutes. When that time passed, I still had not been called, and each time I asked, they told me would be about 20 more minutes. This continued for nearly an additional hour. I understand that delays can happen; however, I believe that better communication regarding accurate wait times would greatly improve the overall customer experience. I appreciate you taking this feedback into consideration.
the system they use to seat people is terrible. they tell you 30-45 min when you sign up and when you arrive it’s another 45-50 min on top of that time . this has happened multiple times not just once .They give a scripted talk about they are backed up more than usual but that’s a lie . Then they make you wait outside when they have two check in tables taking up space . The staff is very unprofessional and not trained properly.
